Chapter 21 – Authority Level 3

Morning had arrived in Kuoh City. The sun shone on the streets of the town, illuminating the streets and houses. It was a new day for everyone.

Students arrived at school with smiles and greeted each other in their classes. Some talked about yesterday's homework or what they had for dinner last night. Some also chatted about the latest games and manga.

Meanwhile, the Gremory Peerage had yet to show up. No one noticed this, however. Only a single red-haired girl sitting in an empty clubroom knew that they weren't coming today. And that girl was Rias Gremory, who stood next to the large windows with her arms crossed, staring outside.

"..."

Her eyes were filled with worry and anxiety.

"They still haven't returned." She muttered to herself. Her hands tightened around each other. "How could this be? Where are they? Are they okay?"

It has been more than a day since they went to the place Akeno found and had not yet come back.

Everything happened so fast. The attack from a stray Fallen Angel, a castaway from Grigori named Kokabiel, and then the matter of dungeons.

While she and her peerage had gotten stronger over time, Rias had to admit that her own power wasn't enough for a fight against a Cadre of the Fallen. It was already proven back there. Azazel even showed up himself to take care of the mess, making her owe the leader of Grigori a favor. She would pay that price later.

However, the real issue here was that her servants didn't come back to the club room yet. And there was no news regarding the place they had gone to.

"What should I do...?" She thought. Her eyes looked out of the window once more. The sight of her beloved city greeted her. It was a sunny day and the sky was clear, but her heart was heavy.

Dungeons, a strange place where monsters appeared, were something she didn't expect. She knew it had potential to change the supernatural world, and her peerage, as she could train herself and them inside. Danger was always present, but she thought that the dungeon was easy enough for her peerage to explore and conquer.

Apparently, her belief was wrong.

Maybe some dungeons were stronger. And what if her peerage found another one, entered without her, and perished?

"No, I can't have that thought." She bit her thumb and sat on a sofa, thinking of what to do next. "I need to trust them and hope that everything will be fine."

But her worries didn't cease. In fact, her mind became more anxious and filled with fear every passing moment. It wasn't until noon that she finally heard a knock on the door of the clubroom and someone opened the door.

Rias immediately turned her attention to it and found a short-haired girl with glasses entered. She was Sona Sitri, the president of the Student Council and a devil. The glasses-wearing girl was her rival back then, and now her friend. But she wasn't alone. Behind the Sitri heiress was her peerage member, her Queen, Tsubaki Shinra.

"Are they not back yet?"

"..." Rias didn't answer, just looked at the two girls in front of her.

Seeing this, Sona sighed and stepped forward. She knew the Gremory heiress enough to understand what was happening inside her head. After all, she was in the same position as her. They were the King and the heiress of the Great Devil Houses.

"Tsubaki, please." She said.

"Yes." The Sitri Queen pushed her glasses up and explained, "I have sent out my familiar to check on the location that Himejima-san has told us and found a strange red door. I believe that it's the dungeon, seeing there is the same sign with 'Elemental Tower' written on it. From what I see from my familiar's eyes, the dungeon is still open. I believe Gremory-san's servants are inside."

"They are...?" Rias' voice trembled slightly. "What if..."

"No," Sona said sternly, stopping the crimson haired princess before she fell to her despair, "We don't know if they're dead. And you should not have that kind of thoughts. Besides, your connection to the pieces is still there, right?"

Hearing that, Rias immediately looked inside her, at the eight chess pieces. The connections were there. They were alive. She was sure of it. But...

"... I still want to make sure of it. I will personally visit the dungeon myself."

Sona sighed, knowing she wouldn't be able to change her friend's mind. It was the same when Kokabiel attacked them.

"Please wait until tonight. We can't be careless. Remember what happened yesterday. A single stray Fallen Angel was enough to make you and your servants retreat."

"But!"

"I won't take no. And I will also go with you with my peerage. We will be safer that way. I have contacted Sirzechs-sama and my sister, and they will come to visit soon."

"...!" Rias widened her eyes, "Onii-sama is..."

