"Hmm, that is a name I haven't heard in a while. Yes, I do remember it, but Goku didn't survive for more than a few minutes before coming back out as it was too much for him to handle."
'Okay, but do you think I'll be able to survive for the full time inside it?' I asked as I sat down, ignoring everyone else looking over Bulma's shoulder as she was rapidly typing away at a keyboard while I heard Mr. Popo hum before answering.
"The more powerful one is, the more the room wants to push your spirit to its limits. However, from what I've seen of you for the past thirteen years, you may have what it takes to last the full day."
'Really? Then do you think you could give us all access?'
"To do so would mean that I'd have to bring the Lookout Tower from the Heavenly Realm into the Mortal Realm, which means that there's a chance of the Androids attacking the Tower. That is why if I do so, you'll have only five minutes to get here and onto the Tower before I seal it away once more."
'Just me?'
"Can anyone else keep up with your top speed?" He asked in response and I sighed as I nodded.
'I understand. King Kai, can you tell Mr. Popo the moment I take off?'
"Sure thing. Remember, once I tell Mr. Popo, you can't stop for anything else. Good luck." He answered before I felt the connection fading away, making me blink before shaking my head as I stood up with a sigh.
"So, what's everyone up to?" I asked as I walked over to the gathered group, to which Trunks spun around in excitement as his mother continued typing.
"Mom's just finishing up with the rest of the programming as well as accelerating the DNA assimilation process. At this rate, the Android will be done in only half the time."
"That's good. It means that I can go do my own thing then."
"Wait, what? What do you mean your own thing?" Mom asked with a frown and I sighed as I scratched the back of my head before answering.
"What I mean is that I've been talking to King Kai, who has connected me through to Mr. Popo and we may have found a place where I can do a year's worth of training in one day."
"…That's not possible." Bulma spoke with a smile as she shook her head, looking at me and her smile waning as she saw my own amused one as I nodded.
"It is possible."
"H-How is it even…? What?" Gramps was at a lost of words and I chuckled before holding a hand up as Trunks went to speak with an excited smile.
"I won't be bringing you."
"What?! Why?!"
"Can you keep up with me at my top speed?" I asked with a frown, Trunks glaring at me before shaking his head with a sigh as I smiled and patted him on the shoulder.
"Don't worry. To me, it will be a year. To you all, it will only be a day. Besides, when I get back, we'll do all of the training we can."
"…Hah, fine." He grumbled and I smiled and ruffled his hair to his dismay before turning to the others, who all nodded.
All except for Mom.
"You're leaving again, just like you did all those years ago." She whispered and I smiled as I reached forward and hugged her, feeling her hug me back tightly as I gave her a soft kiss on the forehead.
"It's okay. I'll be back before you know it."
"You better or I'm dragging you back from death myself." She spoke with a frown and I nodded before she let me go and I took a few steps back.
"Now, remember to close the hatch behind me, okay? Weld it shut and no one go out until I come back."
"Right." Trunks nodded as the two of us made our way towards where we entered, reaching up and tearing the hatch off with my bare hands before nodding at Trunks as I rose up and flew high into the sky.
"I'm bringing the Lookout Tower down…now. You have five minutes. Go." Mr. Popo had not even finished his sentence before I was rocketing through the air, making sure not to go too close to the ground as sonic boom after sonic boom echoed in the air behind me.
Not wanting to waste any time, I took a deep breath before grabbing onto the chaotic hurricane of energy that was my ki, feeling my body bulk out slightly as well as my ki getting boosted drastically and the world around me warped as I blasted through the sky like a golden bullet.
It took us nearly nine hours to go from West City to the northern point of the continent while flying at a comfortable yet slow pace.
It took me only three minutes to go from our new base to the edge of South City at my top speed, a strained smirk appearing on my face as I saw the faint form of the Lookout Tower floating above it.
Curving my body upwards, I flew even faster as I went up to the Lookout Tower, frowning as I felt something washing over my body the moment I passed its edge and landed on the white marble flooring.
The moment I did, my eyes widened as the world shifted and I found myself looking at a starry void above me, the Earth visible from below the edge of the Lookout while Mr. Popo stood in front of me with a happy smile.
"Hello, Gohan~" He greeted and I was thankful he wasn't the creepy version of it from DBZ Abridged as I smiled & bowed slightly.
"Hello, Mr. Popo. It's a pleasure to see one of us is still surviving. How have you been?"
