The Jade Princess

At the Jade Palace, Melissa and Lloyd look around, seeing Princess Harumi's room trashed as they then turn to the balcony, which they rushed to it as they searched around before seeing a green hooded figure on the roof with a life-size sack.

"He's got the Princess!" Lloyd said in shock.

"We need to go after him!" Melissa said with determination.

"But what about the mask?" Lloyd asked.

"It'll be safe, let's just move!" Melissa said as Lloyd nodded as the two put on their masks and parkour across the roof and out to the outer walls as they chased after the thief as they hid for a moment before giving chase as the two Ninjas jumped from roof to roof as they searched around, before seeing the thief at a distance.

The two kept jumping from the roof before they saw the thief ahead as they ran towards him, but stopped when they saw a huge gap between them. "You've gotta be kidding me." Lloyd muttered.

"It's just a hop, skip and a jump, Lloyd." Melissa said as she used the laundry lines to get across the gap before landing on the roof across the building as she gestured to Lloyd to follow after her.

Lloyd nodded as he jumped after Melissa similar to how she did, but when he caught the ladder, it broke off, leaving Lloyd to hang by the building as he gave a yell. "Lloyd!" Melissa exclaimed as she rushed over to her boyfriend and grabbed his arm and tried to pull him up.

Lloyd was about to lose his grip only for the thief to grab Lloyd's other arm and help Melissa pull him up as they brought him to the roof as the two Ninjas saw it was the thief as they gave a stance. "Who are you?" Lloyd questioned as the thief removed his hood, revealing it to be Harumi, with her hair done in a bun.

"Princess?" Melissa asked in surprise as she and Lloyd removed their hoods. "We thought you were kidnapped."

"Yeah, we were gonna save you." Lloyd added.

"Is that what that was?" Harumi asked in amusement. "From my vantage it looked like I was the one who helped her save you."

Melissa gave a giggle from that. "She's gotcha there, Lloyd." She said in amusement while Lloyd gave an embarrassing look before looking at the bag.

"Then who's in the bag?" Lloyd asked.

"You mean what's in the bag." Harumi corrected as she opened up her bag, revealing it to be filled with food. "Food for the less fortunate. Even though I'm confined to the palace, I still try to give what I can."

"That's, actually pretty sweet." Melissa said with a smile.

"But your bedroom, it was ransacked." Lloyd stated about Harumi's room condition.

"Yes, I can be quite the slob, thank you for pointing that out." Harumi said in amusement.

Melissa gave a look to Lloyd before elbowing him, making him grunt. "I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean--" Lloyd tried to say.

"The Princess is gone!" Hutchins yelled out as the three turned to the palace where they saw Hutchins on the balcony balcony. "Find her!"

"They can't know I left the palace." Harumi said as she quickly grabbed two coats from a laundry line. "You both have to disguise yourselves. Hurry." She said as she gave the coats to the two Ninjas.

After putting the coats over their Ninja Gis, they jumped down the roof and went into the street as they blended in with the other population.

At the river village part of Ninjago City, Melissa, Lloyd, and Harumi are walking by the street where there were many homelessness around, sitting by on walls or corners while others try to stay warm with fire in the barrels as Harumi walked up to a poor mother and daughter and gave them some food.

"Some things are easier to do when you're not a Princess." Harumi said to them as they kept walking. "If I asked my parents, they would never allow it. But these people are hungry, and we have so much food in the palace." She said as she settled the bag down and grabbed some food, with the two Ninjas helping as kids gathered around them, asking for food as the three gave some portions. "Patience, little ones. There's enough for each of you." She said as they gave the last of the food to them as they continued walking.

"It is kinda sad to see all these people without homes." Melissa said, feeling sorry for those who either lost their homes or have no homes.

"There are lives that even the Ninja can't change." Harumi said in sympathy as the two Ninjas looked at each other with frowns, knowing that is true since they can't always help everybody.

"Can I ask you a question?" Lloyd asked as Harumi nodded. "Do you enjoy being a Princess?"

"Actually, I've been wondering about that myself." Melissa said in agreement. "So, what's it like?"

"Everyone thinks being a Princess is supposed to be easy and wonderful, and I guess it's okay." Harumi said with a shrug as they kept walking. "But a lot of time, it's really hard."

