A/N: If you're reading this, it looks like The Force has brought you here. Enjoy the next chapter! And watch those wrist rockets!
Again, I have no clue what is going on with the spacing here. Stopped using Google Docs to see if that was the issue and it's still acting weird. If it looks off for you I truly apologize. Tried fixing it in the paragraph settings and it doesn't work. There's literally like a whole page gap in between one of the pre-chapter Author Notes and I can't seem to get rid of it for some reason. :/
Also, ignore the bot reviews. They're all scams. Kinda wish there was a way for me to remove them in FF Dot net like I can with AO3 but whatever.
Reviews:
Cuteturtle2(AO3): Forgot to address this on the last chapter, but we'll see. At least in terms of challenges. For the most part, I have an idea of what I want to do in the Island segment. Action is a different story. But I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. None of that's going to happen if I don't even finish the interdimensional segment.
G-Man 2.0: Would you believe me if I said adding in Chazz was a spur of the moment type thing? I wanted Eddy to write a story about someone that funny enough, have it actually be true and not a lie. Chazz just happened to randomly pop up in my head for some reason at that time(No, nothing I was doing then was Yugioh related at all).
And I get you about the dialogue length. Finding a good balance between that and moving things along is easier said than done though(for me at least). I guess pacing is the right word I'm looking for? Idk.
The Swooce: Appreciate you still reading regardless. But yeah, these eliminations are tough. At least for me, after like the first few eliminations, every one from there on out is pretty tough. I said it before when someone else asked this to multiple people in the TD X-over Discord server, but I still think eliminations are the biggest challenge for me when writing this season and the last one I did more than anything else.

Today's Challenge Inspirations: Star Wars Battlefront Video Game Series(Mainly every game up to Elite Squadron/Battlefront III. I've played some of the 2015 Battlefront EA game, but I've yet to play any of the second one. Though I have watched some gameplay of it. Compared to when it first came out with the whole loot box controversy the game has actually come a long way. Haven't played the DS version of Elite Squadron either, which is where the four-team thing comes from. I believe this is still the only game to date to ever have all four main factions be able to go against each other)
Intro: Star Wars the Clone Wars Intro(The quote used is inspired by Jalen Hurts, who said something very similar to the quote used)
Ginrai12 on FF Dot Net for indirectly giving me this idea as he suggested this on someone else's season. Thanks to him I actually decided to reinstall Elite Squadron. Some of it for research purposes so I can refamiliarize myself with some things. Some of it just because lol. Forgot how much fun that game was. Can't say enough how criminally underrated this game is in the Battlefront series.
Special Guest for Today's Episode: ?
A/N: Finally, I'd like to give a big shoutout to the guys at Free Radical Archive and their Discord server for making the full Battlefront 3 game at least somewhat a reality with the unreleased Xbox 360/Wii builds they discovered and released for everyone to try out and play. Would have never discovered or learned as much as I do about the history of its development, and its ultimate cancellation, and how much Rebellion tried to salvage as much as they could from the game in Elite Squadron, without coming across their server from online and joining it(I forgot where and how I discovered the server though, it's been a while since I joined it). Honorable mentions are all of the peeps responsible for restoring the online multiplayer for the classic Battlefront games as well(OpenSpy and their Discord server, the Elite Squadron Discord server, etc.).
(For anyone curious about these servers and wants to join any of them just shoot me a PM with your Discord name for an invite to them. That or just DM me in Discord if you're in the TD X-over server.). With that out of the way, let's get on to the episode!
Instead of the usual intro, the beginning of a fake Star Wars crawl made from a black screen with the words Total Drama Across The Multiverse in Star Wars font zooming out was seen. A royalty-free cover of the Star Wars crawl theme was being played in the background. No, not even that. It was a royalty-free cover of the Clone Wars opening.
Blue text appeared on the screen that read, "A fool isn't someone that makes mistakes. A fool is someone that refuses to try to learn from them."
"56 contestants remain on the island! The same initial mark as the previous multiverse season, Multiverse Edition." Chef, using a voice changer, narrates.
Footage of some team members acknowledging this in their conversations with others throughout the island is shown.
"Although the remaining cast continues on with their usual routines, by themselves, or with one another, tension in the air looms. As every single one of the remaining hopefuls, even if it is internal, acknowledges that their journey could very well end in the coming days."
Footage is shown of Diana attempting to learn how to play a video game by herself, insisting to Akko that she doesn't need her help, Lucy thanking her teammates, most notably Hiruma and Natsu for being willing to help her through when she had to work around the island, and Diego giving Lotte the advice and confidence to be willing to further learn about Morty's interests, with the former giving the latter an approving thumbs up.
"And with that acknowledgment, there are some that are formulating how they will avoid this fate, and for some of them, by any means necessary. And for others, have other pressing matters on their mind."
Footage is shown of Kaz trying to find some way to learn more about Kunigami's past, which included talking to Isagi and Bachira about it. And when he didn't learn as much as he'd hope to, he confronted Kunigami himself, willing to even fight him to get him to talk, but was immediately broken up by Shiro when he caught wind of what was going on from a distance(moreso Kaz as Kunigami wasn't taking Kaz's challenge seriously). A scene was also shown of Aomine going from happy that his parents sent him a message from home to panic
when he realizes that they'd probably want to talk to Weiss, with the same thing applying with hers. Though she made up an excuse as to why the latter wouldn't happen, saying that they're "both very busy people".
"But, all of those thoughts would need to be pressed aside, as a challenge that pits the teams in all-out 3-way war, lies before them, starting on the desert planet of Tatooine."
The teams were seen in an open area of the planet learning the basics of galactic warfare. With a surprise guest teaching one of them.
"Nice shooting! Remember, every weapon has their strengths and weaknesses. Shouldn't stop you from using what you want, but if you really want to do well, you'll get around those weaknesses and try to play into those strengths. I mean, you obviously can't hope to kill someone from 50 feet away with a shotgun so, that should be a gimme that you should find a way to get closer to them." A Stormtrooper said. This particular Stormtrooper also being a contestant of Multiverse Edition, Gary.
"And cut! Perfect!" Chris called out as he and Chef were not too far from where the training was taking place. But far from where any of said training would interfere with what the two were doing.
"But don't worry. If you ever wanna change weapons, you can always do so with these." Gary runs to a brown droid. "And speaking of which, there's medical droids too. And ammo droids. I think I shouldn't really have to explain much about those. But I do need to explain the one thing that's considered a weapon, but is not a weapon."
"What?"
"Look, just let me explain. Alright, so this right here is a fusion cutter. Outside of maybe smacking someone in the face with it, this thing isn't a weapon. You only use it to fix up vehicles and force opposing vehicles to overheat and kick out everyone in them."
"Oh I see. So the fusion cutter takes up a weapon slot. That's why it's considered a weapon." Rally concluded.
"Yep! Now, let me explain what these are. Well, at least from what I read. Never seen these a day in my life until day." He runs to a black circle-like projector on the ground. It projected a white light. "This is a command post. As long as you stand by it long enough, you'll capture it for your team. You can choose to come back here, change your weapons and-" He yelled frantically when an Imperial Tie Fighter almost crushed him as it appeared out of nowhere. "That happens too. Probably a good idea to watch where you are. Now, I need a Separatist to come over here. I'll step back."
"I got it!" Eijun declared before Furuya had already beaten him to it. "What? Not fair!" "Actually, I think this works too."
The command post was neutralized back to its original white state. In what felt like a shorter time compared to before, the command post was captured in the name of the CIS as their respective symbol was seen projecting above it.
"If that looked faster it probably was. If more of you stand next to a command post, it'll capture faster." He then walks back closer to the post. "And if more than one team's fighting near it, nothing happens until only one team's next to it. Kind of like a stalemate. Any questions?"
"So, let's say we don't have any command posts. What happens then?" X asked. "Oooh good question. I don't know."
"Well, at least he was honest." Axl said.
"Well let's not get to that point to have to find out." Zero said. "So now we get to the starfighters, right?" Todd asked excitedly.
"Yep! We- oh wait, I almost forgot! One super important thing. Follow me, this isn't gonna take long I promise!" Gary jogs forward before going to a room where a chair and a station that had a monitor and other controls was seen.
"Obviously I can't use it now because no one controls it, but there's almost always an ion cannon set up somewhere around here. This is the only way you're gonna be able to control it. So whoever controls the post closest to it, controls the ion cannon too. Just point, charge and fire! If you need some way to take out a capital ship's shields, or you don't feel like going to space, this is the way to do it. Easier said than done but, pretty simple! And no, before anyone asks, you can't destroy capital ships with 'em. Trust me, I think a lot more battles would be over if it could." He explained. "Okay, now we can go to space."
"What about the vehicles? We're not going to talk about those?"
"Eh, they're pretty self-explanatory. Plus, I honestly have no clue how some of those work, so I can't really explain too much. Now, all in favor of going to space on a starfighter instead of having Chris teleport there say 'aye'."
Some people, including Todd, said 'aye'. Others didn't answer, either because they were indifferent or because they really wanted to get going to the next part without having to wait.
"Doesn't matter. Still not doing it."
"But Chris, come on man. I don't see what's the big deal. Your own contestants want to."
"One, that wasn't all of them. Two, we're not waiting to get starfighters to appear for everyone and then someone keeps asking questions and time is wasted. Now let's go. Besides, you can teach them about stuff in the Capital Ships too." Chris said before they all teleported out.
Imperial Star Destroyer(A/N: When writing this, I'm picturing how the interior of the capital ships look in the PSP Version of Elite Squadron instead of Battlefront II, since The Orbital Strike Cannons will be used, along with the chance of the ships being destroyed)
The next thing they knew, everyone was in a Star Destroyer hangar. A command post was seen along with a couple of Tie Fighters and a Tie Bomber. As seen by the symbol, the Command Post was already in control of the Galactic Empire before they arrived.
"There's a command post here too? It's a good thing these aren't real. Otherwise, we'd be in some big trouble." Gary commented.
"Enemy soldiers spawning in your own home turf is kinda unfair, not gonna lie." Morty said.
"Unfair, but that's the name of the game. In a real war, nobody gives a damn about fighting fair. Just be glad that you're not in one, because with you saying stuff like that, you're not gonna last long." Rick said, Rebel Alliance pistol in hand. "And no, this doesn't count. This is simulation. I mean a real war."
"Great job on telling that to your own grandson." Older Bennett said sarcastically. "Nah it's fine. I know he didn't mean anything by it." Morty said.
"It kinda sounded like he did though. Just saying." Louie said.
"And how 'bout you guys stop trying to be offended for people? If he said it's fine, it's fine." Rick said.
"Only way you're gonna be able to take these babies down is by finding the reactor core. And no, I'm not telling you where it is. And that folks, is all you need to know about the inside of a capital ship!" Gary said with a noticeably louder voice than before.
"Wait, that's it? Okay, not showing us how to destroy an Imperial capital ship I can understand but, there's nothing else you need to show us?" Dwayne asked.
"Nah. Oh wait! The Orbital Strike Cannon!" He was about to lead him to where it was and remembered something. "On second thought, never mind. It's not that hard to find I promise. The name kinda gives away what it does. Attack from space and back to the ground. Good way to give your ground guys some space support if they need it."
"Why not just show us this real quick? I'm sure it's not gonna-oh. Now I get it." Huey said.
"Yeah. I do that, you might see the core. But, that's it for in here. Now there's piloting a starfighter. The most fun but at the same time most terrifying thing you'll ever do in these battles."
"Don't worry, we made things simple to get in and out, so you don't have to worry about any of that." Heloise assured the cast. "Same thing applies to ground vehicles too. And turrets."
"So, did you make flying them simpler? What about the targeting system?"
"Ehhhh, nah."
"Then what the heck was the point of- you know what? Beggars can't be choosers."
"I mean it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. Falcon was a pilot and he was able to use a skimmer just fine. There was a whole challenge about that in the merge."
"Those things are not the same thing as starfighters buddy! Y-you know what? I need one of you from each team, come follow me, right now, outside. Don't care who. Just come on." Gary said, gesturing them to follow as he said the last part.
"I've flown spaceships Gary. Your fodder spaceships don't scare me." Rick said.
"I'll take that as a 'I'm coming'. And what do you mean by fodder? Look, we been through this before. If our spaceships are so bad, how come we got elite guys like Vader takin' out rebels left and right?"
"Vader's an exception to the rule. Anakin was literally considered to be a great pilot when he was still Anakin on the Republic."
"You two have experience with piloting right? Go ahead." Din said to Ben and Rook. "Maybe, but we're not as familiar with this stuff as you are." Ben replied.
"You're really not flying Din?" Gary asked.
"I already have experience piloting starfighters. They could use the practice more than me." Din explained.
"Alright. I suppose I will give it a try then." Rook said.
"Maybe we should get PEL to fly it. After all, PEL is the pilot of our bus." Kaz suggested. "Well, I mean it's not like he's done anything else this season really major. So you know what?
I'm all for it. Go ahead and make yourself useful." Fiona said, pushing the floating robot forward.
"I shouldn't do anything for you guys! Call me useless will you?" PEL said. "That should apply to Tsukikage too."
"Actually Shiro has asked Tsukikage to do a few things." Myron pointed out. "I'll do it." Shiro spoke up not even a second later.
"Wait, I wasn't saying that to-"
"Not what I meant. I have experience flying in space, remember? It's fine." "Oh yeah. Kinda easy to forget that." Kaz said.
"Well, how else was he going to be able to travel the universe by himself prior to joining us?" Diego said.
"True. It's just been a while since he joined us, you know?"
"Alright, you guys come with me. Just be ready to hang on." Gary advised them. All four took TIE Fighters and took off to exit the hangar.
