Just another day
It was NOT just another day. They had no idea where to look or where to go. Sesshomaru didn't have his normal senses so all they had was Kagome's and she didnt even know what to feel for. "I dont know what I am supposed to be looking for," She told him,
"A witch as I have stated,"
"But I haven't met this witch,"
He sighed, "Feel for abnormal power,"
"I'm not a demon,"
"Of that I am aware," He snapped,
She turned away from him, leading yet not leading the way "Neither are you," She said under her breath,
"I may not have my demon hearing but I heard that,"
She really didnt care if he had.
Seshomaru, even human, wasn't human. He didn't seem to grow tired. He seemed to be hyper-aware and he still seemed to have demonic strength judging by the bear he killed earlier but one thing he could not ignore, that was very human, was the need for food.
Demons ate, they just didn't need to eat nearly as often, nor did they do it for pleasure.
He was annoyed with it, but Kagome, the human seemed to glow at his need for food.
He sat and watched as she made up one of her cups of noodles as she called it. Though she was annoyed with him this evidence on her face disappeared as she smiled big and handed over the substance. Thats all it was to him.
She stared, waiting, for what he didnt know.
He lifted the noodles and ate a bite.
He could not ignore the flavors or her smile that grew wider as if she witnessed something grand that she wasn't supposed to and now how a dirty little secret. He wanted to growl in his throat but he couldn't because he was too busy eating for pleasure.
It was not just another day for either of them.
