Mufasa growled as he struck Eshe causing her to move off him, giving him the chance to run towards his pride and the hyenas.

"Kill them all!"

The hyenas and the lionesses attacked at once. Mheetu led the charge, the pride attacked Mufasa's followers lions and hyenas.

Even Timon mostly Pumbaa and Rafiki got into the the fight for Eshe's throne.

Eshe soon had a clear path and ran after their uncle who ran up Pride Rock. Sãhasí knocked a hyena aside before running after his sister.

A inferno wall of flames was the only thing separating the brother and sister from the murderous lion. As the light brown lioness stood looking at the barrier the fire danced in her green eyes. With a growl she leapt through the wall of flames, landing gracefully on her paws.

Sãhasí landed gracefully besides his sister, whimpering caused the two to look towards the direction to see Mufasa near the edge.

Eshe quietly and severely growls, "Murderer."

"Let's be honest here. Do you really think you can beat me?" the gold lion chuckled before a sinister look shined in his orange eyes that mirrored the surrounding flames. "This is my destiny! My kingdom! The Pridelands belongs to me and me alone!" Mufasa chuckled again before grinning at his niece and nephew. "Besides it's the hyenas you really want! They are the real enemy. It was their fault and it was their idea!"

Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed are in the wall of flames but they overheard clearly and backed away, growling at the usurper's betrayal.

Eshe approaches her uncle with Sãhasí at her side, "Why should we believe you? Everything you have ever said was a lie!"

Mufasa laughed lightly. "What are you going to do? You're going kill your own uncle?"

Eshe snarled, "No, Mufasa. We're not like you."

Mufasa chuckled humorously while waving a paw. "So you are not going to kill me.. what do you want then?"

Eshe stood to her fullest height, her head held high as her voice was full of anger, "I want you to Run. Run. Run away, Mufasa. And never return."

"Of course. As you wish..." Mufasa looks down and seeing a pile of hot coals, "...your 'Majesty'!"

Mufasa swipes the hot coals into Eshe's face. With a cry of surprise and pain, the light brown lioness paws the hot rocks away as the large gold lion leaps and attacks.

Eshe shook her head and snarled as she leapt at her uncle and tackles him to the ground. Both Mufasa and Eshe land heavy blows. Mufasa managed to get a nasty strike to his niece's face. Causing the light brown lioness to roar in pain before she got knocked harshly on her back.

Mufasa leaps through the flames at her, fully prepared to kill his sister's daughter. With a roar of his own, Sãhasí head butts Mufasa in the side, which sent the gold lion soaring over the edge.

Mufasa tumbles to the bottom. He takes a moment before he weakly gets up. He sees Banzai, Shenzi, and Ed approaching and smiles. Ed has a very angry look on his face.

After catching their breaths, the siblings looked over the edge but turned away as the horde of hyenas closes in and devours their uncle.

Sãhasí shook his head to get that very disturbing image out of his head before gasping at the wound across his sister's eye. "Eshe... your eye?"

Eshe winched as she touched her left eye with her paw. "I guess I look more like our father."

Sãhasí sobbed before rushing forward and embraced his sister. "I'm so glad you're alive!"

Eshe smiled before nuzzling her brother's brownish mane tuff. "It's going to be alright now. We'll get through this together."

Sãhasí smiled lightly before stepping back from the edge. "Um...We should head down."

Eshe smiled at her brother before heading down from the summit with the pale brown teen following.

Eshe climbs down priderock and greets her mother before stepping back as her brother tightly embraced her brother. A small nuzzle caused Eshe to look to her side.

"What about me?"

Eshe smiled lovingly before embracing the tawny lion affectionately with a purr, Mheetu smiled before returning the embrace.

Rafiki motions for the light brown lioness to ascend Pride Rock with his staff.

"It is time."

Eshe took a deep breath before she starts up priderock but pauses to hug Rafiki. "Thank you,"

Rafiki smiled widely before watching the lioness continue to ascends through the rain. Through a hole in the clouds Eshe could see a patch of stars. One bright star shines out briefly as a farmilar voice echoes through her ears.

"Remember..."

Eshe's expression gains confidence and strength. Taking a deep breath she roars, Sarabi along with the pride, Auri and Tojo roared after, accepting the queen's ascension.

The rain had finally stopped after a couple days. As a warm ray of sunshine spread across the kingdom, Eshe sat at the peak with a head full of thoughts.

Queen Eshe. It's been almost a full week since she returned and defeated her uncle. But it was still some getting used to, to be greeted as such by the pride.

The light brown lioness feels unworthy to maintain the throne, let alone recive the love, loyalty of the pride. She knows that the stampede may not have been a accident but she wasn't the one that killed her father.

But she still was naive enough to not see through the lies and the schemes of Mufasa. That she followed the evil lion right into his trap. Maybe, if she was smarter, than her father would of still be alive.

A familiar scent of her mother grabbed her attention as she sat besides her. Eshe's mother has been truly helpful and the perfect one to talk to when she was unsure and needed advice, such as now.

"I figured you'd be out here."

Eshe sighed inward before looking at the dark beige lioness. "I have been doing... I think I have been doing okay since everything.. I just want to know what to do now?"

Sarabi took a deep breath. "It's not much but animals are returning. You have your brother and cousin to help in that area, as well as myself. For now, in case anything more... changes happen. I believe you should take precautions."

Eshe frowned as she thought about what her mother was saying. "Changes? Take precautions? Mother, what are you saying?"

Sarabi gazed out into the healing kingdom before moving her orange eyes back to her daughter. "Eshe, your next act as queen should be finding a Prince-Consort.."