"We get that." Melissa said with a sigh while Lloyd nodded. "But not being a Princess, I meant Lloyd and I being the Green and Purple Ninjas." She corrected as they stopped at a bridge as Harumi removed her hood.

"We have to live up to a role that was bestowed upon us." Harumi said to them as they looked down at the river. "We never chose these mantles we hold.

"We know." Lloyd said while Melissa nodded. "It's hard to live a normal life. But at least we get to wear masks."

"But, you, Harumi." Melissa started, while she was out in public.

"I wear my own masks." Harumi assured them with a smile. "Sometimes painted, sometimes a kidnapper of Princesses!" She joked while putting her hood on and gave an evil laugh, which caused the two Ninjas to chuckle as Harumi removed her hood.

"Technically it was our first day." Lloyd said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, and we were pretty quick." Melissa added as Harumi gave a small smile before they heard glass breaking and indistinct chatter and laughter as they turned and saw a biker gang bullying a group of poor kids as Harumi quickly put on her hood as the three walked closely.

"We must leave." Harumi said to the two Ninja.

"No, Harumi. These people have enough to worry about." Melissa said with a look at the bikers. "And if there's one type of criminal that I hate, it's thugs who mess with kids."

"Yeah. They shouldn't have to be bullied by low level street thugs." Lloyd said in agreement as they were about to help, but Harumi caught their arms.

"Don't. If either of you try to stop them, you'll reveal us." Harumi said as the two Ninjas realized she was right as they watched the bikers bully the kids, but then Lloyd saw the S.O.G. logo spray painted on their back, making him gasped. "What's wrong?"

"Those thugs, they are from the Sons of Garmadon." Melissa said seriously after seeing the symbol as well.

"They are wearing the same symbol we saw before." Lloyd confirmed as he looked down in thought. "Garmadon was my father." He said to Harumi as Melissa rubbed his back in comfort.

"Lloyd, I think it's time we get some answers." Melissa said as she and Lloyd were about to go after them before Harumi grabbed them again.

"You said it yourselves. They are only low-level thugs." Harumi said to them. "They don't know anything. They only take orders. It's the person who gives them that scares me." She said in worry.

Lloyd and Melissa looked at each other before they sighed. "She's right, Lloyd." She said with a nod.

"But we have to do something." Lloyd said, but then they heard an engine revving as they turned and saw Samurai X's vehicle riding by as he parked his vehicle in front of the goons.

"Or you two can let Samurai X handle it." Harumi commented as Samurai X jumped out and faced the bikers.

"Step away from the pedestrians." Samurai X said as he drew his sword and stood ready.

"Aw hell, it's Samurai X. Let's split." The biker with red hair said as they scattered as Samurai X placed his sword away as the crowd cheered him on.

"It's good to know the Ninja aren't the only ones protecting Ninjago." Lloyd said with a small smile.

"It's always good to have more heroes around." Melissa added with a smile as well.

"Remember kids, look out for one another and stay safe." Samurai X said to them as he hopped into his vehicle and drove off.

"Do you two know who Samurai X is?" Harumi asked.

"We wish we knew." Lloyd said to her.

"He did help us with the Hands of Time and the Vermilion, but other than that no." Melissa said, shaking her head. "Although I do have to give him credit for helping us get our friend Pixal back online."

"Your friend was offline?" Harumi asked in surprise.

"She was offline when Zane was damaged when the Vermillion Warriors first attacked." Melissa explained. "And another thing, unlike how Nya did as Samurai X, he's more focused on helping others than trying to showboat us Ninjas." She said before showing a dull look. "Because when Nya was Samurai X and the Ninja were trying to find out who she was it caused Lloyd to get kidnapped by the Serpentine, who were our enemies at that time."

"You were captured by the Serpentines?" Harumi asked in surprise as Lloyd gave a sheepish smile.

"Melissa and I weren't Ninjas at the time, so, yeah." Lloyd said with a sheepish smile before he changed the subject. "Anyway, Princess--"

"Please." Harumi said as she removed her hood. "Call me, Rumi." She said with a smile.

"Um, okay then, Rumi." Lloyd said with a shrug while Melissa raised a brow at Harumi giving a nickname. "We should get you home."

"Yes, you should be home, your highness." Hutchins spoke up as the three turned and saw him walking up to them with a firm look.

"Ah, Hutchins." Harumi said in surprise.

"May I ask what you're doing outside the palace?" Hutchins questioned with a stink eye.

