A camera pans to many shots on the island. The familiar voice of Chirs Mclean is heard. "It's been 15 years since our show first aired, and we're back where it all began. This abandoned summer camp, somewhere in Muskoka, Canada. Back to the rundown cabins, hungry bears, hungrier bugs, the stinky outhouse where contestants confess their secrets, and of course, Chef's disgusting food." Camera pans to Chris walking on a field. "Today, 16 new contestants arrive and battle to be the last one standing and win 1 million dollars!" Money is on top of Chris. "Someone's gonna pick this up right?!" He stuffs some cash inside his shirt. "But winning won't be easy. This isn't just a reboot. It's a reboot to the face! Crazier challenges, deadlier dares, and a writing team made up of angry monkeys who want nothing more than to see humanity fall!" A monkey pushed a button, causing missiles to launch in the air, then the smoke shows Chris walking on the dock. "As always, I'm your host, Chris McLean, and this is Total! Drama! Island!"
Cut to Chris back on the dock. "Welcome back. Now let's meet the first 8 victims." he then laughed. "I mean campers! First up, Millie!" The camera pans to a girl with a red undershirt and a tan jacket. She was wearing jeans with boots.
Cut to a library where Millie was standing. She was holding a book. Throughout her audition, many pictures appeared. "In my parents' generation, to achieve fame, you had to either write a novel," a book was shown being thrown on the floor. "win a Gemmy," an award was shown. "or cure polio." a doctor is shown holding a shot. "But my generation can get famous by live streaming themselves eating hot peppers and vomiting while they cry." She shows a video of a person throwing up in a bucket. Cut to Millie walking outside and holding a notebook. "All you need is a ring light and Wi-fi connection, so I thought, what better place than Total Drama Island to research the epic fail that is my own generation!"
Cut to Millie arriving at the dock. "Welcome Millie, just on the red mat is fine." Chris said. "Next up, Axel." A girl with a ponytail and army-like wear was holding binoculars.
Cut to Axel running in an area. "I'm an experienced zombie survivalist with a primitive survival rating of 9.7." She then skids to a stop at an area, where cutout zombies popped up, making Axel narrowing her eyes. "So when the zombie apocalypse comes, I won't be scared!" She then uses her weapons to cut out the zombies. "But the zombies should be!"
Cut back to the dock, Axel tossing her bag and rolling out into a pose, holding a weapon. "Wow, you came prepared for everything! Over there beside Millie please! Next up, Priya!" A girl in a light blue shirt with patterns along with dark blue athletic leggings arrived. She was waving excitedly to Chris.
Cut to her room, which is filled with trophies. "My parents are huge Total Drama fans, and have been training me my entire life, just in case there was a reboot." Cut to a snowy mountain where her mom and dad were trying to get baby Priya out of her mom's tummy. "My very first bungee jump was with my own umbilical cord." The baby laughed. Then cut to young Priya doing the monkey bars. "There's nothing I'm not ready for." Priya was climbing a rock wall while a bear was chasing her. "Scary challenges, I've done them all!" Cut to Priya and her dad, who was dressed like Owen, jousting. She blocked her dad's hit before jumping in the air and knocking him off. "Other players? They'll all be toast!"
Priya immediately rushed to hug him. "Hi Chris! I'm so pumped to be here!"
"Yeah." Chris was suffocating from Priya's tight hug. "On the red mat please! Next up, all around fun dude, Zee!" Cut to a man with a ponytail, wearing a green cap, a yellow shirt, and red jeans, chilling on the boat.
Cut to Zee opening a fridge getting out a soda. "What's up? I'm Hezekias, but my peeps just call me Zee." Cut to him sitting on his bed. "Breakfast soda." He opened a soda can and drank from it. "I may not be the strongest, or the fastest, or like, try super hard, or remember what I'm talking about?"
Cut on the dock. "Chris, my man, bring it in." He proceeded to hug Chris, but was stopped.
"Nope. Our next camper is Ripper."
Cut to a fat guy wearing a green striped shirt with tan shorts.
Cut to a school locker. "There's only two things that make a man look weak: caring about other people and eating mild chicken wings. I don't care about anyone! And I always order my chicken wings, burning inferno hot!"
Cut to Ripper walking to a bus. "Did you know that pooping in a stranger's purse is an illegal crime?" The bus driver closed the door.
Cut to Ripper taking mugshots. "Yet somehow, if I hadn't done that, I would've still ended up with a criminal record. "Who's making those laws?!"
Cut to Ripper on the dock. "Time for beast mode!" He ripped off his shirt and flexed his muscles, grossing out the girls.
"Take a long dreamy glance ladies, because once I win the million bucks, I'll be outta your league."
"I don't see a suitcase anywhere. Was that your only shirt?" Chris pointed out.
