Hello to all who read this story here. I hope you like the story and feel free to write a review.
It was cold, wet and dark. Well not quite. The headlights of the car pointed to the almost empty road on which Alicia drove with her Ford Bronco. She had just come from the university and wanted only one thing. Back to her apartment. A traffic light was approaching as she turned the corner to the right. Of course! It was red and not green. It wouldn't be the first time. Yes, Alicia has already encountered three more red lights. This was now the fourth in a row. Annoyed, Alicia rested her chin on the steering wheel and looked at the light patiently. Come on! She was the only one at the intersection. There were no other cars nor any pedestrians walking across the crosswalk.
So why should the traffic light be on red when no one is on the road at this time? Alicia wondered very much because normally she would never be on the road so late. Her lecture was supposed to go until 6:00 p.m. but her lecturer was of the opinion to postpone it to 8:00 p.m. The students who only made their studies in the evening were already there. Who was to blame for Alicia and the other students coming out of the university so late? Their lecturer Mr. Davis, of course. He was the substitute for Miss Ross who had a cold at the moment. Well, no wonder it was the end of September and the beginning of October. The cold season was in full swing. Of course, Alicia was not spared and was in bed for a week with fever and whooping cough. She felt like a heater that was getting warmer and warmer. But fortunately, her grandmother's panacea helped. Chicken soup. Two days later she was well again.
Of course, this was not the case with Miss Ross who had been sick in bed for a week. Mr. Davis was, of course, a somewhat different lecturer and was clearly more popular with the students. But Alicia did not really like him. He reminded her a little bit of Scar from The Lion King. Only he didn't have the same scar as Scar, but his goatee looked similar. Even more, he liked to flirt with some of the female students. Alicia not included. That's why she always sat far away from his table and near the male students. Just the thought of it made Alicia want to vomit.
The light went from red to green and Alicia stepped on the gas pedal to drive off in her car. As she thought, no other car was there except for her. Nobody goes out voluntarily in this rain. Well, except for Alicia who was literally surprised by the rain as she walked from the university building to the parking lot. The walk was about 3 minutes. But as soon as she saw the parking lot it started to rain in torrents. Really great. She was completely wet from head to toe. Her short black hair stuck to the back of her neck and jacket, which was also wet.
Yes, she wanted to change as soon as possible and then relax. Watching a movie would not be bad. But the question was which one? There were many to choose from. To find the right one will be difficult. "Well, I'll decide then" she said as she turned left down the next street and then drove into a side street on her right. Her apartment was the third house on her left. In the small alley next to it she drove her car in to get to the backyard. But before she could do that the gate had to be opened. So she put the gear stick in P, took her still wet jacket which she pulled over her, went out of the car and opened the gate while the rain was getting heavier. The two halves of the gate parted while Alicia held one with a wedge and the other was raked in so that it wouldn't close again and Alicia could drive to the backyard without scratching the car before closing the gate again.
There were four other cars in the parking lot. Alicia did not know who they belonged to and did not want to know. She wanted only one thing. "Get out of this stupid rain!" so she walked out of the car with her shoulder bag tucked under her arms straight to the front door to her apartment, or rather the entrance to the apartment building her apartment was in. Besides hers, there were five other rental apartments in the building. Alicia's apartment was in the middle with another tenant. It was a small three room apartment with a bathroom with a shower, toilet, washing machine, closet and mirror that were by the sink. The kitchen was next door and like the other apartments had a built-in kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, hood and several cabinets in which all her plates, pots and co. were.
A small table with two chairs and another cabinet were also in the kitchen. Across from the kitchen was the living room where her sofa was, a wooden table, her smart TV, two small cabinets and a small desk. On the sofa she put down her shoulder bag before undressing. Of course, she put her shoes next to the door before she entered the living room. The jacket she hung on the coat hook that hung in the hallway on the wall next to her other jackets. But before she could even think about going into the living room she went into her bedroom which was next to the living room and the storage room. She took off her wet clothes and took her pajamas. A blue top with long arms on which was a full moon with the head of a wolf and a black bottom with a striped pattern. She threw the rest of her wet clothes into the laundry basket in the bathroom.
This one was full to the brim. "I should probably do my laundry soon" she said to herself as she looked at the laundry basket, deep in thought. But I can do that tomorrow! She smiled and looked at the mirror in which she was looking. Her eyes, of course, were not monochromatic like those of a normal person. No she had inherited from her mother Dolly heterochromia whereby her right eye is blue and her left green. Around her neck she wore a necklace with a wolf, dragon and phoenix head whose mouths were wide open. But that was still freaky enough because on her right upper arm she had a tattoo that was a mixture of tribal symbols and an upside down pentagram. This she wore for a while already and did not really bother her. Of course, some of the students and lecturers asked her why she wore a tattoo at all. But Alicia always ignored this. She resigned herself to the fact that people called her Alice, although her name is actually Alicia.