"It's okay, Hutchins." Melissa said, stepping forward. "Harumi and us were just taking a walk."

"Harumi? A walk?" Hutchins questioned in shock.

"It was my idea." Harumi said. "Please, don't be angry with Lloyd and Melissa."

"It's troubling to see you three are on a first-name basis." Hutchins said with a sigh. "The streets are not safe at night, your highness. I must insist you return with me at once." He said as he held Harumi's arm as they walked off while Lloyd and Melissa watched as Hutchins gave them a small smirk before turning around.

"Okay, I am getting so many red flags from him." Melissa said with a suspicious look.

"Ditto." Lloyd nodded with a suspicious look as well, feeling off about Hutchins.

The next day, the Ninja were all outside at the palace training courtyard as the Ninja all trained together to keep up their skills while sparring with one another. "And then he basically dragged her away, a little forcefully might I add." Lloyd said, explaining what happened the night before.

"Yeah, me and Nya did see him walking around in the middle of the night last night." Kai said while sparring with Zane. "He was acting a little bit off."

"And you three out on a moonlight walk, sharing food. Sounds like you two were having a date with Harumi as a third wheel." Cole teased with a smirk while Lloyd avoided his hammer strikes.

"It did feel like it, although it was a little awkward with the Princess with us." Lloyd admitted.

"Yeah it did." Melissa said as she sparred with Nya and Jay. "Although, Harumi letting Lloyd call her Rumi felt a little… Off for me."

"Sounds like someone is a bit jealous." Nya said with a smirk as Melissa blocked a strike.

"I was not jealous." Melissa said with a brow. "I just find it a bit weird."

"Jealous. Feeling or showing envy of someone or their achievements and advantages." Zane said as he avoided Kai's strikes.

"Hehe, you can't argue with a Nindroid." Jay commented with a chuckle.

Lloyd rolled his eyes at Jay. "Well I am not planning on pulling a Nya on Melissa anytime soon, or ever." He said with a look.

Nya stopped when she heard. "Pulling a Nya? You made me into a verb?" She questioned.

"Yeah, we did." Lloyd said with a smirk.

"Yep, sis." Kai said with a smirk.

"Wait, you all knew about it?" Nya questioned with a brow at the others. "How long have you guys been calling it that?"

"How long have you been Nya?" Cole teased as they all shared a laugh as Nya gave a groan.

"Who the fuck made me into a verb anyway?!" Nya asked with a look.

The boys all looked silent before they all pointed to Melissa, who gave a proud smirk from that. "Guilty." Melissa said with a shrug.

"Of course you did." Nya said with a dull look.

"You are the most stubborn woman I've ever known, Nya." Melissa said with amusement.

"I was not that stubborn." Nya defended herself.

Melissa gave her a 'really' look before looking at the others. "Boys, list down all the times Nya has been stubborn." She told him.

"The time when you went out to fight the Skulkin, which resulted in you being captured." Kai started.

"The time you were showboating us as Samurai X which caused Lloyd to be kidnapped by Pythor." Cole added.

"The time when you tried to cheat on Jay after the whole Perfect Match thing." Zane added.

"And lying to me and not telling me about it during the whole Sky Pirate incident." Jay added with a frown.

"And let's not forget about last year and what you did when there was a new Samurai X in town." Lloyd finished.

"Yeah, no offense Nya, but that stubbornness of yours is gonna be the end of you one day." Melissa said with a brow. "We had notes. And don't even forget about the Tiger Widow poison and when you were being a gigantic bitch to Jay for using his wishes when it was your fault for leaving him alone in the first place."

Nya flinched at those reminders as she gave a sheepish chuckle. "Okay, you made your points." She said while rubbing her head.

"I rest my case." Melissa said with a smirk before frowning. "But still, I am not jealous of Harumi."

"If you say so." Jay said with a smirk.

"But hey, you gotta admit, she does have guts to get out of the palace walls on her own." Kai said as he did Spinjitzu at Zane, who dodged them.

"Yeah, that was pretty clever." Melissa admitted with a nod.

"And from what you told us, she does have great agility." Zane added as he dodged Kai's Spinjitzu, who stopped as he took a breather. "She must've taught herself self defense." He said as he fired an arrow at Kai, knocking him down.