"Your brother will be here tomorrow morning. That's why we will only investigate tonight, okay? I won't take no, Rias. This is the best plan we can have now. You can't just rush into danger and leave Kuoh unguarded after the attack."

Rias nodded after thinking about it, gritting her teeth while muttering, "... I understand."

"Thank you for your understanding. We will meet here again tonight."

Cain yawned and woke up on his bed, stretching his arms as he stared at the ceiling. He got many notifications from the system.

"Oh?" He checked on the system screen hovering before his eyes and found out that he got 20,000 Coins from the emotional reward. "It was that high, huh. But that's not the main reward."

A few notifications still flashed on his system. They caught his attention.

However, he wasn't in a hurry to check them. After living a dungeon master's life, Cain got used to a slow and easy life.

So, he brushed his teeth, took a bath, and dressed himself. Because he got plenty of Coins from the last challengers, he decided to buy new clothes that made him look like a master of something. A black military clothes with a beret hat on his head which cost no more than 350 Coins.

"Hm, maybe I should make this a habit." Cain said as he checked his appearance in a mirror. He looked at his eyes, which turned red for some reason, and stroked his chin, "If I can appear in front of the challengers in the future, these clothes will suit me perfectly. Though, that's still a long time. Maybe."

After being satisfied with his appearance, he headed to the throne room to read the rest of the notifications. He bought a cola drink and some fried chips on the way. The throne room was still a dark place, illuminated only by a dim light. Cain had no intention of redecorating his room because he was satisfied by this appearance, so the dungeon master didn't mind the darkness.

Cain then opened a new window in his system.

[Due to the increase of your fame, a new authority is unlocked!]

Authority Level: 3

Monster Control

Voice Projection

"Oh, I got two new authorities!" He said excitedly. "Now, what do these mean?"

Monster Control: Allow the Dungeon Maker to control a monster remotely and see from the monster's eyes.

Voice Projection: Allow the Dungeon Maker to project their voices through a controlled monster.

Seeing the new authority, Cain grinned widely, showing a toothy grin to the world.

Finally, the authority he needed the most. Something that allowed him to meddle with the challengers directly and indirectly, and had a lot of potential in the future. The authority to control a monster and talk with challengers through that monster!

"Haha! Yes! This is what I have waited for!" He shouted to the ceiling with excitement and laughter.

Chapter 22 – New Dimension!

It was true that his main focus was the Coins and challengers. However, that didn't mean he wanted to ignore the value of the dungeons for the challengers and himself. He also wanted to experience a fun interaction with his guests.

But that's not enough for him to stop reading. There was still something in his notification.

[You have reached your fame requirement! It's time to expand your dungeon to another dimension!]

A new dimension!

Cain's eyes widened in a pleasant surprise as he read that. A new dimension. Another dimension for him to open his dungeon.

By expanding the dungeon, he could open another dungeon door to other dimensions, and could bring the fun to other worlds and universes. That way, he could get more Coins from other sources too.

"Alright, system! Tell me more! How many options do I have? What are the requirements? Do I need to pay for that?"

[You have 3 options for a new dimension. Please select your options for free.]

1. Earth

2. Naruto

3. Fate/Grand Order

All three choices were familiar for Cain, a die hard anime lover and otaku. The first one being only Earth meant it was his original world where his original home was, while the other was the anime series that was famous, Naruto and Fate/Grand Order.

Each choice had positive and negative sides, of course. His first choice would be safe because the original world was peaceful and no one would think of a supernatural phenomenon. However, that's exactly the problem. People in that world would only see the dungeon as a myth, a legend, and only curious and brave people would dare to enter it.

His second and third choice, meanwhile, were captivating. He could disguise the dungeon as some kind of cave in Naruto world or a Singularity in Fate/Grand Order.

Accumulating Coins in both worlds would be easier, because the people would accept a supernatural phenomenon easier. However, that didn't mean he was safe. Fate/Grand Order had a lot of powerful people who could mess with dimensions. They probably could reach where he was right now.

"I want to open a dungeon in Fate/Grand Order, but it's too risky right now." He muttered, leaning against his throne, "System, will I be able to choose the option again in the future?"