She was not proud of it but she could not change it anyway as she just looks. Nobody should be ashamed of it. But sometimes she feels very ashamed about it. But she should not think about it any longer and shook not only her head but also the thoughts away that swore in her head. "No, I'm fine!" she said and went out of the bathroom after changing her clothes and turning off the light. Now she wanted to relax and nothing more or less. University was over for now and the weekend had priority. So, determined to enjoy the weekend, she went into the living room, turned on the Smart TV and sat down on her sofa. Or rather, she lay on the couch that was connected to the sofa and belonged to it. The TV started up by itself and the streaming apps smiled at her. Alicia clicked down with the remote to be on the tab where all the apps were. From YouTube to Netflix, her Smart TV had every streaming app. But Alicia only had a subscription to Netflix and Disney+.
She clicked on Disney+ and the Disney logo appeared while a white line went over the word and became the plus sign that stood behind Disney. Alicia selected her account which had a picture of adult Simba and was next to that of her brother John who had Sam the American Eagle as his profile picture. Her parents Dolly and James also had their own profile and Mickey Mouse as their profile picture. Alicia clicked on her profile and was taken to the Disney+ homepage where she was shown the latest movies and series that the streaming service had just added. But she wasn't very interested in them and wanted to watch old school classic movies. Once because she had watched these as a child with pleasure and because Miss Ross had worked at Disney on many of the films had helped. She was an animator for both Hercules and The Lion King.
She even still had some of the animation cels from The Lion King at the time with Mufasa and Simba on it and with Hercules and the Hydra. Of course, all the students were very excited when she passed them around and everyone could see them. Normally such animation cels were very expensive and rare to get. To see one in real was something special for Alicia. Even if she would have preferred to see cels of Balto.
But she was satisfied with it and decided to choose one of the two films. But it was a difficult choice because she liked both movies. Yes, Alicia could only watch one before she went to bed. The choice should be chosen quickly. Fortunately, the list had both movies next to each other, so she walked over to the TV, pointed her index finger at Hercules, closed her eyes and mentally said "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe and out you go!" while moving them to the right where Lion King was and back to Hercules. She did this until she finished the sentence, her finger stopped, and she slowly opened her eyes. Her finger pointed to Lion King and she decided to watch the movie.
So she got up, walked away from the Smart TV and sat down on the sofa and took the remote to switch the cursor to Lion King. She pressed the OK button and came to the home page of the movie where she can see the trailer and extras next to the movie. But she didn't want that and went with the remote control on the button to start the movie. Well, she wanted to but her stomach growled.
Who could blame her, she had not eaten for exactly six hours because her lecturer had left her longer in the lecture. She didn't care how late it was, she just wanted to eat a little something like chips or popcorn. This was quite quick but her stomach growled even more when she smelled the sweet caramel smell of the popcorn as it slowly popped in the microwave. Oh yes her stomach growled very strongly and hurt a bit. But when the microwave went off and Alicia took out the bag of popcorn that she filled in an extra bowl, she couldn't help but snack. "Oh God this tastes delicious!" she said with her mouth full and went into the living room.
Finally she could enjoy the movie undisturbed as she sat on the sofa, placed the bowl between her legs, took the remote control and finally started the movie.
The image was black for a short time until a blue night sky could be seen with many stars and clouds. The camera moved down and for a short moment only the clouds revealed a landscape with a river. A large sailing ship was sailing on the lake while a steam locomotive was running on a bridge over the river. A small town with houses appeared through which the locomotive passed. Lights were burning in the houses and on the streets. A flag post with a flag attached to it waved in the wind in front of the camera. On the flag were a light blue field with golden arms that are nearly impossible to make out, three golden lions and a helm crest on top of it.
But it was hard to see because the flag was moving very fast while the camera was moving away from the flag and slowly the whole Disney castle was visible while fireworks were fired in the air. All the while, the melody of "When You Wish Upon a Star" played in the background. The fireworks continued to shoot in the air as a small spark of light flew to the far right and made the familiar arc of light that went across the castle and faded as the fireworks stopped while under the castle the word Disney appeared out of sparkles before the melody stopped and the screen went black.
