Riley confesses to having a crush on Val, but Val has bad news for her younger friend. I loved this film and wanted to do a fanfic for it. That said, I absolutely don't ship them personally, but I liked the idea of writing an angsty crush rejection fic. Also, I know nothing about Hockey.

When Joy presses the puberty button, a lot of things change. Will the emotions be able to cope with these nuances? 9 years later, the last chapter is an authors note which is APPARENTLY not allowed under this godforsaken website's guidelines, so if that gets deleted oh well.