"Alright Chris, question." May started. "What's up?" He asked.
"So, what were you guys doing when we were back on Tatooine?" "Oh that. Recording the intro for today's episode."
"Don't you usually do that prior though?"
"Not for today. We decided to do something a little different."
"So like a special intro. Neat!" Scott said as TIE Fighter blaster sounds were heard firing in the background.
A few minutes later, the four returned back to the hangar. "Alright, tell them what happened." Gary said to the three.
"I will admit, I was caught off guard at first. But, it was quite fun." Rook said.
"Eh, I guess it was alright. Wasn't bad. Wasn't exactly anything I'd call 'fun' either." Rick said.
"Just be prepared for the speed. Nothing I say will match what you actually feel when you're flying and fighting." Shiro said.
"Yeah, he was definitely the one caught off guard the most. You can tell by how he's breathing a little harder from the adrenaline." Gary said before laughing a little.
"Like I said, just get ready for the speed."
"Look, if you were scared there's no shame in admitting it-" Hinata started. "I wasn't scared." Shiro said adamantly.
"Alright, I think it's time we get our practice in, right?" Hailey asked, trying to change the subject.
"Nah. I think it's about time we get started. You can learn as you go. Now, with us getting ready to start, you're going to need to know what it'll take for you to officially win today. And that is to
win the first battle. Win and you get first place and you're done for the day. I thought about giving you a prize, but then again, you're gonna be using lightsabers and the force. I think that's enough of a prize right there. Lose and you have to play another one against the other losing team. If you lose a second time, you've got to send someone home today." Chris explained.
"Other than that, these battles, as you've seen with the command posts are based off the Star Wars Battlefront Video Games' conquest mode. Though there's going to be a few differences. For one, you'll have an unlimited amount of troops, so you can die as many times as you'd like. Obviously you wouldn't want to do that but I think you know what I meant. And two, capturing all command posts doesn't mean an instant defeat after a certain amount of time passes. You can appear in the sky with a spaceship. Gunships count as command posts, so if you wanna try to land one, do so at your own peril. I say this because they can easily just be destroyed by the other teams, which will give them points for doing so."
"And that's the last thing. The troop reserve numbers had to be replaced with something, so we replaced it with points. Something that actually has been in a couple of the games, so this isn't something new. Capturing command posts gets you one point for each team that's standing by it to capture it. Defeating opposing team members gives one or two points depending on who it was you took out. Heroes are five points across the board, regardless of who it is. And a bonus two points for defeating anyone that was in a turret, starfighter or vehicle. Taking out the shields of a capital ship gives 100 bonus points, while destroying it gives 250. Outside parts are 25 to 50 points each. Oh, and suicides cause you to lose a point. This doubles for each extra suicide you do in a row. There may be some other things but you'll probably find those things on your own. That's about it. First team to 2000 points or has the most points within 90 minutes wins."
Chris then hit his forehead. "Oh, I totally forgot one more thing. Two, actually. One, there are some cases where you'll be asked if you want to become a hero. You can either accept it or decline and the opportunity will be passed to someone else on your team. And no, you don't have a say in who. With this, you'll become different characters from across the Star Wars universe and be able to use their equipment and abilities. And as a bonus, you might even get access to your own instead. Just know that that isn't forever. If you don't take out opposing players to extend your time, you'll automatically be defeated. So, the more you can rack up a streak, the longer you'll get the benefit of having these abilities to help you."
"In other words, rewarding you for skilled play. Got it." Toxsa said.
"Pretty much the gist of it. And here's the second thing. All of you will be playing. No exceptions."
"What?" Several people said in shock.
"Yes. This is Star Wars! This is galactic warfare! And we're going to make it seem so here. Now, you've already been assigned your teams. Only one more thing needs to be done before you're ready to go."
This was the cue for every one of the participants to have their appearance changed to be who each respective soldier was on their teams. Every one of the contestants changed in a flash of
light. The Rats were the Rebellion. The Kings were the Galactic Republic. And the Breakers were the CIS droid army. Each of them had different color schemes in their appearance to better show and differentiate who was who.
"If everyone's competing, at least give him a place away from the battle." Din said to Chris, referring to Grogu.
"Alright. I think we can work something out." Chris said.
"We could just give him an invincibility shield." Heloise proposed.
"I'd prefer him to not be around the fighting at all. Especially for something like this." Din said. "We could have Dawn watch him." Doyle proposed.
Din was silent for a few seconds before making his decision, nodding and saying, "Go ahead. But, if she's eliminated, how is she going to watch him?"
"We'll just temporarily come get her for this and they relax in the house. Or outside or whatever." Chris said, already having an idea of how this was going to work in his head. "Now, with that out of the way, any questions?"
"So, how are we going to be able to keep track of the scores?"
"Tap your right wrist." Everyone did just that and an indicator for each of the team scores was shown. Each currently had zero naturally because the battle didn't start yet. "And any time you want to see it again, just do the same thing. Anything else?"
"So, where's the Empire? Are they just not gonna be in this?" Morty asked.
"Three teams. Unless there's a fourth that shows up, which isn't happening any time soon, there was always going to be a faction left out of this. Any other questions?"
None were given.
"Alright. Every single one of you have a choice in where you want to start off at for this first game. On the ground, in space, or in your team's capital ship. Remember, regardless of which choice you make, everything is connected. While you do that, your first location will be chosen. And yes, it would have been too obvious to have you fight on Tatooine. You know, the planet you guys trained on. So, we're going somewhere else! Where that is, you'll find out once everyone makes their starting point decisions."
After a few minutes, everyone finished. "Sweet! Your battleground's already been chosen! Good luck everyone!" All of the contestants were teleported out. And interestingly enough, Heloise, Chef, Doyle and Gary were teleported out as well. Sure, Chris did the same thing, but that was because he left the virtual world to spectate the action.
Battleground Area: Naboo; Theed(Star Wars Battlefront I, II(2005), Renegade Squadron, & II(2017 Dice-EA Reboot))
One-by-one, everyone began to appear and began to choose their starting loadouts. Though this was not the case for those that chose to start in space. Instead, they were given the option to choose their starting Starfighter. For the Republic, there were the choices of V-Wings, ARC-170s, and the LA-AT Gunships, which would also double as a portable command post when landed. The CIS has the choices of Droid Vulture Starfighters, Gunships, Tri-Fighters and finally the CIS Strike Bombers. And finally for the Rebel Alliance, there were X-Wing starfighters, Y-Wing Bombers and A-Wing Starfighters along with their own LA-AT Gunships they could choose from.
In space, it wasn't even ten seconds into the game and Weiss was yelling.
"No. I can't do it. I'm going back to the ground." Weiss said.
"It hasn't even been a whole minute yet and you're giving up?" Aomine said to her.
"Yes!"
An explosion was heard a few seconds later.
"The match just started and someone already died. And the most embarrassing part, it wasn't even a kill. Asta crashed. Congrats on putting your team in the negatives." Chris commented as it was in fact, a score of -1 for the CIS on the scoreboard.
"Do you see why I want to stop now?"
"One, we don't even know who that was. And two, just because that happened doesn't mean the same thing's going to happen to you." Aomine said to her.
"Well, I'd rather not take that chance. I don't want to be known as the person that got the first negative score."
"Putting too much self doubt on yourself but whatever. Also, you do realize you have to fly down to the ground to land, right?"
"Well duh. How else am I supposed to get back down there?"
"Sounds to me like you didn't but, whatever. Right behind you."
"You don't have to escort me. I should be able to at least land it."
"You can't even go five seconds without yelling but I'm supposed to believe you can land it. Spoiler alert, I don't. Besides, it's not that big of a deal. I can get just as much action on the ground too."
"Wow. I don't know if I've ever seen a planet in space like this." Tangle commented, in an X-Wing, not even noticing the two Republic starfighters preparing to return to land. Above them in space, the planet of Naboo could be seen below them.
"If anything, it's got a pretty similar look to Earth, don't you think?" X asked. Thanks to their starfighters already having comms built in, there was no need for them to use their own forms of communication. He was piloting an X-Wing as well.
"Well, when you put it that wa-" The second she heard the alert that missiles had locked on to her, she panicked and made several evasive maneuvers, that turned out to be erratic as well as no one around her expected her to do that.
"Droid vulture! Take it out!" A non-player rebel soldier called out.
Morty, also in an X-Wing, had to immediately go wide left to avoid colliding with her.
At the very least, no deaths were caused. And she was able to somehow avoid the missiles.
"Sorry. I panicked." Tangle apologized.
"No time for apologizing!" Lanolin said as she was already in a dogfight with Todd and Reagan, the last two people he expected to really be in a dogfight with, literally.
"Oh Rick, you really don't know what you're missin' with this. This really is fun!" Reagan said, grinning the entire time as she piloted a Droid Tri-Fighter.
"Speak for yourself!" Ayame yelled out in panic, trying her hardest to stay in control as the speed of the Vulture Starfighter she was using.
"Initializing targeting system." A non-player droid said.
"I tried to warn you." Shiro said to her, piloting a Strike Bomber, not even getting a chance to really survey his surroundings as he would have liked as he was under fire from Rook, who was using an ARC-170. Despite him doing his best to try to avoid Rook's shots, including even using its boost to try to get some distance from him, the Plumber's persistence was what got him to eventually get the takedown as one of the back parts of Shiro's starfighter had ignited in flames. He tried to regain control but couldn't, being forced to eject.
Although he wasn't dead, this was still counted as a defeat, crediting Rook with said points for doing so. And for Shiro, he had to choose a Starfighter again.
"So you got your first kill, big deal. I got it first!" Toxsa said, now turning around to fire at him. Which was true. Seconds before, Toxsa was able to score the first kill, taking out Albedo. He thought he got a second kill with Monta, but that seemed to not have been the case, despite part of his ship being on fire as he was frantically yelling inside of it, completely forgetting that he had a parachute until Morty pointed it out to him. But even then, he had lost his composure and was unable to find the button, even though it was right in front of him.
The real first kill though was on the ground, from Hiruma via a rocket launcher, taking out both Maki and Reimu.
"Lotte, you doin' alright?" Morty asked as she was also in space.
"I think I can manage. I don't expect to get everything down my first go, but, I'm thinking of this as like flying a broom, so the fast pace isn't too much of an issue for me." She replied.
"Hey, whatever helps you feel comfortable, I'm all for it. I think it's easy to say a lot of people would prefer to do things feeling comfortable rather than under pressure." Adrien said.
"So is no one gonna talk about how there's a fourth ship?" Zee asked, also in space.
"Wait, there's a fourth ship?" Morty asked before seeing it for himself. It was an Imperial Star Destroyer. "Oh crap, you're right!" There was also a shield reading for it as well. The same as the other three cruiser ships for the three participating teams. For the Republic, there was the Republic Attack Cruiser. For the CIS, there was the Trade Federation Cruiser. And for the Rebel Alliance, the Mon-Calamari Cruiser was seen. And of course, there was interestingly enough an Imperial Star Destroyer. All four were a considerable distance from one another, but still close enough for the space battle that was taking place. Speaking of Star Destroyers, the interior of each were probably the most peaceful places to be. At least for the time being.
CIS Trade Federation Cruiser
"Hey Hailey." Randy started, tapping on her shoulder with a metallic arm.
"What's-" Hailey, taking on the appearance of a Battle Droid, turned and immediately saw the head in front of her and started yelling, genuinely horrified. She backed away, not realizing that she was on the edge of the railing and fell off.
"Whoops." He said, knowing that he just costed his team a point. She reappeared a few seconds later via the command post they were near. This command post, other than the one seen in the hangar, and from the unoccupied gunships was the only other one available in the capital ship. Interestingly, unlike the one in the hanger, a lock was seen on its capture status.
"What is wrong with you!?"
"Okay, I'll admit, that one's on me. Shouldn't have done that that close to an edge like that." Randy said, putting the droid head back on.
"Maybe not do something like that in the first place. I almost fainted. And why is your head. Wait…. My voice. Why is my voice so…." She looked at her arm and realized that it was brown, metallic, and had three fingers. Just like what Randy tapped her with. When she got to look at Rand more, he realized his body took on the appearance of a battle droid, though the top of his chest was red and the backpack of supplies he was wearing were red and black.
"Okay, before you fall off again, cool your jets. You're just a battle droid now. That's it."
"Still doesn't make this any less weird. I wonder how the other teams look. I mean, I'm familiar with Star Wars. But, for me to be an actual Battle Droid?"
"Well, you can always go outside to find out."
"And have a legit heart attack? No thank you."
"You're missin' out. Heck, you're probably like the only person that's not out in space or on the ground."
Slight jogging was heard in the distance as someone else entered the room. "For a second I thought I was the only person in here." The Droid said, with the voice revealed to have been Myron.
"Okay, make that the second person."
"Wait, there's no one else in here?" Hailey asked him in surprise.
"Haven't seen a single soul. At least not until now. I went to take a look around the capital ship."
"Yeah, that's because everyone's outside actually fighting." Randy said. "I have proof. I was just out there. I just came back in here because I was curious if anybody was actually in here."
"I think I'll take my chances on the ground. The issue would be getting down there in one piece." Hailey said.
"Well, you could always take the escape pods if that's what you're worried about." Myron said.
"Escape pods huh? That's actually not a bad idea."
"Count me in too. If someone's gonna be here alone hearing that echo it for sure isn't gonna be me." Randy said.
Leading the others to the location of them, the three took their own escape pods out of the capital ship. What they didn't know was that the pods could be seen descending into the atmosphere by anyone entering or leaving space. Luckily for them, no one spotted them. In space or on Naboo as even the ships flying overhead in the sky were distracted and occupied by their own battles.
