Rin's POV

I awoke feeling far more confutable than I have ever felt in my life and not really knowing why. Well, that was until my pillow moved. As it moved up and down, I opened my eyes to find the reason still fast asleep. Not moving more than my head and as little as possible, I looked up at Sesshomaru's face. The calm peaceful look suited him at least I thought so, I knew others would think something was really wrong with him as that was an expression he never shows. That or any expression really at least to anyone other than me something I was more than fine with if we were being honest.

A raging blush ingulfed my face as soon as Sess opened his beautiful eyes to see me staring at him. It only worsened when he said nothing just wrapped me in his strong arms and pulled me further onto him warm hard chest. He smirked at me and refused to let me slide off him even though I could hear footsteps heading our way. He simply pulled me closer and kissed me right on the lips right as the footsteps got to my open door!

"Really now, dad would flip if he saw this you two." Came Kagome's far to amused voice. She let out a giggle as she continued on down the hall.

I tried to pull away again, but Sess was having none of that, with no effort at all he kept me right where he wanted me until I just stopped fighting him. With a few more soft and tender kisses he finally pulled away but kept me right on top of him. He simply looked into my eyes for a moment not saying a word then whispered,

"Good morning my Rin."

In a voice that was soft with an emotion I couldn't quite name.

I couldn't hold his gaze for more than a second knowing my face had to be at least as red as an apple by now.

"G-Good morning Sesshomaru," the words came out soft as a breath and I knew if he wasn't a demon there was no chance, he would have heard them. It didn't matter that was the best I could do at the moment, and he knew it. Smirking like the devil he finally released me, and I made my escape before he changed his mind and kept me prisoner forever.

Quickly I grabbed clothes for the day and started for the door, glancing over my shoulder I saw he had sat up and was sitting on the edge watching me. I couldn't name the intense gleam in his amber eyes, but it sent shivers down my spine. Shivers I liked and would like to feel again.

"I-I'll be right back," was my whispered parting before I fled down the hall to the bathroom not even giving him a chance to respond.

It didn't take me long to dress still by the time I headed back to my room my aunt was calling us all down to eat. Sess met me at the door, and we made our way down. Saying good morning to everyone I sat next to Sota and Sess too the other seat on my left. We both knew there was a good chance he would be suspended for what went down yesterday just like we both knew there was no chance he would actually go home while I was there.

Sango honked outside and we all looked toward the door then almost as one the three of us got up, Kagome bet us to the door, and we followed her out. Once we got to the school and parked Sess and I split from the others and headed into the building to talk with Mr. Totosai. As we walked into the main office Mr. Totosai came to his door and motioned us right in.

Waving his arm toward the chairs he simply said, "Sit."

Knowing my demon as well as I did, I didn't need to look over to see his amber eye narrow to slits but I did anyway and smiled as I grabbed his hand to pull him to the chairs and make him sit next to me. For a moment the only sound was our breathing as we all looked Mr. Totosai looked at us and we looked back. Then he let out I huge sigh and ran an old wrinkled hand down his tired face.

"I hate to do this," He started in a defeated tone his large dark eyes bouncing from me to Sesshomaru before coming to rest on me, most likely because I was trying to kill him with my eyes. "I'm goin to have to suspend Mr. Takayashi for two weeks," he paused and glanced nervously at Sess when he growled lowly. "You can of course drop off and pick up Miss Higarashi…. you simply won't be able to come into the building during the suspension." He continued quickly. Not wanting to make this worse to spoke up keeping my hand in Sesshomaru's.

"That's fine sir, we understand completely," glancing playfully at Sess I couldn't stop the little half smirk that pulled up the edge of my lips as I finished my sentence, "He has been misbehaving lately." All I got for my trouble was an eye roll!

Not saying a word and not giving anyone else a chance either Sess stood and took my willing self with him, I was able to give a small wave to an amused principle on the way out. We went straight out the front doors and over to our group of friends, they took one look at the expression on my face and knew Sess was getting suspended for his latest bit of mischief. Really it wasn't a laughing matter but at the same time it was ice cold Sesshomaru getting suspended for overly aggressive behaver! It was a bit funny. To us at least. Before any thing could be said the bell rang telling everyone it was time to head in, at first no one moved the Koga and Ayame started for the doors with Miroku and Sango following a few steps behind. Kagome squeezed my hand with a smile on her way past me, leaving just me Sess and Inu by the car. Sess still had my small handheld firmly in his larger one, as if I would disappear if he let go. I was in no hurry to spend my day without him, so I didn't even try to leave. Inuyasha's amber eyes stared into his brothers, and I could tell a silent conversation was going on. After what seemed like an eternity, but was more like a minute or two Sesshomaru gave a slight nod, so small that had I not been watching him so closely I would have missed it. Inuyasha nodded back and with that Sess gently pushed me to his brother releasing me only after Inu had my other hand.

"Come on Rin, we don't want to be late."

If I hadn't met the two of them and known how they are with each other I wouldn't have looked twice at what just went down, however knowing how the two of them fight over just about everything, I was more than a bit curious as to what was said in the silence of their gaze. The gentle pull on my arm had me walking after Inuyasha and looking back at my demon, who was leaning against his car watching me walk away. His arms crossed over his chest and even from five feet away I could see how hard his grip was. Only his iron will kept him there. Knowing he would feel the time apart just as bad if not more than I would I gave him a smile and blew him a kiss before disappearing inside with his brother. Once I turned back to take in my surroundings, I immediately wished I had just looked at the floor or the wall, hell even the back of Inuyasha's head, anything other than the dozens of eyes staring at me like I was some strange new creature that had just been discovered. This day was going to be way to long I just knew it.
