Summary

In this self‑aware animated parody of the classic "Arthur's Big Hit" episode, young cockroach Joey Jr. and his schoolmate Lola find themselves in a comic tiff that quickly escalates. When Lola playfully swats Joey Jr. with a tiny party horn, Joey Jr. surprises everyone by retaliating with a real punch to her arm. Shocked, both cockroach clans scramble to mediate, leading Joey Jr. to learn that two wrongs don't make a right—and that sometimes the hardest thing to do is say you're sorry.

INT. OGGY'S KITCHEN – DAY

1. OPENING SHOT
A bright cartoon kitchen. Sunlight streams in. On the countertop, cockroach toys are scattered.

2. ESTABLISHING
JOEY JR., a small purple cockroach, and LOLA, a pink child cockroach with a temper, crouch behind a cracker box, playing "roaches vs. humans."

LOLA
(whispering excitedly)
…and when the human bends down, I'll toot this party horn right in his ear!

3. ACTION
Lola sneaks out, raises the horn, and HONKS it firmly on Joey Jr.'s arm. He yelps.

JOEY JR.
Ow! Hey, cut it out!

4. REACTION
Lola giggles, but Joey Jr.'s eyes flash red. For a beat, time slows: he clenches his tiny fist.

5. THE PUNCH
Joey Jr. swings and lightly but firmly PUNCHES Lola's arm. She gasps and tears up.

LOLA
(hurt)
You hit me back?!

6. COMIC PAUSE
Other roaches—DEE DEE and MARKY—peek from behind a sugar bowl, jaws dropped.

What's all this racket?

8. ENTRANCE
OGGY walks in to see Joey Jr. and Lola arguing.

OGGY
Joey Jr., what did you do to Lola?

Joey Jr. looks down, ashamed.

JOEY JR.
She honked me first… but I… I hit back.

OGGY sighs, gentle but firm.

OGGY
Sometimes, when someone hurts us, we hurt them back. But that only leads to more hurt.

9. MORAL MOMENT
Lola hugs her arm, sniffles. Joey Jr. steps forward.

JOEY JR.
Lola, I'm sorry I punched you.

Lola considers, then nods.

LOLA
I'm sorry I honked you. Let's… call it even?

They shake hands.

10. RESOLUTION
OGGY smiles, holds up a cookie.

OGGY
Truce cookies for everyone!

They cheer. Freeze-frame on their happy faces as upbeat music plays.

11. END CREDITS
Animated roach bloopers roll over outtakes of horn honks and harmless roach pranks.
