Summary

In this affectionate parody of the classic Arthur episode "Arthur's Big Hit," young cockroach Joey Jr. and his mischievous cousin Lola find themselves in a sibling-style showdown. When Lola, ever the bratty trickster, pounds Joey Jr. with a toy hammer after he accidentally ruins her prized toy rocket, Joey Jr. retaliates—only to discover that a single smash can spiral into a series of hilarious and heartfelt consequences. As their feud escalates and the household is turned upside-down, the two learn about anger, forgiveness, and the power of a sincere apology.

ScreenplayACT I

INT. OGGY'S LIVING ROOM – AFTERNOON
The room is bright and cheerful. JOey Jr. is on the floor assembling a miniature cockroach-sized model rocket. Lola enters, clutching a shiny toy hammer.

LOLA
(smirking)
Whatcha doin', JoJo? Building a rocket?

JOEY JR.
Hey, Lola—yeah! It's going to go all the way to the ceiling!

LOLA
Pfft, rockets are lame. Hammers rule!
(She brings the hammer down—slow motion—on the rocket. Pieces scatter.)

JOEY JR.
(eyes wide, horrified)
Lola! My rocket!

LOLA
(taunting)
Oops. My bad. Maybe you should've hidden it better!

Joey Jr. clenches his fists, trembling with anger.

ACT II

INT. OGGY'S LIVING ROOM – MOMENTS LATER

Joey Jr. picks up a small toy mallet from the coffee table. He puffs out his chest.

JOEY JR.
You wanna play like that? Fine!

He SHLAMS the mallet once on the armrest—too lightly. Lola rolls her eyes.

LOLA
Come on, Joey, do better!

Joey Jr., more determined, swings again—harder this time. CRACK! The armrest splinters.

LOLA
(shocked)
You broke the couch!

Jack and Olivia's voices are heard off-camera.

JACK (O.S.)
What's all the racket in here?

Joey Jr. freezes, guilt creeping in.

ACT III

INT. OGGY'S LIVING ROOM – LATER

The couch is in tatters. Oggy and Jack stand over Joey Jr. and Lola, arms crossed.

OGGY
What happened here?

LOLA
(pointing at Joey Jr.)
He smashed our stuff!

JOEY JR.
(small voice)
She hit my rocket first… but I took it too far. I'm sorry, Lola.

Lola looks torn, then softens.

LOLA
Well… I shouldn't've smashed your rocket. I'm sorry, too.

They embrace in a tiny roach hug.

JACK
Lesson learned: two wrongs don't make a right.

OGGY
Now help me fix this couch before I bring out the bug spray!

Lola and Joey Jr. grin and nod, grabbing tools.

FADE OUT.

End.
