Plot 1: The Shadow's Truth

After a bewildering first day at Springfield Elementary, Pip Pirrup wandered the unfamiliar streets, trying to clear his thoughts. Nothing made sense—South Park was gone, he had met faces both new and familiar, and worst of all, he had a gnawing suspicion that he wasn't supposed to be alive.

As he turned down a dimly lit alley, his shadow elongated and began writhing unnaturally. Pip froze in place, his heart pounding. Slowly, the shadow detached from the ground, rising and reshaping until it formed into a hunched, cackling figure.

Magica De Spell.

"So," she purred, her voice slithering around him like a snake. "You're finally beginning to understand."

Pip took a step back. "You… you're the one who brought me back, aren't you?"

"Clever boy," Magica smirked. "And now that you know, it's time you fulfill your purpose."

Pip already knew what she meant. "You want me to steal Scrooge McDuck's Number One Dime."

Magica's eyes glowed. "Yes. And you will do it."

Pip clenched his fists. "No. I refuse."

The air grew thick with an eerie silence. Magica's expression darkened. "Excuse me?"

"I am no thief!" Pip declared. "I have always upheld my honor, even in the cruelest of times! I will not stoop to such wickedness."

Magica's fingers twitched as if she were suppressing the urge to strike him down. "You insolent little whelp… I resurrected you. You owe me."

"I owe you nothing."

For a moment, Magica's expression remained unreadable. Then, without another word, she turned sharply on her heel, her shadowy form swirling around her.

"Fine," she hissed. "If you won't serve your purpose, then you are of no use to me."

With a flick of her wrist, she vanished into the night.

Pip let out a shaky breath, relieved yet terrified of what consequences might come. Little did he know, Magica had decided to occupy herself with something else entirely…

Back at McDuck Manor, she appeared in front of the television, grabbed the remote, and grumbled, "If I can't have my revenge, I shall at least watch Terrance and Phillip."

Plot 2: An Uneasy Discovery

Meanwhile, in Duckburg, Scrooge McDuck entered the local retirement home to pay wages and support for its caretakers. Though he was known for his wealth-hoarding ways, he still believed in giving back to the elderly who had long served their time.

As he made his way through the halls, nodding at familiar faces, he stopped in his tracks when he saw a particular resident sitting quietly near a window.

It was Toadsworth.

The old mushroom-headed man was reading a newspaper, completely at ease as if he had been living there for years. But Scrooge knew better.

"Toadsworth?" he muttered under his breath. "But… he's been gone for years."

Feeling a growing unease, Scrooge finished his business and hurried outside. The cold air didn't shake off his growing paranoia.

Magica had resurrected Pip.

And now, Toadsworth was alive again, too.

Scrooge clutched his cane tighter. "Blast it, Magica. What are ye up to?"

Something was very wrong. If Magica had the power to bring back the dead, how many others had she resurrected? And for what purpose?

As the shadows of Duckburg stretched under the setting sun, Scrooge had a sinking feeling that Pip's resurrection was only the beginning.
