The trio left the Headmaster's office and began their walk towards the Gryffindor common room. Fleamont's hand left Harry's shoulder as his eyes scanned their surroundings, searching for an empty classroom. Halfway towards the common room, he finally found one and stopped in front of the doors. James raised his eyebrows in question but Monty ignored his son and instead opened the door and led the boys in.
Once everyone entered the room, Monty closed the door and began putting up silencing spells and wards. After a few moments, he lowered his hand and turned towards his son, grandson and the Malfoy spawn.
"I'm glad you didn't share anything with Albus, he is a meddling old man." Monty said in distaste.
Malfoy wasn't convinced that he wasn't somehow dreaming. First Potter refused to share his memories with the headmaster whom he seemed to disgustingly worship and now his grandfather was actually sounding like he didn't like the old fool. Maybe he didn't know the Potter's as well as he thought he did.
Monty continued, "I'm not going to ask you to share any information with me but there are some details we need to discuss and sort out before you join with your classmates. I think it's best we introduce Harry as James's cousin to prevent any confusion."
Harry nodded his head while James looked outraged.
"That isn't fair, he is my son-"
"Yes, he is your son. But how would the students react when they hear you have a son from a different timeline who is the same age as you? In public it is best that he be introduced as your cousin, that does not make him any less of your son."
James crossed his arms, wanting to argue further but knowing it was futile to push his father.
Harry was shocked to say the least, he wasn't expecting his father to be so defensive towards him much less accept him as his son especially after the memory he saw in Snape's pensieve. Honestly he had expected James to ignore Harry or deny their relationship.
Monty continued, "Harry will stay with us during Holidays and summer. Easter is in a few months and I expect you both to return to the manor. I will teach you family magic and we will visit Gringotts so you can get your heir ring like James has."
'Heir ring? What the hell is he talking about?' Harry thought but knew better than to interrupt. He didn't want his family to think he was stupid.
Monty then turned towards Malfoy, "Your name has likely also appeared on your family Tapestry. I would expect them to reach out to you. I know you told Dumbledore that you have no interest in joining your father's footsteps in working for that madman who calls himself Voledmort", James and Draco shuddered at the name which Monty ignored, "You can join my grandson and son for the Holidays if you wish."
Harry's eyes widened and James looked ready to argue but Monty glared at the two into silence.
Draco was more than surprised but he simply nodded his head, unable to find his voice.
"If you do choose to join my family at the manor then you will need to make a vow when the time comes to ensure you do not attempt to harm us nor disclose any information pertaining to us to your family or their associates."
"This is a lot to consider Lord Potter but I will give you my word if the time comes. I don't expect my family to reach out to me either, even when they see my name on the Tapestry," Draco said bitterly, once the shock wore off and he found his voice.
Draco felt Lord Potter's eyes scan over him, feeling him stare into his soul and searching for any hint of deception. Fleamont's cold eyes made Draco involuntary shiver, it wasn't often that he felt intimidated by people who were not his father or the Dark Lord but the power radiating off of the man in front of him was nothing short of intense and suffocating.
Fleamont gave Draco a slight nod before turning his gaze back to James and Harry, his eyes softening as they landed on his family.
"This is definitely an unexpected situation you two have found yourselves in but I am so happy to meet you and have you be a part of our family, Harry."
Harry felt choked up, 'Family? And they want me..' A warmth swelled within his stomach.
"Sirius and Remus already are aware of Harry's relation to you, so make sure they understand that in public he is your cousin."
James glared at his father but gave a reluctant nod. He didn't know why it bothered him so much to introduce Harry as his cousin. It was the most logical decision but he couldn't help but feel disappointed. Harry… his son. James had overwhelming feelings of love and the desire to protect Harry that he couldn't explain. He hardly knew the teen and they were the same age and yet he already felt a deep sense of responsibility and love for the boy. It was like his magic knew who Harry was and was responding to him.
"I am going to leave and speak with Dorea and Charlus,"
"Aunt Dorea and Uncle Charlus?"
"Yes, we will need to discuss Harry's arrival and forge some paperwork to make him appear as Charlus' son. I would claim Harry as my son but I am afraid that nobody would believe that considering he is sixteen and nobody has seen him before. Even though the timeline he has come from has been destroyed, it wouldn't be wise for certain individuals, specifically the ministry, to get wind that time travelers have appeared. They will likely try to run experiments and Merlin knows what else they would do with the boys. Charlus has always been very secretive so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary to learn that he had a secret son. Charlus and I will come up with a proper backstory as to why he hasn't attended Hogwarts yet but for now if anyone asks, remain silent on the matter."
Harry and James both nodded their heads in understanding.
"I am assuming Lucuis is your father based on your appearance and Narcissa is your mother?" Monty asked Draco, his cold eyes meeting the blonde haired boy.
"Yes, that is correct." Draco answered, confirming Mont's suspicions.
"I will speak with Dorea as to what backstory we can come up with for you. Fortunately you are related to the Black family so she should be able to convince Arcturus to help her keep you out of Lucuis's clutches."
Draco was confused, how could the Potter's convince the Black's to do anything?
Seeing the teen's question forming on his lips, Monty answered. "Dorea Potter is a Black and while she isn't in contact with most of them due to her marriage into our family, Arcturus is a good friend of Charlus and they respect each other. The Potters and the Blacks share a few distant relatives with the Black family aside from Dorea so Harry and James do have Black blood as well, although not as much as you of course being that your mother is Arcturus's great granddaughter."
