Chapter 15: The Vampire of the Yellow Roses

A few blocks from Hikawa Temple
Lunar Knight just ran into a alley, shortly followed by Sailor Mercury and Mars
"Are you sure…that…we lost them?" Sailor Mars asked agitatedly, guarding the entrance.
"I think... that... yes" Sailor Mercury responded equally agitated, watching the opposite entrance.
"GOOD… let's detransform and… let's go back to the temple" Lunar Knight said
Mars and Mercury nodded following their leader's example.

In front of the Toshiba building
"Boss I think they fooled us" The police officer reported over the radio to Chief Toshio.
"I already noticed" Toshio said frustratedly as he looked at the huge building next to him, this was the fifth communication of the same type.
"Chief Wakagi, Superintendent Sakurada called and wants to see you in her office." Central reported making a shiver run down Toshio's spine.
"Tell him I'll be right away," Toshio responded with some fear in his voice.
"Yes sir" Central responded

Hikawa Temple, 8:40 PM
"YOU DON'T KNOW SAILOR V?!" Ami and Rei screamed in surprise in unison, so loudly a flock of birds parked on a nearby tree fled the scene.
"Ouch," Ranma said quietly as he tried to calm the ringing in his ears by rubbing them. When he finished, he asked, intrigued, "Why would I know her?"
"Why would you know her?! WHY WOULD YOU KNOW HER?" YOU WOULD KNOW?!" Rei asked a little loudly (in case you didn't notice the "something" was ironic) still somewhat shocked and then she started talking so quickly about the heroine in a sailor suit, so much so that it was impossible to know what she was saying.
A few seconds later, she stopped breathing when Ami handed her a glass of water so she could breathe and relax. Now she takes the floor "What Rei wants to say is that Sailor V is a well-known heroine throughout Japan and England, who is beginning to be recognized internationally, and We were surprised that you didn't know her. We thought that being the first and our leader, you would have at least an obvious connection with 'Sailor' in our names." "Well, you see… Sailor V attacked us tonight," Ranma replied.
"SHIT" Junpei expressed very vocally, leaving everyone silent, surprised by his reaction. Realizing this, he took a deep breath before continuing. "You see, the last time I contacted Sailor V and her advisor, she was about to dismantle the Dark Agency with Kaito Ace…"
"Kaito Ace wasn't that mysterious guy who helped Sailor V sometimes... Ah, I wish Ryouga was like that," Rei commented dreamily.
"Well, I wouldn't recommend it to you since together with V's advisor we had been speculating for a while about his true origin since none of us truly knew him and he always acted suspiciously when he thought that no one was watching, including that he belonged to the Dark Kingdom" Junpei explained about Ace "Well, both I and the advisor advised Sailor V to be careful with him, she told us that we didn't know anything about him and since then I couldn't communicate with her or her advisor again. That's been a while since month, and this was what I feared." His voice dropped a tone and his face darkened, then he declared. "Sailor V fell under the control of the Dark Kingdom."
After that revelation, silence dominated the room.
"Well it's just a guess, it might just be a misunderstanding" Junpei clarified as he returned the soul to everyone in the room "But still, don't let your guard down while she is present until we discover the truth about what is happening" he recommended.
After talking a little more about Sailor V and theorizing about what happened this afternoon, Ranma said goodbye to the girls and returned home. It was on his return trip that I was able to think a little about what happened that day leaning on the window of the bus that was taking him back to Azabu-Juuban. –A new enemy, Kuri, Sailor V... Are we condemned to fight forever? Ranma woke up in a better mood this morning, after all, he was able to sleep at a normal schedule today and on top of that no blurry nightmares spoiled his sleep in the middle of the night.
"Good morning, son," Nodoka greeted when she saw him get off, while at the same time she approached and surrounded her eldest son with her arms, resting her head on his shoulder while whispering in his ear "You didn't have that nightmare again, did you?" I ask worried
Ranma hugged his mother back, smiling with a touch of relief. "No, mom. I slept well this time," he answered quietly, trying to reassure her. "Looks like I finally got some rest."
Nodoka looked at him with a sweet smile, although her eyes reflected latent concern. "I'm glad to hear it," he said, stroking her hair before separating a little. "After breakfast, we'll continue training, okay?"
"It's okay, mom." With that, Ranma entered the kitchen and helped his mother finish breakfast while they talked a little about what had happened over the last few days and about this mysterious new enemy they were facing. That's when Nodoka interrupted.
"Who do you think this new enemy is?" I ask curious
"I don't know, but his methods seem to be much more lethal than Jadeite's." Ranma responded. "When I saved Kuri, I felt like almost all of her life energy had been drained from her. I'm afraid to think what would have happened if we hadn't gotten there in time." Ranma admitted grimly.
Nodoka lowered her gaze, lightly squeezing the ladle she was holding. "I don't want to imagine how terrifying that experience could have been for that girl," she murmured, worried.
While they were serving breakfast, they noticed that Luna was watching the news in the living room.
"In other news, police continue to investigate mysterious attacks by the yellow rose vampire. The reporter began to report and caught the attention of Mother and Son. "Despite the efforts of the authorities, incidents have increased in recent days, and there are already more than a dozen cases reported in different districts of the city. After having breakfast (Breakfast is very important) Ranma was running at full speed to get to the Hikawa Temple as soon as possible. He was going so fast that he didn't see the puddle of water that soaked him, turning him into Usagi. When he stopped for a moment to adjust his clothes, the cold of an intense gaze ran down his back.
"Auchi," Usagi said, falling with false clumsiness to one side to avoid the attack and not reveal any ability to her rival, but her blood ran cold, her eyes opened wide and her heartbeat a thousand miles per hour when she saw her attacker. "Hyaaa!" I scream scared
"Ranma!" Said the woman with purple hair, her seductive dress of Chinese silk, tight to her voluptuous figure that had crushed the ground where she had been moments ago with her mass in the shape of a Bonbori. Then he turned his head sinisterly towards Usagi. "Kill!" She continued angry and determined, in her broken but equally menacing Japanese.
–Sha-Shampoo?! How did you get to Japan? I thought I left her behind in China– Usagi thought, terrified by the presence of the Chinese Amazon. –Act clumsy, maybe he won't recognize you and you can escape– Think quickly as she backed away in terror towards a wall
"KILL!" Shampoo shouted again, attacking the current position of Usagi's head.
"Aaaah!" Usagi exclaimed, terrified by the blow that was coming, closing her eyes so she tripped over a stone behind her, falling on her butt but moving out of the way of the mass that hit the wall. "How scary! AAAAaaah!" I scream, running away from Shampoo.