Rebel Capital Ship
"I can't believe there's no one else here that chose the interior….." Lucy grumbled, all by her lonesome as she continued to explore the ship. And if she had to be honest, hearing her own echo like she was able to, knowing there was a whole three-team dogfight outside was kinda scaring her. Especially knowing that the shields could go down at any moment. And if they did, she'd be the only defense stopping two different teams from storming the ship and destroying it.
But, she wasn't going to tap out. Any defense was better than no defense. And at the very least, if everyone was outside, that meant there were more people defending the ship from being shot at. So, she decided to sit at the monitor to figure out how the Orbital Strike Cannon works, even if it isn't ready to be used yet.
Naboo; Theed(Ground)
On the ground, this area of the planet where the battle was taking place was actually its capital. It was a city that had many buildings, streets and alleys, with the streets being aligned with several gardens and trees. Each of the buildings had jade green domes on top of them, and one of the main streets led to the royal palace. Though this wouldn't be accessible to any of the teams due to gates blocking entry to said palace.
Five command posts were also available for capture in this location. And currently, the Rats(Rebels) occupied 2, the Breakers occupied 2 and the Kings occupied the last one. Just like the Breakers, all other teams had their outfits changed based on their specific faction. For the Kings, all of them had appearances to some variant of a Clone Trooper, with slightly different details on their armor, helmets, etc. to help tell each team member apart. And for the Rats, all of them wore some type of camo military-themed gear, some wearing berets, some not. The only exception being those wearing pilot gear.
And speaking of pilots, there were still starfighter battles taking place in the skies as well, with some offering support to their ground teammates by raining missiles, blaster fire and bombs from above on enemy infantry and vehicles when they could. Though this seemed to have been a double-edged sword as some teammates were unintentionally taken out in the crossfire at times.
"I'm losing him!" Akko called out, in an X-Wing. She was trying to chase after Hinata, but the agility of the TIE Interceptor he was using made it harder for her to really target him.
"I think I have an angle." Diana said, in an A-Wing. Carefully trying to stay in control, and avoid the other fighters in the sky in the process, she tried to fire at Hinata.
"You got a couple of guys on your tail man! Help is on the way!" Diego said before firing at Diana to try to get her off.
"Oh no you don't!" Akko said before performing a maneuver to get behind him. But any ambition she had to take her out would be gone in seconds as she was hit on the side.
"NO WAYYYYYYYY!" She yelled before being forced to eject. Thankfully for her she was able to safely land on the ground. She sighs as she takes off her parachute. "Well, back to the drawing- BOOOOOARD!" She was suddenly sent flying from a rocket, this time not being able to survive the hit.
"I get to do this to whoever I want, and get rewarded for it? You know, I think I'm gonna enjoy this challenge." Beta said, standing up after being perched on a water fountain, rocket launcher in hand, who was now a smaller battle droid.
"Wow. Looks like the space guys were misssin' out too." Randy commented after landing and taking a look around. He then realized that he was talking to himself as his pod was the only one in the area. But he was quickly welcomed to the battle as a crashed rebel starfighter had come down, with Monta not too far behind it. He breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that him pressing random buttons was able to save him in the nick of time before meeting the same fiery graveyard as the starfighter that he piloted. But his heart rate would continue to be up due to Randy shooting at him. He frantically tried to get out of the parachute, but it was too late. By the time he was able to get out of the parachute, Randy was able to take him out and score his first kill on the ground.
"Someone needs to take out that tank!" May was heard calling out in an area not too far from where the three newest additions to the ground battle were. An IFT-X tank was being driven by Huey while Louie manned the laser turret mounted above. They had not too long ago turned a Droid Army AAT Tank, driven by Eijun with Furuya being the gunner for its additional particle cannon weapon, into the scrapheap. Although the ones inside were able to jump ship before the AAT got destroyed, they were still taken out by Louie, shooting the laser at them that, oddly enough, was more effective at taking out the smaller targets that were are harder to aim at compared to the AAT tank.
"You're supposed to the explosives expert, you do it!" Yulaw replied, taking cover on the left of May, behind a small tree garden.
"What? I can't ask or make a suggestion? Let's not make it seem like everything I use can't be used by someone else. But yeah, I am the explosives expert. But, I'm going to need a diversion, or we're going to be burnt to a crisp too."
Suddenly a green light was seen from above before it grew and an explosion was seen, forcing May and Yulaw to have to shield their eyes along with anyone else in the area along with destroying the tank and the two occupying it.
Yulaw looked back at May.
"Don't look at me. I said I was good with explosives. Not telepathy good." She said.
"Targets destroyed!" Happy declared, saluting before landing on the ground. Although his use of his own magic to fly was restricted, flying itself wasn't. And that was all thanks to him using a jetpack to do so.
"How in the world did you do that?"
"Turbolaser Strike! As you can see it's super effective." He replied, holding said powerful rifle in hand.
"Yeah, a little too effective. Watch those explosions. Apparently friendly fire is a thing here. Which would have been nice to know beforehand." Rally said in the three's comms. She was clearly not happy with him doing that(no pun intended), but at the same time, he didn't want to discourage him as he was racking up takedowns of enemies. Of course, it wouldn't matter now as he was sniped seconds later.
"Turbolaser me will you!?" PEL said, shaking a fist, sniper in other hand. He was also turned into a B1- Battle Droid.
"Yeah, I could have told you guys that. But, it wouldn't have been as funny seeing you guys be confused. And get mad at each other before you eventually found out." Chris said on the comms to her along with the three teammates she was speaking to. "But, now I might as well."
"Attention all contestants. If you've been hurting or taking out your teammates, whether intentionally or unintentionally, or you've been the one that's hurt, one, I'm not a lawyer so don't call me to try to help you. Two, that isn't a mistake. Friendly fire is a thing here. So, I suggest you watch your fire before going crazy with explosives. You'll be penalized the same way you would if you took yourself out of the game. Also, the Galactic Empire is officially joining the fight, effective at this very moment. So if you're in space and you saw the Star Destroyer, that wasn't just there just because."
"So what's going to happen if the Empire wins? We just do this again? I don't think that's fair." Courtney asked as she was one of the three team members along with Ruby and Penny trying to take the Office command post, which dictated control of the Ion Cannon. Currently, it was under CIS control. Though the Rebellion was also attempting to take back control of it as well, after controlling it initially in the beginning minutes of the game. Kagami and Sena were on the opposite side also firing. And right in the middle of them were Miyuki, Hanamiya and Zak, all three as Droideka units with Toxsa and Tsukishima as standard battle droids for support, the latter using a standard blaster rifle and the latter using a shotgun as their primary weapons. Two auto turrets were also set up to support them.
The idea of this being proposed by both Miyuki and Hanamiya, committing at least three players as Droidekas on said command post for spawning and at least one person as a regular droid for support, understanding how valuable the Ion Cannon command post is. Launch was also there firing a chain gun, which was essentially just a laser gatling gun.
"Don't worry. They won't have a score. But, they'll still be just as much of a threat as the other teams. Meaning they can take command posts, they have most of the same weapons and weapon types as you, they have their own heroes, etcetera. Of course, killing them will give you the same points that you would if you killed someone from one of the three teams active already. Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, you've got some help on the way too."
On cue, extra Droidekas spawned in the second the Rebellion and the Republic were able to take the ones that were in the area out.
"We get rid of some, more come in to take their place!" Ruby said, being forced to take cover from the constant fire.
"Just keep fighting! They're doing this because they know how important the Ion Cannon i-." Courtney started before being shot in the head from a blaster shot. This shot being the killing blow for her.
"Courtney!"
"Admittedly, the likelihood of us capturing this command post with such strong defenses from the Droid Army is low, but, low percentages is not zero percent." Penny said.
"If you're trying to say for me to not give up, I won't. But, I gotta admit, it's getting harder and harder to make the case not to." She said before tossing her last scatter grenade. "At least with no help."
"Just hang in there sis! We're coming!" Yang said on the comms, currently in the process of capturing another command post along with Maki and interestingly Sly, who had just disappeared from sight again after the command post was captured. At the moment, they controlled three, while the other two teams only controlled one.
Suddenly, a green explosive was seen around the Ion Cannon command post, annihilating any and everyone in the area. The source being Happy again with another Turbolaser Strike. And him doing three more for good measure.
"Why would you do that? We were sitting right there!" Kagami said to him, respawning at the Rotunda command post, the only command post they currently controlled at the moment along with Sena.
"I did get the command post. That's what you guys were trying to do, right?" He replied.
"You what? There's no way you-"
"The Ion Cannon post has been neutralized!" A Rebel soldier said on the comms. "Communications are now fully up and running!"
"Huh. I stand corrected."
Suddenly, it sounded as if the exceed was struggling for air. "Happy, what's goin' on? Happy!"
"Warning! A Sith Lord has entered the battle! Proceed with extreme caution!" This same Rebel Soldier announced to every member of the Rats.
And Happy himself got to see who it was firsthand, with him succumbing to a Force Choke before meeting his demise to a lightsaber strike from Separatist member Count Dooku. Said member being Urien with the death not even being shown on screen.
"Okay, VR or not I gotta admit that was pretty extreme." Chris commented. "No seriously, I don't even wanna show that on the screen. Can we cut that out if possible?"
"And the difference between that and the Droids?" Doyle asked on comms as he, Chef, Heloise and Gary were on an Imperial Shuttle Gunship with other non-player Stormtroopers.
"A lot, actually. Hence why there was always the gimmick for lower-rated shows, cartoons and movies to use robots instead of real people to beat up on and not have to hold back. Think about how many Droids have been cut in half, beheaded, etcetera."
"Yeah, can we please stop talking about this now?" Gary asked.
"Why? It's just. Oh…" Heloise said, catching on.
Cutting back to the battle, a TIE fighter was seen crashing down to the ground before exploding, the pilot of said fighter being Diego. The culprit being Whisper in an X-Wing. The incoming crashing starfighter forced multiple people to shield themselves or take cover, thinking that it was coming towards them. Though in the end, Diego was the only casualty. The second he ejected, he was inadvertently smashed like a fly being hit by a car. The source being Diana, who just realized that she had just taken someone out. Though she wasn't exactly a fan of the method of it as a couple of droid parts were seen stuck hanging on a window.
"General Kenobi is here!" A Clone Soldier announced to the Kings.
"Princess Leia has joined the battle!" The Rebel Soldier announced.
"Orbital Strike Systems are fully operational!" Was announced by soldiers for all four factions.
"Everything was limited for a good bit until a team scored enough points. Around 300 to 400 I'd say. Now, all bets are off. Let's see which team can come out on top after this.
"Super Battle Droids have now been deployed for support!" A Droid communicated to the CIS.
"Reinforcements are on the way!" A clone communicated to the Republic.
"Looks like the Empire has brought the cavalry, but so have we! Help is on the way!" A Rebel communicated to the Rebellion. "But even so, our objective still remains the same. Capture those command posts! We can't let the Ion Cannon stay in enemy hands!"
Gunships landed on the ground safely in different areas. On them were Super Battle Droid units, extra Rebel soldiers including aliens and Wookies, Imperial Stormtroopers, with four of them notably being Gary, Chef, Doyle and Heloise, and for the Republic, extra Clone Troopers. With all of them immediately going towards the action to help their teammates.
Meanwhile back on the Rebel ship, the still lonesome Lucy(in more ways than one) had been woken up by all of the extra talking on the comms. Seeing that her team had the least amount of command posts(with a second being an extra one via an LA-AT gunship), she elected to do something about it.
The screen, while not allowing her to see absolutely everything happening on the ground, did give her a general idea of it. She could see the general location of where the command posts were, who was controlling them and by going further to the right, the Ion Cannon itself could also be seen. Deciding to experiment, she fired at one of the command posts under enemy control. When the shot descended to the ground, said command post was immediately neutralized, marking one less in control of the Republic.
"Our orbital strike cannon is firing!" The Rebel Communicator said to all ground troops.
This gave an opportunity to the other factions to take control of it, with a couple of Stormtroopers, Natsu, Mamori and Rick all encroaching on it.
"Take out that Rebel scum!" One of the Stormtroopers said, firing a Tri-shot pistol.
Both sides continued to trade blaster shots until the Rats came away the victor with no casualties on their side.
"Even in here you guys stink. And you were supposed to be upgrades to the Clones?" Rick said as they began to capture the command post.
"Upgrades?" Natsu said, confused. "They look the same to me."
"Trust me, they're nowhere-" Rick started before yelling out in pain as he was hit in the head, falling to the ground.
"Rick!" Both his teammates yelled out before another shot came. Natsu rolled out of the way, but Mamori wasn't so lucky, getting hit once in the leg and finished off with another hit to the body.
"They must be attacking from long distance!" Natsu said, now looking in the direction of where the shots were coming from.
Before he could do anything else to try to get closer to finding the attackers, a ship landed, inadvertently on him. After a couple of seconds, Lotte appeared from out of the starfighter. When she saw Natsu below, she gasped and covered her mouth, realizing what she had just done.
"Oh no! I'm so sorry!" She wouldn't have time to do anything else, not because Natsu was preparing to respawn, but because Lotte was sniped as well.
In the distance, from an elevated point on a building, Din, oddly enough in Clone Trooper armor now, was seen, sniper in hand. Along with him was Dewey.
"You shot again before you were ready. Now there's a good chance we need to move." Din said to him.
Dewey gritted his teeth a bit. "Yeah. My bad."
"Come on. We need to get moving."
"What about the command post?"
"Our teammates can handle it. We need to keep moving!"
Both of them made themselves scarce, switching to their secondary weapons in the more than likely chance that they come across an enemy. When no one was around, Riley stood up from behind a wall. After looking around, she takes the starfighter that Lotte was using and takes off in it.
