Naruto flinched. He woke up in a sewer and he frowned. He was back here again. He'd been here for a split moment when he tapped into the Kyūbi's chakra and Naruto guessed he was here because he'd done it again. Which was weird since he didn't remember doing it, not that he knew but still. All he remembered was a bunch of snakes and then all of a sudden. He was gone.

He walked through the place with a frown and then he bumped into a soft furry surface.

"Hey.. "

Naruto froze.

He looked up to see the kyūbi staring at him calmly and Naruto was immediately terrified. This was frightening. He held his breath and then he heard another roar and he froze even more. Two. He had two Kyūbi's within him. Oh ramen. Naruto closed his eyes and then he heard a hoarse laughter ring out. He looked to see the Kyūbi outside the cage shrunken into a medium sized dog and then he looked at Kyūbi inside the cage which turned it's back to him and huffed.

Eh.

Why was this not playing out how it was supposed to. The Kyūbi was supposed to want to eat him or something gross like that. Why was one ignoring him and why had the other shrunk? What was going on here?

"Who are you?" Naruto asked and the small Kyūbi, he'll just call it kyubiramu and the other one we'll be Kyūbi. Kyubiramu laughed slightly and Naruto rose an eyebrow whilst he looked the miniature sized version of the greatest chakra to exist of all times. And suddenly Naruto realized that he wasn't afraid anymore, in fact he was excited. Sure kyubiramu could choose to grow large and stomp him at any moment but this was the Kyūbi! And he had two! This was so cool!

He had to tell Arashi about this! If he made it out alive that is..

Kyubiramu chuckled, "my name is Kurama, nice to meet you Naruto" oh. Kyubiramu sounded better anyway. Kurama chuckled and Naruto was surprised as Kurama came to him and jumped in his arms. He purred within his touch and and Naruto smiled. Animals were usually afraid of him and they avoided him like a plague most because of well ..both of these two but still. This was nice.

"Nice to meet you Kurama. Aren't you supposed to be all frightening and teeth and all that?" Naruto asked and Kurama chuckled, "I am but I'm not feeling like it. Plus I miss being in you Namikaze's arms more than anything" Kurama said and Naruto flinched at the reminder. His eyes dimmed and Kurama sighed.

"The Fourth Hokage is our father isn't he?" Naruto asked and Kurama nodded and Naruto closed his eyes. It seems he really didn't need to wait that long and here it was. The truth in plain sight. It was truly ironic especially because he'd been staring at his reflection all his life.

"It's okay, talk to Arashi, she can't break the law if you found out first" Naruto nodded and then he frowned. "Arashi?" Kurama smiled, "yes I can see what you see but regardless of that, I'm well Arashi's Kurama" Kurama said and Naruto blinked and then it sunk in. "Oh. Weren't we supposed to merge and how come you're so nice? Why is my Kurama..soo..blah?" Naruto said and his Kurama immediately swelled and tried to claw at him.

"You stupid brat! I am the Kyūbi no Kitsune to you. You haven't earned that name!"

Naruto glared hatefully, "shut up you overgrown fox! Who wants to earn your name! You're the reason I'm being treated like shit! At least be fucking nice to me after I've been used as a scapegoat for your crimes!"

The Kyūbi growled angrily, "Well if you humans hadn't kept me locked here to be used as a weapon we wouldn't be having this problem!"

Naruto glared, "so what! That has nothing to do with me! I get that you probably have a logical reason and shit! But I've been suffering because of what you did! And I didn't hurt you nor lock you up! Why don't you at least try to be nice to me or talk to me! Do you have any idea how hard it is to be looked at like your monster! You could have least tried to explain yourself you fuckin overgrown dickward piece of rotten shit"

The Kyūbi growled, "what would I have said!? Would you even believe me!? You're deep in your stupidity that you don't even what chakra is, you weak, puny sized, orpha-"

"Kurama!" Kyubiramu yelled and Naruto felt pain tear within him but the Kyūbi didn't stop.

"It felt good to rip your mother and father apart into nothingness and I would do it a second time to. You should have seen their faces when they used their bodies as shields to protect your worthle-"

"ENOUGH!" Kurama yelled and the Kyūbi huffed and turned away. Naruto looked down. "Is he right? Did you kill my parents?" Naruto asked and looked at Kurama who was in his arms and Kurama looked away in regret. "I'm sorry Naruto" Naruto looked away, "does Arashi know?" Kurama nodded and Naruto looked at him. "Why?" he asked softly and Kurama hesitantly enlarged his tail and held Naruto. "I was angry, livid, my freedom was almost close and yet here I was being put in a child once again. I was thrust in you and yet somehow, Arashi in..Mikoto's arms was able to draw me in"

"Mikoto, who's that?" Naruto asked softly feelings resigned, "Sasuke's mom and your godmother. She ..sold Arashi to Orochimaru in exchange that Orochimaru would never touch her own sons" Naruto's eyes widened in horror.

