They were sent by danzo, that was Arashi's first thought. She didn't even remember their names and only nodded at them as they walked in the hall. She looked at the distant and saw Naruto speaking to a boy with an ugly green jumpsuit. Arashi blinked for a moment seeing the boy's eyes shining and she whistled. Naruto turned and then the tired look in his eyes immediately faded and he waved enthusiastically at her. She waved back with a smile and then she and her team entered the hall.

Hopefully, Naruto didn't do anything stupid, then again considering how his eyes were clearly haggard, Arashi didn't think so. Regardless, she would be having more problems to deal with considering her two teammates were going to kill her and..was that Kabuto?

Arashi looked at the man with glasses and she blinked. Well this was interesting. She knew he spied for Orochimaru but the fact that he was a genin was certainly surprising and ingenious but that was besides the point. She'd given Inoichi enough hints if they weren't alert that was on them. Then again, this was the chunin exams and last time she checked, Orochimaru still was after the sharingan and still hated the Leaf.

She looked around the room and ignored everyone staring at her but she found no Orochimaru. Either he was hiding his presence or he wasn't here. Arashi didn't dare choose but she marked Naruto and she trusted that a small part of her Kurama even though merged with the original would protect Naruto.

"The boy's pointing at you" her teammate said and she looked to see Naruto pointing at her with a big smile. She smiled back and then she frowned when a sound ninja moved, she blitzed like lightening and she kicked the sound ninja on his stomach. "Bitch" the man whispered and Arashi stood with a frown and she looked down at him quietly. Naruto's eyes widened, Kiba whistled, "that was cool" and Naruto nodded dumbly.

Arashi stared at Kabuto who was a little injured and she said nothing. Their cooperation ended long ago and there were no delicate strings attached to them. She turned to face Naruto and she looked over at him, "you're okay?" she asked and Naruto nodded and frowned, "I can protect myself" Arashi shrugged and gave a look that said, 'i didn't hear that'.

Kiba whistled again and Naruto glared, "nice moves, you're Naruto's long lost twin right?" Arashi nodded and she looked at Naruto. "Introduce her idiot" Sakura whispered underneath her breath and Naruto laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Guys, this is my long lost sister Arashi, Arashi this is my team and this are my old classmates, teme, Sakura-chan, Hinata-chan, dogbreath, shino, Shikamaru, Choji and Ino" Arashi bowed politely but she didn't smile.

"I'm Arashi" she introduced shortly. Her eyes swerved the rookies and she noticed Hinata staring at Naruto with a mixture of kindness and bashfulness. Oh.

She moved her gaze again and then her eyes met Sasuke's who immediately looked away. She rose an eyebrow but didn't say anything. Itachi was way hotter than him. She had known when she was younger, because really who was hotter than Itachi? But regardless it was still disappointing.

Kiba whistled for the third time, Naruto noted and Arashi looked at him. "Who are your teammates?" Naruto asked and Arashi shrugged, "they're unimportant" she stated coldly and the three looked at each other whilst Arashi's eyes darkened and the two shuddered at her gaze.

"You painted a target on your back miss Arashi" Kabuto said and Arashi noticed that everyone was staring at her. She ignored it and shrugged. "I'll kill them all" she stated calmly and the rookies flinched except Sasuke and Shino. Even Shikamaru was unnerved at the statement that was said so easily. It like breathing and at that moment the rookies realized that Arashi was nothing like Naruto. Then again Naruto was starting to look a little different too.

"Anyways, stay safe, be safe and don't do anything stupid" Arashi stated and she kissed Naruto's cheek and left with her team whilst Naruto smiled softly although it was distinct. The only one who noticed was Shikamaru who'd been watching Naruto and Hinata. Sasuke's eyes remained fixed on Arashi and both Sakura and Ino couldn't help but feel a storm of jealousy, even though Arashi was clearly stronger and prettier than them.

"Okay brats. It's time for the first exam!"

Arashi looked at her teammates who predictably were from Danzo and had tried to kill her from the beginning of the second stage of the exam. She stared at them and then she smiled as she took out her kunai, she was going to enjoy this. She released her chakra and then she looked at the two, whatever their names were and she smiled.

"Let's begin!"

Naruto frowned as he felt the air within the air cackle. It was the beginning of the second stage of the exam and he was already tense. Something was incredibly wrong with this forest and Naruto wasn't sure if he was dreaming, but was he hearing hisses.

"Something's not right" Naruto stated and Sakura exhaled, she thought she was the only feeling this way. Sasuke stared at Naruto and their eyes met as they both silently communicated and they both stood on guard.

Naruto took out his kunai and he thought about Arashi's words.

I'll kill them all.

And he flinched. Killing was bad, but killing was the way of the ninja. Naruto didn't like the idea of killing and he'd never thought he had to do it and after the wave mission, for a second he'd been convinced that he could go without killing. That he could go without hurting people. But now, he wasn't sure. Truthfully he wasn't sure a lot of things but he knew he needed to protect his teammates.