The answer came in immediately. It was a yes. He was able to select another world after some time, and could open dungeons in that dimension in the future. All he had to do was to increase his Fame and Authority.

Seeing the answer, Cain grinned, and immediately selected the next dimension.

"Let's choose Naruto."

[Naruto dimension selected!]

[Fun Fun Dungeon! and Elemental Tower are connected to Naruto dimension. Please choose the entrance's location.]

"System, can you connect the Fun Fun Dungeon! to a cave in a forest in Konohagakure? Make it easy to find for Ninja. And Elemental Tower to somewhere in Sunagakure, the hidden village of Wind."

[Location selected. System is connecting Fun Fun Dungeon! and Elemental Tower.]

A system interface appeared in front of him, showing the newly connected dungeon. Cain took his time to learn more about the connection through the system and found out something.

The dungeon in the Highschool DxD world and the one in the Naruto world were connected. The limit he set for entering the dungeon also worked in Naruto.

Only a total of 6 people, from both worlds, were able to enter the Fun Fun Dungeon! at once, and 8 people for Elemental Tower. They would be able to meet the challengers in other worlds, and the dungeons in other worlds were exactly the same.

The monsters and traps, as well as layout was the same, except for the sign in the entrance.

Furthermore, the cooldown that Cain set after a party beat the dungeon, to allow the dungeon monsters to regenerate, was also shared. Which meant, only one dungeon existed, but now there were two entrances that led to the dungeon.

That was good for Cain. He had more sources of entertainment and Coins from another world.

At the same time, though, it would also limit his Coins earning. Because only one party would enter his dungeon at the same time, and he couldn't increase the number.

"I need to create another dungeon, a large-scale one where multiple parties could enter. Maybe a huge castle, a big maze, or an abandoned city. Yeah, I need to make a raid dungeon. But do I have another slot? System, show me my current status."

He asked, and the system answered like usual.

Status:

Name: Cain Volper

Title: Dungeon King (2), The King (2).

Fame: 2

Coins: 20,350

Authority: 3

Ability:

King's Privilege

Monster Modification

Item Creation

Monster Control

Voice Projection

Dungeon available:

Fun Fun Dungeon! (G)

Elemental Tower (E)

Empty Slot (?)

Dimension: [Highschool DxD, [Naruto]

Seeing the empty slot in the dungeon menu section, a grin appeared on Cain's face, showing an exciting and joyful smile. Just as he had thought. When his fame grew, he would be able to create a new dungeon. It was just a matter of time to create a large-scale dungeon.

And that time was now.

"I have a lot of Coins to spend. Let's add a few hidden rewards in my Elemental Tower, to give hope and entice my challengers." He grinned widely.

He didn't think that his second dungeon would be ranked E. He created it with a beginner friendly thought in mind. He didn't even have anything interesting for hidden rewards in his Elemental Tower. But that wouldn't do. Not anymore.

He was no longer the same Cain who just started building a dungeon. He had learned a lot by now.

After expanding to the Naruto world, he had to think how to make his challengers enter his dungeon again and not just doing one time run.

"Hidden rewards. Hidden rewards..." He murmured, thinking of ideas while scrolling down his dungeon system menu. "Hmm?"

While doing that, he found something interesting in the menu. Whether he missed it all this time or it came along with his new Authority and the change in his title, he didn't know. However, this additional menu was a game changer.

"I can see the monster's status?!" He exclaimed with his eyes shining brightly.

Without wasting any time, he decided to check all monsters he already put in Fun Fun Dungeon!, which included a normal slime, goblin, orc, and Minotaur. Their statuses displayed on the screen, similar to an RPG game.

