AN: hey everyone I know I'm taking forever to update sorry bout that. Life is just way to complicated lately and it seems that if you tell your boss you are getting married they cut your hours down to nothing! My new manager gave me a whole 8 hours a week! What the hell is with that bullshit? I have been there longer then all the other ple she has there and can run the damn place by myself and she tells me that she has to work with what she has?! What the hell does that mean? Anyway sorry to go on like that just had to get it off my chest here's the next chapter hope you all like it R&R plz.

Chapter thirteen

(Sess pov)

I kissed Rin until the roaring in my head calmed and I could see past the red haze that had covered my vision. I could still see those pictures scattered all over the floor and my blood boiled. How dare that miserable excuse for a demon even think to look at my Rin in such a way! My grip on Rin tightened and I knew if I wasn't careful I could hurt her, but she made no protest at all just continued to kiss me, trusting that I would never hurt her.

I couldn't help but remember walking toward the front of the classroom to answer the question on the board and accidently knocking the folder off the demons desk as I passed. When I looked down and saw what the pictures were of I couldn't have stopped myself from grabbing the filth.

Rin made a small noise in her throat and brought my full attention back to the here and now. Somehow my hand was under her t-shirt and very nearly on her breast. My demon roared his demands in my head, but I ignored him and moved my hand. Rin didn't seem to think she had to remove her soft hands from under my shirt and I was only too happy to let her keep them there.

No take her! Claim her now!

My demon yelled in my mind. I once more ignored him and concentrated on Rin instead. We had wound up on the grass under a willow tree and I knew no one was anywhere near the two of us. I had needed to get her away from everyone to have her to myself, my demon had demanded it. Knowing it was the only way to calm the killing rage rushing through my blood I had done just that, but now I had to wonder if it had been such a good idea.

She is ours take her! Mark her now so everyone will know she is ours!

I growled digging my claws into the grass near Rin's head. The growl seemed to break through the mist in her mind as she opened her eyes and pulled away from me slightly. No more than a few inches but enough for her to see clearly into my eyes.

Enough to see the fight I was having with myself reflected in them. Seeing nothing that worried her she smiled and lifted her hand to my cheek. I leaned into her soft hand and closed my eyes. It wasn't until she moved her right leg that I became aware of the position we were in.

Biting back a groan my eyes snapped open to lock onto her beautiful brown eyes. Sometime during our kiss I had pinned Rin under me and placed body between her long jean clad legs. It appeared I hadn't been as in control as I had thought. Rin moved just slightly and my whole body went tense.

"Sess?"

I opened my eyes not knowing I had closed them and saw hers were filled with concern and confusion. "It's nothing Rin. Just hold still alright."

I saw realization come into her eyes as she noticed for the first time just how close the two of us were. I had to smile as her face went bright red. Lifting my lower body away from her I laid down next to her in the grass placing my face in the nook between her shoulder and neck. I breathed deep so that I could take as much of her sent into my lungs as possible, loving that she snuggled close and ran her small hands through my hair. For a long time we stayed that way not moving or talking just lying there. She kept running her fingers through my hair and I knew that was doing a lot more to calm me than anything else.

Still I kept my face buried in her soft skin letting her sent fill my lungs and stubbornly ignoring my demon telling me to claim her. Now was definitely not the time for that. When she shivered I rolled onto my back taking her with me so that she was sprawled across my chest. Rin giggled and pushed herself up on my chest so she could see my face.

Not saying anything for the moment she just swirled her finger around on my chest. Then in a soft voice filled with laughter and some emotion I couldn't name she said, "At least it has been warm the last few days, otherwise we would both be covered in mud right now." The smile she sent me was so full of mischief I knew she would have cared about a little bit of mud as much as I would have. Not one damn bit.

( Rins pov)

Sess smirked and I could feel the last of the tension ease from his body. Something I was very glad of as I knew he was struggling with himself right now and didn't want things to be any harder for him then they had to be. With a sigh I cuddled up as close as I could get to his warm body. His arms came around me and held me tightly. I knew he was still having a hard time with whatever was going on in his mind as his hands rubbed my back in an absentminded way. But I had done all I could to help him the rest was up to him, so I left him to his thoughts and thought about what had just happed between us.

Really it wasn't much at all but at the same time it was something major. Sess had lost a bit of his ever present control and in that space of time his demon was present. I had sensed a need in him, something strong and demanding but couldn't quit tell what it was. I knew Sess wouldn't tell me at the moment and so I left it alone, letting him calm down and regain his control. Knowing that if he didn't he would just track down that demon and finish what he had started.

I don't know how long we stayed like that but I must have fallen asleep as I woke with a star sometime later when Sesshomaru's cell rang. Without moving me off his chest he answered in his normal cold tone. "What?"

He licensed for a moment then lifted his head just enough to look into my eyes. "You hungry?"

Until he asked I hadn't been but as I thought about it my stomach growled and his eyes lit with amusement. He didn't even wait for me to answer him he just spoke to the person on the other end of his cell. "We'll be there in a minute."

Then he hung up and pulling me up with him stood. It was only then that I noticed that then sun was high in the sky, when I looked at my phone to see the time I was shocked to learn that it was 12:30pm. I felt Sess shrug and looked up into his beautiful amber eyes.

"So it took a while for me to calm down."

He said it with such a serious look on his handsome face that I couldn't help but laugh. His answering smirk was instant. He set me on my feet but didn't let go till he was sure I was steady. Then he took my hand and started to walk back to the house, I smiled and walked close to his side.