"Aw, fart nuggets!"
"We'll find you something. Next up Damien!"
Cut to a guy wearing a yellow hat, along with a jacket and black sweatpants.
Cut to a chemistry lab. "Hey yo hey yo it's Damien time! I've never heard of Total Drama Island, but my friends dared me to make an audition tape." Cut to his friends waving at the camera. "And if there's a million dollars up for grabs, COUNT ME IN! How hard can it be huh?" He was holding a test tube before it got on fire. "Ah! FIRE! FIRE!"
Cut back to Damien on the dock. "Hey, what's up? I'm here for that million bucks? Where's it at?" Damien asked.
"We don't just give it to you. You have seen this show, have you?" Chris inquired.
"Nope. How do I earn it?"
"Oh, you are gonna be fun!"
Damien stepped on the red mat and took a look at the people on his team so far. Priya caught his eye and blushed.
"Oh hi! Damien, right?" Priya asked.
"Yep, and you must be Priya right?" Damien said.
"Yep. I'm so pumped to be here. I've been preparing for this all of my life! What about you?" Priya said.
"Oh, me? I've actually never seen this show before." Damien said.
"Well, good luck, you're gonna need it."
"Speaking of fun, here comes Lauren!" A girl with pale skin, a black and purple dress and striped socks with boots arrived, smiling creepily.
Cut to an amusement park behind her. "I wanna come on this show and make a lot of new friends, and then watch them get really hurt." She pushed the lever down and a ride exploded. "Yeah, I like that."
Cut back to the dock. "Welcome."
"You should stop looking at me."
Chris then covered his eyes. "Okay then, let's look at camper #8, Chase!"
A boy with a red sweatshirt and tan pants was water-skiing his way to the dock.
Cut to a city skyline with Chase in a helicopter. "What's up? I'm Chase. You probably know me from my livestream," he changes in a sing-songy tune. "Three Guys and a Girl and a Beach House! Except now it's just, Three Guys and a Beach House!"
Cut to Chase near the front hallway of a house. "Cause my girlfriend Emma, out of nowhere, dumped me!"
Cut to photos of all of his friends with different animals. "Anyway, we prank each other, dare each other to eat crazy stuff, and do wicked awesome stunts like this!" He opened the door for the helicopter and jumped out of it, before landing in a pool on his groin. "If you like this video, don't forget to subscribe!" He said in a squeaky voice while the helicopter crashed in the background.
"All right, the 8 of you will form our first team!" Chris said back on the dock. "Now let's welcome the first member of the second team, Bowie!" A tall skinny guy with dyed blonde hair, a purple crop top and green jeans arrived. He was also wearing heart-shaped sunglasses and a pearl necklace.
Cut to Bowie in a gym. "I'm Bowie, and I will be your first ever openly gay contestant. FYI, I'm very competitive." He effortlessly scored the basketball into the hoop, making a 'swish' sound.
Cut to Bowie in another outfit, this time wearing a formal purple tuxedo with a cape, wearing a crown. "Just last year, I was crowned Prom King AND Queen! A first, am I right? You can never have too many crowns! So Total Drama, I'm coming for your crown next!"
Cut to the dock again. "Welcome Bowie! Just on the green mat right over there! Next up, Emma!"
"What the who now?" Chase stammered.
A girl with a collared skirt and orange sweater arrived.
Cut to Emma's house. She was jumping on a trampoline. "Hi there, I'm Emma, and I'd be great on Total Drama Island!"
Cut to Emma sitting on a couch, holding a tablet. "I used to be a part of a livestream with my boyfriend and his friends doing all of these crazy challenges, but I'm not part of that gang anymore." Cut to Emma outside, holding a bow and arrow.
"Because my stupid boyfriend is now my stupid ex-boyfriend and I AM NEVER GOING TO SEE HIM AGAIN!" She aimed at Chase's picture.
Cut to Emma back on the dock, looking angry. "WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?!" She asked in rage.
However, Chase didn't look fazed at all. "Babe?!"
Emma was about to pounce on him, until Zee and Chris had to physically restrain him.
"Come on girl, he's not worth it!" Zee said.
"Ooh! Past drama! I'm liking this already." Bowie said, clearly enjoying the drama.
Chris set her on the green mat. "Wow! Intense! You'd almost think we brought you both here on purpose! Up next, Mary Kate!" A short girl with a beanie, jacket and green pants arrived.
Cut to MK in a shop. "Heya, call me MK. People think you win Total Drama by being smart, but nah, people see that. What you need is a secret talent. Want to know what mine is?"
A voice was heard behind her. "Hey! Where's my wallet?" Then it shows MK with the stolen wallet. "I'm always underestimated, yeah, yeah, I'm comin' for that prize money!"