Race: Slime

STR: G-

VIT: G-

AGI: G

MP: G

HP: 15/15

Race: Goblin

STR: F-

VIT: G

AGI: F

MP: G

HP: 50/50

Race: Orc

STR: E

VIT: E

AGI: E-

MP: G-

HP: 120/120

Special Skills:

Orc Rage

Race: Minotaur

STR: D

VIT: C-

AGI: E

MP: F

HP: 250/250

Special Skills:

Rage of the Bull

The system was like an RPG, so he understood it pretty fast. For example, the Yeti had a status like this:

Race: Snow Yeti

STR: C

VIT: C

AGI: E

MP: F

HP: 550/550

Special Skills:

Snow Yeti's Rage

Ice Blast

Trait modified:

Cold Enhancement: STR and VIT increase exponentially in cold weather

The Yeti's special skills were a close ranged melee attack with its large hand that dealt high damage and an AoE attack that dealt less damage than melee, but it also had a chance to freeze the target.

This was the strength of 800 Coins monster with a simple trait modification that Cain could use from his authority, raising the monster status from D rank to C rank.

"Now this is interesting." Cain smiled widely and looked at the status of his monsters again, "I can create a more detailed plan with this. The new dungeon planning will be a lot easier."

With this new knowledge, he opened the monster creation menu. His mind was full of ideas for new monsters, dungeons, and even the hidden rewards in the Elemental Tower and Fun Fun Dungeon!.

"Let's get to work."

Chapter 23 – Student and Teacher

In a hidden village located at a forest of Fire Nation, hidden by the thick trees, a village stood proudly with its name. Konohagakure, the village where shinobi lives, the land where they called home, the place they were proud of.

A ninja was sitting on top of a building. He had a bandana around his head, which had the Konoha village symbol on it, a proof of his allegiance. His face was hidden behind the black bandana, but a single Sharingan was revealed, showing its beauty.

He was Kakashi Hatake, a Jounin and a teacher for the new generation of Ninja. The man had an orange book on his hands, reading and chuckling at a scene. He was a teacher now, but his love for the Icha-Icha series didn't wane, even though it had been more than a few years since the last series was written by his favorite author, Jiraiya the Toad Sage, the legendary Sannin.

"Hm, what a good book, as usual." He chuckled, hiding his face with the book, "Maybe I should visit a certain ramen stand to enjoy my lunch."

As the man put the book away in his pocket, his head suddenly snapped up to a direction, looking at the horizon. Birds flew away from a certain area, a forest that was near his village. Strange unrest was happening. A sudden change.

"Hm, that place is..."

While Kakashi wasn't a sensor ninja, he could feel that a sudden change was happening in that forest, as if an abnormal phenomenon was taking place, and something was born from it. His instinct, honed several years in Anbu and battlefield, screamed at him. Something wasn't right.

And when he turned his attention away from his senses, he noticed something on his back.

"Uhh, sensei! You're leaking! You're leaking!" A young ninja with blond hair and wearing a jacket composed of orange and black was screaming and coming at him with a bucket full of water.

At that moment...

Poof!

He turned into a log and appeared behind the boy, holding his head in a painful grip.

"Not today."

"Ouch ouch ouch! That hurts sensei! What's wrong with you?! Why did you do that to me?! We haven't met for 2 years and yet you still treat me the same, huh?! " Naruto screamed.

The pain didn't affect him too much, as his pain threshold had gotten higher after the training with Jiraiya.

He jumped away and scratched his head, which was hurt from the grip.

"And here I bring you something good."

"Sorry. I thought you're someone else. You really caught me off guard there, Naruto." The silver-haired Jounin said, hiding the fact that he had a feeling that something was wrong. His eyes went to the book that his student held, "Could that be?"

"Hehehe, it is. The new volume of Icha Icha! This one's a limited edition, so there are only a hundred of these in the world. It's called Icha Icha Paradise!"

Hearing this, Kakashi's interest immediately peaked, but he controlled his expression to appear nonchalant. The mask definitely helped with that.

"Is that so? If you give it to me, then I won't refuse."

Naruto smirked. He already knew that he had won, and Kakashi wouldn't refuse. Not when Icha-Icha Paradise, which only a hundred of these were printed in this world, was being held in front of his face.

"Well, you can have it, sensei." He grinned and lifted his finger up, "But! I will show you my progress. Let's have a spar in the forest. It's been a long time since we met. I want to show you my progress."