He wasn't Arashi but he wasn't entirely useless either.

The trio walked calmly and then Sakura's eyes gravitated towards Naruto's kunai. Wait a minute. She blinked. Then she stopped. "Naruto?" she asked and Naruto hummed as both he and Sasuke looked at her.

"Where did you get that Kunai?" she asked and Naruto smiled, "Arashi gave it to me" Sakura blinked and the dots started to connect in her genius mind. No way. No way. "What is it Sakura we don't have anytime to spare?" Sasuke demanded harshly and Sakura flinched whilst Naruto frowned. "Sasuke there's no need to be rude, Sakura, calm down what's going on?"

Sasuke? Both Sakura and Sasuke thought. Sasuke frowned heavily at that and impatience rolled off him. What happend to teme? Sakura looked at Naruto in shock, "Naruto that's the Fourth Hokage's kunai" Naruto laughed and Sakura shook her head. "No I'm serious! I know that book by heart. That's the Fourth Hokage's special kunai only a privy people are supposed to carry it"

Naruto stopped laughing. "That doesn't make any sense" he said and Sasuke looked at the two in confusion. "What am I missing here?" He muttered impatiently and Naruto's frown turned into deep sitter horror as he remembered the picture of the Hokage he would stare at for days and days. No. If what Sakura said was true then..

"..this belongs to our father.."

Arashi's voice rang in the air and then Naruto remembered Kakashi's voice too.

"The Fourth Hokage was my sensei"

And Naruto remembered Arashi's voice again.

".. especially Kakashi.."

"Dobe snap out of it!"

That meant. That meant. The Fourth Hokage? The Kyūbi?

"..our father.."

"That's impossibl.." Naruto trailed off and a tear fell from his eyes. No. That was impossible.

A clown.

"LOOK OUT!"

Arashi hummed a soft tune as she looked at her two teammates who were paralyzed but awake. She dragged them by their necks as they bumped into a number of rocks and stones and she chuckled. She forgot how fighting with people could be so fun. It was truly amazing. Every moment she fought with someone worthy of someone who always tried desperately to win, Arashi felt alive. She felt revived and that feeling was only ever available when she was with Naruto. As for everything else not so much.

Before, fighting had just been automatic and simple. That was all it was and the only time she felt joy was when she sparred against Itachi or.. Orochimaru.

Arashi wasn't usually a nice girl or a happy girl but after fighting, she felt almost...sweet. Like a nice tamed cat. Like she could do anything and she hadn't felt that in a long long time. It was exhilarating fighting people who had nothing to lose but the mission, they did practically everything to win. It was amazing. She sincerely hoped Danzo sent more or even better fought her too. Wouldn't that be lovely. That'd be nice. Unaware to Arashi, her personality now mirrored her mother's and her father's combined. Although even if she knew. Arashi wouldn't care.

She felt a jolt go through her and she blinked. Kurama. Kurama was awake.

She was about to leave and follow the trail and then she stopped. Something buzzed and she looked at the tree to see the red haired staring at her. That was the one tailed's jinchuriki. The unstable maniac. Arashi's eyes glinted, was this an opportunity? The red haired left and Arashi deflated then she frowned. What was she thinking? She couldn't possibly fight Gaara now, he'd release the Ichibi and then she'd have to solve that mess. It wouldn't be hard but it'd be really annoying. Kurama had been clear that Shukaku was not properly trained and would only be a waste. She must have been high on the need to fight. This two were not desperate enough to satiate her.

Additionally, she needed to go see if Naruto was alright if Kurama was awakening.

Something shuffled. "who is there?" she demanded and she saw a Hyūga and the boy with an ugly jumpsuit and their third teammate.

"What did you do to your teammates?" Neji asked cautiously staring at the girl signaling his team not to attack. Unlike her brother, Neji knew that she was a real threat and that his team was no match for her. "They're traitors" she answered simply and then she looked at Lee who blushed and ran to her with electric speed. Tenten face palmed and Arashi stared.

"I'm Lee! Please date me! I swear you're the most beautiful girl I've seen. Even beautiful Sakura could not compare to you!" Arashi rose an eyebrow, "isn't that fickle?" She asked and Lee shook his head, "sadly Sakura's rejected me! However you seem to have even brighter flames of youth shining in you! So I gained strength to ask you. Please date me!"

Arashi observed him and noted the weights. It'd be more interesting to fight whoever his sensei was but he'd have to do. Moreover, she was sure he would grow to be an excellent fighter. "If we face each other and you win, I'll consider it" she stated and both Tenten and Neji's eyes widened whilst Arashi bowed and ran to follow Kurama's trail.

She smelled a hint of snake and her heart immediately clenched tightly.

Orochimaru.