Focusing back on the Ion Cannon command post, Urien's progress of capturing it was put to a halt by the several Clones that attempted to stop him from doing so. Some of those clones including Yang and Maki.
"Count Dooku! Open fire!" One of the non-player clones called out before they immediately started to shoot at him. Using his lightsaber however, Urien blocked several of the lightsaber shots, deflecting them in multiple directions.
"One old man to another one that also uses lighting. What would you call something that's not an upgrade or a downgrade? A samegra-" Yang joked as she was firing before getting shocked along with all of the other troopers in the area. Even Maki, who tried to use her speed to avoid it was still hit due to the chaining effects and was held in place.
"How about we call it, your demise!" Urien declared, continuing to shock them until he was hit in the back by Sly, who was using an Electrostaff. He staggered once from the hit and then stumbled again from a second and third hit from Sly from behind.
"What!? Where did-" Urien started.
"If I told you that, then you'd catch me." He replied.
Despite the numbers, Urien was not going to go down that easy. After getting struck a few times, he was able to evade the next attack while also leaving Sly open for counterattack in the process. The problem was the others shooting at him. He was forced to have to block the shots with his lightsaber, reflecting them back.
"Woah! Not fair!" Yang said, taking a hit to the body from a Clone blaster shot.
"He's a sith lord. What do you expect?" Maki replied.
"I'm hit!" One of the non-player Clones said before another shot him not even a second later, killing him.
"I think you forgot that I don't have that stuff where I'm from." Yang replied to Maki before they were shocked again. The stunning of all of them again gave Urien the opening he needed to swing at Maki, taking her out with one hit.
"No!" Yang said before she fell to the ground as well. And despite Sly's efforts in dodging a couple of saber swings, he was done in by the Force Choke, with him meeting his demise in a similar way Happy did.
The fighting for him would end. But not in the way he hoped. As he was in the process of capturing the zone again, he was frozen before being shot at in multiple directions by Rebels. One said Rebel being Princess Leia, who was actually just Sucy, surprisingly enough. The numbers proved to be too much for him and it didn't take him much longer to go down.
"Got him!" One of the non-player Rebel soldiers said.
"Hold this position at all costs! Understand?" Hiruma said, wielding a flamethrower as both Stormtroopers, Droids and Clones all began to approach, attempting to capture the Ion Cannon command post for themselves.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Becky said, using the Carbonite Freeze Gun, the source of Urien being frozen.
Despite this, they wouldn't be able to prevent them from getting control of the command post. Its capture was alerted to all teams.
Most of the defeated enemy troops were from Leia.
"Jesus Christ. Save some for other people." Rally said to her.
"If I did, I'd be dead. All I can say is get your own kills." Sucy replied, shrugging before a green light shone. Everyone instinctively braved for impact, but there ultimately wasn't too much of one. Sure, they took damage, but it was nowhere close to being enough to take out anyone.
"What was that?" One of the Rebel soldiers asked, to which another shrugged. Everyone looked around but not a single enemy was in sight. The source was the small Toto by his lonesome and out of sight in trees with a miniaturized version of the turbolaser strike rifle. In its case, it was transformed into a miniaturized droid. And from the looks of things, its damage was downsized as well. But before another shot could be fired, Clone Troopers began to approach and the stray blaster shots was enough to force Toto to move somewhere else, out of the crossfire.
"Gee, I sure wish we had our hero to help us out. And by that I mean WHO AND WHERE IS OUR HERO!?" Courtney yelled out, seconds later after respawning.
Said hero, Kenobi, was actually in space piloting a Jedi starfighter. That pilot being Todd.
"Hey, how you guys doin' up there?" Axl asked Tangle as he was alongside Murasakibara and Blaze, attempting to capture another command post.
"All I've gotta say is you're missing out!" Tangle replied in space, performing an evasive maneuver to get out of the lock of missiles from a TIE Interceptor.
"I wouldn't say that now. Obi-Wan is terrorizing us." Bennett said as he just watched two droid starfighters, one being a non-player droid and another, who was Toxsa, get shredded in a matter of seconds.
"FOUR TIMES! THIS IS A LOAD OF B-" Toxsa started to yell before his starfighter exploded. Seconds later, someone else was heard yelling as they were going at a very high speed in a Droid Interceptor starfighter towards the CIS Capital ship. Too high. The ship ended up crash landing inside the hangar.
"What the heck was that?" Kaz asked.
"I guess I can give you guys a hand." Axl said.
"Ten bucks says you end up dying more than you get kills up here." Tangle said as TIE Fighter shots along with the shots of a Droid Vulture passing by and shooting a V-Wing could be heard in the background of her comms. "But, we can switch. You just better have been helping Whisper."
"Wanting to hear how much someone's going to fail? Real supportive of your teammates there. That sounds like some boot material to me. And as for Whisper, she's been fine. She's off doing her own thing." He says as he takes cover from an AT-ST walker that Paul was using. Blaze locked on via a rocket launcher and shot it down. Despite this, he still saw the rocket coming and knew what was about to happen, so he immediately got out of it and attempted to take cover, but not without setting down something as well. It was a Detpack, a remote detonated explosive.
"Can't get booted if we win! And also wait a sec. Doing her own thing? That just sounds like you left her!" An explosion was suddenly heard on Axl's end. And he didn't say a word after. "Axl? Hello?" She then suddenly heard rapid-fire blaster shots behind her. "Uh oh."
About a second later, her starfighter was in pieces.
"It should not be this difficult to take him out! Everyone focus your fire on him! Now!" Albedo said.
"Easier said than done when you've got droids and the Empire to deal with too." Adrien said, shooting missiles at the CIS capital ship. "But I get where you're coming from."
Tsukishima was the next to be on Todd's ever-growing kill list as the Jedi. This being the second time he's been defeated in the boy turned Jedi's lifetime.
"You guys constantly disrespect and talk about me all throughout this show basically every episode! Consider this payback!" Todd said, locking onto another target. It took about 10-15 more kills before he finally went down. And that was only because he was on the verge of crashing the starfighter.
"You know what? I'll take it. A locked in Todd is a good one." Isagi thought, grinning as he was firing at Doyle, getting behind him. "So go ahead, take it personal."
Bennett breathed a sigh of relief that he was gone.
"Good riddance." Albedo remarked.
Once Todd respawned, he immediately went inside the capital ship, with full intentions on heading to the ground. But first, he decided to create his own loadout at the hangar command post.
As for what was happening in the CIS Capital Ship, Kageyama, the person that crashed the starfighter in the hangar, respawned in the hangar command post.
"Note to self. Never do that again." He thought as he looked around.
There looked to have been no other players on the capital ship other than him. Anyone that did appear was a non-player droid and either stood still with some moving to other parts of the ship, or got into a starfighter to join the space battle.
Seeing as how there was no one else here, he looked to have made the right decision in deciding to back up to the capital ship interior.
"Alright, where's that Orbital Strike Cannon?" He said before exploring the ship to try to find it.
Focusing back on the ground, Axl was seen on the ground, defeated after catching every single bit of the detpack explosion that Paul caused. The culprit attempted to find any way to hold off Blaze and Murasakibara until help arrived.
"I told him not to be aggressive." Blaze said.
As for Paul, to his credit, reinforcements did arrive, just not the help he was hoping for. He was shot up immediately by Stormtroopers, which included Chef. And not too far behind them was an IFT-T Tank, the Imperial version of an IFT-X(both of which were essentially the same vehicle). Though unlike when Huey and Louie were in the IFT-X, no one was manning the laser turret up top.
"Tank!" Blaze alerted as both she and her teammate took cover. Both had their minds set on destroying the tank more than anything else. So they both locked on to the tank with any high ordinance weapons they had. Blaze shot a rocket while Murasakibara chucked all of the grenades he had left on him. One more shot, at the cost of Blaze being heavily injured from the laser shots was able to take out the tank.
"Here." Murasakibara said, handing her a bacta tank and an ammunition box.
"Thank you."
"Room for a few more?" A rebel soldier said as he and a few others joined in to help them.
"Rebels! Take em all out!" One of the Stormtroopers instructed. Blaster fire was exchanged back and forth between the two sides.
"Alright, let's be real. You guys were waiting to see something like that happen to him." Chef said as he threw a scatter grenade.
"Um…" Blaze wasn't sure how to respond to that.
"Must be talkin' to somebody that's not here. 'Cause you're sure not talkin' to me." Murasakibara said. "I could care less."
"Promoting for kids to get shot huh Chef?" Chris teased.
"You know that's not what I meant!" Chef replied, shooting a rocket. "And also, let's not mention that huh?"
"Why?"
"Because…. You know….."
"Oh. That."
"Uh huh." Chef said before he was hit in the face by a rocket. And the source wasn't from any of the troops in the area.
In the distance, a recon droid was seen before it self-destructed seconds later.
"Wow. So many easy kills. That's how many? I lost count. How did I not think of doing this before?" Louie said as he was the source of the guided rocket.
"Oh that's easy. You weren't using your brain." Todd said, who was controlling the recon droid. Both were in a hidden area behind crates. It was close to being considered out of the battlefdield, but not quite yet. "You could have easily tested this stuff out on the capital ship and then, take an escape pod and go right back down. Greatest part is, even if you were to die, your loadout gets saved.
"Like a firing range. Honestly, that is a very smart move. Not like there's anything else going on in there."
"Exactly. Hence why literally no one else on the team was there. It was empty."
Louie had a look on his face. One that Todd wasn't exactly a fan of.
"What's up?"
"Nothing. Did you find anyone else yet?"
"Anyone? Yes. Anyone interesting? Not yet. But seriously, what's going on? You look like you saw something in the future and you hated it."
"You know what? I had another thought. Even if that were to happen, we'd still be fine anyway. So, nothing for us to be concerned about. By us, I mean us to specifically."
"It's us losing, isn't it?"
"Yes."
"Is it because I brought up the thing about no one being in the ship?"
"Yes."
"Don't you think there's a chance the other teams did the same thing though?"
"Maybe."
"Look, just put it this way. Jotaro, Isagi, Akashi and all the other big brained geeks on this team all decided to be down here or just in space."
"So we could put the blame on them. Genius!"
"Not so loud! We get caught we can't do this again. Also, that's not exactly what I meant by that. I was moreso talking about when we win, not if we lose."
Someone suddenly cleared their throat.
"Looks like you idiots still haven't learned your lesson-" Before the person that caught them, Fiona, could do anything, she was immediately frozen before being struck down by multiple electrostaff strikes.
"Actually I did learn." Louie said, who was using the freeze gun.
"Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we're gonna have to move. Knowing her, she's going to tell everyone else on their team about what we're doing." Todd said.
"Yeah I know. Unfortunately. You know what? Screw it, I'm going on the capital ship."
"You wanna go there so you can do nothing don't you?" Todd guessed with a deadpan look and tone on his face.
"Sorta? And I'm also kinda curious as to what's there. So that technically counts as something."
"Again, that just sounds like you just wanna pack it in for the day. You're talking to a master at this. You can't fool me. Me? I'm stayin' here. I wanna get some more kills!" Todd said before running to find a place to change weapons.
After respawning, Fiona blinked a couple of times.
"I'm unfrozen! I'm unfrozen." She said, gritting her teeth saying it the second time in anger.
"Haaa!" Zero yelled out, hitting a Super Battle Droid from behind while Puss hit him in the front. Both were using Force Pikes before said Droid fell to the ground in pieces. While the Super Battle Droids were a lot more powerful than their standard counterparts, they were also slower. And both Pike wielding soldiers used that to their advantage. They were currently in the process of capturing another command post neutralized by Lucy.
Two AATs were advancing on their position not too long after. But their advance was short lived when a turbolaser strike destroyed both of them.
"I think you should trust Axl on this one though. She's just fine." Zero said before giving a thumbs up to seemingly no one. But Whisper was actually seen from a distance overwatching both of them, turbolaser strike weapon in hand, with a couple of ammo canisters to replenish reserves if necessary.
"Like that's supposed to make me feel better. Why isn't she saying anything then?" Tangle asked suspiciously after respawning.
"Let's just say she's on Tank Buster duty. Not exactly in a position to say a lot at the moment."
"As they say, seeing is believing. I'll be down there soon enough."
More TIE Fighter shots were heard in the background with her also yelping after almost hitting the bridge of the Republic Capital ship and crashing. "Whenever I can get out of this that is."
At around this point, the Kings had the advantage at around 550 points and counting. Moreso off the strength of having a strong hold on the command posts more than anything else. But, with Lucy figuring out that you can use the orbital strike cannon to continue neutralizing enemy command posts, she continued to use this to her advantage and continued to force-neutralize any command posts controlled by an enemy. Seemingly the only one that this couldn't be done to was the Ion Cannon command post as she couldn't even see it. Only the Cannon itself.
"We can't keep losing these command posts!" The Clone Soldier Communicator said to the Republic.
"Thanks for stating the obvious!" Ben said before being hit from behind by a Stormtrooper, knocking him down. Before he could finish the job, the Stormtrooper was shot in the head a few times before he fell to the ground. The source being Octavia.
"Thanks." He thought she was going to help him up but when he saw that wasn't happening, he took the hint and got up himself.
"Don't mention it."
"Take those traitor clones out!" Another Stormtrooper said, coming around the corner and seeing them, immediately firing at them.
"Neutralize the Clones and Stormtroopers!" A droid instructed, with Dwayne seemingly leading the group(He wasn't the one that gave the order though).
"That wasn't even ten seconds. Can I get some time to breathe?" Ben remarked, switching to the tri-shot pistol, his secondary weapon.
"CIS Drones huh? Time to put you out of commission!" A stormtrooper said, shooting a standard blaster rifle.
After exchanging blaster fire for several seconds along with grenades, the Stormtroopers were the first to go down, but not without taking some of the droids with them.
"Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers. If they got one thing in common, it's the fact that I can take em both down." Dwayne said before taking cover.
"Oh yeah, let's say that and then hide." Ben remarked.
"You stand out in the open 24/7 in a war and watch what happens." Dwayne countered, already trying to plan his next move.
"Okay fair, but, it's just the look of it is all. Bad timing." Ben looked around, trying to anticipate where Dwayne would be. But that was easier said then done. Dwayne, knowing that a peek-out of any kind would give his position away, crawled. It seemed like a good strategy. Until Blake came out of nowhere to strike him down and finish him off before disappearing seconds later.
"Where they heck did she come from? Sure could have used your help earlier." Ben said.
"Don't worry about it. Just know that she wouldn't just leave you to die." Octavia replied.
"Alright. I can't wait for what you have to say whenever I die again."
This response only caused Octavia to sigh.
"The enemy orbital strike cannon is firing!" Every team was alerted to, except for the Rebels.
"We have got to do something about that. And soon. First thing we need though is that Ion Cannon."
"Which is easier said than done with how tight I'm sure they're guarding that command post."
"If the other two teams could have it, we can too."
"Our Orbital Strike Cannon is firing!"
"Wait, that's ours. That's the first time we've heard that!"
"Which won't mean much if no one can capture command posts. What's the point of capturing them if they'll just be neutralized over and over again?" Octavia said as they had just changed weapons.
"Uh, points? Just capturing them still gives us a couple of points. But yeah, I agree that it is annoying. Hence why we need to destroy those ships. Also hence why we need the Ion Cannon."
"Yes. I'm fully aware. You don't have to talk to me like I have trouble comprehending things."
"I-" Ben started but only sighed, deciding not to argue. "I bet Rook's having the time of his life up in space."
"Fancy meeting you all here. Do you have room for one more?" Rook asked, as he had just landed on the ground not too far from where they were.
"Huh. What a coincidence. How was space?"
"Fun."
"Cool. Then you can help Octavia."
"But that is what I just-" Rook said before realizing that Ben was intending on using the same starfighter he just landed. A few seconds later he took off for space. "What….. just happened?"
"Get down!" Octavia yelled out, pushing him out of the way of a rocket that was coming their way.
"You guys were like this close to being toast too. If only I could load and ready it faster." Gary said, jumping down.
"Teacher or not. This will not end will for you. Do not expect me to hold back." Rook warned him.
"I mean, if you get me, it's worth more-" Gary started before being hit by Octavia, who just casually aimed the sniper in his direction without even zooming in, the shot being good enough to actually kill him.
"Well, I suppose this is what is considered 'anti-climatic'."
"Eh, he'll be back."
The lack of consistent command post control now has caused the Republic, the CIS and the Empire to use gunships as command posts instead.
The only reason this wasn't the case for the Ion Cannon wasn't because of the mines, detpacks and auto turrets used to attempt to bolster the defenses of it as it charged. It was because of one person from another team secretly, and intentionally helping the Rebels keep the command post under their control: Reimu.
By alerting Becky of any incoming enemies from a distance and while staying invisible thanks to the supplies that the Rats alliance member shared with her, Becky was able to take out or help take out any would-be takers of the command post. Whether it be with the rocket launcher, or with the standard blaster pistol she was using. For explosives, she had a wrist rocket, and finally last of these was the most important for her as it allowed her to be completely invisible while sitting at the chair for the Ion Cannon targeting system.
The only problem was for her now, was that the invisibility had worn out just when Akashi, Sebastian and Eliza were all coming to capture the command post.
"Invisibility at the monitor? I must admit, that is a very clever trick. But not clever enough to save you it seems." Akashi said before pulling all three began to fire at her.
Seeing that she was not going to win that battle, Reimu, with almost no hesitation, shot the grenade launcher she had at them.
"Grenade!" Akashi alerted, eyes widened as he saw it.
While it wasn't enough to kill them, it was enough to give Becky a legitimate shot at winning the 3v1 gunfight. And thanks to the carbonite freeze gun and wrist rockets, she was able to. And as a bonus, was able to refill her rocket reserves as they had dropped ammo. All she could do was give a thumbs up to Reimu as gratitude, not just to avoid giving anything away, but because she was also scared out of wits after what had just happened.
"The Ion Cannon is charged! Use it to deplete the enemy capital ship's shields!" The Rebel Communicator alerted ground troops.
Knowing that she didn't have much time before someone else would inevitably find her after that, she quickly ran back to the targeting system.
She aimed the Ion Cannon at the Imperial Star Destroyer first and got a shot off. In about three seconds, the shot reached the ship and did a decent amount of damage to its shields in one blow, proving to have been a lot more effective than just starfghter blaster fire.
As she was preparing fo charge another one, this time at the CIS Capital Ship, she was tapped on her shoulder.
"Damn it Reimu you messed up my shot! Now I've gotta wait for another one."
"I think you've got me confused for someone else."
The second she heard the voice, she jumped back a bit until she realized it was Yulaw.
"Woah, hey. It's me. I may not have the same pretty face as her but, if it helps, I am your teammate."
"Yeah it does. Sorry. You scared the hell out of me. I didn't even hear you walk up."
"I guess I can take that as a compliment."
"Wait, you didn't use invisibility?"
"Nope."
He was knocked down a second later before his eyes closed, falling unconscious. The culprit being Sly.
"But I am." The thief said.
She immediately shot a wrist rocket at the terminal. The explosion hit both her and Sly, with her shooting another one for good measure to make sure he went down too. Both were on the ground after that. Though there was one problem: Sly survived the blasts.
"Guess it pays to be a decent actor. And have pretty decent Clone armor too." He remarked as he went to capture the command post. Unfortunately for him though, all of this would be for naught in the span of ten seconds.
"The Ion Cannon has been destroyed!" This was alerted to every team member on all four factions.
"Great." Sly said sarcastically. "Now I kinda feel like this is my fault a little."
He was suddenly shot at by Lotte and Kurita as he instinctively ducked before running to immediately find cover.
"Okay yeah, I think this is definitely the universe telling me it's my fault. Still not sure how though." Sly remarked, behind a few boxes.
A grenade was thrown close to where he was. The easiest(and most logical) thing he could do was roll out of the way. But, that was exactly what they expected him to do. Hence why they threw it. So instead, he bided his time before turning invisible about a couple of seconds later and making his escape.
"I don't think he's gone. Move up but keep an eye out." Lotte said to Kurita, with the latter nodding, keeping his focus. They slowly advanced to where the boxes were, preparing to fire. But when they did, they both saw nothing.
"He's gone." Kurita said. "But how?"
"You guys alright?" Zero asked, reappearing from out of nowhere themselves as they ran up to them. "We heard blaster shots and an explosion."
"Yeah. We're fine." Lotte said.
"Sly got away though." Kurita said. "He disappeared! He was just behind those boxes and somehow he just vanished!"
Puss laughed a little. "Of course! Invisibility. Fitting for him I would say."
"Wait, you can be invisible?"
"Yeah. That's what Puss and I are using as well. You didn't know that?" Zero said.
"No, actually." Kurita said, now starting to feel slightly embarrassed for it with how Zero said it.
"Don't feel bad. To be honest, I actually wasn't aware of that either." Lotte said.
Jotaro and other clones began to approach.
"Well I hope you're aware of them. We got company!" Zero said.
As all of this was happening, Yulaw was putting the stealth gear that he had left hidden back on. Once he did,
"Focus your fire on the enemy capital ships' shields! It's the only way to board and destroy the reactor core." The Clone Communicator instructed those in space.
"Losing the Ion Cannon makes taking out the shields a harder task. But not impossible! You're just gonna have to rely on old fashioned blasters, missiles and bombs now!" The Rebel Communicator said.
"Which is gonna take 50 years. How the heck did it get destroyed in the first place?" Kagami remarked, now in space himself. He was piloting a Y-Wing, fully intent on bombing the other teams' capital ships with it.
"You think maybe someone shot at it? To be honest, I think I kinda get the move behind it." Zee said. "Now no one gets it easy with bringing the shields down."
"Including their own team! Hence why I don't think it was a good idea."
"Even so, there's nothing any of us can do to change it now." X said, circling around the back of the Imperial Star Destroyer and firing at one of its auto-defense turrets. "The only thing we can do now is adapt and move forward. And the first part of that is focusing more firepower on these ships. Maybe get some more bombers."
"That's a great idea. I'll head into the hangar and switch." Lanolin said before she was shot at not even a second later. "Maybe I should have kept that to myself."
"Yeah, you should have." Doyle said.
"Wait, how in the world are you on this line? Did you hack our comms?"
"Whoops."
"Just as a heads up, you may want to watch what you say, Doyle and the others can hear us."
"Well, technically it's not all of you. It's just who we want to."
"You're not helping." Heloise said.
"Tch, I find the idiot who thought that was a good idea…." Kagami remarked as he fired directly at the shields of the Republic Capital ship until he was unsuspectedly hit and killed by Aomine.
"Ha. I just wish I could actually say something to him." Aomine said.
"Actually, you can. Just push the comm button and the one person you want to talk to." Chris said.
"Wait, wha? Oh s[censored]. Nice. I can't wait till he comes back."
"Yeah, that's exactly what I just did." Doyle said.
"Really now? You know, I find it pretty coincidental that I'm up here and so are you." Reagan said to Doyle, now using the feature herself.
"What? You think I'm following you now or somethin'?" He replied.
"You said it, not me." She replied, feeling his smile through the transmitter.
"Uh, hello? Space battle?" Toxsa said to Reagan.
"I'm still focusing."
"Sure you are."
"Scratch one more!" Sendo exclaimed, back on the ground as he was in an AAC-1 Rebel Speeder tank, firing missiles. He was currently the only one in the tank. Regardless, he was still proving to be a force to be reckoned with, now on a 6-killstreak. In fact, for a majority of the game after the first few minutes, he was in some sort of vehicle, already seeing that he was not cut out for blaster rifle shooting. All of that would come to and end seconds later, when he was suddenly kicked out of the vehicle and was unable to reenter it.
"What the hell?"
What was even more confusing was the fact that it turned toward him seconds later and shot at him. Even with him trying to move and throw a grenade at it, it was already too late as he had went down, his killstreak now ended.
"Ha haa! Sucker!" Riley said, as she was revealed to have been the one in the tank now. And it was all thanks to her using the Fusion Cutter to do it. After taking him out, she gets out to quickly repair the tank and get back in before anyone notices her getting in it.
"Looks like someone forgot the Fusion Cutter existed. And from the looks of things, I think everyone did. But Riley it seems. And I guess Myron, Hailey and Huey but, they're not using it as much as her. Grand Theft Riley! Er, Grand Theft Battlefront? Whatever you wanna call it, she's using it to her advantage with some crazy good hit and run tactics so far." Chris commentated. "And leaving at the last second to avoid giving herself away when she's killed. Except for when she tried to pilot different starfighters and crashed trying to board the capital ships. Yikes. Anyways, back to the game, where we see Fiona crawling from under a bridge like a spider to attack Todd. No, I'm not exaggerating."
Just as Chris said, Fiona was attacking Todd, the former pinning the latter to the ground.
"You're gonna get it now!"
"I think I already did. And honestly, I hate it!" He said, trying to get her off before he saw someone invisible lurking not too far from where they were.
"What are you talking about?" She asked, a mixture of confusion and annoyance.
"Cooties, duh. Robo-cooties in this case."
"Cooties? Really? What are you, 8?"
"11, actually."
"My point still stands."
"How, when that's a three year difference? And besides, you say this as if you're so matu- LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!"
"Yeah, like I'm going to fall for that. Get real. Now stop struggling so I can get this over with!"
The next thing she knew, her droid head was apart from her body.
"Ouch." Todd commented, after standing up and seeing the head on the ground.
"A weird way to say thanks but, I'll take it." Sly, the cause of Fiona's beheading said, no longer invisible as the stealth pack on his back was now recharging.
"You know, I actually kinda feel sorry for the guys that have to look like that. Well, everyone except her."
"All I've got to say to that is don't let her hear you say that."
"Yeah, you're right. Definitely don't want to hear her screaming again. You ever noticed how she has like the loudest screams here?"
"No, I didn't."
"Kinda hard not to tell. Maybe that's the reason why she hates Titi so much. It's 'cause Titi can actually sing and she can't. So she's jealous."
"I guess. "
"You don't really care do you?" He said in a deadpan tone, already knowing the answer.
"Not really. But, if it means something, you might have a point. Never thought of that honestly."
"You know what? I appreciate the honest-" Both of them suddenly were jolted with a large surge of electricity, yelling loudly as they were. Unable to move, all they could hear was the turning on of a lightsaber before everything went black.
In another area, there was, unsurprisingly, a battle taking place for the control of a command post. But, it wasn't a gunfight as you'd expect it to be. Instead, it was mostly an up close and personal battle. The participants being Zero, Ryoma, Puss, Bachira and Weiss, all using Electrostaffs or Force Pikes.
"You know, I'm very surprised that this is our first time actually fighting each other." Weiss said to Ryoma.
"Probably because..." Ryoma grunts as he kicks away Bachira to keep him back. "We were on the same team in the previous season. That would have been impossible."
"I was really talking about this one."
"Then I suppose it is a good thing no one is holding back. Cherish these moments. For once the day ends, one of us could very well be gone. Well, everyone except for me of course." Puss said, jumping on one of the "wings" of a vacant Droid Vulture starfighter and immediately jumping off it to attack his enemies.
"Never say never." Bachira said, jumping in the air to catch Puss but somehow the cat was able to make him miss.