The white-haired ninja smiled under his mask, nodding his head. It had been a while since he had seen his student's progress. He had heard about the boy's development from other people who met him first, and now he wanted to confirm it himself.

"Let's go then."

Ignoring his false alarm, Kakashi and Naruto went to the forest. They unconsciously walked toward where the strange phenomenon was happening, as if they were moths flying toward a lamp, straight toward the dungeon's location.

It took them about half an hour to reach a secluded part of the forest where they were surrounded by thick trees. There were animals nearby too. Birds, rabbits, and some insects.

Naruto immediately took his battle stance and attacked Kakashi once they reached a clearing. The Jounin teacher, on the other hand, dodged the attacks with a lazy look. He kept moving between trees and foliage while evading and counter attacking.

"You have become much faster. You are stronger now. But your technique is a bit sloppy."

"Sloppy?! Don't call it that!" Naruto exclaimed. "This is my Taijutsu. My own fighting style! But you're cheating. You're using a sharingan already."

Kakashi dodged to the left while laughing, then jumped on the branch of a tall tree and watched his student from above while crouching. His smile widened under his mask. "I'm glad you're not the same old Naruto. You've gotten stronger."

"You bet! This is just my first step." He grinned widely.

Both of them talked for a while and walked around the forest, reminiscing about the old times. At the same time, they also discussed their progress. A pretty chill and nostalgic conversation, as it had been 2 years since the two met.

During their conversation, Naruto noticed that they were in a part of the forest that was familiar. A clearing where the grass was thick and the trees were lush. The boy couldn't help but frown in confusion, and then a memory surfaced in his mind. There should be a tree he used to train back in the day.

'It should be around here.' He hummed and turned to the right, expecting to see the old tree.

And when he did, his eyes widened.

"The tree... it's gone?"

In the place where an old, large tree was, stood a cave entrance with a sign.

[Fun Fun Dungeon! Please enter to challenge the dungeon! Only 6 people can enter the dungeon at once!]

Chapter 24 – Too Few Coins!

"What is this place?" Naruto asked, looking at the sign on top of the entrance, "Is this a secret training place? When was this built?"

Curious, he walked to the entrance, inspecting the sign, the entrance, and its surrounding.

Meanwhile, Kakashi, who saw his student's action, suddenly pulled his scarf down and let out a sigh of relief. His eyes, though, never left the sight in front of him.

There was a reason for his action, a good reason to not hide his sharingan anymore. It was because the area was covered in a strange space, something a bit familiar to him due to the nature of his mangekyou sharingan.

"We need to report this to Tsunade-sama." He said, looking around.

Naruto, hearing this, turned to his teacher.

"Sensei, what's wrong?"

"We need to get back to Konoha." The man answered. "We can't go inside. This place wasn't here when they conducted a patrol a week ago. It appeared suddenly and unexpectedly, like a space rift. Most probably, this was the reason the birds fled from this place a moment ago."

Naruto raised an eyebrow. He didn't feel the danger of the entrance, but he could tell something was wrong. It wasn't something a regular person would feel.

But then, Naruto wasn't a regular person. He nodded to Kakashi and walked out of the entrance, returning to the village with him. They would need to talk to the Hokage, Tsunade.

The village leader, who had golden hair, was waiting inside the Hokage Tower with an ugly frown, a sign of her annoyance at the two ninjas who dared to enter her office while she was working. The blonde woman, wearing an aged green robe and with her hands crossed together, looked at the two with an uninterested stare, before her attention was directed at them.

"What?" She said, annoyance was clear in her voice.

"We found a suspicious cave." Kakashi reported, "The entrance had a sign saying Fun Fun Dungeon! written on it, saying that it had a 6 people limit. Most probably, it just appeared suddenly and dangerous. A space-related ninjutsu might be at work. Either that or..."

"The cave has been there for a long time and the seal that hides it has gone off." Tsunade narrowed her eyes and finished Kakashi's words, eliciting a nod from the Jounin.

Silence descended upon the Hokage room as Tsunade held her forehead, calming the throbbing headache down. She wasn't a fan of strange phenomena that she had no control over.

"I will send a team to investigate. Who's available now?"