"As good as I can. Without Kami and our old friends, it has been a struggle to survive, but I'm glad to see that you all are still doing well. Now, I won't be wasting any of your time now. Please, continue on."
"Thank-Wait a second. King Kai, are you there?!" I called out, Mr. Popo looking confused at my words as I heard static in my head before King Kai spoke up.
"Urgh, a bit hard to get through that barrier around the Lookout Tower. Yeah, what's up?"
"Do you have a way to perhaps help me figure out how to transform into an Oozaru? Not just that, but also perhaps a way to get my tail back."
"Ah, right. Your plan to combine the Oozaru form with Super Saiyan. Yes to your first question and maybe with the second one. The first one I can simply share the concept of what to do with you as you will have to do that on your own, but the second one is something Mr. Popo will have to help you out with."
"I can, but do you wish for the painful way or the soft way?"
"Which one is the quickest?"
"I feel like you know." Mr. Popo spoke with a smile and I sighed as I took off the top of my ki while placing the Power Pole right on top of it, Mr. Popo humming as he walked around to my back before I shivered as I felt him rub his finger against something on my lower back.
"That's the tail?"
"The end of it is poking out, but just enough to be seen as a slightly hairy birthmark." He spoke up and I nodded before a gasp escaped my lips as I felt pain explode from the same spot, spinning around while panting deeply as Mr. Popo placed down a pair of pliers that he got from who knows where.
"Anyway, I'll give you the information of what I know if it, but doing so will cause your limbs to become paralysed for a few moments."
"This is going to be a combo attack, isn't it?" I grumbled as I walked over to one of the support pillars of the tower, readying myself as Mr. Popo pulled out a pair of chains from probably the same place he got his pliers before chaining me to the pillar and gripping the edge of my tail tightly.
The pain was intense, but I forced myself to forgot about it by repeatedly banging my skull against the pillar right before my eyes widened as information flashed across my vision, my limbs going slack just in time as an intense and searing pain erupted around my entire body.
I tried to struggle and get away, but I forgot about King Kai mentioning that the information transfer would leave me paralysed for a while as I couldn't even scream, feeling every muscle in my body spasming as centimeter after centimeter was slowly being ripped from my body.
After what felt like days but was probably only minutes, the pain finally began to subside and feeling returned to my limbs, a gasp escaping my lips as I fell back onto the comforting cold tiles of the Lookout Tower.
Looking over at Mr. Popo, the man had the same smile on his face as he put the bloody pliers and chains into the infinite storage dimension that was his pockets, the genie smiling and patting me on the back before my eyes widened as I felt something swaying and flicking through the air behind me.
Turning my head, I couldn't help the tired grin as I saw the bloody tail slowly swaying through the air, with it twitching and flexing every time I flexed my lower back before I groaned as I slowly began to sat upright.
Like it was a reflex, my new tail wrapped around my waist to secure itself safely, making me sigh in relief at that as I slowly stood up before wincing as I felt a flash of pain up my spine.
"Don't worry. According to King Kai, the pain should be gone in a few hours. Now, I do believe you have somewhere you want to be, correct?" He spoke and I gave a nod and a thankful smile as I patted Mr. Popo on the shoulder before walking over to my top and staff, placing the Power Pole back into its holster.
Forgoing the need to put on my top as I simply threw it over my shoulder, I took a deep breath and made my way towards the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
"Good luck~" Mr. Popo called out as I took my first step into the building of the Lookout Tower and I gave him a thankful smile as I walked towards the one and only door I was going to open, taking another deep breath as I stopped in front of a dark oak door with a caving of an hourglass on the front of it.
'Well, here goes nothing.' I thought with a frown as I opened the door, walking into the room before closing it behind me as I finally took a look at my home for the next year.
The living area wasn't that bad, with two double beds, a functioning fridge along with a bath, a shower and even curtains to close off the beds from the rest of the area when I actually wanted to sleep.
The large hourglass and the loud clock in the background were a bit annoying at first, but I'm certain that I'll get used to them the longer I'm in here.
The thing that caught my attention the most and shocked me was what I saw as I walked out of the living area, feeling the oppressive and dense air around me as I stared at what was nothing but a white abyss as far as the eye can see.
'I can see why Father couldn't handle being in here.' Even for someone that's been mentally tormented by the Androids for over a decade, the eerie silence and the heavy air was enough to make my hands tremble, forcing me to clench them into fists a few times before taking a deep breath as I nodded and threw the top of my gi onto the ground.
