Mission Twenty One: Prelude to the Chaos... Power Up

In Coral Harbor, it has been a year since Venjix/Evox was destroyed and things have changed in Grid Battleforce. Steel is now human and has continued his career as an actor with Blaze as his stunt double. Devon has been the commander of Grid Battle force while Nate and Zoey have helped Mayor Daniels with his renewable energy plan. Ravi is now working with his mom who has become General. Meanwhile, deep into Cyberspace, suddenly a circuit opens and Venjix appears with red eyes preparing for his return.

Back at Bunkerdome, the Rangers are now fighting against another Roid named Metal Peacock who has stolen Enetron. The Rangers fight against the Vipers and Metal Peacock who laughs as he tosses them aside.

Metal Peacock: "Hahahaha Rangers, you are all pathetic!"

John: "Damn, this guy won't give up!"

Perry: "Come on we can do this!"

Andrew: "Alright time to smash this Roid!"

Andrew jumps and smashes the concrete with his powers. Metal Peacock falls and some of the Enetron falls on the ground.

Andrew: "Oh damn, oops sorry."

The Enetron hits Metal Peacock and suddenly he becomes stronger. He uses his new strength to blast the Rangers and they are attacked with the blast.

Metal Peacock: "Perfect, looks like I will need more of this!"

He absorbs more Enetron further upgrading him. The Rangers try to fight back but they end up getting hurt in the process.

John: "Fuck, this guy is tough! We can't beat him!"

Jake: "I have calculated our odds of defeating him and it's less than 1 percent."

Oscar: "Never tell us the odds!"

However, as he is about to attack Andrew and Perry tackle him and struggle to hold him down. Metal Peacock then fires an energy blast and sends them flying.

Metal Peacock: "Well Rangers I will take the rest of this. Tata for now."

He teleports back to the dark dimension while the Rangers struggle to get up.

John: "Oh great, we gotta get back to base."

Metal Peacock returns to the dark dimension with the remaining Enetron he stole. Enter and Escape are pleased but also wonder why he took some of the Enetron.

Enter: "So it seems you took some of the Enetron without our permission. Well we can still make good use of you."

Metal Peacock: "Let me destroy the Rangers! I can do it!"

Escape: "We know you can but we have to get more Enetron. We have a new plan due to Messiah's unfortunate death. But don't worry if you defeat the Rangers you can help us with that."

Metal Peacock: "Yes madam. I will do what is needed."

Enter: "Great mon ami. I will take care of this myself. My spy has found other places we can get into for Enetron. You will go there soon but first we have gotten communication from the other side."

Enter turns on the screen where the same red eyes from Venjix are seen and he ominously says "Hello I am here!"

Back at HQ the Rangers plan their next moves after being defeated by Metal Peacock.

John: "How the Hell can we beat this thing. His metal armor is too tough now."

Perry: "Even my sharpest sword couldn't dent that."

Andrew: "We need something more powerful."

Oscar: "So you mean like an upgrade?"

Jake: "Yes, something stronger than the material he's made of."

As they continue to ponder, Officer Banks and Bratt arrive with Mike and Megan.

Officer Banks: "So we have some news from the lab."

Officer Bratt: "This should be good news for you guys."

John: "Okay go on."

Megan: "So you know how your Buddyloids aren't seen around much?"

Andrew: "Yeah, I mean it's not a big deal because they gotta be maintained right?"

Mike: "Yes but there's another reason for that. Check this out."

He turns on the screen and shows a green layout of the Rangers.

Megan: "See that, we built a new armor mode for you guys. Sadly we only have three of them. Sorry Oscar and Jake."

Oscar and Jake: "You're Good."

Mike: "So we have been testing your morphers with the new mode so they're now ready to try out. They're called the Special Ops Armor Mode."

John: "Whoa that's cool. So does that only work with my morpher or is there a way I can use it with the Lion Morpher."

Megan: "No no no no, do not attempt to combine your powers with the Morpher. It could be deadly."

John: "Oh okay thanks I'll take that to heart."

Mike: "So we are gonna fuse it to your morphers but you guys won't be able to use your morphers for a bit. It takes time."

Andrew: "Cool but how will we fight until then?"

Officer Bratt: "Oscar and Jake will take over even though they won't be able to have the armor."

Oscar: "We're good, we'll keep Metal Peacock at bay until you guys are done."

The alarm goes off and the screen shows Metal Peacock stealing more Enetron.

