The air is thick with tension as Jotaro, Batman, Batgirl, and Red Hood materialize into a desolate expanse in Jotaro's world. The vast, dusty plains are marked by shifting light and distortions in space, a byproduct of the dimensional chaos created by Funny Valentine's Stand, D4C Love Train.
Ahead of them, a shimmering barrier of pure white light stretches across the horizon—a distortion that warps and redirects any attack sent toward Valentine, funneling away any misfortune that dares come his way. Valentine stands within the protection of Love Train, his form half-obscured by its blinding radiance. His gaze is intense, calculating as he sizes up his adversaries.
Valentine (smiling, his voice calm but dripping with malice): "You brought friends, Jotaro. How heartwarming… and yet, how futile. D4C Love Train is invincible. Misfortune and death will never touch me."
Jotaro (stepping forward, eyes fierce): "You're out of time, Valentine. No matter how many dimensions you crawl through, you'll answer for everything you've done."
Batman, sizing up the barrier, glances at Jotaro.
Batman: "That barrier… it's redirecting attacks. Anything we throw at him just gets deflected somewhere else."
Batgirl (analyzing the shifting light): "It's not just a physical shield—it's distorting probability. It's redirecting everything negative away from him."
Red Hood: "So, he's literally untouchable. Great."
Valentine raises his hand, his Stand, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (D4C), materializing behind him. The rabbit-eared Stand looks to be the twisted mirror of Valentine himself, filled with a terrifying energy as it warps the space around it. Valentine's confident smile widens as he prepares to strike.
Valentine: "You are the fools, walking into the light of inevitability. D4C Love Train cannot be breached. Misfortune—"
Jotaro (cutting him off): "—can't stop us. I know how Love Train works, Valentine. And now… I'll break it."
Jotaro's eyes narrow with resolve, his fists clenched. Star Platinum appears behind him, poised and ready. Batman, Batgirl, and Red Hood take formation beside him, each prepared to take on whatever horrors the Stand user throws their way.
Batman: "We need to hit him from multiple angles, disrupt his focus. Jotaro, you said his Stand works by moving between dimensions, right?"
Jotaro: "Yes, but there's a weak point. Love Train can only divert attacks when he's fully concentrated. If we get close enough, we can force his Stand to react."
Red Hood (loading his pistols): "Then we give him everything we've got."
With a quick nod, the team launches into action. Batman throws several Batarangs from different angles, each designed to emit a blinding burst of light and crackling EMP pulses. Valentine's barrier diverts the first few easily, but the continued barrage begins to tax Love Train's defenses.
Meanwhile, Batgirl flanks to the right, sprinting low as she hurls smoke bombs and sonic disruptors toward Valentine, her speed making her a moving target. Red Hood fires precision shots aimed to test the barrier's reach and timing, each shot ricocheting off to unintended places but forcing Valentine to focus. Suddenly, Valentine briefly disperses Love Train's barrier as D4C knocks Batgirl and Red Hood away. Batman goes for a jumping kick, but is quicky stricken down.
Valentine (gritting his teeth as he redirects the attacks): "A pointless exercise! This is my world now! None of you can challenge the protection of D4C Love Train!"
Jotaro (charging forward, voice resolute): "We'll see about that. Star Platinum… The World!"
Valentine barely manages to reconfigure Love Train as Jotaro stops time. Time freezes, and Jotaro strides forward in a blue-hued world of stillness. He closes the distance in an instant, his Stand, Star Platinum, ready to deliver a precise punch aimed at Valentine's heart.
But even in stopped time, the blinding barrier of Love Train remains active, the light shimmering eerily as if aware of Star Platinum's impending strike.
Jotaro (thinking to himself): "Even in stopped time… his barrier senses attacks. But this close… I might just break it."
When time resumes, Star Platinum's fist makes contact with the barrier, causing cracks to ripple through the light. Valentine stumbles back, shocked as the barrier flickers, momentarily weakened.
Valentine (gasping): "Impossible!"
Batman (spotting the weakness): "Now! Everyone, attack!"
Batgirl leaps in with a sweeping kick, her agility allowing her to dodge the shifting light while hurling more explosives toward Valentine's exposed side. Valentine brings more alternate versions of himself as a distraction, but Red Hood uses a high-caliber rifle to eliminate them, keeping up the pressure to distract Valentine from reforming his barrier. Batman throws several more Batarangs just for good measure.
Jotaro presses forward, Star Platinum launching an unrelenting barrage of punches.
Star Platinum: "ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!"
The combined force from all sides overwhelms D4C Love Train, its radiance faltering as Valentine is forced to face attacks from every direction. Valentine's once-impenetrable confidence crumbles as cracks splinter through his shield.
Valentine (furious, his voice desperate): "No! I am untouchable—I am the embodiment of fortune itself!"
With one final, concentrated blow, Star Platinum shatters the remnants of Love Train's barrier, sending Valentine stumbling back, exposed and vulnerable.
Jotaro: "This is the end, Valentine."
With time on his side, Jotaro unleashes a devastating series of punches that connect directly with Valentine, each blow landing with crushing force. Valentine tries defending himself with D4C, but the Stand is hopelessly outmatched against Star Platinum's strength and speed.
Star Platinum: "ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA! ORA!"
Valentine collapses, his Stand withdrawing, his body battered and broken as he struggles to move.
Valentine (choking out, barely conscious): "How… how could you… defy fate?"
Batman (coldly): "Because you underestimated us. You can't escape accountability, no matter how many worlds you hide in."
As the dust settles, the Bat-family gathers around the defeated Valentine, ensuring he's fully incapacitated. Jotaro's expression is resolute, his eyes hard as he takes in the aftermath.
Batgirl (looking around the alien landscape): "Will this place go back to normal now that he's done for?"
Jotaro: "It should, once he's restrained. We've disrupted his Stand's influence here."
Red Hood glances down at Valentine, his mouth curled in a smirk.
Red Hood: "Good riddance."
Jotaro looks at his newfound allies, a sense of gratitude just barely visible on his stoic face.
Jotaro: "Thank you. This world might not be yours, but you fought for it like it was. I owe you all."
Batman: "No need. Protecting worlds from men like him—that's something we understand."
Together, they prepare to return to their own reality, leaving behind the remnants of Valentine's shattered ambitions in a world now safe from his twisted vision.