"I don't know about you, but losing to you here is not something I've got planned any time soon." Zero said to Bachira. "Or for that matter, any of you here." He said as he challenged Weiss. Despite being from two completely different time periods and worlds, they seemed to have looked to been evenly matched. The same could apply to Ryoma as well.
"That's from you assuming we'll just let you win. Which isn't going to happen." Weiss declared. "Although, maybe if Puss was a dog instead..."
"Would you really consider letting them win if they had a dog?" Ryoma asked, surprised.
"Of course I wouldn't. That was just-"
A starfighter was seen about to crash land near them, causing several people to instinctively move or duck. Which allowed for the grenade that was thrown towards them to be unseen. It exploded, blinding all of them, no exceptions. When the effects of the flashbang subsided, only Ryoma was alive.
Ryoma blinked multiple times, still trying to get his vision back.
"Sorry about that." Ayame said, with Ryoma looking and realizing that she was the source of the flashbang. Toto was also there with a miniature sniper before making a covering eyes gesture and doing a talking one after, talking into the sniper rifle as if it was a walkie-talkie. "Honestly, I didn't even think about that. Good point." She said, already knowing what Toto was talking about. "But, all that matters is that we took em out so, it works out."
"For you maybe. Not so much for my vision." Ryoma said, rubbing his eyes, forgetting that he was a droid. Several seconds later, his eyes, or his optics, to be specific, readjusted themselves, allowing him to see again. "Toto has a weapon too?"
"Yep. Chris did say everyone."
Toto saluted to him immediately after.
"Well, the more the merrier I suppose."
The pilot slowly got out of the starfighter, revealing himself to have been Diego.
"Whew. Not sure how I survived that one." Diego said before noticing Ryoma and Ayame.
"Well, it's a good thing you landed near us." Ayame said.
"Yeah. I would have really been toast if it was anyone else. Well, since I'm here, I'll give you guys a hand."
"Trust me, I think you're better off on the ground." She said as they began to capture the command post.
"Don't knock it till you try it! Once you get the hang of it, it's one heck of a ride."
"Of course you'd be used to it. You guys travel the whole universe. And I did try it. I gave it ten minutes. Which is a lot more than Weiss did. Still didn't like it."
"Good thing we had the option to choose. I don't think my stomach could take all of those twists and turns like that." Ryoma said as the command post was captured for their team.
"Now you sound like Natsu." Diego said, laughing a little.
"Come to think of it, I think Ryoma got motion sick when were on a cruise ship one time too." Ayame said.
"I just don't like it. It's not the same thing. Unlike him, I can tolerate using skates or just getting on a small boat or raft. You've been there, you should know that." Ryoma said.
"Enemy Orbital Strike Cannon is firing!"
And on cue, a yellow blast came down, neutralizing the command post.
"Should have known." Ayame said before they noticed someone coming towards the command post. His face was hidden by a black hood. Only his hands could be seen. But that was all he needed to hold them in place before they could get a chance to move, shocking them. Seconds later, they were all in pieces before the command post was lost and changed to Imperial Control not too long after.
"So he got you too huh?" Hailey asked on the comms to Diego after they described what happened.
"Whoever we is, there's nothin' a full round of bullets-" Launch started.
"Lasers." Hailey corrected.
"Whatever! They still kill so it doesn't matter. And that's exactly what we're gonna do to him the next time any of us sees him."
"Easier said than done when that hasn't happened yet."
"And it still won't." Someone said in a raspy voice before Hailey immediately opened fire on him.
"Open fire!" A non-player droid said, also firing.
A "HAAAAA!" and lightning was all that was heard on the comms after that, with the blaster fire now silent.
"Damn it! We've gotta find that ba[censored]d now!" Launch said.
The mysteriously hooded hero had made himself known, and he was not afraid of it either, attacking multiple groups that had contestants and non-player troops and actually winning against those groups too. Though he wasn't alone in all of those fights. In some of them, he had the assistance of Chef and Imperial Stormtroopers. Like now. As he was in the teeth of a battle between all four factions in an area. With him being public enemy number one.
*Star Wars Battlefront II Soundtrack- Count Dooku Theme Plays as he goes on his rampage*
"It's the Emperor! Take him down!" One of the Rebel Soldiers called out.
One of said troopers was able to hit Rally in the chest, wounding her before the hooded hero finished her off with a force choke, blacking her vision out.
"Rally!" May called out before having the bomb she had in her hand explode on her from an enemy blaster shot, killing her as well.
"And stay down!" The Imperial Stormtrooper that was the cause of her death said.
From a distance, Din attempted to snipe him but his shot was dodged as the force user quickly dashed out of the way and then proceeded to attack more hopefuls trying to take him out.
"Up there!" A stormtrooper called out, spotting the source of the shot up above.
Before Din and Dewey could make their escape, Chef froze them both, allowing for the other Stormtroopers to finish them off for the kills.
"Don't let him get close!" A Clone said. But it was too late. Seconds later, he was added to the growing list of enemies slain.
"You think your lightning's supposed to make me afraid of you? Huh!?" Launch said, continuing to try to fire at him with repeated blaster shots from the chain gun she was using.
"Nah. But if it does, that's great too!" Palpatine replied before choking her and then sending her into other troops, including Dwayne and Scott.
"Come on old man! You think I'm afraid of you? Try dealing with Scott and the rest of the no-brains here. That's a nightmare!" Beta said before shooting at him with a shotgun. He blocked all of the shots before a couple reflected back at him.
"I am far worse than any nightmare." He replied before moving on to attack others.
"I got him!" Happy declared before using a turbo laser strike on him. The problem was, he was quick enough to be able to quickly dash away fdrom the explosion. Meaning the shot was all for naught as he did kill others(including some of his own teammates), but not the Emperor. "Uh oh."
He was then shot at numerous times before one of the shots finally got to be one too many for him to dodge and he was knocked out.
"Happy! Darn it! What's it gonna take to bring this guy down?" Natsu said before being forced to have to fight off multiple melee Stormtroopers blocking his path.
Even powerful Droidekas proved to be no match for the Emperor as he actually maneuvered in a way clever enough to get them to inadvertently shoot each other, taking out their shields before the Stormtroopers and Chef finished them off.
"What? No!" Hanamiya said in disbelief before he was sliced in half by Palpatine personally.
"Too...strong..." Fiona said after being overloaded with lightning and shutting down, the last thing she heard being Noelle's clearly fear-filled voice before crying out in pain as well.
And oddly enough, the Imperial Forces started to grow. Jotaro, Zero, Puss and Bass fight off the surrounding stormtroopers before an alert was given to all teams. Though the cat was hit with an arc caster, shocking him before another trooper hit him in the back of the head with the butt of his blaster rifle, knocking him out before he was immediately shot.
"Rebel scum." A stormtrooper said.
"Guys! We got it! The shields! They're down!" Kagami yelled out to everyone on his team on the comms. Moreso to everyone that was on the ground.
Music Stops
"The Empire's Shields are offline! Board their capital ship!" The Rebel Communicator said to his respective team.
"Our shields are offline! Prepare to be boarded and defend the capital ship!" An Imperial Soldier said to all Imperial soldiers.
Others got similar alerts.
"Oh no. Of course they'd go after our ship first." Palpatine said before a starfighter landed on top of him. Along with a second one joining in. Though the first one was more than enough to take him out. The remaining stormtroopers, Chef included, all began to retreat.
"And stay down!" Courtney yelled out after landing with a parachute, Riley not too far behind her.
"AND DON'T COME BACK!" Riley added before both let out loud yells, which weirded out everyone that was left.
"Are you done?" Din asked, reappearing.
"Yeah. I think we're good." Courtney said. "Also, apparently, that was Gary."
"Wait, Gary? Wow. How long was that killstreak again?" Rally asked, genuinely surprised, also reappearing.
"Too long."
"Jump into a starfighter! We need your help topside!" The Clone Communicator said to the Republic.
"Someone needs to stay here and keep trying to capture command posts. You go on ahead." Jotaro said, already electing to stay on the ground.
No one had to be told twice. Everyone that was going to space immediately tan to a starfighter, while everyone that wasn't stayed on the ground to continue the ground fight.
"You're welcome, by the way." Becky said to Reimu as she watched her grab a starfighter and head to orbit, with the former staying on the ground. As much as she wanted to help, she also didn't want to make things look too suspicious, especially with no invisibility to use in orbit as everyone that was trying to go into space continued to battle each other and try to deny one another from getting there. Or at the very least, she'd wait until the initial action cooled off.
"Capital ship huh?" Bakura said before already knowing what he wanted to do. The first thing he needed to find though was a Stormtrooper.
Imperial Star Destroyer
About 35 minutes remained. The Kings were still holding a decent-sized lead with 1140 points. Thankfully for the other teams, the ground command posts being consistently neutralized made growing the lead beyond getting kills hard to do. The other teams were both behind, with the Rats just getting past 1000, while the Breakers were at about 970. Destroying the Imperial Capital Ship could swing the battle in any of the three teams' favor, so it was no wonder why the inside of it was a confined all-out war with blaster shots being seen throughout along with multiple starfighters, including a Droid Gunship, the only gunship that was able to successfully able to land without being shot down. With the Empire trying to defend their ship from being destroyed and the other three times trying to be the one to get the final blow on the reactor core to give their team a giant 250 point bonus.
Star Wars Battlefront II Soundtrack - The Battle of Hoth Plays
"I'm hit!" A Stormtrooper yelled out before he was fell to the ground, being killed by Kurita.
"Nice shot!" A rebel soldier commended him.
"Toto, when we get in, go find the reactor and take it down, alright?" Fiona said to it as they were in a starfighter, approaching the capital ship. To which it saluted.
"I don't think this is what I pictured at all when doing this!" PEL yelled out, in the crossfire before being overwhelmed by the plethora of blaster shots and being hit by several before going down.
Shiro could only shake his head before getting behind cover himself.
"Tsukikage, get PEL." He said, to which the robot nodded.
"Morty, do something!" Rick said as he fired the blaster pistol he had.
"Don't you think I'm trying to!?" Morty replied as he dodged several melee attacks from Randy, who was using an electrostaff before he got cornered. Thankfully for him, Randy was hit by a rocket from behind, instantly taking him out. "Thanks." He said to his savior, who was actually Lotte.
"You're welcome. Here!" She said, handing ammo and supplies from her backpack.
"Thanks but, you keep it."
"I have more I can use for myself if I need it."
"Huh. Well, thanks."
Lotte only replied with a joyful smile and a bit of a soft giggle.
Rick was shot in the leg.
"MORTY! STOP UNINTENTIONALLY FLIRTING AND HELP ME!" Rick called out.
Rick calling him out was what made Morty immediately bring his attention to him. "Rick!" But it was too late, he was already shot in the head.
"As much as I like beating you, that wasn't personal." She said as his body fell to the ground, lifeless before Morty attempted to attack her with an electrostaff he also wielded.
"Yeah right. You messed up when you told that lie!" Morty said to her.
"Look, everyone here knows that I don't like Rick, but that's not gonna extend to wanting to kill him. I might be a bit crazy, but I'm not that crazy." She replied, using her pistol to try to hold him off.
"You know, sometimes I feel you're a bit too honest with people."
"Yeah...not my first time hearing that one. Directly or indirectly..." She replied. Her losing her focus was what allowed Morty to get the advantage and knock her to the ground before shooting her, scoring points for the kill.
He didn't even have time to reflect on his thoughts as a stormtrooper was bearing down on him, shotgun in hand. But he was struck down not by Morty, but by Razer.
"Hey Razer."
"Yes?"
"You think something's going on with Reagan? I mean like really going on with her?" He asked before suddenly being attacked by him.
"Perhaps it would be better for you to ask that question when we're not battling."
"Bad timing huh?"
"What do you think?"
"Wait a second, what the heck did Rick mean by-" Before he could even finished, he was sent sky high by a Super Battle Droid's wrist rocket.
"Hostile neutralized!" A standard battle droid said, next to it. Razer quickly jumped out of the way via the jetpack and retaliated with an EMP Launcher shot, killing the Super Battle Droid that killed Morty with one blow before it could retaliate with a wrist rocket. Unlike some of the others, Razer's helmet had a green visor, an exclusive signature of the Jet Trooper class.
"Nice to know you've been putting what I showed you to good use still." Rally said to Gary as they fired at each other inside the ship.
"Super Battle Droid! Take it down!" A clone trooper was heard yelling out near where the two were where Super Battle Droids were also starting to appear via a Droid Gunship.
"Yep. Believe it or not, I taught some of my buddies that too. You wouldn't believe how many of them laughed when I said 'Rally' was a she. Don't worry, it wasn't anything serious." Gary replied.
"Kinda the reason why I chose something neutral for the name most people call me in that field. 'Irene' is a girl's name. 'Rally' could be anyone. What's the use of having a talent if no one even gives you the opportunity for people to see it?" Rally explained.
"Medic!" An Imperial Stormtrooper yelled out, backpedaling after getting hit twice before he was whacked on the back of the head by Courtney via a Tri-shot pistol, knocking him out. She then tried to make a break for one of the doors but was stopped and shot by Kagami.
"Don't even think about it!" He yelled before being shocked by Aomine with an arc caster and was struck down by him with an electrostaff.
"Like I was gonna let you get any closer either." He said to him before rolling out of the way of shotgun blaster shots by Dwayne.
"Someone destroy that gunship!" A stormtrooper called out as the Droid Gunship's turrets was firing at everyone.
"Heavy artillery coming up!" Axl said, rocket launcher in hand before a rebel soldier incidentally stepped in front of him, causing the rocket to kill himself and the soldier instead.
Hanamiya looked as if he had an open path to get to the core but was hit by Aomine throwing his electrostaff like a javelin at him. A stormtrooper finished him off.