Jake: "Let's go Oscar."

Oscar: "We'll see you guys soon."

John: "Be careful man."

The two head out while the others wait at HQ for their morphers to sync with the new forms. Metal Peacock carries the Enetron to a truck built for him by Enter. The two Rangers encounter the Vipers and manage to dispose of them.

Metal Peacock: "Well well well, you're back again to get another beating."

Oscar: "Bird brain we're just here to stop you. Because our friends have a surprise waiting for you."

Jake: "Time to go!"

The two of them charge at Metal Peacock but get tossed around. However, they get up and continue to put up a fight. The Rangers look on hopeless worried about their friends.

John: "Ugh I hope this ends soon. Look Banks, they're getting hurt badly."

Officer Banks: "We know but give it some time."

Mike: "We're almost done. Hopefully your friends can manage him just a bit more."

The two Rangers fall again and struggle to get up. "Ugh I hope all of this is worth it" says Oscar as he tries to help Jake. "I hope so too but we have to believe in them" responds Jake as he tries to get up.

Metal Peacock: "Hahahahaha you are pathetic prepare to die!"

Back at HQ, the morphers finish syncing to the new forms.

Megan: "Rangers, we're good to go! Sorry it took so long! Now go with your Buddyloids!"

John: "Come on Nick!"

Nick: "Right!"

Andrew: "George let's go!"

George: "Right!"

Perry: "Phoebe come on!"

Phoebe: "Yay I'm all set!"

Back at the fight, the two are about to be destroyed by a large energy blast until they're shot by John.

John: "Sorry guys took some time."

Oscar: "Finally thanks for coming we'll let you guys defeat them."

The Rangers arrive with their Buddyloids and prepare their new form.

John: "Ready guys let's go!"

"Special Ops Armor Mode!"

The Buddyloids disassemble and then their parts combine with the Rangers forming the new Armor Mode.

Perry: "Nice, I love this!"

Andrew: "Me too, now we got the upper hand."

John: "This is just what we need. Let's go!"

The Rangers in their new form charge towards Metal Peacock and manage to counter his attacks. With their new armor they are able to break his heavy armor and throw him in the air. The armor also enhances their powers as John uses his super speed to toss him aside. Perry jumps higher and kicks him with an faster kick. Andrew uses a stronger smash attack that breaks Metal Peacock's new upgrade.

John: "Alright let's finish him off!"

Megan then contacts the Rangers and says to them "Rangers, use the new energy wave attack to finish him off!"

John: "Roger that!"

The Rangers power up their Armor Mode and charge towards Metal Peacock. The combined power kills him and he explodes. The Rangers celebrate but are interrupted by Enter who pulls out a rifle.

Enter: "Well Rangers good job now let's see you take him on when he's bigger!"

He shoots an energy blast that grows Metal Peacock into his powered up form. John suddenly has an idea and says "Hey guys maybe I should use the new Lion Zord in its battle form."

Andrew: "Yeah go for it."

Perry: "Let's see it in action."

John: "Alright, Special Ops Lion Zord, Megazord form!"

The Lion zord arrives and quickly transforms into its Megazord form. John then puts the Lion Morpher closer to him and starts giving out commands.

John: "Lion Zord, activate Shield and Lance!"

The Lion Megazord summons the shield which is his head and the Lance. Metal Peacock fires his energy attack but the Lion Megazord reflects the attack with the shield. The Megazord then charges toward Metal Peacock and slashes him with the Lance.

John: "Alright, let's do Flame Strike!"

The Megazord shoots a large flame blast from the mouth of the shield. Metal Peacock is injured from the blast and falls.

John: "Alright, let's finish him off, Scepter Slash now!"

The Megazord then energizes its Lance and sends a double slash to Metal Peacock causing him to explode. The Rangers celebrate their new victory with their new Megazord.

Meanwhile at the dark dimension Enter is increasingly impatient with his failures as he talks to Venjix.

Enter: "Listen this is between me and you Venjix."

Venjix: "Where is Escape?"

Enter: "She's upgrading our army for our new plan."

Venjix: "Did you tell her about your secret plan."

Enter: "No, she doesn't know. And I will reveal in due time."

Venjix: "So Messiah really isn't dead?"

Enter: "I can't say he's dead or alive. But I promise the Rangers will regret it."

Venjix: "Good, because I need more power to come back and kill those Rangers that defeated me."

Enter: "Well you've come to the right place."