Pulling the Power Pole from its holster, I took a deep breath as it expanded to match me in height, slowly spinning the pole with one hand before readying myself as I took breath and lunged forward.
Time for some good ol' training.
Spinning through the air, I gave a round house to my imaginary foe while expanding the Power Pole in front of me, the staff expanding to triple my length as I spun it above me to knock away anyone trying to attack from behind.
Retracting it in that same moment while spinning around on my heel, I grunted as I threw it as hard as I could in the direction I was looking, watching as the staff cut through the air like a spear before freezing midair.
With my hand outstretched, I smirked as I pulled the staff back while making it spin like a saw, quickly jumping into the air while making it fly to my hand before growling as I spun & made it grow and expand to the size and weight of a bullet train right before slamming it into the ground with a deafening boom.
The ground trembled as shockwaves travelled across the ground while I made it retract back to its usual length once more, floating in the air while holding the staff behind me as I stared at the ground slowly stopping its trembling.
"Three months of training and I'm already a natural with this thing." I muttered out loud with a smile as I retracted the Power Pole to the size of a toothpick, not even flinching anymore as I placed it into the earring hole I made behind my ear.
Shaking my head to make sure it was good, I hummed as I looked at my stump of a left arm, frowning a bit as I sat down before taking deep breaths as I began to accelerate the ki flow through my body.
With each deep breath, I could feel my ki growing more and more out of control as my rage spiked, taking a final deep breath before grunting as a devastating explosion echoed around me.
Slowly opening my eyes, I smirked as I felt tremendous power surging through my body and the golden aura surrounding my form, a bit hesitant on what I was about to do next as ki gathered in my hand in the shape of an orb the size of my head before I slowly changed its properties to fit that of what King Kai had shown me.
Not daring to look down at the orb as I continued to look up at the sky, I spun and threw the orb into the distance as far as I could, taking another deep before flying after it and snapping my eyes open right as I felt the Blutz waves of the ki orb washing over me.
However, I growled as I snapped my eyes shut and shot out another ki blast at the orb, taking a few deep breaths to calm my breathing as I slowly felt my rage and hatred for everything around me disappearing.
'Holy shit, that was intense.' It felt similar to when Gohan first transformed into Super Saiyan, but just amped up to a ridiculous level to the point that I don't even believe that I could do that again and be able to stop myself from transforming into an ape again.
'Should I just try to master Super Saiyan instead? …Hah, no. Even if I did, I don't think it would make me strong enough to be able to handle two Androids at once. Speaking of which, I thought the Androids of this timeline were supposed to be far weaker than the ones from the present timeline. So, were these boosted or something?' I thought with a frown as I floated down to the floor, the living area nothing but a speck in the distance as I contemplated my Android situation.
If they were stronger, then that means I'm either in another one of the other timelines or…
'Someone or something made them stronger to force me to grow stronger, but why? And who? Hah, Zeno, maybe? Nah, why would someone like he be worried about someone like me. Whoever it was, they want me to struggle & succeed in winning…so that's what I'll do.' With a newfound determination, I created the Blutz Orb/ Power Ball once again while staring directly at it this time, spinning as it finished forming before throwing it as hard as I could into the air.
Watching as the orb sailed up high, I unclenched my fist and felt a gasp escaping my mouth as the Blutz Waves slammed into me with the force of a ki blast from #17.
My entire body trembled and a low growl escaped my lips, but I reached up and repeatedly smacked my skull with my only arm as I continued to watch the orb, my attention focused entirely on the nice glowing ball as I felt my body growing and bulging out.
'Focus! Focus! Focu…Ooh, it's nice~ It's so pretty and bright and irritating and annoying and I just want to destroy it and rage and destroy and kill and Destroy AND KILL! Rip! Tear! Kill! Destroy!' No matter how much I tried to focus, murderous and destructive thoughts echoed in my mind as I felt my body going slack, feeling my breathing growing louder and louder until I opened my mouth and let out a monstrous roar that would have made even the strongest of foes tremble.
"WWRROOOAAAAAAAAAAIIIIHHHHHH!"
A/N: And we're ending on a cliffhanger as Gohan may have bitten off more than he can chew.
Will he survive it & will he conquer it or will he be like any other Saiyan learning to control their Oozaru Form and destroy everything around him?