"I believe Guy Team is available." Kakashi suggested.

"And I am also free!" Naruto pointed at himself with his thumb.

The blonde woman nodded and wrote a scroll. "Go to Neji. Give him the mission and have him and his team go with Kakashi and Naruto."

A masked ninja suddenly appeared from behind the Hokage's chair and took the mission scroll, vanishing away in the next moment. Tsunade stared at the empty air where the Anbu was for a while before returning to her paperwork.

Meanwhile, Kakashi sighed in disappointment, "Why me?"

He didn't expect to be dragged into this. At least, not after he got the new Icha Icha paradise. He just wanted to read his book, but order was an order.

And as a shinobi, he was trained to obey.

As the Ninjas, and the Devils, prepared for their dungeon run, Cain also started planning for his big scale dungeon. He drew the rough design and the planned traps and monsters in a paper he bought from the store and grumbled.

Something had troubled him since he finished the rough design of his third dungeon.

The reason?

It was because he had to plan the entire thing from the ground up, as his previous dungeons were small. The third one, meanwhile, would be big, a castle that could fit tens of challengers at once, a large dungeon where the intruders had to tread carefully, create a map, strategize, and work as a team.

Everyone should be able to enjoy his dungeon. Not just Ninja, Devils, or supernatural entities, but even normal people. That way, he would get more audience that could bring him more Coins.

And so, he was thinking about the design, and then it hit him.

He could take inspiration from a famous MMORPG novel and anime, Sword Art Online. A flying castle called Aincrad, the world where the players were stuck. The floor design and traps he had seen on the series should be useful.

However, that was only a small part of it. While the first problem was solved with a little bit of inspiration, where he could assign people to start on the early floor, another problem came up.

"What if Azazel or Sirzechs entered? Or what if Naruto suddenly went berserk and released 9 tails? The dungeon would be a mess."

And it wasn't only them. There were also people who were stronger, like Madara, Kaguya, and the other Devil Kings who were more than capable to wreck havoc. They were strong enough to beat a single floor in the blink of eye.

Limiting their entry would be impossible because his current authority wasn't strong enough. But if he didn't limit their entrance, he wouldn't get anything. If they were to enter his dungeon and reach the end, he would be forced to pay the reward.

Thankfully, they were so busy with their own affairs that such a thing wasn't a priority. Otherwise, he would go bankrupt and have no Coins to buy food.

"I will not worry about that for now. There is a more pressing problem."

Right, the last and most important problem that made Cain hit his head to his desk repeatedly, the one that caused him to lose focus, the lack of entertainment, and the biggest problem that was hindering his planning. A big problem, so big he had no answer for it.

"The lack of Coins! I need more Coins to finish this project! Should I tone it down and save this for the next dungeon? I can create a big dungeon for more than 20 people with my current Coins. That should be enough, right?"

But the more he thought about it, the less he could do. His ambition and imagination were bigger than the amount of Coins he had.

How troubling.

Chapter 25 – Dungeon Planning and Another Try

The system window that showed him his current Coins didn't help at all. The amount of 20,300 Coins, after he bought the paper and pen, just wasn't enough for his plan. The lowest cost of the dungeon he had in mind should be more than 50,000 Coins.

"I am just a newbie, after all. I should take it slow and learn from my mistakes. Let's just make this dungeon a maze with the castle as the center. The monster should be getting stronger the deeper the intruder is in the dungeon."

Cain sighed and began to work.

First of all, he designed the map, buying every necessities. Because there was no need for any special environment that required modification, Cain decided to not change the weather. He would only use the standard dungeon with 1 floor but a wide area, spanning over 5 KM from the edge to the center of the maze.

The maze would be made of tall, white, concrete-like wall that looks smooth from afar. He added some vines and cobwebs to add some aesthetic sense. It was the same kind of maze like the one from old RPG games like The Legend of Zelda, but more modern.

At the same time, Cain designed the floor as well. The entire floor was covered in cobblestone. He used a randomized option, adding cracked stones here and there.

