Night Stone Chapter 1

It was nighttime in the small town of Royal Wood, Michigan. In this town, there is a house that is home to a large family consisting of 11 children, 4 pets, and 2 parents who assert that they manage everything on their own. This family is known as the Loud Family.

Lori was conversing with her boyfriend, Bobby Santiago, over the phone. Leni was engrossed in a teen magazine. Luna was listening to music through her earphones. Luan was jotting down a joke in her notebook. Lynn Jr. was weighing 100 plants. Lucy was absorbed in a book about phantoms in the vent. Lana was feeding her pet frog, Hops, before bedtime. Lola was admiring herself in the mirror. Lisa was engaged in her late-night experiments. Lily was napping in her bed.

All four pets were sleeping downstairs. Charles was sleeping next to the couch, Cliff was in the kitchen on top of the refrigerator sleeping peacefully, Geo was in his ball in the living room where Charles was, and Walt was in his bird cage.

The parents, Rita and Lynn Sr., were sleeping in their own room after a long day. All the Loud family members were ready to sleep after their long day, but there was one Loud family member who had a different idea. The youngest Loud sibling enjoyed reading comic books in his underwear and called himself the "Man with the Plan." His name was Lincoln Loud, the only boy in the Loud family.

Lincoln was in his room, but he was not himself. Usually, Lincoln would be playing his new video game, reading his comic book hero Ace Savvy, or talking to his best friend Clyde on his walkie-talkie. But today, he was not doing any of those things, and he had not been himself for the past few 2 weeks.

After Lincoln took a deep sigh, he looked at the reader, breaking the fourth wall, and began to speak. "Oh, hi guys. Sorry I haven't spoken to you for a while, but the last two weeks have not been great," Lincoln said, taking out the remote. "Here, I'll show you what happened." With that, Lincoln pushed the button, and it started showing a flashback.

Flash Back:

Two weeks ago, Clyde hurried to the Loud House. After being let in, Clyde barged into Lincoln's room and informed him that the Ace Savvy convention was holding a "Kings of the Con" contest, where the best cosplayers would win a role in the upcoming Ace Savvy movie. Eager to win, Lincoln and Clyde realized that they needed to stand out more to increase their chances of winning. After some consideration, the two discovered their homemade issue of Ace Savvy featuring the Full Deck and immediately decided to recruit the sisters.

The boys convened a sibling meeting and invited Lincoln's sisters to accompany them to the convention as the full deck. However, the sisters initially declined due to their lack of interest in Ace Savvy. Upon learning that the winners of a cosplay contest would have the chance to star in a movie, the sisters promptly agreed to join.

After understanding what Ace Savvy is, the girls suit up and head to the convention center. Upon entering, Lincoln instructs the Louds and Clyde to look for two individuals wearing orange vests, as they are the judges of the cosplay contest. Once they locate the judges, they present themselves, and Lincoln and Clyde realize that they need to impress the judges further to win. They attempt to guess the number of poker chips in a jar, but Lisa answers before they can, earning praise from the judges. They then try to gain more attention with a strength game, but Lynn easily surpasses them, garnering more praise for the sisters from the judges.

While hiding behind cardboard cutouts of Ace Savvy and One-Eyed Jack, Lincoln and Clyde overhear the judges mentioning that they are considering the Full Deck as the winners but have decided to overlook Lincoln and Clyde due to their lackluster performance. Hurt by these remarks, Lincoln and Clyde resolve to do whatever it takes to impress the judges. Unfortunately, all of their attempts to impress the judges fail miserably and only serve to diminish their favorability. The two eventually realize that in order to fully impress the judges, they need to solve a crime. When they learn that the Kitty, one of Ace Savvy's biggest enemies, has finished signing autographs, they devise the perfect plan.

While hiding in a photo booth, Lincoln and Clyde decide to kidnap the Kitty and use its "disappearance" as a crime for them to solve. After locating the Kitty's trailer outside, they barely manage to get the Kitty into a cage and conceal it in a supply closet. Shortly thereafter, a voice on the intercom informs the attendees that the Kitty is missing and cautions them to stay away from the cat, as it is highly vicious and trained to defend itself. Taking this as their cue, Lincoln and Clyde proceed to the supply closet where they hid the Kitty, only to find that it has escaped from its cage.

As Lincoln and Clyde scurried around the convention, they spotted the Kitty. However, as they approached, the highly trained cat viciously attacked them. They attempted to capture him using a feather-covered drone but were once again met with aggression. While continuing their search for the Kitty, Lincoln and Clyde mistook a rope on the girders for the cat. Suddenly, they were noticed by the Kitty, who pinned them to the wall with hairballs. In a desperate move, Lincoln instructed Clyde to remove his (Lincoln's) mask and spit it onto a spotlight, creating a distress signal. The sisters saw the signal and immediately rushed to the stage, where they found Lincoln and Clyde restrained.