"MK, just over there please and now," He gushes at the next contestant. "Caleb." A tall, buff guy with a pink shirt was looking at the camera.
Cut to Caleb sunbathing at the beach. "Hey there, I'm Caleb. I'd be a great addition to Total Drama Island. I bench press 350 pounds, got an early acceptance to MIT and I volunteer at a kitten orphanage. You should consider me as an option. That million dollars is mine."
The intern kept driving until she crashed on the dock. "Wow, sorry, it's just, I've never seen anyone as handsome as you before!"
Caleb pats the intern on the back. "No worries, it happens all the time." He uses his strength to throw the boat back into the water.
"Oh my!" Priya was blushing.
"Woah!" Emma and Bowie were in awe.
Wow! It's pretty clear who's gonna win this one. Twenty bucks on that guy." Zee said.
"Betting against yourself seems wrong." Priya mentioned.
"Disagree! If I win, I get a million dollars, but if I don't and he does, then I make twenty bucks." Zee said.
"Our next two players came as a package deal. All the way from northern Alberta, Wayne and Raj!"
Two boys in hockey jerseys were smiling. One was a guy with blond hair in a red cap and the other boy had brunette hair.
Cut to a hockey rink. "Hey guys, I'm Wayne and this is my buddy Raj!"
"Hoot! Hoot!"
"We're from the proudest hockey team from Alberta, the Snow Owls!"
"And we're coming home with that prize!"
"Hoot! Hoot!"
Cut back to Wayne and Raj on the boat, taking in the view.
"Dude, imagine wintertime, this lake turning to ice." Raj imagined.
"Biggest hockey rink ever bro." Wayne said and they both burst into laughter.
"Hey, we're here eh." Raj said.
"Boys, your team is over on the green mat." Chris directed.
"Sweet! Thanks coach!"
They boys took a look at their team. "Guess that makes this the other team then. Whatcha, think Rajie?" Wayne asked.
"Meh, I'd be more impressed with a clogged toilet." Raj said.
"Oh yeah, well, you both, you two are, then, look out cause…" Ripper struggled to make up an insult.
"Oh no, I think this half-naked man is broken!" Raj pretended to panic.
"Oh be nice Rajie. Maybe it's his first day with a new mouth hole." Wayne said before he and Raj burst into laughter.
Ripper stormed to them but Axel stopped him. "Save it for the game."
"Don't tell me what to do!" Ripper yelled, before Axel growled at him.
"I'm gonna save it for the game."
"Our next camper is a bit of a big deal. Welcome, Nichelle Ladonna!" A girl with dreadlocks, a purple shirt and green sweatpants arrived.
Cut to Nichelle backstage. "Hello, viewing world! Total Drama Island would be so great for me as a chance for me to be more famous! And like I always say, 'never turn back!"
Cut back to the docks. "Hi everyone! It's me!"
Everyone was in awe. "Nichelle Ladonna?! THE NICHELLE LADONNA?!" Bowie gasped.
"Star of the hit TV show, 'Hot Teen Ninja Detective Squad!'" Raj gasped.
"I loved her in 'Gorgeous People High!'' Emma said.
"Be cool. Be cool. OMG! I AM LITERALLY THE BIGGEST FAN EVER!" Priya yelled.
Nichelle just looked at her nails. "M'kay."
"Our last arrival is Julia." A girl with blonde hair, a white tank top, and ripped shorts was sitting at the front of the boat, striking a pose.
Cut to Julia meditating. "So a little about me, I think the show is such an amazing platform for me to share my personal light and positive energy with the world. I'm an influencer, a Mandy Bellville brand ambassador, and a proud citizen of Mother Earth. I can't wait to embark on Total Drama to begin my journey of self-discovery. Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air, crystals are real, prayer hands emoji!"
Cut back to the dock. "Welcome Julia, to the green mat-"
"Sorry, could you?" Julia took a selfie with Chris. "Growing #MyJourneyBegins!"
"Uh, excuse me, remember the contract you signed? No phones are allowed inside the competition." Chris said.
"How am I supposed to tell my followers if I'm growing as a person if I can't tell them?" Julia asked.
"I don't care. Give Chef your phone please." Chef held a cardboard box where Julia put her phone in.
"All of it!" Chris said. Julia grumbled and reached inside her shirt to take out all of her phones.
"That girl has so many phones!" Chase said.
Julia took one last look at her phones. "Bye babies, don't worry, Mummy will be back soon!"
"Don't worry, your phones will be safe, at the bottom of this lake!" Chef threw the box as far as he could into the water, making Julia scream.
"Alright, now with that out of the way, Millie, Axel, Priya, Zee, Ripper, Damien, Scary Girl and Chase, you guys will be known as the Ferocious Trout!" Chris tossed them a flag, which Chase caught. It unraveled itself to show a red trout.
