Chapter 4: Team Placements
On the morning of team placements, we see Naruto running around the village soon two voices shout about youth. Then two blurs of green are running alongside Naruto. "How are you doing on this most youthful morning Naruto-san? The taller of the two shouted. Naruto chuckled slightly "Everything is going well Guy-sensei. How are you?" "I am as youthful as always." Guy answered "How are you my eternal Rival?" the smaller one said, "Hmm you say something, Lee?" Naruto said casually causing Lee to trip. "Curse you and your hip attitude."Lee responded, "Let's have a most youthful challenge I will take you down this time." "Sure what do you want to do?" Naruto asked, "Let's race to the top of the Hokage monument and back with no wights." Naruto thought about it for a moment then looked towards Guy "Will you allow that Guy-sensei?" Guy nodded "It is a most youthful challenge." then all three of them stopped near a lone tree. Lee proceeded to remove his leg wights and placed them by Guy. Naruto put up a Half Ram seal and said "Kai." releasing all his weight and resistance seals Guy stood to the side of them one of his arms in the air "Hajime." the two took off and in 30 minutes Naruto showed up first followed by Lee both out of breath "I win Lee what is the score now." Lee looked up at Naruto "It is now 18-25 in your favor but I will catch up and surpass you my eternal rival." Naruto smiled at him "I'm sure you will anyway how is Tenten?" Guy looked at Naruto Why not come and ask yourself?" Naruto looked at Guy "You and Lee know what I carry and if people saw me conversing with her they would begin to hate her and I don't want that for someone I care for." Naruto said sharply. Lee looked at Naruto "We know but I also know you are also afraid that Tenten will hate you if she knew you carried Kyu." Naruto didn't say anything but nodded at his friend's words "You know she won't hate you. Right?" Lee asked. Naruto then looked towards the sky noticing the time Naruto put up a HAlf ram seal again and said "Kai." Replacing his seals " I need to go." Naruto then left back to his apartment when he got there he took a shower and did his morning routine. He changed into the real shinobi outfit that he got when he was younger but he added a pair of fingerless gloves with intricate seals on them. Seals allow Naruto to place a seal with his chakra just by touching a target. Naruto then went to the academy early when he got to class he was the first one there he took a seat in the back where he placed himself in a location with a view of all the exits so he could react quickly either to attack or escape.
After a few hours, the students began to file in. Some gave curious looks towards Naruto or ignored him completely soon Sasuke entered the fangirls that passed slide over to offer him a seat but he ignored them and went and sat by Naruto. Without a word, Naruto just nodded and moved over so he could sit. Sasuke was surprised a little by his reaction and who it was because Naruto looked and acted different than his normal loud and annoying self. What sounded like a stampede coming down the hall both Sasuke and Naruto slapped their foreheads in annoyance the door slammed open "Ha I beat you Ino-pig." said Sakura a pink-haired banshee screamed out a small involuntary growl came out of Naruto shocking Sasuke cause he was not expecting that. "Yeah Right forehead girl, you wish I entered before you." Ino responded, "No way my toe entered before anything else." Sakura said after. Then they ran forward standing beside Sasuke "Good morning Sasuke-kun can I sit with you?" they both asked at the same time he ignored them and looked towards the window just beside Naruto when they followed his look they saw Naruto "Naruto-Baka, move out of my seat so I can sit by my Sasuke-kun and stop trying to act like cool I will never go out with you" Sakura screeched out "Haruno please be quiet no one appreciates your howler monkey voice." Naruto said calmly this took everyone by surprise except two Shikamaru Nara and Shino Aburame. However, Suprise turned to anger Sakura was pissed she then raised her arm and went to punch Naruto however he coated his hand in chakra and stopped it mid punch causing a shockwave to go through the classroom Naruto then vanished in a burst of speed and placed a silencing seal on the back of Sakura's neck muting her and then reappeared back in his seat "Now be quiet there is a silencing seal on you and will stay there until I release it."
