A lot had happened for Nikki Maxwell these past years but she still remained herself.

Let's do a recap.

Two months before Nikki had graduated from WCD highschool,she had noticed one thing about herself.

She lost interest in her crush Brandon Roberts.

She instead fell in love with Andre Davenport.

Everyone said they were ment to be right?

Correct.

But not for Brandon Roberts.

When Brandon had found out his crush didn't like him anymore,he was distraught.

How could he have not asked her out in time?

I mean they always knew they had feelings for each other,but what had changed? Was he just not charming anymore to her?

Few months had passed and by that time everyone knew Nikki and Andre were together.

Andre decided to follow his step-fathers career and began working for the United Nations.

Nikki decided to become a fashion designer.She had also become a local celebrity,she was on multiple magazines and did a couple of runways.

Clearly they were both very successful in their own ways.

After College Andre decided to propose to Nikki when they both went out to a fancy restaurant.

Today also marks their 10th year anniversary.

As the brunette fluttered her eyes open,she lie next to her husband.

She stayed there on her side,smiling at her asleep lover.

Time really went by,huh?

As she slowly shuffled out of bed and put on her robe and slippers to go downstairs and drink her coffee she glanced at the calendar.

October 15th marked in a big red heart.

They both had wanted to do a big party for their anniversary,inviting everyone they knew.

She took a sip out of her mug and stared out the window.

They both lived in a big house with maids. This was the dream life younger Nikki would've wanted.

But now that she was older,this was the bare minimum.

She was still dorky and nice,she had promised herself even after marrying a CCP she wouldn't become like one.

Plus Andre never acted like a CCP,people treated him like that because Tiffany was a CCP herself.

Speaking of Tiffany,she was now Nikki's sister in law..you can imagine the annoyance there.

Suddenly Andre came downstairs and greeted Nikki.

"Hey" he smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Hi" she smiled back and continued drinking.

"You excited for tonight?" Andre asked.

"Yeah,I'm just nervous about meeting your mother after last time.." she chuckled.

Last time Nikki went over with Andre to his parents his mother got drunk over the wine and started drunk talking to Nikki.

"Soo~ when are you two having childrennn?…" She slurred.

Nikki was left speechless.

"Haha,Trust me if she says anything like that again I'll talk to her." He laughed.

Nikki and Andre had a great relationship,great income,great stability,great everything.

But what about Brandon?

Brandons career was a vet,he decided to work full time at fuzzy friends to keep it going.

He was up early in the mornings and back home late.

He still kept contact with Chloe and Zoey and some other friends from WCD.

But he lost the one friend he loved the most.

Nikki Maxwell.

He refused to address her by her new name Mrs. Davenport.

It just wasn't right.

Well for him.

A little part of him still wants her back.still yearning for that. funny,kind,and smart Nikki.

He just wishes he could change it.

Nikki and Brandon hadn't kept in contact since it would be just plain awkward.

And because of their last argument.

And Brandon being Brandon he sometimes checked up on her.

Well not physically but socially.

Just seeing them two together made him physically and mentally sick.

But for the most part,he had to get over her either he liked It or not.

He was financially stable,sometimes not but he gotten over it most times.

But today was the last straw for that stupid relationship.

"Sorry- I have to take this." He mumbled,quite embarrassed at how he could've forgotten to silence his phone during work.

He stepped outside and answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"BRAAAAAAAANDONNNNN!!!!"

"Oh,hi mackenzie."

Mackenzie had also changed and became friends with Chloe,Zoey,And Brandon.

She wasn't the same old mean self.

I guess Tiffany really gave her a different perspective on life.

"BRANDON!! OMG YOU WONT BELIEVE WHAT I FOUND OUT"

"What happened? I'm getting worried now!"

"Okay sorry,so today marks ten years of that stupid marriage."

"What marriage?? What are yo-?

Oh…Nikki and Andre's huh?"

"YES! And today they are hosting a party,Tiffany told me."

"…where?"

"It's at this country club it's at Maryville stre- waitttt..don't tell me you're gonna surprise them by inviting yourself"

"BRANDON!! It's their 10th anniversary!! You can't be serious!"

"Well she surprised me by LEAVING ME! So..yeah! I'll be there! No matter what."

"Yeah okay whatever,so are you gonna like stalk them or something and see if they are unhappy with their marriage??"

"Actually yeah,thanks for the idea."

"Wait are you seriou-?"

"Bye thanks! Appreciate it."

Brandon instantly turns off the call and sighs out of frustration.

10 years? This means it's been 12 years since his Nikki left him.
