Chapter 7: Crime Fighting Duo

Peter and Carrie sat on the couch and something on the TV caught their attention.

"Ladies and Gentlemen it is my pleasure to welcome the top CEO of Fisk Electronics: Wilson Fisk." The man reports on TV.

Applause was heard and to Peter's surprise it was indeed Wilson Fisk who was once known as the Kingpin of crime.

"Fisk…" Peter said.

"He's who?" Carrie asked.

"Wilson Fisk. The Kingpin of crime. Never met him but last I heard he was back in jail." Peter said.

"Back in?" Carrie asked.

"Another long story." Peter said.

Fisk spoke firmly on the TV.

"I have paid my debt to society. And I am now dedicating my life to rebuilding this city for a guaranteed peaceful future. With Tony Stark gone I will ensure the people's safety with a stronger force than ever." Fisk said on TV.

"Did he know Mr. Stark?" Carrie asked.

"I don't know." Peter said.

"My only intention is to rewrite my mistakes and build a better tomorrow! This city is my home. It is our home. And we will fight for it. Fight for a better New York. Ladies and Gentlemen it is my great pleasure to introduce you to the unlimited Task Force!" Fisk explained on TV.

A figure flying on a glider in armor flew in with the crowd applauding.

That made Peter think back to the Green Goblin from Peter Parker 2's universe.

Which made Peter turn it off concerning Carrie.

"Are you alright?" Carrie asked.

"I'm alright…just…that man on that flying thing…reminded me of something." Peter said.

"What?" Carrie asked.

"The guy who…murdered my Aunt. He was from Peter Parker 2's world and…he had a flying vehicle like those Task Force guys. I'm…just…" Peter said.

"I understand. I really do. And…I figure you feel, more better if…" Carrie said.

Carrie takes her backpack and pulls the zip open, she takes her Spidey white, pink, and black suit.

"Whoa. You have a suit?" Peter asked.

"Yeah. The spider-bite was pink and white took me." Carrie said.

"You have power?" Peter asked.

"Yes. I fixed the suit." Carrie said.

"You fixed the suit?" Peter said.

"I'll go on patrol with you." Carrie said.

"You sure?" Peter asked.

"If you think it'll help me." Carrie said.

"Yeah. I think it would help me too. Being on my own…has really been a long road. My Parents, Aunt, and Uncle are dead. My friends not remembering who I am…it's just…heavy." Peter said.

"I know what that's like. I really do." Carrie said.

Peter nods understanding that two lonely heroes are now beginning a new chapter in their lives.

Once Peter and Carrie were suited up he opened the window and turned to her.

"You want me to carry you?" Peter asked.

"I can swing." Carrie said.

"True but…if it uses up your powers I can carry you along the way it's no big deal at all." Peter said.

Carrie chuckles with Peter putting on a mild blush.

"Peter, I'll be fine. Trust me." Carrie said.

"I trust you…it's just…maybe it will be more safe if I carry you along the way." Peter said.

"And how will carrying me along the way be safer?" Carrie asked.

"I don't know…I just thought…I don't know how many robbers we'll encounter or people we'll save from fires accidents or something but…just thought you might need all the energy you have." Peter said.

Carrie smirked at him; she knew Peter was making excuses so he could carry her.

But she nodded, going along with it with Peter smiling and pulling their masks.

Peter and Carrie then leap out the window and Spider-Man and Spider-Woman swing over the streets of Manhattan.

Thus began their team effort first Spider-Man and Spider-Woman foiled a bank robbery Carrie disarmed their guns with webbed.

And Peter webbed them to the walls.

Next thing they were a building was on fire Spider-Man went in search for survivors while Carrie used her webbed on fire hydrants to put out the flames.

They saved five people in that building.

Next thing they stopped a kidnapping at Pete's old neighborhood Queens a kid was taken by guys in leather jackets but Spider-Woman crushed their engine with her powers with Peter webbed them in it trapping them after taking the kid out of it.

Next thing they did was save people caught in a car accident on a bridge.