With the assistance of the Louds and Clyde, they successfully manage to secure the Kitty back into its cage. At that moment, the curtain rises, revealing Lincoln and Clyde holding the cage with the Kitty inside. The judges, assuming they had captured it, are impressed and declare them the winners of the contest. When the boys realize this outcome would result in the sisters being disqualified, they admit to having kidnapped the Kitty in an attempt to overshadow the girls. The girls are understandably upset, and Lincoln and Clyde explain that the girls were receiving all the accolades, and the boys merely desired equal recognition. Upon hearing this confession, the judges revoke the boys' victory and declare the girls the rightful winners.

Sometime later, the judges stated that although they were dismayed by the boys' act of theft, which involved stealing a cat in an attempt to outshine someone else, they managed to secure them a role in the movie after all: as the Kitty's personal litter box scoopers. This outcome brought great disappointment to the boys but immense delight to the Kitty.

Not only had Lincoln and Clyde lost their chance to be in the main movie, but once again Lincoln's sisters Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Jr, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa, and Lily had risen to fame. Lincoln was once again deemed a loser, talentless, a black sheep, and always destined to remain in his sisters' shadow no matter what he did.

End of Flashback

Lincoln put the remote down and took out his phone, showing a picture of the movie Ace Savvy and Full Deck. It showed his sisters in their hero suits. Lori was in her High Card hero suit in the Ace Save Van, Leni was in her Eleven Heart suit swinging her heart rope, Luna was in her Night Clue suit with her powerful guitar emitting sound waves, Luan in her The Joker suit punching bad guys with a joke, Lynn Jr in her Strong Suit lifting a train, Lucy in her Eight Spades suit flying in the air with her weapon surrounded by a dark aura, Lana in her Royal Flush suit surfing in water with her weapon, Lola in her Queen of Diamonds suit shooting diamonds out of her hand, Lisa in her Card Counter suit blasting math at enemies, and Lily in her Deuce suit wearing a violet dress and throwing stink bombs.

It shows all his sisters, but Lincoln isn't there; instead, Clyde is holding the cat. Lincoln looks up from his phone and addresses the reader, saying, "My sisters will always be winners, and I will be a loser for the rest of my life." Lincoln sighed a little. He gets out of bed and walks to the window, gazing at the night sky.

If you are inquiring about the whereabouts of Ronnie Anne and Sid, Ronnie Anne's family has planned a visit to their relatives for four days, while Sid is currently unwell, suffering from a cold.

While Lincoln kept gazing out the window, he couldn't help but notice how peaceful it was. Perhaps a night walk would help clear his mind, Lincoln thought. With that, Lincoln pulled the emergency slide. "I need to thank Lisa for this," Lincoln said. Sliding down, he began heading into the night, unaware that one of his family members had noticed his actions.

After a few minutes, Lincoln began to feel a sense of peace from the walk. He thought to himself, "This is truly a good idea, taking a walk at night." As Lincoln looked up, he noticed the full moon illuminating the night sky. "Now I understand why Lucy enjoys walking at night," he reflected.

"Yes, it is spooky, isn't it?" a voice said, causing Lincoln to jump in fear and fall onto his back. After a few seconds, Lincoln looked up and saw his little sister, Lucy Loud, appearing out of nowhere.

"Lucy, what are you doing here?" Lincoln asked, still in shock. "The same thing as you," Lucy replied with a sigh at the end. With that, Lucy extended a hand to help her brother, and Lincoln took it, pulling himself back up. Without a second thought, Lucy spoke again. "So why are you out here tonight? Are you finally ready to join the dark side? Lucy asked.

Lincoln didn't know what to say. At first, he wanted to tell Lucy what was wrong. Lucy was one of his sisters who was particularly close to him. He and Lucy were very similar in many ways; sometimes their other sisters teased them about it. They were always the last to make a decision, hesitant and unsure. Neither of them would admit it, but they both felt like the black sheep of the family. Before he could say or do anything, a light suddenly pierced through the darkness, accompanied by someone shouting.

You are not getting this, a man says. Before Lincoln and Lucy could say anything, a loud sound of pain and a gunshot. That shocked and terrified both Lincoln and Lucy. Before anything, they notice the person got shot and still tries to move.

"We need to help that person, Lincoln," Lucy said, nodding her head. With that, Lincoln and Lucy rushed to the scene where the person had been shot. The victim was a man with blond hair, appearing to be around the same age as Flip but slightly younger and with a full head of hair. They noticed the man had been shot in the chest, blood steadily pouring out as he struggled to breathe through the gaping wound.