"And Bowie, Emma, MK, Caleb, Wayne, Raj, Nichelle and Julia. You guys are officially known as the Frogs of Death!" Chris tossed them another flag, which Emma caught. The logo showed a frog with a skull symbol.
"Your teams will compete against each other in everyday challenges, where the winning team will win safety." Chef said.
"The losing team must attend a campfire ceremony, where they must vote off one of their own teammates, and that person must immediately head to the Dock of Shame and be blown away by the Drone of Despair." Chris explained, then sighed. "I enjoy seeing you accomplish nothing except watching yourselves getting hurt, for my entertainment."
Damien laughed nervously. "Sorry, um, how are we getting hurt?" he asked nervously.
"He's never seen this show before." Chris mentioned it to Chef.
"Oh, that poor sweet child." Chef worriedly said.
"Trout, your cabin is on the left, Frogs, you're on the right. Today, you can settle in and get to know your teammates. Tomorrow, we start your first challenge. Questions?"
"Are the cabins co-ed?" Ripper asked before laughing before Axel set her bag on his foot.
"Can I vote now?"
"Do challenges get postponed if it's too hot?"
"Can I switch to the team that has the word 'death' in the name?"
"Are we getting hurt?"
"What if I don't have a question?!"
The air horn sounded, making everyone cover their ears. "Times up. No more questions, beat it!"
Confessional (Priya): "This is so cool! I can't believe I'm actually in the Total Drama Confessional! Hi Mom and Dad!"
Cut to Priya sitting on the bed. "This one's perfect!"
"I'll take the top!" Axel threw her bag on the top. Priya moved out of the way just in time before the top bended.
"Whoa! I'll go pick a different bed." Priya went off.
"Whatever!"
Priya sat down on another bed. Scary Girl peeked her head from the top of the bunk. "Do you scream in your sleep?" she asked.
"Uh, no." Priya said.
"We'll see." Scary Girl disappeared.
"Okay, I'm gonna try the bunk way over there."
Priya sat down on another bed. She set her bag down and laid down on her back. "Yep, this is the one." she said before the bed crushed her inside.
"Do you need help?" Millie asked.
"I really do." her voice was muffled.
Cut to the boys side of the Trout cabin.
"Wait, so your ex-girlfriend really broke up with you?" Ripper asked.
"Yeah, but it's only a matter of time before she comes crawling up to me again." Chase said.
"I bet 10 bucks you won't get back with her." Zee said, while sipping his soda.
"Well, I bet he will! May the best man win!" Ripper and Zee shook hands.
Cut to the boys side of the Frogs cabin. "Our team has some real hotties!" Wayne said, lying on the top bunk.
"For sure eh, which one's your favorite?" Raj asked.
"I don't know. Emma and Julia are cool influencers, and Nichelle's a literal action hero!" Wayne said.
"Hotties, you say?" Bowie tossed his bag next to the Hockey Bros' bunk. "Well, if you're gonna talk about me, I'll give you some privacy." he left.
"He's cool eh, Bowie, was it?" Wayne said.
"Yeah, he is." Raj said.
Cut to the girls' side of the cabin. Julia was putting flowers in a small pot. "So much more aesthetic. Flowers always make myself happy." she didn't see MK snag a golden necklace and a phone from her pocket.
"Oh yeah, I'm much happier now." she said to herself.
Bowie and Emma were sitting on the top bunk. "So, your ex-boyfriend Chase, what's up with that?" Bowie asked, striking up a conversation.
"I cannot believe Chase is here! This is supposed to be my competition! But no, he just has to come in and ruin everything!" Emma vented.
"Let it out, what did he do to you? Tell me everything!" Bowie said, clearly wanting gossip.
"I don't wanna get into it, but when I win the million, I'm donating half of it to an animal hospital." Emma said.
"Aw! That is something I would never do!" Bowie said, faking concern.
Confessional (Bowie): "First rule of strategy, an alliance starts with two people. I like Emma's vibe. She's athletic and a little spicy! That's who I'm after."
Cut to nighttime at the cabins. Raj takes out a diary he packed in his duffel bag and writes in his day.
Day 1 of camp. Got to know so many people from all parts of Canada. From Toronto to British Columbia. My team is filled with so many famous people. Me and Wayne are popular hockey stars, you already know that, Emma and Julia are popular influencers, Caleb is strong and smart, Nichelle is a popular actress. Can't forget about MK too, tiny but clever. And Bowie, ah, Bowie, when I saw him for the first time, he looked like he just walked out of a fashion magazine, and is the first openly gay contestant on this show…wait, why am I blurting about Bowie over here?
Luckily, Wayne was a deep sleeper, so Raj quickly put his stuff away and went to bed, dozing off.