"Well I did see a dojo while touring the palace." Melissa said as she blocked Nya's attack. "She is a clever gal, and I do have to admit she does look cute without her makeup on." She admitted as she saw the others giving her a questionable look. "What? You all know that I'm bisexual."

"Oh, right." Lloyd said with a sheepish look as the others chatted in understanding.

"Yeah, she's tough, but not as tough as us. You know, flex muscles, break things." Cole said as he summoned his Earth Punch, which also had his old scar glowing on his forehead as he did Spinjitzu and knocked down a pillar as he stopped and wiped his brow.

"Pfft, I bet she doesn't laugh." Jay said as he sparred with Nya and Melissa. "Just ask Nya. She couldn't resist my sense of humor." He bragged before Nya whacked him down as he gave a yelp.

"It's an acquired taste." Nya said with a small shrug.

"You do have a weird taste in men, Nya, just don't go cheating again." Melissa said as she then leg sweeped Nya which made her fall to the ground.

"Are you ever gonna let me live it down?" Nya asked with a look.

"Mmm…" Melissa hummed a bit for a moment. "It's getting to the point it's getting old, but not there yet." She said before smirking. "Your stubbornness on the other hand…"

"Okay, okay, I get it." Nya said with a dull look.

"Anyway, Melissa and I can tell that despite being tough, we can tell that Harumi is having it a bit rough." Lloyd said.

"What makes you say that? I bet being a Princess is a dream come true for any girl." Kai said with a smirk as he spaced with Zane again.

"I don't care about being a Princess." Melissa said. "And Harumi doesn't think so either."

"Yeah, I don't like being a Princess either, especially after what you did that one time we all played Truth or Dare, Melissa." Nya said, giving her a look.

"Hey, those were the rules." Melissa said with a look back. "Be grateful it was the only thing I did before you crossed a line at the end. Seriously, who reads one diary?"

"Yeah, that one I take full blame for." Nya said with a sheepish and guilty look.

"Though, the aftermath was a bit funny, and terrifying." Cole said with a small cringe look.

"And painful and humiliating." Nya said while rubbing her arm.

"In any case, Harumi seems a bit uncertain about being a Princess." Melissa said in concern. "Lloyd, how about you and I go check on her? After what happened last night, I had a hunch that Hutchins told the Emperor and Empress."

"Yeah, good idea." Lloyd said as he and Melissa went off to go check on Harumi leaving the others behind.

"So, Melissa is jealous of Harumi, right?" Jay asked the others, who gave teasing smirks.

At the hallways, Lloyd and Melissa were walking down the halls before they heard the emperor's voice. "What were you thinking, Harumi?" He asked as the Ninjas of Yin and Yang turned and saw Harumi being scolded by her parents.

"You are a member of the Royal Family of Ninjago." The Empress added.

"You can't just go gallivanting off with two Ninjas whenever you want." The Emperor added. "It's undignified."

"Not to mention dangerous." The Empress added as Harumi walked forward and covered her eyes.

"But they're not just Ninjas--" Harumi tried to say.

"You are royalty. They are not." The Emperor cut her off.

"I'm sorry. I have dishonored our name and our house." Harumi said in sadness with her head down.

"No, Harumi." The Emperor said softly while placing a hand on her shoulder. "We're sorry. We all have a role to play. And yours is in this palace. Your heart mustn't interfere." He added as Harumi sobbed and rushed off, before seeing Melissa and Lloyd, who gasped before she cried as she ran off to her room.

"Rumi…" Lloyd said in concern as he and Melissa gave sympathetic looks.

"Damn, talk about strict parents." Melissa said, feeling sorry for the poor Princess.

"Yeah, no kidding." Lloyd said in agreement.

Hutchins then came up behind them, which surprised the two Ninjas. "If you both know what's good for you, stay away from her." He said firmly to them as he walked up to the two royals as Nya came up behind them.

"What happened?" Nya asked them about what just happened.

"Melissa and I can be ourselves, but not everyone can be so lucky." Lloyd said in concern.

"And it also confirms that Harumi hates being a Princess." Melissa said as she and Lloyd gave a sympathetic look.

Somewhere in Ninjago City in a theater, a couple of S.O.G. goons enter the theater as they saw only one girl laughing crazy at a move of Fritz Donnegan.

"Hey, is that her?" The mohawk one asked.

"Who else could it be?" The helmet goon questioned with a shrug.