Ami and Rei were sitting on the bus, they were sitting together, Rei by the window as they talked quietly about the current situation.
"We have to notify Ranma as soon as possible," said Ami as she reviewed the logs of the attacks on the police network recently hacked by Junpei. "I still can't believe there are so many cases, we will have to find the person responsible before there are more victims"
"And the worst thing is that we don't have any solid clue as to who is behind it," Rei responded, crossing her arms with a frown. "If only it will limit Minato as Jadeite," he lamented, looking out the window.
It was then that he saw a certain blonde girl running away very clumsily from another girl in China, I chased her with a couple of huge masses in his hands.

"A crazy woman chasing Usagi with two masses in shapes of bombori?" Ami asked rhetorically "Then yes" He responded, also getting up from his seat.
They both went to the nearest bell and prepared to get off at the nearest stop.

Usagi was running at full speed through the crowd, weaving between people with a mix of panic and clumsiness. Passersby looked at her curiously, wondering why the blonde girl seemed to be escaping death itself. Those who looked up saw Shampoo, who came running along the facades of the buildings, swinging his enormous circular clubs, high enough to not lose sight of his target, while shouting "Don't escape! Kill!"

Shampoo stopped, although from the beginning of the chase she had had her doubts, now they only grew, the person in front of her was identical in almost every way to Ranma but definitely not at all similar in personality, Ranma filled her with anger and determination to kill her, this girl only made her sad, when she decided that this girl was not Ranma and began to lower her mace, she felt a chill "Huh...?" he murmured when it hurt the back of the head and became unconscious.
"Are you OK?" A male voice asked, worried about her.
This made Usagi stop crying, but she didn't completely abandon the act because of what might happen. When she opened her eyes she saw the male figure extending his hand to help her get up. It was backlit by the sun still shining from between the buildings. When she saw this image she felt her cheeks warm up and her heart accelerate. "Why do I feel like this?" Usagi asked herself.
"Meatball Head?" The boy asked when he recognized her.
"Baka?" Usagi asked, recognizing the nickname. When her eyes adapted to the light, she began to distinguish characteristics of the boy in front of her. He was wearing white sports shoes with red details, dark blue straight-cut jeans, and a yellow shirt with rolled up sleeves with navy blue details. He had short black hair and sunglasses that covered his eyes. Then when she took his hand, strange sensations began to invade her body, but before she could investigate them, she saw how Shampoo stood up once again. "Careful!" warned
Hearing the warning, "Baka" turned quickly, ready to face the threat behind him, but before he could react… Shampoo was hugging him and kissing him on his lips. "Baka" was paralyzed by surprise, that Chinese girl who fainted a second ago was now kissing him passionately.
It was then that the air became thick and a cold fog began to envelop the alley.
"Persecuting an innocent young woman to end her life is a very serious crime," said a female voice, although serious, it had a calm tone. Everyone turned to see where the voice seemed to be coming from.
"Just like interrupting such a beautiful love scene, only to be a cat that breaks homes" Said another voice, this one denoting a little more anger at the events that had occurred.
"Maaars?!" The first voice complained about his companion
"What? Mercury I know you think the same as me and you can't deny it" The one now identified as Sailor Mars responded.
"Let's finish this and finish the speech, so we can leave." The discussion ended with the one now identified as Sailor Mercury, somewhat embarrassed. "And in the name of Mercury."
"Alright, party pooperSailor Mars replied, the last part whispering "And from Mars."
"We will punish you!" They both said finishing the speech and revealing their location at the end of the alley.
Both Usagi and "Baka" were blushing terribly at the speech of both Sailor Senshis.
For his part, Shampoo had already released the only boy in the alley, and had prepared to fight until he saw the two girls he was going to face and said "See again, Airen" in a tone of promise, giving "Baka" a kiss on the cheek before jumping on the walls of both buildings that limit the alley to disappear between the roofs.
The alley remained in a total uncomfortable silence, that was not the result anyone expected.
"Wait, Airen? That didn't mean husband in Chinese?" Ami asked, breaking the silence.
Upon hearing Airen's meaning, "Baka"'s face turned pale almost instantly, then he ran after Shampoo. "No, wait, let's get this straight!" He shouted as he ran hoping the girl would hear him, disappearing into the crowd.