Draco and Harry's eyebrows both shot up to their foreheads.
'Potter? Related to the Blacks? Oh bloody hell.' Draco thought, his wind whirling.
"You didn't know?" James asked, turning towards his son, "I didn't tell you any of this?" He pressed.
Harry felt a wave of grief wash over him. "No.. you weren't exactly around to tell me.." He muttered, his eyes staring at the floor.
James narrowed his eyes, "I wasn't around? Where the bloody hell was I?"
"Language, James." Monty scolded.
"You and your wife were murdered when he was a baby." Draco said bluntly, causing Harry to flinch and both Monty and James to stare between Harry and Draco.
Harry's eyes left the floor and turned to glare at Draco, "Thanks for that. Not exactly how I planned to break the news,"
"Someone needed to and you clearly weren't going to," Malfoy argued.
Monty rubbed his temples, "I think we will need some more context for this. You can explain more over the Easter holidays but right now I need to leave and speak with my brother before news of your arrival reaches certain ears." He said, waving his hand and allowing the wards and spells to drop.
James rushed over to Harry and wrapped his arms around the boy, causing Harry to flinch at the sudden contact before slowly melting into his embrace.
"I am so sorry I wasn't there for you, I promise I won't leave you again," James muttered, causing a few tears to drop from Harry's eyes against his will. He nodded his head, savoring the warmth from his father.
'His father was hugging him! This was the first hug he received from his father!'
Monty stared at his son and grandson with a fond smile on his lips. Once James released Harry from his embrace, Monty walked over and pulled Harry into a hug as well.
"I don't know what you have been through but just know that you have family here now who loves you very much," more tears dripped from Harry's eyes.
Monty released Harry with a smile before embracing James as well and whispering in his ear, "I am proud of you son. You have matured more this past week than you have your whole life."
"Oi!" James yelled in protest, glaring half-heartedly as his father, which caused Harry to chuckle and wipe the tears from his avada eyes.
Monty laughed wholeheartedly and released James as well before turning towards Draco and placing a hand on his shoulder, startling the blonde.
"I respect Arcturus and Dorea is my family so we will get your situation figured out."
Draco nodded his head. Monty glanced at the three teens once more before turning on his heel and leaving the classroom, robes billowing behind him.
"Come on kids, time to enter the Lion's den," James exclaimed, putting his arm around both teens' shoulders, causing Draco to scowl and Harry to laugh as they exited the classroom and walked towards the Fat Lady portrait.

A/N: This is fan fiction so I am making up a few things for the plot. In this story, there can be multiple heirs to ancient and noble houses. Monty is Lord Potter but since Charlus is his younger brother, any son of Charlus is eligible to also be an heir to the Potter house. Monty is making Harry an heir since he is his grandson and the heir ring will be important later in the story. James already has his heir ring. Charlus and Lord Black fought together during the last war and learned to respect each other, that back story will be covered later in the series as well.
Monty is making Harry become Charlus son on paperwork because the Potter family is well-known and nobody would beleive that Monty had another son and didn't have him attend Hogwarts when he was eleven. Charlus is very private and a terrifying man so people would believe that he kept something like this from the Wizarding world. Monty doesn't like or trust Draco but due his black blood, Monty feels a sense of responsibility to keep him away from the Malfoys since he recognizes Dorea and his sister. Monty and Arcturus are well aquainted. Not friends like Charlus and Arcturus but they do respect each other and consider each other to be family. Gringotts visit will be very interesting to say the least..
The Malfoys wouldn't and don't come searching for Draco despite his name being on the Tapestry. The Malfoy family is huge and they are going to assume Lucius had a child outside of marriage since Narcissa is not pregnant and never gave birth in this timeline so they won't want to to associate with Draco. Lucuis has cheated on Narcissa many times but it is looked down upon to have a child outside of marriage and that is what they will assume happened, they won't realize he is Narcissa's son since Narcissa won't appear on the family tapestry. More of this will be explored later in the story.
Draco will appear on the Black tapestry but Arcturus will alter it so he does not show as Narcissa's son. Again more of this will be explored in the story.
The Malfoys are knee deep in Voldemort's circle and despite the Black family appearing to support him and his "movement", Arcturus dislikes voldemort and sees him as nothing more than dirt on his shoe and an inconvience. Arcturus lets his family do what they wish but he is the Lord and head of the house and does not support Voldemort. Again, more of this will be explored and he will take a stronger stance against Voldemort after learning Harry and Draco's backstory. Both boys will reveal everything over the Holidays.
James accepts Harry as his son immediately because his magic recongizes him as his son. The magic flowing in him is making James feel love for Harry and the desire to protect him. James is still going to be a little shit and immature but he is maturing quickly and drastically where Harry is concerned. Lily won't know Harry is her son but she will have weird and strong desires to protect him as well but she won't suspect anytning out of the ordinary... yet.
Dumbledore won't be evil in this story but he will be his usual manipulative bastard self. Harry is pissed at Dumbledore due to what happened last year so he isn't going to become his pawn so easily.
Monty does not get along with or like Dumbledore. More of their issues with each other will again be explored later. The Potter family is a neutral family, not light or dark but they will be more dark than expected. Monty mentions teaching Harry the family magic, he knows Harry hasn't learned any yet because Harry doesn't have his heir ring and in this story you need to have an heir ring or family ring (different from an heir ring) in order to learn the family magic.