"I hear she's crazy." The mohawk goon said again.

"Don't ever let her hear you say that." The helmet goon warned. "If she hears you call her crazy, she'll go crazy."

"Then stop saying it." The Mohawk goon said as the girl shushed and they quieted down, "I heard she jumped out of a two story building just because she didn't wanna take the stairs. He whispered.

"I heard she dragged a guy by her bike for two miles just because he was looking at it the wrong way." The helmet goon whispered in fright.

The girl then raised a three-bladed dagger, "If you two don't be quiet!" She warned, swinging the dagger, "I have ways of shutting you up."

The two goons backed away, "Uh, s-sorry, Ms. Violet." The helmet goon apologized, "But Mr. E requested we get you."

"Yeah, yeah s-something big is going down at--." the Mohawk goon explained.

The girl seemed interested, "Oh, is there going to be a fight?" She asked, grazing her dagger against her cheek.

"Oh yeah, Ms. Violet ." The Helmet goon confirmed nervously, "And, maybe an explosion or two." He added while twiddling his thumbs.

"It's not Ms. Violet," The girl said before turning around to show she had stone gray skin, a white painted skull, and a scar on her right cheek, "It's ULTRA Violet!" She declared as she let out an insane laugh and her eyebrow twitched.

Back at the Palace at sunset, Kai was patrolling outside the castle gates, before he heard shouting, "Hey stop right there!" A guard shouted as Kai looked down and saw two guards holding the Mailman spear point.

The Mailman held up his hand, "H-Hey! I'm just trying to deliver mail." He explained frantically.

"It's okay guys! I know him!" Kai called as the guards looked up at him, "Sorry, no one goes into the palace, but I could deliver it to them." Kai offered to the Mailman.

The Mailman smiled, "Thanks," he said before giving the letters to a guard, "See you in the next

Season." He waved to Kai.

"Season?" Kai asked in confusion.

"Yeah, you know, fall, spring, summer, whatever." The Mailman said as left the Palace grounds and the guards looked up to Kai in confusion as he simply shrugged.

Outside, Cole was climbing to the tallest point of the castle as Cole panted a bit before he looked up. Cole then remembered a time when he climbed a great height only to find someone else at the top.

Sometime ago before the Ninja was formed, Cole was climbing the tallest mountain in Ninjago as he made it to the top before he looked in shock at seeing an old man in white sitting there and drinking tea, it was Master Wu. "Hello there." He said with a small smile.

Cole looked in surprise as he saw Wu continue to drink his tea. "How did you- Who are you?" He asked, confused who he was and how he got up here when he didn't even see him on the way or heard there was someone else on the mountain.

"Maybe that is a question for me to ask." Wu said in amusement while Cole looked confused. "But first, why do you climb the mountain?" He asked.

"I… just lost someone," Cole said slowly while looking away. "My father should be sad or angry, but he's just, he's-"

"Yes?" Wu said for him to continue on.

"He spends all his time with this group, singing and dancing." Cole continued. "He's never home, leaving all the chores for me. With her gone, I guess it's up to me to be the responsible one." He stated as he crossed his arms. "He acts like nothing's happened. How can he sing and dance at a time like this?" He questioned.

Wu sighed and closed his eyes, "Grief takes many shapes and forms. Some sing and Dance," He mused before looking to Cole, "Some, climb mountains." He said amusedly.

Cole was taken aback by this and looked at Wu, "Why did you climb the mountain?" He asked.

Wu then gave a serious face and looked at Cole, "To find you, Cole." He answered.

Cole made it to the top as he looked up at the sky at the memory of Wu. "And I'll find you, Master." He promised with his eyes closed before he looked down and saw Hutchins behind some boulders as he lowered down and saw him opening a secret passage as he entered it as he rushed down after him.

Cole then tried to follow Hutchins, but he saw many passages before a light at the end of the one on the left before he saw bottles of bubbling yellow substances, which his eyes widened in horror.

"Blast-Zap." Cole said in horror as he went to his comlink. "Guys, we've got a big problem."

"Blast-Zap--There's Blast-Zap-- I saw a--" Lloyd and Melissa were patrolling the hallways as they got Cole's words, but there was static.

"We can't tell what you're saying, Cole." Melissa said through the coms.

"Yeah, you have a bad signal." Lloyd added.