This did not remain black for long as a red lettering appeared and jungle sounds could be heard.

Appeared on the screen before it disappeared and a lion roar was heard. Alicia however knew that it was not a lion roar but that of a tiger. Yes Miss Ross had told her and the other students that they used tiger roar as a lion roar while the other lion roars are from Frank Welker who used a trash can. Many did not believe Miss Ross however when she showed the students a video of a lion roar and that of a tiger many were speechless The sun slowly rose on the screen, showing the African savannah while Alicia got goosebumps. Not because she got childhood memories but because of the song that was playing at the same time as the sun was rising.

From the beautiful sunrise, the film now showed a rhino, several antelope and meerkats standing upright and all looking in the same direction. In the direction of the sun.

From the day we arrive
On the planet
And, blinking, step into the sun
From the antelopes jumping in the mist, the image now showed a mother giraffe walking with her cub on a grassy landscape. Both were still in the shade, which is why the cub closed its eyes to avoid being blinded by the sun before it saw what the two were running towards.
There's more to see
Than can ever be seen
More to do

It was a herd of animals that went wandering. Both joined the herd while even the smallest creatures like ants climbing up a branch and carrying leaves in their mouths ignored the herd of zebras. Where all the animals went Alicia knew. But she was excited by all the details she saw. Be it the background or the animals themselves.
There's far too much
To take in here
More to find
Than can ever be found
A group of Hoatzin ran past the camera while behind them appeared a group of African elephants, one of which almost crushed a Hoatzin with its foot.
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small
On the endless round
The herd of zebras from earlier ran into a lake to get to the other side of the lake. So did the other animals that also went through the lake. No matter whether herbivores or carnivores. Everyone was in the lake. Well, not everyone. The birds sat on the tusks of the elephants. "Here it comes" Alicia said quietly to herself as she got goosebumps and her whole body tingled.

The herd went out of the lake and ran towards a big rock in front of which the herd of animals stopped. A red-billed hornbill flew towards the rock on which a lion stood to greet the arriving herd. A large, lean, and powerfully built lion, with broad shoulders and a muscular frame. His features are more pronounced and blocklike, such as his square muzzle, his abnormally large nostrils, and his thick black eyebrows. His main pelt is golden, while his muzzle, paws and underbelly were paler in color. A full red mane that extended to the middle of his chest. His eyes are red. The hornbill landed in front of the lion and bowed to him, which smiled at him.

But his attention wandered from the bird to what was passing through the herd of animals. One did not see exactly who or what it was but the stick to which fruits were tied with a rope was hard to miss. When the animals gave way, however, one saw that it was a mandrill. A tall, long-limbed, and skinny mandrill with blue-tinted dark gray fur, with a pale gray underbelly, broen hands and feet, and a blue backside. He has a pink muzzle, blue stripes on his cheeks, a bright red nose, and dark blue eye rims.

The cricle of life
The lion was very pleased to see the mandrill slowly climbing up the rock while the staff served as a walking stick. At the top, the two greeted each other and embraced while looking at a lioness holding a cub in her arms. It was Sarabi the queen and wife of Mufasa the lion who had embraced the mandrill named Rafiki. She is a large, long-bondied, and muscular lioness and notably taller and more heavily-built than the other lionesses. Her main pelt is medium brown, while her chest, muzzle, eye rims and paws are tan. She has dark ear rims and a light brown nose and orange eyes.
Mufasa went to Sarabi and rubbed his head against hers while they cuddled and a soft purring could be heard. The rest of the lionesses who were in the background watched the whole thing before Sarabi licked her cub on the head, which woke up and looked slightly sleepy. The cub has a rich gold main pelt, while his paws, muzzle and underbelly are cream. The eyes are black with yellow sclerae and framed by bi-colored eye rims while the upper shades are darker in color. The lower shades were lighter in color.
The cub looked up at Rafiki who smiled at him before he shook his staff with the fruit hanging on it back and forth causing the lion cub to react like a cat and grab at the fruit while showing claws. But it couldn't reach any of them because Rafiki took one fruit and broke it in two with his hands. The juice ran out of the fruit and landed on the ground, but it didn't hit the lion cub, Sarabi or Mufasa, who were just watching what Rafiki was doing. He inserted his thumb into the liquid of the fruit, giving his finger a slightly reddish pink hue. With the soaked thumb he drove over the forehead of the lion cub before he took with his other hand some earth in the hand which he also distributed over the forehead of the lion cub. The cub sneezed as some soil fell into his nose. Mufasa and Sarabi smiled and cuddled together while Rafiki took the cub in his hands.