Sasuke looked at Naruto in shock as the others in the class soon the doors opened revealing Iruka " Good morning class." Iruka said but everyone was quiet and they were looking at something. He turned his gaze to the source and when he laid his eyes on Naruto his eyes almost popped out of his head but he composed himself. "Everyone please take your seats." when no one reacted he performed his own original Jutsu Demonic Big-Headed No Jutsu "Sit down you brats!" everyone snapped out of their shock and scrambled to their seats and sat down. Soon Iruka told them how proud he was of them and told them about the challenges ahead after he was down he said "Ok time to list off the teams and the Jonin Senseis team 1…" Naruto tuned him out until it came to his team "Team 7 Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and..." Before he finished a still-muted Sakura she jumped up with hands up in the air trying to say something but couldn't she turned her glare to Naruto. Iruka looked and said, "What did you do Naruto?" Naruto shrugged "I'm not sure but it might be her time of the month and she may need to go to the bathroom. I'm not sure." all the girls shudder but the boys look confused. Iruka's eyes widen "Anna please take her." Anna jumps up and takes her away all the while Sakura thrashes about trying to kill Naruto. Iruka then looks at Naruto and asks"How do you know about that?" Naruto looks at him when you are punished and told to read about biology you learn a few things. I have to say it was very educational and I have been thinking about trying to learn healing Jutsu but no one in the hospital is willing to teach me. Anyway, who was the third member of team 7?" Iruka refocuses "Right the third member is you with your sensei being Kakashi Hatake. Team 8 will be Shino Aburame, Kiba Inuzuka, and Hinata Hyuga your Jonin sensei is Kurenai Yuhi team 9 is still in circulation. Team 10 will be Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akimichi your jonin Sensei is Asuma Sarutobi and I want to say again I'm proud of you all continue to carry the Will of Fire. Your senseis will be here in a moment right after he said that Sakura walked in and glared at Naruto. Right behind her, a woman whom Naruto found very gorgeous walked in she had a tall figure and long wavey hair that looked a little wild but what caught his attention was her wine-red eyes that were not just pretty but held strength and warm kindness behind them. Behind her was a man with a short-trimmed beard taller than the woman he had a cigarette in his mouth and a bandana tied to his waist with the kanji of fire on it he was trying to get her attention "Come on Kurunai give me another chance." The man asked " but she ignored him she then spoke: "Asume no let's focus on our teams. Team 8 come with me." Kurunai said then Kiba, Shino, and Hinata got up and walked to follow her. Then Kiba spoke up "Cool we have a babe for a sensei I like this even more." before anything else was said Kiba got knocked out no one saw anything except for the Jonin who could track Naruto's movement but just barely. Naruto was looking out the window pretending he didn't see anything. The Jonin was shocked, to say the least Asume then shook it off and spoke up "Team 10 with me." Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji got up and followed him. Still confused about what happened.
Two hours had passed and the only team left was Team 7. Naruto was sitting meditating and communicating with the Kyuubi Sasuke was brooding and looking out the window and sometimes glancing at Naruto, Sakura was trying to scrape off the seal which Naruto forgot about. Soon the door opened revealing a man with silver gravity-defining hair and he looked at the three "My first impression of you all is you're boring. Meet me on the roof." then he vanished in a puff of smoke they all looked at each other and went to the roof when they got there the saw Kakashi sitting on the rail reading an orange book when he saw them he put it away and looked at each of them "Ok let's make introductions." Naruto spoke up "What do you wish to know?" Kakashi thought about it "Your Name, Likes, dislikes, dreams for the future. That kinda stuff. I'll go first my name is Kakashi Hatake my likes are not your concerns…" he then pats his pouch." I have some dislikes. And dreams for the future hmmm I haven't thought about it." all three think to themselves We only found out his name. "You pinky." he points to Sakura who only began to scratch at the back of her neck. Everyone was confused until Naruto Slapped his head "I forgot." He placed a half ram seal "kai" undoing the silencing seal. Sakura then howled like a banshee again "I'm going to kill you Naruto-baka." then she turned her gaze to Kakashi and hollered even louder "Don't call me Pinky!" Naruto then said "Kai" lowering her voice to normal talking while she was still screaming. Kakashi looked momentarily shocked Naruto then said "Can you please do introductions before I do them for you Haruno" She shuddered my name is Sakura Haruno the person I like is…" She glanced at Sasuke "My dream is too…" She looked at Sasuke and giggled. Sasuke noticeably shivered and moved away from her Kakashi then said "Your dislikes?" Sakura then shouted as best as she could I hate Ino-pig and Naruto-baka." Kakashi nodded and looked towards Naruto you blondie before Naruto said anything Sasuke spoke up "Will you please shut her up and keep her shut up until I leave" Sakura was talking and annoying him Naruto nodded and then muted her and she began to try and yell while also looking hurt by what Sasuke said "Anyway my name is Naruto Uzumaki I have another but for my protection I will not say it. I like seals and improving on them I love Nature. My dream unlike what others think I do not wish to become Hokage. What I want is to train a genin team of my own; I have someone I want to train and I hope that I'll be able to take him when he becomes a genin though that may not happen. I want to pass on the sealing skills of my clan. I dislike those who judge others before getting to know them people who can't tell the difference between a scroll and what it holds, perverts, Rapest, and those who think women are nothing but baby factories. Kakashi looked at Naruto "What clan and what level of seal master are you?" Naruto looked at Kakashi in his one visible eye "The Uzumaki Clan. and I am a level 6 Uzumaki sealing master on par with Jariya of the Sannin." Naruto stated with a matter-of-fact tone Kakashi's one visible eye widened and then he shifted back to lazy "I see I will have to confirm this with the Hokage." Naruto nodded at Kakashi. He then looked towards Sasuke "What about you Sasuke?" Sasuke took a breath in "I am Sasuke Uchiha. I don't like anything and I hate a lot of things. What I have is not a dream up an ambition I will kill a certain someone." Kakashi nodded "Ok meet me at training ground 3 at 6:00 in the morning oh and I would recommend not eating breakfast. Later." Kakashi left in a swirl of leaves. Naruto stood up "I will see you guys before 9 tomorrow and I would eat if I were you. At least I am but it is ultimately up to you." Sasuke left without a word "Kai" Naruto shouted and then disappeared before Sakura could say anything.