The entrance, meanwhile, was in the shape of a huge gate with a blue glowing light on it, and there would be no door to close the gate.

Overall, he used around 2,500 Coins for this. Expanding the map alone took 1,000 Coins, so his design was cost-friendly. It was a simple maze with no traps, just monsters and treasures.

"Let's make it dark so the challengers would need to bring either a torch, flashlight, or something similar. Or if they are brave and confident in their ability to fight, they would enter without light."

With that in mind, Cain put the light to 25%, making it as dark as night. He also created a few hidden rooms with treasure chests. For now, they were empty, but he planned to use his [Item Creation] authority to create something later.

"Now that's done, let's create the monsters. When you think of a castle, then there are only a few bosses that come to mind, no?"

Opening the monster menu section, Cain used the filter function to search for the monsters he wanted.

First, the monster that came to mind was the one that made the castle their home, the one who sucked the blood of humans and was said to have lived forever. The one who ruled the night, a creature that had super strength and could control bats.

"A vampire!" He said excitedly, choosing one in the monster menu and bought it.

A chuckle came from his mouth as he chose one and placed the creature at the end of the maze, where the castle was. Afterward, he added more creatures.

While fiddling with the filters, Cain found something interesting in one of the menus. It was something called 'Monster Spawner', which could spawn monsters at a certain interval.

Unlike buying normal monsters, the monster that came from the spawner didn't follow the usual respawn time, which was around 1 to 3 days depending on the monster. However, Cain couldn't control the spawn either, as it came in a set interval.

"Skeleton Spawner, summoning 1 skeleton every 1 hour with a maximum number of 25. The cost... What? 1,000 Coins?!"

Race: Skeleton

STR: F

VIT: F

AGI: F

MP: G

HP: 65/65

For comparison, Yeti that obliterated the tired Fallen Angels and Issei's group only cost 750 Coins, but a Skeleton Spawner that didn't have any effect on the area and could summon a maximum of 25 skeletons cost more than 1000.

Of course there was an effect where it could summon a skeleton every 1 hour, which was way faster than Yeti, which took 3 days, but...

"This is too expensive!" Cain shouted.

However, Cain didn't have any other choice than this. With this spawner, he could ensure that the dungeon wouldn't need a cooldown time and could be explored anytime, even right after another party finished the dungeon. It was a necessary cost if he wanted to ensure a steady flow of income.

And so, Cain gritted his teeth and bought it.

He then bought the Skeleton Knight, the upgraded version of skeleton, and placed it near the hidden spawner to command the skeleton army. The skeleton knight cost 200 coins, and it came with a full set of iron armor and sword.

Following that, he added a few monster spawners and elite monsters throughout the dungeons, ensuring there would always be monsters in the area.

And for the final touch, a trap. A simple but effective trap.

"Arrow traps on the wall."

With that, his new dungeon was done.

It only cost him 18,900 Coins. Not too shabby. The rest of the Coins he had left would be used to create the item reward for Fun Fun Dungeon! and Elemental Tower.

"It's not exactly complete, so I can't really say I am satisfied. Too bad that I can't add anything else. Let's create a reward now."

In fact, he already knew what kind of reward he wanted to create. A magical item necessary to explore a dungeon. He had this idea since Issei's party didn't use the potion to recover their health in the second dungeon.

'Maybe they don't know or don't trust the potion effect. In that case, let's make them able to know the item effect without having them do any experiment with it. It would be a waste if they throw it away because they think it's poison or trash.'

A simple and convenient solution for both Cain and the challengers. The reward he hid in the special treasure chest would benefit both sides greatly. He opened the [Item Creation] menu and began to work, creating a simple item in the form of a monocle.

"The item creation only cost 150 Coins. And then adding the item effect... Oh, 250 Coins? It's cheaper than I thought. In this case, let's buy 2 HP and 2 Recovery Potions. I would be left with only 400 Coins, but that's fine. After all, I will get more soon."

The screen that he set up to show the dungeon entrance showed two different groups in two different entrances. A group of shinobis from Naruto World stood in front of a cave entrance while Devils dressed in school uniform looked at the ominous red gate cautiously.