He put it over his right shoulder while the two lion parents smiled at him before he walked with the cub to the top of the rock where Mufasa had stood before. Both trusted Rafiki and did not worry that something would happen to their lion cub. The rest of the animals saw Rafiki with the lion cub slowly approaching the top he carried on his shoulder. All the animals were more than patient.
It's the circle of life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
Once at the top, Rafiki lifted the cub with both hands and presented it to the animals, who cheered and showed their joy. All the animals greeted the newborn lion cub, which was more than frightened by the crowd of animals, as a bright beam of light broke out of the clouds. This pointed to Rafiki and the lion cub.

The animals saw it and bowed to the lion cub that was no ordinary lion cub. No, it was a prince. Thus, Mufasa was the king and was respected by the animals as such. As the song ended, the camera moved away and the rock was seen, as well as the animals and the title of the film.
THE
LION KING
Stand on a black screen before it went black again. And it stayed black, which confused Alicia. Normally it would continue with the part where Scar appears and wants to eat the mouse before Zazu disturbs him and asks him why he didn't show up for the ceremony. But instead Alicia saw only a black screen. And that for 10 minutes. She had already tried several things. Checked if it continues and only the sound and the image are missing, went out of the movie and restarted it, went out of the streaming service and restarted it. She has also already turned off the TV and turned on. But unfortunately the black screen still remained.
Great. That's exactly what she didn't want. Not after a hard day at the university. She just wanted to watch the movie and not spoil her evening. But the film did not go on now she was very annoyed. But she knew who could help her. Her brother John. He knew technical stuff and had already helped her several times. It was probably because he and Alicia had to worry about themselves from an early age because their parents were rarely there.
It was clear that he was studying to be an engineer. But unlike Alicia, he went to a community college near her home. Alicia's college, however, was two hours away from her home, which is why she was rarely home. But she could contact each other by phone whenever she was not in class or lecture. Only she hadn't left her smartphone in the living room but in the kitchen. It lay on the table and literally grinned at her. "Then let's-" she was about to get up when she noticed something in the corner of her eye on her TV. Slowly she turned around to the TV, which now showed a blue screen instead of a black one. This was the one you always saw when you took a VHS tape out of the VHS player or played it backwards at the fastest speed. At least that was always the case with her VHS player.
However, it was strange to see that on her Smart TV. She didn't know what to say about it. Actually, she wanted to get up and go to the kitchen to get her smartphone, but her legs disagreed and went to the screen of the TV. She didn't know why but she was very attracted to the blue screen and couldn't help but touch it with her hand. Her hand slowly wandered toward the screen. The finger almost touched the screen when it changed and was no longer solid but became liquid like water. What the- Before she could say anything, her hand disappeared into the screen. "What's going on here?!" she asked herself as she tried to pull her hand out of the TV. But instead, something pulled her into the TV. She tried to fight it. No not again! She had been through this before and didn't want to have another experience like that. Especially because she owed it to a certain person.
But no matter how hard she tried whatever was reaching for her was stronger and she was pulled into the TV. While this was happening Alicia screamed and the screen went black again before it went on again and a small mouse was seen. But Alicia was somewhere else entirely. She was lying on a kind of platform that was made of glass and had water on it. However, the water was not too deep that she drowned in it. No, she was not in danger of drowning from the water. But she felt it and was confused. Why was she here? She asked herself as she looked around. The place had no real light source except for the cone of light that was above her, shining on the platform she was now looking at as she stood up. "Is that...glass?" Alicia asked herself as she walked around the platform and heard the sound of walking on glass. She bent down and touched it. As she did, the platform began to change. It glowed and that scared Alicia. So much so that she landed on her butt on the floor but didn't get wet. She was relieved because she was wearing only her pajamas and nothing else.
Slowly she stood up again and the glow disappeared, showing an illustration. "Wait what?" Alicia looked at the illustration more closely. It closely resembled The Station of Serenity from Kingdom Hearts. Alicia took the position of Sora only she wasn't holding a key blade in her hands and in the circles where normally Riku, Kairi, Donald and Goofy would be in was her grandmother, her brother and both of her parents. "What is this?" she asked herself and looked around. Unfortunately, she saw no one far and wide who could answer her question.
