Bella pov a few days later

Sitting on my bed I hiss as Victoria uses her nail to cut my arm before licking it, this has became a regular thing it's been weird really Edward still seems to think I'm his girlfriend when I've said multiple times I'm not and refused to go be around him.

He keeps going on about Victoria and how she's after revenge for James being killed, I have no doubt she loved him, I've also been told I should start having better senses within a week.

Jane called the queens to report Edward attempting to stop a change something that's completely illegal and that he killed my maker something else I didn't know was illegal.

If you kill a Maker with a newborn you have to kill the newborn even if they haven't finished changing, I never even knew that there are generation levels or that venom is viewed like DNA in humans.

I'm considered the only child of James and Victoria, Ingrid and the vampires have been referring to him as my venom father, dad had a hard time with it but after talking with them he eased up about it and told me if he got a choice of who would be another father figure to me in a vampire life he would have been okay with James.

It's strange, I haven't told anyone this but I feel like I did when I was forced away from Dad and Emma, this sadness and longing for them but now it feels like my heart's reaching out for something only I can't seem to figure out what it's looking for.

I hardly knew James but I find myself thinking about the few times we interacted and want to cry, if I hear Laurent or Victoria mention him it's the same thing.

Then Rose, that's something else I'm trying to get use to, I feel anxious when she's not around and get aggravated easily, the last time she came to see me I would have knocked us to the ground with how I jumped on her if not for her being a vampire and me human still.

I even got mad about Emmett coming over later that day and tried to attack him, but Rose held me back while he just looked amused at my reaction.

The pack actually invited the Denali coven to join them in Cliff diving with us as a way of trying to connect with them, even the twins have been invited, they said it was some kind of celebration but didn't elaborate.

I'm not sure if now's a good time to celebrate, Dad's friend Waylon had a heart attack in his boat house and died.

Sometime later

Walking to the cliffs I look around confused seeing Sam wave us up before he pushes Jarad off the cliff.

Smiling I jog up to them tripping twice before I slam against Paul wrapping my arm around him to keep myself up.

"What's this celebration about?" I ask.

"Bonfire, it's the first one that will have vampires involved and we managed to set it up so two others could make it for the weekend" Sam says proudly.

Raising my brow I see Emma frown looking confused before looking around quickly.

Seeing Lily and Leah come out from the trees behind to the side of us Emma takes off running and jumps straight into Lily's arms kissing her while one of her hands holds onto Leah's bikini top so she can't walk off.

Once they break apart Emma throws her arm around Leah hugging her, I fight back a laugh at seeing Lily walking towards us forcing Leah to follow since Emma hasn't let her go.

Seeing Emma hop down Lily steps over to me and hugs me before I'm spun behind her and hear a splash quicker then I can turn around.

Looking wide eyed at the empty spot I look over the edge and huff "Emma your mate just tackled my mate off the cliff" I hiss.

She frowns moving closer and looking over the edge as we see both Lily and Rose surface hitting each other.

"Sam, Tanya, and Jane go break them up for us" Emma orders just as Lily breaths fire making Rose drive under the water dragging her with her.

Emma pov

Heading down I wrap my arms around Lily as she growls at Rosalie "what's the problem now?" I ask, we made sure to keep her and Leah updated on everything including the situation with the vampires.

I'm almost certain Lily's way of deciding if she'll accept someone comes from fighting, first Leah as children, then Sam when he shifted, and ever new wolf after him as gotten into fights with her that she starts out of no where.

Seeing her set her sights on Jane and Alec I tighten my hold on her rolling my eyes "Lily you can't just attack Bella's mate" I whisper even though almost everyone can hear me.

"The hell I can't, I didn't approve of her being allowed contact with her" she hisses.

"Bullshit, you gave Ingrid permission to allow it because you felt bad about keeping them apart"

"A lapse in judgement that she should have recognized"

Waving them off I grab Lily's hand tugging her till she follows me back to the house.

Bella pov

Glancing at Leah I raise my brow waiting to see if she's going to act like Lily, but she just nods before walking to her parents house dragging Seth behind her by his ear.

"I guess that settles it, Lily's gave her approval on Barbie" Sam says chuckling making me glare at him.

"Excuse me?" I snap.

"Really Bella? each pack member has gotten their asses kicked by her, your imprint held her own and even knocked Lily back a few times, the fact Lily didn't force you to leave with them means she gave her approval"

"Does Emma know about this?" I demand.

"If she doesn't I'm sure she suspects it" Paul answers with a scoff.

"Where'd they go anyways?" I ask changing the subject.

Seeing Sam and Rosa stare at me I frown "Bella, Lily and Emma are sexually active mates that have been separated for a while" Emily answers after lifting her hand to stop the boys.

Frowning I shiver slightly not wanting that image in my head, I'm perfectly fine with seeing them kissing but anything further I don't want to consider.