"Luckily for you, I wasn't on the ground. 'Cause you'd better believe I'd be on your a[censored] all day." Aomine said before adding, "Pause" after realizing how weird that would sound out of context.
"Get off me!" Sophie said to Eijun.
"You can forget it!" He replied, trying to hold on to her for dear life and stop her from moving.
"This is pointless! At this rate, no one's going to get to that core!" Sophie yelled out as a republic LAAT unknowingly landed on top of the Droid Gunship, destroying it, but damaging itself in the process as well.
"Don't think you can trick me into letting you go!"
"I'm not! I'm being completely serious! Think about it! Us fighting each is exactly what the Empire wan-" He knocked her out before she could finish.
"I told you, your mind games won't work against me!" He said, pointing to her before getting his head blown off by an LAAT gunship turret.
"Hiruma! I have an idea!" Kurita said to him.
"Well? I'm waiting!" He said, ducking to marginally avoid getting his head taken off by a shot by Razer.
"Puss. He's the smallest guy here. What if we snuck him in and have him destroy the reactor?"
"I already thought of that. But it's too many-" He stopped himself, realizing that that was the key. "You came up with the idea. You execute it!"
Kurita was caught off guard. He was only suggesting the idea. He wasn't expecting to have to actually do it. So he had to think about how this was going to work. But while he was doing this, he was snapped out of it by Hiruma's yelling in pain after being hit in the leg.
"Hiruma!"
"If you really care about me, then you'll get that damn plan done so we can win!"
"I got him!" Sena said, quickly running through crossfire to get there. He then tried his best to pull him away from all the fire. "You just do whatever you have to."
Kurita nodded. And all it took was a few seconds for him to think about how he was going to execute his plan.
Inside one of the two doors was as far as anyone had gotten. Everyone was either stopped by the Empire or an opposing team trying to get to the core themselves. At least that's what it had seemed. Kurita attempted to make a mad dash for one of the doors. No surprise that he wasn't able to make it in. However, that was never his intention. In fact, he was actually trying to get Puss in, carrying him inside the jacket he was wearing before letting him go right before he fell in defeat. Puss immediately got behind cover to avoid being seen by any of the Stormtrooper reinforcements running past to get to the hangar. He knew that a plan like this would only work once, so he already knew that he needed to finish the job.
He had his work cut out for him though. Two others were already ahead of him. Mayuzumi and Toto, with the latter hopping on top of an unsuspecting Stormtrooper's helmet and immediately jumping off to secretly trail behind the former.
"We're getting nowhere! It's already been about ten more minutes of us fighting in here." Sophie said, looking at the time remaining as about 25 minutes remained. They were still leading, but Sophie still wasn't happy. "They're more than happy to let the time run out and keep us stuck in this area."
"Get real. No one here is that gullible for that to happen." Paul said to Sophie, already knowing what she was proposing again. Before he could fully get behind any cover, he was hit on the upper left part of his chest by Randy. The magic user was the one to help him behind cover before he could be hit again.
"He's hurt!" Randy called out before being hit by a well-placed bow-caster shot from Akashi, the fully charged burst killing him instantly.
"Give this to Paul." Akashi said after getting to Sophie, quickly taking out ammo and bacta tank supplies from his backpack to hand to her.
She takes them and immediately gives them to the Pokemon Trainer.
"It's a good thing this armor is pretty durable. If it was Stormtrooper armor, he might have been done for. At least that's what I learned recently." Weiss said, joining them along with Din. "Quality over quantity I suppose."
"Not as good as the armor that I usually have." Din said, peeking out and immediately ducking when he saw Droideka laser shots coming.
"Really?"
"Mandalorian armor is forged, not mass produced. That's what makes it tougher compared to Clone and Stormtrooper armor."
"What we need is quality opportunities at the reactor core. And we're not getting them." Sophie said.
"Look Sophie, I understand what you were getting at earlier. But, no one's just going to work together like that in this situation. At least not openly. That's an easy excuse for someone to try to get you out because they think you're in an alliance." Weiss said to her, taking cover behind a TIE Fighter and occasionally peeking out to fire. The only reason she was able to even be in space now was because she was a passenger in a Republic LAAT gunship.
Sophie sighs. "Well we have to do something to turn this in our favor. The problem is, I don't know what. If only I had access to my Titans..."
A grenade landed near where they were.
"Grenade!"
Both immediately moved out of the way to avoid the explosion.
In all of the crossfire and people walking, rolling and running past him, Beta, trying to be as sneaky as he could, hurried and went inside one of the doors before anyone could see him, even resorting to hiding behind an ammo droid, that was conveniently(or inconveniently in his case), destroyed seconds later by a stray grenade along with Bass and Albedo rolling around as they were fighting for a blaster rifle and almost rolling over him.

Puss, Mayuzumi and Toto were all able to find the reactor core room. Said reactor core was blue. An Imperial Control command post could be seen along with the monitor to control the Orbital Strike Cannon. Unlike the other command posts, this one was locked from capture by any other faction. A stormtrooper was near the command post, slowly moving forward as he had thought he had saw someone.
"Show yourself!" He said, carefully looking around, standard Imperial E11 blaster rifle in hand. From his black gear, it was clear that this Stormtrooper was a pilot. Though he still had weaponry to fight outside of a starfighter if necessary. "Damn it. I might have lost him." What he didn't realize was that he walked past Mayuzumi, who used the butt of the rifle he had to hit the trooper on the back of his head, knocking him down before he immediately shot him multiple times before he could retaliate. The misdirection user wanted to breathe a sigh of relief, but he knew that he didn't have time for that. Now he had to finish the job and destroy the reactor core. Although, the time bombs that the Pilot had would make things a whole lot easier. He took one of the bombs and immediately set the timer on it and threw it at the core.
Before he could throw another, he felt a stinging sensation inside his armor, which caused him to lose his concentration and completely miss. Now he only had one left.
"What? How did you get in h-!?" Mayuzumi said after noticing that it was Toto from him literally being in front of one of his eyes before immediately shooting him in it, causing him to yell out in pain as he covered it, which did nothing as he forgot he was wearing a helmet over it.
Seeing that Mayuzumi was dealing with who he had to guess was Toto, Puss knew that this was the best chance he had and went for the last time bomb before he was shot at. He looked behind him and saw that Beta was shooting at him. Even with that, it didn't stop him from trying to go for the bomb, as he was able to avoid being hit and picked the bomb up. Thankfully, it wasn't too hard to figure out how to arm it. And once he did, he immediately threw it as he already knew Beta was still going to try to shoot him before he did.
But before it could even get close to the core, it was destroyed, to his disbelief.
"Ha! You really thought I was just gonna keep shooting you and not the thing that could actually destroy the core?" Beta said to him as he turned.
Puss smiled. "I suppose not. Very clever. Don't think I'm through yet."
A small explosion was heard. The source being Toto shooting a small rocket launcher.
"Well, it's a good thing Toto isn't either." Beta replied before shooting at the cat. Because of how far they were apart, Puss knew he had to do something and it had to be quick enough to take both of them out as even if he took care of one, the other would still be able to fire at the core. And there was also the problem of Mayuzumi, who was just able to get his helmet off, still in pain from taking a direct shot to the eye. So he decided to take a gamble, something that he's no stranger at doing. He quickly takes out another weapon other than the Pike that he's used all game and shots Beta with it, instantly freezing him. He then shoots at and freezes Toto as well before immediately running and jumping towards the reactor core, multiple Therman Detonator cores in one hand and Force Pike in the other.
Before he could even get to the core, Toto and Beta were already unfrozen due to the shots Puss fired being uncharged. But the former would be kicked out of the way by Mayuzumi, who, with one eye, tried to stop Puss by shooting him down, with Beta doing the same thing.
Even with the blaster shots behind him, Puss' confidence wasn't shaken as he continued to concentrate on his target. But so did Beta. He was able to hit him with one shot, which pushed him forward.
"Ha!" Beta cheered, anticipating him missing the core and falling flat on his face against the wall. But, the cat wasn't one to give up that easily, using his Pike to hang on to it instead. "No!"
"Now, it ends." Puss said, confidence and finality in his voice, until the grenades suddenly blew up in his face. And it was all thanks to a recon droid that shot at him and self-destructed right after.
"Phew. I mean, ha!" Beta said before being grabbed by Mayuzumi and then thrown off.
"All I need is a few clean shots." He thought, still struggling to see as he was looking out one eye. Knowing this, he moved closer to the core before shooting at it.
Though with the appearances of Stormtroopers on the command post, he had to hurry now and make all of his shots count.
"Open fire!" One of the Stormtroopers ordered before he and the other two with him immediately began to shoot at him. And unsurprisingly, with his head exposed, Mayuzumi went down in a matter of seconds. But so did the core a few seconds later. Alarms blared.

"REACTOR DAMAGE CRITICAL. STAR DESTROYER DESTRUCTION IMMINENT. ALL PATRONS MUST EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY."
"What? Who got past us?" Gary asked as he shouldered through a clone trying to attack him before hitting him with a full shotgun burst.
"Guess that's our cue to book it. I just hope it was one of us that got it." Dwayne said.
Everyone immediately tried to get to a starfighter or escape pod to avoid being caught in the destruction. Well, everyone that didn't get killed by an opposing faction member that is.
After about 3 minutes, the ship exploded. And it could be seen and heard on the ground, in the sky, in space, and in the other capital ships.
"The Imperial Capital Ship has been destroyed!" Was announced for all to hear.
"He did it!" Kurita exclaimed, now back on their own capital ship.
"I don't think so." Hiruma said, also there with him in the hangar.
Kurita blinked in confusion. "Huh?"
"Look at the scores."
Kurita looked to see exactly what Hiruma meant and he gasped. The Rebels were now in last place. The Republic were leading, but barely, up by only 5 points on the CIS. And less than 20 minutes remained.
Lanolin had just finished a bombing raid, sending the CIS capital ship's shields to zero.
"ALL AVAILABLE REBEL TROOPS HEAD TO ORBIT! THE SEPARATISTS' CAPITAL SHIP'S SHIELDS ARE NOW OFFLINE!"
Steam came out of Kurita's nose. "I'll get it this time! Promise!" He declared before heading to a starfighter to fly into space.
He didn't say anything, but Hiruma was a fan of what he was seeing from him. And if anything, his determination was exactly what they needed. With how much time was remaining, he knew that this was their last shot at trying to not just stave off an elimination, but to win.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 (Classic) Soundtrack- Grievous Escapes Plays
"Don't let them board the ship!" Reagan called out to any other teammates that were with her in space. "Especially the gunships!"
"Roger roger!" A non-player droid replied.
"You got it!" Toxsa replied.
About five minutes ticked away on the clock. And by that time, the CIS had officially taken the lead thanks to those that were still on the ground capturing 2 command posts. Along with that, their defenses stayed solid. No one got past landing their ship before being shot or having their ships destroyed before they could land via rocket launchers. The second Riley tried her idea of taking a Separatist Starfighter and landing it to infiltrate it, she was shot on sight.
"At this rate, we might not even get the chance to board their ship!" Tangle said, back in space now before being shot at by Gary. "What's the big idea? Your ship is gone!"
"Exactly! Why the heck would I help the guys that destroyed out ship?" Gary replied.
"So, that means you're going to help us, right?" Randy asked.
"You guys were the ones that got the points so no." Doyle said.
"Come on, we can see the score too. We're not stupid or blind." Heloise said.
"If that clock's not zero, there's no reason to give up and stop. Keep trying!" Rally said.
"Miss Vincent is right! Do not throw the white flag just yet!" Puss said.
"Cat, Gun Freak, Man-pig and Ringtail, follow me. We're pulling back to the ground." Hiruma said.
"What? If you're telling me to quit, I'm not-" Tangle started before Hiruma yelled, causing her to jump.
"I'M NOT TELLING YOU TO QUIT YOU MORON! NOW FOLLOW ME! If this works, we may be able to pull this off and win."
"You can count me in too." Another voice said as an extra X-wing was now beside them. That X-Wing being piloted by Lucy.
"Lucy? First time hearing anything from you today. No wonder things were kind of quiet." Tangle said.
"If you want, I can make you be quiet when we land." She warned.
"Come on. Consider this as your repayment for us helping you. And for you doing next to nothing." Hiruma said.
"What do you mean 'next to nothing'?"
"Scoreboard says you have no kills, no points, nothing. Heck, not even a death. You're the only one with those stats by the way." Rally said.
"What? Are you serious?"
"You haven't been checking the scoreboard?"
"No. Wasn't able to."
"Forget about it. If we win, none of this matters anyway." Hiruma said as they approached the planet's atmosphere. Several seconds later, a lone Droid Vulture was also entering the atmosphere.
A couple more minutes passed before they landed, of course, not without some type of resistance as enemy starfighters began to fire at them.
"You can come up whatever strategy you want. You're not getting on that ship." Kunigami said to Isagi as they went past each other in space.
"You wanna bet!?" Isagi replied.
"What exactly could you come up with in the next ten minutes that you couldn't the past several?" Kunigami replied as he shot down Monta, who this time, went down for real.
"Gotta admit, he's right. But, that doesn't mean I'm not going to try." Isagi thought.
Around 9 minutes remained now. And nothing has changed so far. The CIS has remained strong with their defenses.
"Hiruma! You've got ten seconds to tell us where you guys are!" Becky yelled out.
"And he's got eight minutes before I put in my stamp to kick his butt outta here." Sendo said.
There was no answer from any of them.
"Hiruma! Lucy! Kurita! Puss! TANGLE!" She sighs. "Great. I think they got themselves killed."
About two more minutes melted away before an announcement was made to all Rebels in space.
"We've captured a command post!"