I thought that we would be questioned when we sat down with his parents but neither one said anything about us skipping school, just talked and ate lunch as if this was one of the millions of times I had come over after school or on the weekend to spend time with Sess. It was nice but I knew that when I got home my uncle would be giving me the third degree. But for now I just sat there with Sess and enjoyed the day.

(Kagome's pov)

By the time lunch came around I had been asked at least a million times what was going on between Sesshomaru and Rin and was more than ready to go home. But more then that I wanted to know what exactly had happened that morning. I couldn't seem to get a whole answer from anyone and the teachers weren't talking.

I sat down next to Inu and tuned into what the others were saying.

"Yeah the dude had loads of pictures of Rin, from every were we go not just here at the school." Koga was saying to Miroku.

"Did he say why he had them?" Ayame asked from next to Sango.

"Said it was for school, but if that was the case why did he only have pictures of Rin and why would he have some of her outside of school?" Inuyasha demanded.

"That's what has all the teachers talking right now. I mean they can't really punish Sess either, we all know that any demon would have reacted the same way." Miroku put in looking over at a teacher walking in and looking around. The rest of us glanced over and that was when the teacher saw us and started to walk over.

"Uhoo, wonder what he wants." I said popping my last chip into my mouth. We all sat in silence as the teacher made his way over to our table. When he got to us he just stood there for a moment and we all just looked at him, not one of us was going to talk until he spoke.

Finally in a very stern voice he asked, "You all are friends with Sesshomaru Takayashi and Rin Higarashi correct?" we all shared a look and nodded at the same time. "The principle would like to see all of you in his office now."

As he said nothing else and didn't make a move to leave we all stood to follow him to the front office where the principle was waiting for us; his normal smile gone his big eyes somber. He just looked at us and then moved so we could file into his office. After he had shut the door he motioned for us to have a seat, as there were just enough chairs for all of us I knew he had been planning this. Again we all shared a look and just waited for him to speak. He looked us all over then took a deep breath.

"Well it looks like we have a very serious problem here."

After saying this he just looked at us all again like we would say something. Naturally we said nothing just sat there waiting for him to go on. When he didn't I finally spoke, "Mr. Totosai what exactly are we here for?" Something flashed in his eyes but it was gone before I could tell what the look had been.

"Well Miss Higarashi I need to know just what is going on between you're cousin and Takayashi. This is the second time he has attacked a student not to mention the teacher and this time the other boys parents are trying to press charges. So I need to know what is going on with the two."

Once he finished talking we all answered at the same time. "They're dating."

Silence was the only response to this statement. Then after he just looked at us for a moment the shocked look slowly was replaced with a blank expression. Mr. Totosai cleared his throat and opened his mouth only to have nothing come out, so he tried again.

"Have the two of them been together long?"

Once more we all answered as one. "A while."

"Hmmm, well what is she to him? Are they serious?"

Inuyasha was the one to answer this in a tone of voice that suggested the principle wasn't very smart.

"She's his mate."

Again that look flashed in his eyes and I couldn't tell what it was. "Are you sure of this?"

"Of course I'm sure! What else could she be?" Inuyasha spoke up once more the rest of us just looking at him, sitting in his chair his arms behind his head just glaring at the principle. "I mean come on he lets her get away with calling him fluffy!" at this I swear I saw a smile twitching at Mr. Totosai's lips. "Not only that but she got between a murderous full blooded dog demon and his pray not once but twice and they walked away relatively unharmed. What did she get for doing this, not so much as a bruise. So yeah I'm sure she is his mate."

Silence filled the room once Inu was finished talking, we all just sat there looking at Mr. Totosai waiting to see what he would say.

After what seemed a lifetime he spoke. "Well that makes this so much easier then; can't blame the boy if she belongs to him. Now who has the pictures that started this whole mess?"

Koga lifted his finger and the principle turned his attention to him. "Let me see them so I can see if they are just photos for the school newspaper."

"I better get all these back before we walk out of here sir."

"Why is that?" Mr. Totosai asked one thin eyebrow raised as he held the pictures in his old hands.

"Simple, Sesshomaru told me to pick them up before he walked out and there is no way in hell I'm going to see him later without those."

"Hugh, far enough." As he looked threw the photos his eyebrows furrowed. "No, not very many of these can be claimed as for the paper. Only fifteen or so are even on the school grounds."

With a shake of his head Mr. Totosai handed Koga the photos and sat back in his chair. "Alright you all may go I have the answers I was looking for." We all stood and walked out as fast as we could without running.

"Man Inu how did you come up with that so fast?" Ayame asked as we walked to our lockers to get our stuff.

"What do you mean?" Inu asked confused.

"The whole mate thing how did you come up with that so fast?"

Inu just looked at her for a moment then shook his head, "I wasn't lying she really is his mate."

That made everyone stop dead and just stare at Inuyasha. "Tsk, don't tell me none of you had figured that out yet?" When none of us spoke he just shook his head and started walking again. "And you all say I'm dense." That of coarse started an argument and everyone rushed to catch up with Inu.

(Kitty pov)

I watched as all the bitches' friends walked off together I was glad I had followed them out of the cafeteria as I had been able to over hear a bit of the conversion going on. I can't believe that bitch was trying to steal my man! Well we'll just have to see about that!

AN: I am soooooooooooooooo sorry it took so long guys thanxs for being patient with me life is complicated right now with two jobs and planning a wedding sad to say I had to let this sit for a bit and when I finally had time to write I had completely forgot my train of thought and had to read my story over to find it again! But here you go finally chapter 13 R+R PLZ?!
