A Month Later.
Erin's POV

"I really hate those damned uniforms," I told Mom as I took a seat at the dining room table. Dad was at work and Zane was at the college since he lived on campus. I was out of my school attire and in the clothes I liked to wear. At the moment it was simple jeans and a black tank top.

Mom chuckled from her laptop and I felt bad for disturbing her work. When she learned Zane and I found out mates she was ecstatic. She had already met Ishizu and my brother's girlfriend would be hanging around Domino for another month or two before going back to Egypt for work. But she and Zane were going to have a long-distance relationship, and my dork of a brother was head over heels in love.

Mom almost didn't believe me when I told her that Seto Kaiba was my mate until Zane backed me up. Dad was just as shocked but accepted the news as did Mom. But now she wanted to meet Seto and I told her she would eventually. She was also troubled when I explained about Bakura and I told her I could handle the thief on my own.

Things went back to normal, and when I got home, I sent an email to Maxmillion Pegasus about Meraxes. Hopefully, he could give me some insight into where she was because if I was destined to help Yami save the modern world once again, I needed Meraxes.

"High school will pass before you know it" Mom reminded me. "Enjoy it while you can sweetheart"

"The moment I graduate, I'm getting rid of those uniforms," I growled. "I'm going out I'm bored sitting here"

Mom nodded and went back to her work while I went to my room to pull on a more decent-looking top. I chose a black version of the one I wore during the Battle City Finals and grabbed my purse and whatnot.

Have somewhere in mind Wielder? Balerion asked.

Not really I just had to get out of the house

Didn't you say you wanted that new Final Fantasy game? he teased.

The game he was referring to was Final Fantasy 10 and I completely forgot about it due to the Battle City Tournament. So I stopped by a GameStop, and as luck would have it, there was one Final Fantasy 10 copy left, and I snagged it. But I didn't feel like heading home just yet so my next stop was one of my favorite coffee shops. It had been eons since I last had a Frappuccino, and damn it, I was having one.

Naomi's POV

A knock at the door made me look at up from my laptop. I wasn't expecting company or any packages, so I closed my laptop and went to see who was outside of my house. What I wasn't expecting was for Seto Kaiba to be standing on my front porch.

"Sorry I think I got the wrong residence"

He was nervous and that wasn't like the President of Kaiba Corp.

"No your at the Randall residence Mr. Kaiba" I greeted him. "Come on in"

I stepped aside so the nervous human could enter. He sat down on one of the couches in the living room and offered him something to drink. He politely declined and I took a seat on the loveseat opposite of him.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, when my daughter said she was your mate I didn't believe it at first"

At mentioning Erin the young human broke into a smile.

"I would have said and felt the same way, you'll have to forgive me for being nervous, this is the first time I've met a full-blooded Nine-Tailed Fox"

"Rest assured you and your brother are welcome in my house, all I ask is that you treat my daughter well and with respect"

"Yes ma'am"

He then began to relax.

"So I heard you knew my stepfather"

I growled at the mention of Gozaburo Kaiba.

"I knew him and pardon my language but I told him to f**k off when he demanded that I work for him for a short period of time"

My future son-in-law laughed at that.

Erin's POV

My mind was still in Frappuccino fog when I shut the front door behind me. Well, it was until I suddenly caught Seto's scent, and I hurried into the living room to find Seto having a casual conversation with my mother. At seeing me, my Zaldrizes gave me his signature smirk, and Mom chose that moment to stand up.

"I'll let you two have some privacy"

"Mom please don't tell me you grilled him"

"She didn't, Kitsune," Seto reassured me.

Mom chuckled at my nickname before grabbing her laptop and going downstairs to the basement to work. I set my stuff down on the coffee table and it wasn't long until I was hugging my Zaldrizes. He wrapped his arms around me and gave my forehead a kiss.

"I've missed you"

"As have I, Erin"

"Are you sure Mom didn't interrogate you? She has a habit of making even the toughest people break into a sweat"

My mate chuckled.

"She didn't but I won't lie I was nervous upon meeting her"

"I think maybe because she's full Nine-Tailed Fox that gives her that intimidating aura"

"Maybe but I like her and I see you have her eyes"

There he goes with the teasing

"Don't get all me flustered, my Zaldrizes," I growled, feeling my face go red.

"That's my job, Erin"

A few minutes later, the two of us were in my room, and while Seto was looking around, I put Final Fantasy 10 away along with my purse and other stuff.

"I notice you like anime and other related stuff"

Yes, my walls had several anime and video game posters.

"Zane wasn't kidding when he said my family were nerds, I want to be a graphic designer or make video game characters come to life, Square Enix for one would be awesome to work for one day"

This caught his interest. I grabbed one of sketch books and held it out to him.