Cole saw the Blast-Zaps about to blow as he quickly made his way to the exit. "We gotta get everyone out of here." He said to them.

"The whole palace is rigged to explode. It was Hutchins." Cole spoke as the team's eyes widened in horror while Kai and Nya were outside.

"We have to get the Royal Family out of here!" Kai exclaimed as the two rushed up the the gates, but then it exploded, causing them to stop and were pushed back to the ground as the front gate behind them exploded, causing the bikers to get in as the thief who stole the Mask of Vengeance road to a skid while hearing a banshee scream as Ultra Violet road in on her bike and landed in front of the other bikers.

"What a beautiful night for a little mayhem!" Ultra Violet said as she gave an evil laugh at the two Ninja.

Kai and Nya got up as Ultra Violet drove around them, knocking them down again as she spun around before Kai stood up and drew his sword as he charged at Ultra, but the crazy lady grabbed him with her legs as she spun him around on her bike.

"I didn't even get your…" Kai choked while disturbed being held by a woman, who wasn't Skylor, between her legs before he was thrown to the stairs, "...Name." He moaned before collapsing.

"Let's leave the boys out of this. Hmm?" Nya taunted as she drew her spear and charged at Ultra Violet, who rode her bike around, using the dust to blind her before knocking her back as she and the other bikers stormed the palace as the guards then jumped into action.

Melissa and Lloyd saw the chaos as they managed to fight off a couple of the bikers, but they turned and saw Hutchins running behind them before they caught him. "You did this! You helped them!" Lloyd shouted as the two pinned him to a wall.

"I had nothing to do with this!" Hutchins told him.

"Bullshit, you have been acting suspicious since we got here!" Melissa said with a glare. "Not only that but Cole saw you enter a passageway underneath the palace with the Blast-Zap!"

"Whatever your friend saw, it wasn't me!" Hutchins told them. "I have served this palace for the better part of my life and have sworn to protect the royal family." He said before Ultra Violet's scream was heard. "Watch out!" He called as he tackled the two Ninjas down as they avoided a sai that nearly stabbed them.

"You save us." Lloyd said as he and Melissa looked at Hutchins in surprise, seeing that he wasn't the one behind this.

"But I thought you were hiding something." Melissa said in shock.

"I wasn't, if anything I thought it was you Ninja who were the ones planning something." Hutchins honestly said before they heard screaming as Ultra Violet came driving by, which they avoided as Melissa and Lloyd brought out their weapons, but they were flipped down. "Does anyone have eyes on the Princess?!" He called out while avoiding Ultra Violet.

Zane was rushing down the hallways as he entered Harumi's room, which was in rumble before he did a scan and caught Harumi's cough as he found her and got her out of the rumble. "Come with me, Princess." Zane said as he offered his hand, which Harumi accepted as he helped her up. "We need to get you out of here." He said as they rushed off.

Hutchins and the Ninjas of Yin and Yang are still fighting Ultra Violet, but they keep avoiding her motorcycle. "This bitch is insane!" Melissa exclaimed.

"Why, thank you!" Ultra Violet called with a smirk.

"That wasn't a compliment!" Melissa yelled out as Lloyd tackled her out of her bike as they tumbled on the floor as Ultra Violet stood up and pulled her sai out of the wall and went to Hutchins with a yell, but before she could stab him, Zane did Spinjitzu and pulled her in, freezing her as she was frozen solid and hit a wall as her ice cracked a bit.

Melissa, Lloyd, and Hutchins stood up. "Thanks, Zane." Melissa said as she approached him.

"You're welcome." Zane nodded.

"You're okay." Lloyd said to Harumi.

"But what about the mask?" Harumi asked in fear.

"Shit, we forgot about the mask." Melissa said with a worried look.

With the red-eyed biker, he was driving his bike across the palace before he slid it to the ground and he jumped off it as he faced Jay, who was at where the fake mask is displayed.

"Whoever you are, you should've brought more help." Jay taunted as Cole, Kai, and Nya appeared beside them.

"Hands in the air," Kai ordered as the four Ninja closed in on him with their weapons drawn.

The red eye biker reached behind, pulled out a familiar red mask, and pointed to it tauntingly. Which made Jay gasp. "The Mask of Vengeance!" He called out.

The red eye biker put on the mask as some fire burst out from the eyes as the biker shook around as he felt his body changing as bone-white horns grew from his head and he stood up holding four red katanas in four arms.