"Are you doing okay?" Lincoln asked, though he knew the answer. Lucy looked at the man, and his condition was rapidly deteriorating. "Lincoln, I sense he's starting to slip away. He needs a doctor before his time runs out," Lucy said, her voice trembling with fear. Her urgency startled Lincoln slightly, but he did not hesitate to act.

Before Lincoln could retrieve his phone, the man who appeared shocked began to speak. "Wait, are you Lincoln and Lucy Loud?" the man asked, his voice trembling. They both nodded their heads, confused as to how this man knew names. "Yes, that's us," Lincoln confirmed. "How do you know our names?" Lucy asked, her voice tinged with curiosity.

"Look, there is no time to explain, but you two are the world's last hope," the man said. Slowly, he raised his hand, revealing six books he was holding. The first book was white and light blue, with a cover featuring the symbol of a snowflake next to a storm cloud and a diamond gemstone in the center. The second book was dark, with red and black lines, and bore the symbol of a shadow with a black onyx at its core. The third book was adorned with blue and yellow lines and displayed the symbol of brainwaves with an opal in the middle. The fourth book was purple, encircled by a black ring, and showcased the symbol of a phantom with an amethyst gemstone. The fifth book was light blue with three black lines in the middle, bearing the symbol of two golden gears with a peridot gemstone at the center. The sixth and final book was red, with two purple lines on the top and one at the bottom, featuring the symbol of an animal paw with a tiger's eye gemstone in the center.

With that, he handed the book to Lincoln and Lucy, along with the other four. "It will tell you what to do," the man said, but he coughed up blood, prompting Lincoln and Lucy to look at him with concern. "What about you?" Lucy and Lincoln asked.

I have been fine, but you must leave as well. Utilize your abilities, locate others, and save the world, the man instructs. He suddenly halts as the sound of a car startles him, his eyes widening in surprise before he glances back at them. "Quickly run! Find a safe place immediately," urges.

With that, Lincoln and Lucy began to flee. After running for a while, they heard a loud noise and came to an abrupt stop. At that moment, a shot rang out, leaving an eerie silence in its wake. Lucy instinctively covered her mouth and looked at her brother with wide eyes. "Lincoln, does that mean...?" she asked, her voice trembling as tears began to well up. Lincoln solemnly nodded, his expression filled with gravity. He walked over to her and embraced her, offering comfort and helping her to regain her composure.

Let us get home and determine what this means, Lincoln said, prompting Lucy to nod her head.

It took only a few minutes for Lincoln and Lucy to return home. After up the emergency slide and retracting it, they both made their way back to Lincoln's room. A few moments later, Lincoln took a deep breath before speaking, "Alright, we're back. Everyone is still asleep." Lucy then asked, "So, Lincoln, what are we going to do now?" prompting Lincoln to look at her.

"What do you mean, Lucy?" Lincoln asked, clearly puzzled by her words, "I mean the book that was given to," Lucy replied, as she revealed the book. Upon seeing it, Lincoln realized he had almost forgotten about it. "Oh, I almost forgot about that," he admitted as he retrieved the remaining of the book. Together, Lincoln and I placed the book carefully on his desk.

Once they place the book on the desk, the two books start glowing. The one that had a symbol of a book was white and light blue, with a cover featuring the symbol of a snowflake next to a storm cloud and a diamond gemstone in the center. The second book was dark, with red and black lines, and bore the symbol of a shadow with a black onyx at its core.

"Lincoln, what is happening?" Lucy asked, fear evident in her voice for the first time in her life. "I don't, Lucy," Lincoln replied. Moments later, the book began to float in the air, leaving both of them astonished. For some inexplicable reason, both Lincoln and reached out for the book. The book Lincoln grasped was the one with the snowflake cloud, while Lucy reached for the one shrouded in shadow.

As they grasp the book, it emits a radiant glow of energy and begins to merge with them, reminiscent of the transformations in Power Rangers Charge. Consequently, the book Lincoln's hand transforms into a watch adorned with a symbol of a snowflake alongside a storm. Meanwhile, Lucy's book morphs into a pendant.

After that, Lincoln and Lucy were in shock over what had transpired, and it would be best to investigate further in the morning. "So, what are we going to do with the other book, Lincoln?" Lucy asked. "I just put it in the dresser drawer to keep it safe from our siblings, especially the noisy one," Lincoln replied, causing both him and Lucy to laugh at the joke.

Well, big brother, I leave for now, but we need to find out what happened to us and what the man means, we are the last hope. Lucy says to enter the vent to get back to her room. While Lincoln lay down on his bed while looking at the watch that us to be a book. When he pushes down the core of the symbol, it turns back into the book, surprising him. After he pushed down again, it turned back into a watch.

"I must inform Lucy about this," Lincoln says. Mentioned he was starting to fall asleep. However, what they did not realize was that Lincoln and Lucy are the world's hope.
