The sun had started to rise as a soft breeze went through the Pride Lands. Animals lifted their heads before heading towards pride rock.

Royal Mjuzi Rafiki stood on the peak of pride rock calling the animals with a spiritual chant.

Ubukhosi bo khokho

We ndodana ye sizwe sonke

Rafiki looked up and smiled at the image of Taka in the sun. The ghostly brown lion smiled down at the mandrill and watched Eshe and Mheetu approach.

The light brown pelted queen held a light beige furred infant cub in her mouth. Rafiki bowed before grabbing the cub and raised her for the kingdom.

Taka smiled brightly down at the princess. The cub swatted at the features and dust that her grandfather sent blowing her way. Eshe looked up from her subjects and smiled at the sight of her father above.

The ghostly brown lion smiled lovingly at his daughter as he sent a breeze the queen's direction. Eshe leaned into the breeze as it felt like a loving embrace.

Opening her green eyes she let the tears fall. Eshe moved her eyes to her daughter and silently promised no harm will come to her or Jashua.

...

As Eshe and Mheetu nuzzled their newest cub the animals all cheered for their princess.

The light beige princess struggles playfully in the mandrill's grip. After much cheering from the crowd, Rafiki lowers the cub where she was nuzzled by Mheetu and Eshe.

Standing nearby was Queen Eshe's former guardians while she was away in false exile, Timon and Pumbaa. The two were away back at their oasis during the duration of the past couple of months. Only returning to see that their adopted daughter has new cub about to be presented.

In the mess of things containing the presentation, no one got to tell the two about the new royal cub. Of to side was Sarabi and Sarafina who had Jashua with them during the presentation.

"Ah, Pumbaa-look at the little guy. And you gotta know who's gonna raise 'im..." exclaimed the pale brown meerkat from a top of the red warthog's head.

"His parents?" the warthog simply answered.

Timon rolled his hazel eyes. "Okay sure, get technical. But who's gonna teach him the really important stuff? Like how to belch?" as on cue the meerkat burped. "And dig for grubs?" Timon hops down from Pumbaa's head. "I'm telling ya, buddy... it's gonna be like old times. You, me... and the little guy."

The pair wasn't aware that everyone, even Sãhasí was looking at the two in amusement until Rafiki got their attention, chuckling while still holding on to the gummy smiling princess.

"It is a girl." Rafiki finally said.

"...Girl."

Then Timon and Pumbaa's eyes widened as they stared at one another in horror. "Girl?! ...Oy!"

~TLk~

A blue and black beatle lands on the cracked ground of the Outlands, with a small growl a dark brown cub with a small backwards dark brown tuff on her head pounced.

"Rrrah!"

The dark brown cub opened her tannish paws to reveal the insect, she smiles and opens her paws, releasing it to fly away.

"Sherise!" Chumvi who was supervising growled. He snatched the fluttering insect from the air and smashed it to the ground. Before striking his sister across her side. "Don't let it go. What's the matter with you?"

The cub tucked her paws under her and looked up with teary eyes, more from the pain. She could never show that she's hurting it's a sign of weakness. "B-but it wasn't hurting anyone.."

The angry dark brown lion growled, baring his teeth. Sherise flattened her ears as her brother circled her like prey. "There is no room for weakness here, sister. Remember... our father may have named me his heir. But it's up to you and the rest of our siblings to redeem him." Chumvi had moved close and pulled the shaken cub against him. Even though the cub heard it a million times she still seem doubtful.

"But.. what if I don't wanna hurt anyone? "

Chumvi growled. "You're reluctant now but when we shall no longer be forced to live in these dry, barren, disgusting, pathetic, termite-infested Outlands!" he striked at the ground.

Sherise looks down, in quiet agreement.

"Chumvi! Chumvi! Chumvi!"

The dark brown lion groaned before looking to the source to see a young tan lion with a small reddish mane and a dark gold cub run over. They were speaking over one another, trying to get the first word in.

The tan teen sat with his head high. "We were there- in the Pride Lands. We saw the whole thing!"

After catching his breath the dark gold cub added his half. "At Pride Rock. We saw everything!"

Then they both reported to their brother. "We saw Eshe's new cub!"

The dark brown lion's orange eyes widened before he turned his attention on his youngest brother. "What? Simba- what did you see?"

Simba raised his head and reported what he seen. "Eshe and Mheetu's new cub is a girl!"

The dark brown, dark red mane lion laughed. "Father,... did you hear that? This couldn't be more perfect!"

Simba rolled his orange eyes. "Not again, he's talking to himself."

Sherise narrowed her purple eyes that she inherited from her paternal grandmother. "Shhh! You know how he gets, let him be."

A gold lioness, who sat on the side rolled her green eyes. Kenna was chosen by Chumvi to be his mate, it wasn't a choice matter either.

Kenna knew when her mate went in his rants someone gets hurt. With a deep breath, she walked over perfectly aware of her mate's temper.

"Love. I think we should go for a hunt. You been training poor Sherise long enough for today."

Chumvi sneered, but knew that his mate was right. "Fine." he then turned his orange eyes to his father's middle son. "Vitani, watch our brother and sister!"

Vitani nodded his affirmation before he watched as his brother walk away with his sister-in-law and a few pride members following.