She was alone which worried her a lot. "Okay, Alicia, calm down, it's not real, it's just a dream, nothing more!" she said to herself to calm down. She had to think about what happened before she ended up here. "I wanted to watch the movie after I got home from college, everything was going fine until the screen went black and I wanted to call John but the screen suddenly turned blue and the TV swallowed my hand and something pulled at me and I ended up in the TV". She didn't want to believe it but it wasn't the first time. But the question now remains open where she was exactly? She had Kingdom Hearts Final Mix II on her Playstation, but she was watching the movie on her TV and not on her console. So she could rule that out. Just like the fact that fog suddenly appeared around her. She looked around but saw nowhere the origin of the fog until she heard a loud roar and twitched. She turned around and saw something coming out of the fog. Or rather, the mist formed itself into a lioness.
Seriously Brother Bear? She just had to think of the scene where Kenai meets the Great Spirits and his dead brother Sitka. Anyway, it explains why the lioness looked like the Great Spirits. Only, unlike the Great Spirits, the lioness seemed to growl at Alicia, which made Alicia panic. That is why she ran away without hesitation while the lioness chased her. The distance between Alicia and the lioness became more and more distant, but Alicia noticed that the platform was not getting smaller but spreading out. Damn it, why is the platform getting bigger and bigger?! Alicia wanted to escape. But where to? She asked herself as she reached the end of the platform and looked down into the depths. She couldn't see the ground and didn't want to know what would happen if she fell.
Even more, the lioness approached her slowly. Alicia noticed and turned around to face her. She could not escape. She knew that, so she let the lioness catch her. There was no other way. The lioness roared again before she took a running start and ran towards Alicia. The lioness approached her. Alicia saw it and panic rose in her. She could not escape. That's why she closed her eyes. She didn't want to see the lioness jumping towards her. The lioness jumped at the moment when Alicia closed her eyes and...going through her? No wait what? The lioness disappeared into Alicia and from her back fled a wolf, a wyvern and a phoenix. Something was wrong and Alicia knew it.
Slowly she opened her eyes and saw that she was alone again. The lioness was gone. This confused her very much. She was about to say something when she suddenly realized that her right hand was shaking. Alicia looked at it and saw that it was slowly changing into a lion's paw. "What the!". Not only did her hands and feet slowly take on the shape of a lion's paw, but Alicia's body in general seemed to change. Her body slowly took the shape of a lion cub. Her pajamas disappeared and an ashen brown-gray fur appeared over her skin and clothing. The belly, muzzle, and toes were a bone-brown tone while the tuft at the tip of her tail took on a cold gray tone.
Her nose was black while her sclera was yellow and her right eye was blue and the left was green. Around her neck, however, Alicia wore her necklace. She was generally confused about what happened to her and looked into the reflection of the water in which she saw herself. Was she scared about suddenly being a lion cub? Yes, she was. She let out a roar that didn't sound as threatening as that of an adult lion. It was more like a bad-tempered cat that had just been to the vet or needed to be washed.
"Why do I look like Sora in his lion form?" wondered Alicia as she looked back into the reflection. She couldn't believe it so she touched herself in the face with her right paw. Yes, she felt it. Alicia sat down and looked around. But there was no one there but her. She sighed and lowered her head while a tear slowly ran down from her eye and fell into the water that was on the glass platform.
As it merged with the water, the platform began to glow and change. Alicia saw it and closed her eyes so as not to be blinded by the bright light. Instead of the Station of Serenity, the image now showed Alicia as a lion cub traveling with two other lion cubs, which, unlike Alicia, could only be seen as black outlines. Alicia was about to open her mouth when suddenly it became windy. A bit too windy because Alicia, who was now standing on all fours, almost couldn't hold on to the strong wind that pushed her onto the platform.
She noticed this and used her claws to hold onto the glass platform. But her claws were not strong enough to drill through the platform. "Oh no no" Alicia said softly to herself as she tried to hold on but it was useless. The wind was too strong but Alicia did not want to give up. She got up and ran away to avoid being blown away by the wind. But unfortunately she had problems with it because she was on four feet or rather paws and flew several times.
When she stood up, however, she noticed that besides the still strong wind, it was also thundering and lightning could be seen. Alicia was confused about this. She was also confused when she saw a tornado slowly forming on the other end of the platform, which had two pairs of arms and red glowing eyes with no pupils. "You're not serious now, are you?" unfortunately, it wasn't the case as the tornado was now getting bigger. Alicia's ears dropped as she saw one arm of the tornado move over her and suck her in.
Alicia, however, still tried to hold on to the ground with her claws. But the tornado was stronger and Alicia flew into it while screaming for help and everything around her went dark and her vision slowly dimmed.
If there are any questions regarding Alicia you are welcome to ask me.