"It didn't work out. Orochimaru may have gotten Arashi but he's back now and he attacked you. It was the man with snakes" Naruto's eyes widened and he stood up and started hyperventilating, "Kurama! My team are they oka-?"

"-hey..shhh..it's okay..breathe. Naruto breathe" Naruto exhaled and inhaled. And then he exhaled and inhaled again. "I took care of it, Arashi asked me too and I ready and even if she wasn't. I would have anyways" Naruto looked down and exhaled. "Thank you Kurama" he whispered and Kurama looked at him in confusion. "I don't understand, aren't you angry, I killed your parents, you should be mad, you should hate me. Unlike Arashi you care deeply about your parents and who they are. It's all you've ever wanted. Why are you thanking me? It's truly the least I could do" Kurama said confused and the Kyūbi although pretending not to listen was listened as well.

Naruto frowned at the fact that Arashi felt nothing for their parents then again, Arashi clearly had a complicated relationship with Orochimaru who was both her ... torturer and her sensei. Naruto would have to ask her about that.

As for why he wasn't angry. He just wasn't. "I'm not. I don't hate nor am I angry. Well at you Kurama. I know you two are one. But to you I'm not. I'm not stupid. I understand why you were angry, I can see why" he mentioned looking at the sewer and remembering the fact that humans were the ones to bother them first. He understood. He really could. But more than that he was tired.

"Even so I'm tired. What else is there to do? Shout and scream at you? What could that possibly do for me, nothing really. I can barely breathe now as it is because I'm so tired. I'm so tired Kurama of being lonely, of being angry of being sad. Whether I realized it or not, i was angry, I was hating on everyone else. And I still am. I'm broken. And I'm full of hatred and I can't make it go away. I can't Kurama and I want it gone. I just want it gone. So to put it simply, I don't have the energy to hate you. I don't. Moreover you're not really making it easier to hate you and be mad so how could I?" Naruto muttered softly and he blinked.

"Maybe I'll be angry, maybe I'll be hateful but I doubt. I understand why. Moreover, I can see you've been nice to Arashi. You've been protecting her and I've missed out on so much of her life. She's missed out on so much of mine. Apart from my anger and hatred, all I just want is to be with my sister. I just want her to be okay because just like me she's suffering and honestly it'd been fine if I was alone. But I'm not alone now. I have her. I have her to protect and that's more important to me I guess than my anger for you"

Naruto stated quietly and Kurama grew bigger and enveloped Naruto within his tails. Naruto felt his tears drop.

"I'm just tired"

And Kurama held him whilst Naruto stayed within Kurama's arms.

"It's okay kid. I got you. Arashi's got you. You don't have to hold so much. I'm here. I'll take it all for the both of you"

And Naruto sobbed softly whilst Kurama held him even tighter. The Kyūbi watched and looked away in guilt. Naruto felt something tug at him and he frowned.

"You're waking up, tell Arashi I'm with her and Naruto talk to her. All she's ever wanted was for you to be with her. She feels alive with you and it's the one way to feel alive unless she wants to kill herself by fighting to the death"

Naruto flinched but nodded and smiled. "Thanks Kurama, I'll see you soon"

Naruto opened his eyes and looked to see his teammates who were quietly sitting and on guard. "Is everyone okay?" Naruto asked and the two looked at him. "Naruto you're awake. Thank goodness!" Sakura yelled softly and Naruto smiled. "Yeah I'm fine, ya good Sakura-chan? Teme?" he asked and the two nodded. "What happened?" He asked and both shrugged, "we don't know, we just blacked out for some reason" Sakura said confused at what had happened and Sasuke nodded whilst Naruto sighed internally relieved.

He was about to speak when immediately someone launched into his arms. Naruto exhaled. Then he took a hesitant breath as he realized that it was his sister. His storm-chan. His missing piece.

He hugged her tightly and Arashi hugged him back whilst Naruto felt emotional. He was really crying a lot this week. It was so embarrassing. Hopefully the teme and Sakura didn't see this.

Arashi held his cheeks, "are you okay? What happened? I smelled Orochimaru. What's going on? Are you hurt? Let me check" she said and she looked through his body and Naruto's were wet. He immediately closed them and sighed and brought Arashi into another hug.

"Yeah...I'm fine sis" Arashi closed her eyes, "good. I was so worried. He got to you" she whispered and the admission came out raw and emotional, it was unlike anything he'd ever seen but Arashi was far too scared to notice. The moment she realized that Orochimaru has most likely encountered Naruto, Arashi felt something she'd never felt before, fear. And when she felt it, she'd so been afraid she would lose Naruto to Orochimaru. She'd been so afraid. It was okay now.

"It's okay sis. It's okay" Naruto whispered because with her safe and sound. It truly was.