Jay looked unsurprised by that. "Really? Four arms? Psh. Like that's new." He sarcastically said as they took a ready stance.

The four armed leaders then charged at the Ninja as they clashed weapons, which got the Ninja off guard as they were knocked down by his surprise agility. Cole slammed his hammer down, creating a dust shockwave, which the leader swiped away as Nya and Kai used their powers on him, but he was unfazed as both elements collided and evaporated, much to their frustration.

Jay then spun his chucks as electricity started forming around them as he shot at the biker, which his swords absorbed. "Can't any of us stop him?!" He questioned.

Then the biker swung his swords out, releasing a shock wave that knocked the Ninja off their feet. With the Ninja, down the biker moved to the Mask's case, sliced it apart and took the mask.

Kai thought fast and used his powers to control a flame and launch it at the leader, which hit the mask as it burned to ashes, much to everyone's shock. "Fuck." Kai cursed with a cringe.

"Uh, I think my brother just destroyed the Mask of Deception." Nya said with a sheepish look.

With Hutchins, Harumi, Zane, Melissa, and Lloyd, they were at the throne room while Zane held the door closed as they looked in shock at what Nya just said to them. "What?" Lloyd asked in shock.

"The Mask is destroyed?!" Melissa exclaimed in shock.

"That was a fake." Hutchins revealed. "I procured the real one from the vaults below." He said as he went behind one of the tipped thrones and brought out the real mask.

"A fake?" Harumi asked in shock.

"Forgive me, your highness." Hutchins apologized. "It is the Mask of Deception. I wasn't sure if I could trust the Ninja, but I do now." He said as Lloyd and Melissa gave a smile Hutchins moved the Emperor's throne to reveal another passage. "Take it and get the Princess out of here." He said while giving Lloyd the mask.

"What about my parents?" Harumi asked.

"I'll find them." Hutchins assured her with a smile.

"We were wrong about you." Lloyd said to him.

"We're sorry for accusing you of being up to something." Melissa apologized.

"Apology accepted." Hutchins said with a small nod. "Now go!"

"I'll help Zane, you get the Princess out of here." Melissa told her boyfriend.

"Okay, but be careful." Lloyd said to her in concern.

"Always." Melissa said with a small smile as Lloyd and Harumi entered the secret passage as the door closed while Melissa and Hutchins went off to do their jobs.

Lloyd and Harumi soon ended up outside the palace as they saw the guards fighting off the S.O.G. as best they could but losing as the whole area was in chaos as Lloyd and Harumi ran past the chaos as they turned back and saw another explosion going off.

Just then a biker circled around them as Lloyd grabbed the handle and kicked him off as he put the bike down. "Get on!" He called out as he hopped on the bike as Harumi followed in suit before picking up a helmet.

The two drove off, away from the palace as Ultra Violet screamed as she was free from her ice prison and rode her bike out of the burning palace as she and a few others drove after Lloyd and Harumi.

On the highway, Lloyd steered the bike as Harumi held on as they moved past the cars as Harumi turned and saw the S.O.G. following as Lloyd avoided the cars. "They're right behind us!" She called out.

Ultra Violet sped up, but a car blocked her as she couldn't find an opening until she drove over the vehicle as it tripped and caught fire as the S.O.G. drove around the crashed vehicle as the driver and one of the thugs fell.

Lloyd then saw two vehicles up ahead as he had an idea. "Hold on!" Lloyd called out as got in front of the vehicle as he turned off the headlights as he slowed down and moved to the side of the vehicle as Ultra Violet and her thugs moved pass them as they took an exit to another highway without them being spotted as Ultra Violet looked down and growled as she was tricked.

Lloyd looked up and saw the S.O.G took the upper highway and chuckled, "Heh, Lost 'em!" He said smugly but spoke too soon as Ultra Violet jumped from the highway and into the one they were in as Lloyd looked in shock as Ultra Violet drove towards them. "Her again?" He asked in annoyance.

Ultra Violet drew her sai as Lloyd drew his sword as U.V. lowered her sai to the ground as it created sparks as Lloyd readied his sword as the two were about to strike.

"Keep your head down!" Lloyd ordered as Harumi held onto Lloyd with her head down.