Hikawa Temple, Shortly after.
The group was gathered in the usual room of the temple, they were here to talk about a very important topic of complete and utter urgency.
"Okay," said Rei, who was lying on the table, with an amused smile on her face as she looked at Ranma, who was sitting in front clearly trying to avoid eye contact. "Speak up, Meathead! Who was the beau? And when were you going to introduce him to us?" He asked with a clear mocking tone.
The question caught Ranma by surprise and he almost choked on his own saliva although it also made him blush a little.
"Also, who was that Chinese girl that was chasing you?" Ami asked, but in her case more out of curiosity than mockery. "Although I also want to know about that boy," Ami admitted.
"Eeh Well," Ranma began to respond, somewhat embarrassed. "Her name is Shampoo... and it's... complicated."

Shortly after Genma took me to Jusenkyo and I was cursed to become a girl, the guide accompanied us to the nearby village, the Amazon village.

Ranma explained.
Rei y Ami paled a little when hearing the extreme implications of the kiss

"Ahem, I'm sorry to interrupt the gossip, but…" Junpei interrupted. "There is an enemy on the loose that is stealing life energy all over Tokyo and we have to catch it." He remembered the reason for the meeting.
"That's true Junpei, knowing more about our enemy is vital," said Luna, who had just entered the room. "By the way, Ranma, weren't you planning to take me with you to this very important meeting? If it weren't for your mother who brought me here, you were going to leave me outside." Mau questioned, disguised as a 10-year-old girl. "Thank you again, Mrs. Tsukino." She thanked the woman behind her.
"It was nothing, Luna," Nodoka responded. "Although I like to talk about what happened that day while we cook, this time I want to be present too, because of the serious nature of the topic." She added, trying to be included.
The interruption helped Ranma come back to his senses completely. "Ah... I'm sorry, Luna. In the rush I forgot." He apologized to Luna for forgetting her. "Of course, Ma, but the final decision is not mine. What do you say, girls?"
"There is no problem on my part," Ami said, approving that the inclusion of Ranma's mother
"Not mine either…" Rei "Meatball Head" approved. He added, sketching a sly smile.
Ranma snorted, clearly annoyed. "You're not going to let me forget it, right?" He whispered while massaging his forehead *Ah* "Very well if everyone agrees Welcome Mom" Ranma concluded
"Very good, now with everyone gathered we can start the meeting" Luna said starting the meeting "Junpei, Ami, what have you managed to investigate so far?" I ask the IT duo
"Thank you, Luna," Ami thanked. "After finding out about the investigation, we knew that the police would have more information than us, so we decided to review their records," Ami explained.
"So, I hacked the police database, there I found and copied the most relevant information." Junpei continued explaining while making holograms appear with projections of the reports.
"Apparently our mysterious enemy only targets young women, the youngest victim so far is 14 years old and the oldest is 25." Ami informs
"It seems to be able to change its shape at will since none of the witness descriptions seem to match in terms of physicality." Junpei continued.
"Instead, it seems that he always gives yellow roses to his victims. Although the most terrifying fact is the first recorded case was from 2 years ago on the Island of Hokkaidō" Ami concluded.
Hearing the last part, everyone except Junpei and Ami turned pale. "T...Two...years?" They repeated, terrified by the implications behind that information.
Rei had heard the two of them investigating a bit but she never imagined how deep the rabbit hole they were going into, then she remembered a detail from the night before. "And as if that wasn't bad enough…" Rei muttered, frowning. "From what I saw yesterday, he seems to be able to project his form and fight without needing to be present." theorized
"In other words… it can be everywhere and nowhere at the same time." Junpei added, in a serious tone, then a dead silence consumed the room.

The darkness was total and enveloped the entire room, no light could enter or leave it.

Then, obeying the command of its master, the eternal darkness was illuminated by multiple flashes that imitated the shapes of the stars and began to rotate and change directions until they stopped in a specific grouping.
"Leo, Figure of strength and determination burning like fire" Said the voice recognizing the constellation "But tell me stars, who is Leo's chosen one?" I ask once again the false night about the
Then the flashes moved again this time to join in a single point illuminated the room with the image of a girl with purple hair tied in two monkeys on her head, dressed in Chinese clothing, who seemed to be going somewhere.
"What a sweetheart" He expressed his voice with lust "It's a shame that that beauty is wasted on a human" He commented disappointedly, clicking his tongue as he left.
The stars blinked one last time before being swallowed by nothingness, returning the room to its eternal gloom.