"Their not super fancy but I'm willing to improve my drawing"

Seto opened the sketchbook and took his time eying each drawing. He smiled when he came to the one of the Blue Eyes White Dragon. It was still in black and white and needed to be colored.

"God that drawing alone took hours to sketch out"

"You got talent here, Erin," Seto complimented, and he genuinely meant it. "Just remember to not exhaust yourself in your work and studies"

He set the sketchbook down on my bed and drew me into him. With a smirk, he claimed a quick kiss.

"Is Mokuba doing alright?" I asked after we pulled apart.

"He's fine, he actually saw I was free so he suggested I come and see you"

That made me smile, and before I forgot, I decided to give Seto my cell and email address.

"Do you have any plans this weekend?"

Sounds like he's trying to set up a date Silverwing teased.

Oh, hush, I scolded her.

"Not really I get the feeling you have something planned am I right?"

"If you mean wanting to take you on a date then yes I have some plans Kitsune"

Called it Silverwing gloated.

Mom chose that moment to rap lightly on my door.

"I don't mean to interrupt but something came in the mail for you"

Seto arched an eyebrow and I gave him a shrug as Mom gave the package. She then left, and I looked at the sender's address.

"It's from Pegasus!"

"Really?"

I nodded and explained that I emailed the Pegasus asking about Meraxes. Maybe he managed to find her card and sent it to me. Inside was a fancy-looking box that no doubt contained a card, and with it came a note. I read the note out loud.

Erin dear

It's good to hear from you again, and I wanted to voice my congratulations on how far you made it in Kaiba Boy's tournament.

Seto growled at hearing that nickname.

As for your question about Meraxes, I did make her into a card, but somehow, it disappeared before I gave you the Valyrian Deck. I tried to locate her card and so far have been unsuccessful; in time, I hope to locate it and return it to you. As for the card that's in the box I was unsure what to do with it until recently. But this card is for you alone, my dear, and not Kaiba.

"The heck does that mean?"

"My guess is it's probably a rare card that you would want, you did want the three Egyptian God Cards love"

Whatever card it was Pegasus seemed sure it should go to me. So, setting the note down, I picked up the box, and after Seto and I shared a look, I opened it. Both of our eyes went wide as a Blue Eyes White Dragon looked back at us.

"No way, he had a fifth Blue Eyes?"

"It would seem so"

I picked up the note again.

This Blue Eyes White Dragon is now yours and I know you'll use it well. Give my regards to your mother.
-M. Pegasus.

The minute I finished reading the note I had another flashback. And I wasn't alone this time because Seto was right with me.

"We're having another vision again" Seto stated.

"Yeah looks like it and I think this will explain what my connection is to Blue Eyes"

Like before, we were see-through, and the setting was inside someone's house back in Ancient Egyptian times. Laying on a bed was a sick child and beside him was Mareena. A basket of different plants lay beside her and the Nine-Tailed Fox hybrid was hard at work. The little girl in the bed looked really sick and Mareena looked tired as she finished smashing herbs together in a mortar and pestle. She then put them in some water before having one of the parents bring the little girl into a sitting position.

Mareena then carefully poured the contents into the sick girl's mouth and the father lay his daughter back down. Time passed, and all three adults never left the girl's side. Then the child opened her eyes and the parents burst into tears while Mareena checked the girl over. A smile came to her lips and she looked to the parents.

"She will live"

"Mareena was a healer," I told my Zaldrizes as I figured it out. "She must have tended to the sick while traveling"

The scene then changed to Mareena's camp out in the desert and it was night. Suddenly, Moonstone Dragon came to life beside its master and bared its teeth at something unknown. Then the familiar roar of Blue Eyes White Dragon was heard, and the all-powerful beast appeared before Mareena and her birth monster.

"Don't Moonstone," the hybrid ordered, holding an arm out to Moonstone Dragon.

She then walked up to Blue Eyes and waited. Blue Eyes then lowered its head, and it pressed its snout against Mareena's hands. I then felt the bond form between healer and monster awaken. Then Seto and I were back in the present.

"This doesn't bother you, does it? That I have a Blue Eyes of my own?" I asked Seto, looking at him. Mind you, I was still holding my Blue Eyes in its box.

Seto shook his head.

"No Kitsune it doesn't, the only other person worthy of using it is you"

"Quite a smooth talker aren't you?"

Seto smirked before whispering something in my ear and my reaction was my face turning blood red.

And there you have it, Erin now owns her own Blue Eyes White Dragon. Also be on the lookout for "The Healer" which will be Mareena's story and the love triangle between her, Priest Seto, and Thief King Bakura.