"Well? What are your waiting for? Get your a[censored]es in here!" Hiruma called out on the comms, rolling out of the way of a wrist rocket.
"He did it. He did it! But how?" Becky exclaimed.
"We'll figure that out later. For now, we need to get on that ship!" Axl said before activating the boost on his starfighter to get there. Unfortunately everyone that was still out defending wasn't going to let him by. Myron chased after and destroyed him.
"I guess you guys just forgot about us, huh?" He said.
"He did. We didn't." Zero said, determined to get through and shooting down whoever he needed to for that to happen.
"What the heck are you guys doing? We can't hold them forever! This is still they're capital ship you know." Lucy said on the comms, pinned down in a corner behind some steps leading to one of the doors to the reactor core room.
"It's a lot easier said than done to get in. Did you forget there's still the outer defenses? And I don't mean the turrets." Lanolin replied.
"Actually it'd be easier if you just told us how you got in." Rally said.
"JUST GET IN HERE AND HURRY! WE CAN'T-" Tangle yelled before her comms went dead.

"We just lost a command post!"
And seconds later, the command post was captured.
"The CIS has captured a command post."
Sendo hit his fist against the dashboard. "DAMN IT!"
As much as he didn't want to admit it, their chances of winning were dwindling by the second. And only 180 of them and counting down remained. And the CIS' defenses didn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon.
"There's gotta be something we can do!" Axl said.
Meanwhile on the planet surface, all Natsu could do was look above him into space.
"Happy, we're gonna lose. And there's nothing I can do to help..." Natsu said as he looked at the score and the clock. He balled a fist and tried to punch a tank next to him, which did nothing but hurt his hand, forgetting that he lost his usual high strength.
"Why? You could-oh..." The exceed replied, realizing what he meant.
Battlefront 2 (2005) Soundtrack - Chewbacca's Theme
"Do not worry my friends! I will take it from here!" Puss declared to everyone as he made his way to the reactor core room.
"Blast that cat!" A droid soldier ordered. Four stood in his way of taking down the reactor core and securing a last minute(literally in this case as there was a little over a minute remaining), victory for his team. The best part was, none of them were players. Everyone, Kageyama included, were all in the hangar focused on stopping anyone from landing. Though it still wouldn't be easy. The downside of them being non-player droids was that two of them were Super Units, so they would naturally be tougher to take down.
Blasting him seemed to be easier said than done as he jumped on one of the droids' head.
"I can't see!" The droid yelled out, moving around frantically and shooting as well, which was ill-advised as he could have shot his allies.
"What are you guys waiting for? Shoot him! If he gets to the core it's over!" The other droid said to the Supers who were idly standing, not wanting to commit friendly fire.
The Supers prepared their wrist blasters and their targeting systems and targeted Puss.
29 seconds remained.
But the Supers ended hitting the droid he was on instead as he quickly jumped off and used it as a shield before it fell to the ground.
"How hard is it to get rid of something as small as him!?" The other B1-Droid said before shooting at him himself.
"Very hard, apparently." Puss replied before he was able to get the Supers to shoot down the second droid as well before they ended up shooting each other. Puss didn't have time to look at his handiwork. Instead, he quickly looked at the core and the time bombs that he had with him on his belt.
7...
He quickly arms them and takes off the belt.
6...
5...
He winds up to throw the entire belt before chucking it.
4...
3...
The belt exploded mid-air, forcing Puss to shield himself as it exploded closer to him than it did the core.
"What!? N-"
He was shot in the head as time expired.
Star Wars Separatist Droid Army March Theme Plays
The last thing that could be seen was the faceless expression of one white-headed Droid in the distance in the entrance to the reactor core, sniper in hand. Though, inside the expressionless droid head, it was almost as if you could feel a sinister grin.
"VICTORY BELONGS TO THE SEPARATISTS!" Was announced to all CIS Members.
"And that's the game! Everyone come on back to the real world!" Chris announced. Everyone got off the three buses that were on the island, which was just the planes transformed. Simple VR devices connected to one central hub were set up in the vehicles.

Julie sighed. "Thank goodness that's over."
"What do you mean? We won. You didn't like it?" Toxsa asked.
"Well of course I liked it. What I didn't like was having to be a droid. My soft, beautiful skin replaced by cold, hard metal? Just thinking about it makes me shiver."
"Yeah, that whole droid thing was weird. I'm glad that's over and done with." Fiona said.
"I don't understand why we had to be robots in the first place. Everyone else at most just had to wear suits." Noelle said.
"Because it's Star Wars? The CIS, like it or not, are a real faction in the universe. Someone had to be them. And Gary was a part of the Em-" Hailey began to explain before Noelle cut her off.
"I really wasn't asking for an explanation. Regardless of what you said, I still wouldn't have liked it."
"Well you can at least not rudely cut people off."
"Guys, take it easy. We won." Hinata said.
"And just because of that I'm supposed to pretend like I like everything and just smile? Absolutely not. I'm not a robot." Noelle said.
"Well, I mean technically you were like a minute ago."
"Chris, we can leave right?"
"Yeah, sure. That's fine with me. But first, for anyone curious, this is how you guys won."
Footage of Beta secretly hanging on and firing at the core from aa lower railing was shown.
"Also, that was Bakura as a Stormtrooper with recon droid."
Footage from that was also shown.
"Wow. You know what? I gotta commend him for that one." Isagi commented.
"How'd you get us the second time though?" Tangle asked him.
"I trailed behind you a bit. I was suspicious as to what you were up to. So I followed from a safe and unnoticeable distance." Bakura, who was really still Yami Bakura explained.
"Prize is movie night. Since the CIS won, it'll be the prequel trilogy. Thought about throwing some Prequel Trilogy TV shows in there, but I said nah. You guys have TVs if you wanna watch that."
"Just like we have TVs if we want to watch this. There's literally nothing stopping us from-" Tsukishima started before Hinata and Julie covered his mouth, with the former's eyebrows lowering, clearly not happy that he cut him off and put his hand on his mouth.
"True. If you wanna watch this on your own time and you don't want the movie night-" Chris started.
"No! No! We want the movie night!" Hinata quickly answered.
"I see. Well, I was going to say that since everyone got a chance to play here, I was going to be nice and let you take one person from a team with you to watch with you. But, I changed my mind. So, Chef, Gary, Doyle and Heloise will be seeing you tonight to watch if they'd like. Well, in the case of Heloise and Doyle they've gotta come whether they like it or not. Someone's gotta get everything set up. And get the snacks. Because I'm not doing it, and neither is Chef.
"That's right! R&R time for me!" Chef said.
"Wait, I get to stay?" Gary asked, surprised.
"As a late contestant? Absolutely not. I don't know if that's what you were thinking but I'm shutting that down instantly. We already had out late entries. Not doing another one. As a guest? Yeah. Honestly, you really weren't that bad here. Especially as Palpatine. So, as a gesture of appreciation for terrorizing my contestants, you're welcome to stay here and watch without me abruptly kicking you out in some new unique way I came up with. I mean, you still gotta leave after the movies are over but at least you can leave standing on your own two feet." Chris replied.
"Uh... thanks?"
"As for the second place Kings, you get nothing. Go do something else. Sleep, eat, whatever. I don't care. As for the Rats, you get the gift of being able to send one of your teammates off tonight. Awesome, right?"
"No!" Several Rat members said, scowling at him.
"Well too bad. You should have won. Or gotten at least second place. See you tonight! Whether you like it or not. That's for the Rats, by the way. Not for the movie watchers. I think I'll watch though."
"Thanks for taking away my chance to watch a movie." Sucy said to Tsukishima.
Tsukishima pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs. "If it makes you feel any better, I'll try out any 3 of your potions."
"Deal." She quickly said. That quickness was what made Tsukishima have a ghostly look on his face as he had just realized what he had just agreed to. "Don't worry, you won't regret it. Your contributions won't be wasted. Trust me."
"You know, that was really nice of you to do." Lotte said to him.
"Nice? More like crazy." Murasakibara remarked.
"Oh, don't listen to him. There is absolutely nothing with wanting to make things up with your friends."
Still nothing from him.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah well there's a lot wrong with getting absolutely no points or anything in 90 minutes." Akko said, upset. "What the heck was that Lucy!?"
"Zero points? Wow, you suck Lucy." Happy said.
"I'd like to see how many points you scored." She replied.
"That's why I didn't see you? I thought you were in space or somethin'. You must have fell asleep. Or were you too scared to fight?" Natsu said, the last part jokingly.
"Actually she was sleep. Got the footage right here." Chris said as she was seen sleep at the orbital strike controls.
"And if you fast forward you'll see that I woke up when the cannon was charged." Lucy said, slightly annoyed at him.
"Sure thing." Chris began to fast forward, but it was taking a while seemingly.
"Dude, go faster. I may not be on her team but come on man." Toxsa said, seeing that he kept the fast forward setting on the lowest speed to make it seem like it was longer than what it actually was until she woke up.
And that he did. And there it was. She was completely awake, learning and manning the Orbital Strike Cannon for most of the game until she battled on the CIS Capital Ship.
"See? I got a kill." Lucy said.
"That was a clean up. And we also see you were the first to die fifteen seconds later." Chris said.
"One point. Wow, such a great difference!" Akko exclaimed sarcastically.
"Yeah, well not everything's on a stat sheet."
"She's got a point." Louie said.
"Tell me what exactly you did after going up there on that ship again?" Todd said.
"Manned the orbital strike cannon."
"Wait a second, if one of you used the Orbital Strike Cannon, that means one of you destroyed the Ion Cannon. Now who was it?" Kagami asked.
"Wasn't me. Why would I do that and make things harder for us to take down the capital ship?" Lucy said.
"Exactly! So it was you then Louie! Tch, you're part of the reason why we lost. Lucky for you, you're not on our team so I can't exactly get too mad at you for it."
"I mean, both of the ships we needed to take care of already took a good hit. So I thought, 'let's make sure the other teams can't strike back'."
"That's a good plan actually. If you would have remembered the Rebel Ship too." Isagi said.
"Oh yeah." Though it was just him pretending he forgot.
"Well, you'll have time to figure all this out. See you guys tonight." Chris said.

Sucy(Radical Rats):
"All I've gotta say is... good luck with Attack of the Clones. Look, I'm not gonna sit here and say it's the worst movie ever. It did give us... well that's a spoiler, in case you haven't seen it, but yeah. There's a reason why some people consider it the weakest out of the Prequel Trilogy. Myself included."

Tsukishima(Wave Breakers):
"If you don't see me on the next episode, you know exactly why." He then put his hands in his face again. "Why did I just agree to that instead of shutting up?"

"Alright. Show of hands. Who wants to see someone on their team leave today?" Chris asked. No one but Chris and Chef raised their hands.
"Majority rules! And with that, I say-" Akko started before Chris cut her off.
"You'll say nothing because you're still going to get someone out of here no matter what. Now, get to voting."
***Confessional***
Akko(Radical Rats):
"On one hand she did help out with the command posts. On the other, 1 point?"

Rally(Radical Rats):
(Stamps Puss)
"As much as it would seem like getting rid of Lucy would be the right call, losing her and Natsu would hurt our team way more than losing Puss. And to be fair, from what he was saying, he pretty much sounded like he was saying it was over. When clearly that wasn't the case."

"He had an opportunity and he blew it. Rewarding him for failure is not something I'm going to do, especially when he wasted time boasting. That was probably why he failed."

"At least Puss tried. Using the Orbital Strike Cannon the whole game and suddenly coming out when time's running out? Yeah that was definitely to try make her score not as bad. Which didn't work by the way."
***End Confessional***
"Alright, the votes are in. Everyone competed here today. But, just so we can get this over with, I'm gonna get to the last two. That and because no one really voted for anyone else. Those two being Puss and Lucy."
"So. It has come down to this." Puss said.
"If we have to do a sudden death, just know that I'm going to make it quick." Lucy said.
"Yes. A quick loss."
"Well, let's find out. The lone marshmallow, because I wasn't going to waste money on one item, goes to..."

"Lucy!"
Puss looked on in disbelief.
"Puss, you can make that look all you want. The voters have spoken." Chris said.
Puss sighed afterwards. "Saying that I am not upset at this outcome would be complete dishonesty. But, at the same time, I will not be bitter. I wish you and everyone else on my team good luck. I will continue to watch from home." Puss extends a hand to Lucy. To which she takes before completely embracing him in a hug.
"Thanks. And for what it's worth, you tried your best. I'm really sorry that it has to end for you this way."
"Yes. So am I..." Puss croaked out, trying to breath through getting crushed by Lucy's embrace before she let him go, not even knowing what happened.
"As much as I know you all would like to do something similar, I must go. Chris, allow me to get my things before you send me off."
"Already got em." Doyle said before giving them to him.
"Thank you. Now, Chris. I am ready."
"If you say so." Chris said before sticking his palm out forward and then pulling it in, which also pulled Puss in. He then brought it down to the ground before quickly bringing upwards and in front of him, sending Puss flying out into a portal.
"Not the force but, pretty close. Magnetic gloves." Chris said, taking off the glove that almost looked perfectly like his hands. "Anyways, the rest of you are safe. For now."
"And with that, everyone's favorite hero is gone from the game. Guess everyone's gonna have to get a new favorite huh? But don't worry, you'll have time to decide when the next episode of Total...Drama...Across the Multiverse comes around!"
A/N: And Puss is the next to leave in this large cast. He played well regardless though. At the very least, he's got Winter Warriors to look forward to. And Cruis'n.
Next episode will be a challenge based off of one of the two most popular Battle Royales at the time: Fortnite. The other being PUBG, but that's not gonna be here, especially considering I never played PUBG. Note that I'll be basing things off Season 1 as that was the only time I really played the game. Haven't played it since.