Then Lloyd and Ultra Violet clashed and the impact shook Lloyd and Harumi so much that mask fell out of Harumi's hands, which made her gasped as they saw it on the road, which Ultra Violet laughed before she charged forward while she screamed while Lloyd revved up, but when Harumi tried to grab it, she missed as Ultra Violet caught it.

"Oh, yeah!" Ultra Violet cheered while holding the mask up.

"We have to get it!" Harumi called.

But then more S.O.G goons joined Ultra Violet and Lloyd could see they were greatly outnumbered, "No, we have to get you out of here!" Lloyd told her as he drove off with the Sons of Garmadon following them.

Lloyd drove them to the city harbor and past some fishermen and fish marketers as Ultra Violet knocked Fishermen fish baskets out of his hands as Lloyd drove at the docks with Ultra Violet next to them on another dock as they saw a ramp.

"It's a dead end!" Harumi pointed out.

"But we're not dead yet." Lloyd countered with a smirk as he drove faster and went over the ramp as Ultra Violet was shocked by this as the two landed in a ship covered in a tarp as they got off the bike. "This way, Princess." He urged as they climbed up to the cockpit.

Ultra Violet stopped as she and her goons looked at where they were. "Bad call. Can't hide from me, Ninja." She boasted as they surrounded the ship.

In the ship, Lloyd and Harumi ran across the deck and up to the Bridge, "Lloyd, why did you bring us here? We can't get away from them in this thing." She pointed out.

"Hey, Princess. This 'thing' still has a few surprises in her." Lloyd said in defending the ship as he moved the tarp.

"Lloyd! They aren't going to just let us sail away!" Harumi pointed out.

Lloyd then pressed a button as a console activated to show a map of Ninjago before it froze out again, making Lloyd annoyed as he kicked it and it rebooted itself as he gave a prideful smile to Harumi.

"Who said anything about sailing?" Lloyd asked as he went to press some more buttons.

The S.O.G. were closing in on the ship before the sails were raised and those that came behind it, were then caught in a rocket booster smoke as it pushed them into the drink and those climbing on fell off as the tarps on the ship were torn off revealing two dragon figureheads. The sails then split to form six wings and the ship lifted up, revealing itself to be the Destiny's Bounty, remolded again after being repaired from the Vermillion Warriors.

The Bounty continued to be lifted in the air as Ultra Violet climbed the boats to get to it but it was out of range as she screamed in frustration.

And then the main booster lit up, but with a few sputtering sounds as the Bounty entered the city. As they flew through the city, Harumi looked in awe at how high they were. "Whoa. I've never seen the city this high before." She said in amazement.

"Your Highness, welcome aboard the Destiny's Bounty!" Lloyd announced with a smirk before the ship shook a bit, which Lloyd stabilized as he steered the ship through the city.

It was sunrise as the Ninja climbed up to the highway as they were exhausted and turned back and saw the ruins of the palace as police sirens can be heard as they took off their hoods as their soot-covered faces looked in despair at the palace before they saw the Bounty flying over them as Lloyd lowered it and they climbed on to the bridge.

Lloyd approached them, silently asking them how bad it was, and when they bowed their heads solemnly, it was the answer enough.

They all turned to Harumi who looked at them in worry, "The Emperor and Empress? Where is Hutchins? Did they…" She asked in concern.

Melissa sighed as she took a step forward. "I am so sorry Princess, I tried my best but, they didn't make it." She said with an apologetic look.

Harumi looked on in despair as she turned and saw the ruins of the royal palace. "What about the mask?" Kai asked Lloyd as he shook his head, giving them the answer. "I promise you, we'll find the people responsible for this." He promised Harumi as she turned to them.

"Once again, I am alone." Harumi said, looking down in despair.

"You're with us now. And we'll make sure to find out who's behind all this." Lloyd said as the Ninja crowded around her in moral support.

"Yeah, Harumi. They are not going to get away with this. I swear it." Melissa said with a serious look. "The Sons of Garmadon want a fight, well they just got into a war!" She finished with a serious look while Harumi looked down.

The Destiny's Bounty then took to the air and flew out of the city, the Ninja may have lost the second mask and the Royal Family is no more, but they will avenge those that were lost in the chaos and stop the Sons of Garmadons and their plans.

A/N: And that is The Jade Princess, and the Sons of Garmadon have the Mask of Deception and it seems that the Emperor and Empress didn't make it along with Hutchins and now it's up to the Ninja to get some answers.
