This was a story I had all the way back in 2023 but never got the time to really work on it, I want to start changing that to get the stories I had a couple years ago and published them here.
I hope you all enjoy this chapter and give me your feedback on it please as it would mean a lot.
Chapter 1
In the countryside there were barely any houses except for trees as far the eye can see, there were only few.
This place was home to Farmers or to people wanting to live a life away from the city.
There was only very few people here, it was both a peaceful and quiet place to get away from the big city life, the people who live here were either just on vacation or with family.
Despite the farms really this was only good for a certain times of year to be farming while the rest was just enjoying the life in the woods.
All the houses were log cabins,
A woman with dark brown hair, Light skin, Brown eyes, six feet tall, wearing A green t shirt and black pants.
She was walking to the mail box, her name is Colleen and she is 26 years old.
As she was getting the mail a moving truck came, a tall and handsome man who is 6 ft, tan skin, dark eyes and slick back dark hair, wearing a teal shirt, white shirt and shoes.
Colleen couldn't help but find something familiar about him, she decided to introduce herself to the new neighbor.
The man looked at her and then took a step back, "no way, it can't be you, Colleen?"
Collier why is one wide as now she realizes why she found him familiar, he was her ex-husband, "David Diaz? I can't believe it? You move here?"
David nodded, looking a bit uncomfortable seeing her again, "umm... yeah what are you doing here?"
Colleen was surprised as this man was her ex-husband, for what happened a few years back that led to their divorce, "I live right next door, I'm kind of surprised you wouldn't move here, I always thought the big city was your thing."
David looked around before looking back at Colleen, "well I always had a thing for the countryside I guess... I got to pack up some of these things into the new place of mine."
David went inside with some of the boxes as he looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here.
Colleen went back to our house and now she did she went to her back porch or she found her dad relaxing in a hot tub.
He was 44 years old, still looking like in his prime, dark curly hair, wearing sunglasses as he was looking up, "hey Colleen, got any mail?"
"No but we got some new neighbors and you won't believe who it is," Colleen said as that made her dad take off the sunglasses and show his brown eyes, "really? Who is it?"
"David, my ex-husband," Colleen said and made her dad face turn a bit red.
"The one who pushed you to cheat on him only to expose it to get a divorce?" He asked his daughter and of course she nodded.
Colleen could still remember that day, it was 4 years ago, they have been married for 2 years but over the time he became controlling acting like she was cheating on him, always accusing her of anything with another guy she was hanging out with and eventually she push her too far where she couldn't take anymore and went to find some comfort and had a little bit too much to drink but when she woke up she found her husband with the camera and had exposed her having an affair even though it was an drunk mistake but it didn't matter to him he believed there was always an affair and file for divorce, after that she came to move in with her dad and she explained the whole thing.
"Looked dad, I'm over it, he was always so self-confident, I remember back when we were both in high school he used to be so overweight and ugly but I was the only one that didn't judge and went out with him as we became adults he became a very handsome attracting guy and started to think I got bored with him," Colleen explain.
Her father put the sunglasses back on, "it still doesn't change the fact how he treated you, he should have known better, he pushed you to what you did, honestly there's no trust in the marriage to begin with then the marriage never even existed at all, hell I should not even be calling him neither should you ex-husband since he was really never a husband to begin with if he never even had faith in you."
Colleen nodded, "I know."
At David house
David put his hand on his stomach as he felt it rumble and he groan in pain, "not again! Not now!"
His stomach made these loud rumble sounds that form words, "grow expand explode!"
David fell on his knees as his veins grown bigger all crosses body as he was breathing heavily.
After a few minutes they went back down, "I'm not going to last much longer!"
David struggle to get up as he went to the bedroom to lay down as he could still feel the pain from his intestines.
Not knowing how long he had but knows it won't be long until he goes boom from what is inside of him wanting to make him grow ginormous and expand to his limits before critical mass and self-destruct.
"Why did I hate that stupid carrot!" David ask himself as he knew he was in so much trouble and hadn't made so many regrets especially what he did to his ex-wife.
"Maybe I should make things right before I go boom," David said to himself as he rested his head.
