Chapter 47: Robot Riot

In Zephyr Heights, the ponies roaming the streets were watching a livestream by Zipp Storm about certain activities that had happened during the last few nights.

"Hey, ponies," Zipp said from the big screen. "This is another update to my latest Zippline. All the late night attacks that keep happening and none of us know why."

In the Crystal Tea Room in Bridlewood, everypony who was there, including Alphabittle, Queen Haven, Onyx and Dapple, were watching Zipp's livestream from the TV that was there.

"I know a lot of you are scared, but don't worry," Zipp said. "We're all on it." She then showed the rest of the Mane 8 on the screen. "If anypony has seen something strange or another sign of vandalism, let us know immediately."

Back in Maretime Bay, in the Crystal Brighthouse, Zipp had just ended the livestream and put her phone in her pouch.

"Okay, so these strange attacks keep happening at night," Twilight said. "Has there anypony ever seen the attacks happening?"

"Well, there were witnesses," Sunset said. "But, apparently, they all were in a coma. And they were badly hurt."

"Yeah, especially Sprout," Hitch said. "He got hurt badly due to whatever did it."

"Have the doctors say what hurt the ponies were covered in scratch marks," Misty said.

"Scratch marks?" Sunset asked. "You think Allura is behind this?"

"No," Sunny said. "Allura usually goes all out with her ice and mental abilities. She would never attack with her claws."

"Then maybe we should make sure of it," Zipp said. "Let's go."

Sunset, Sunny, Zipp and Twilight went over to Allura's ice cave to see if she was there.

"Hello?!" Sunny asked. "Allura!" There was no response. "Please. We just want to talk about the attacks happening around Equestria. The ones that happened these past few nights."

That made a shadowy figure come towards the entrance. Allura looked angrily at the four ponies that came to her cave.

"You think I would even lift a claw to hurt ponies like that?" Allura asked. She was then using her mental powers to take over the minds of the four ponies, but Twilight used her magic to teleport themselves away. But they teleported back. "Being cautious. You learn well."

"So, it wasn't you attacking the ponies?" Zipp asked.

"No," Allura said. "I've been here all night, trying to come up with a way to get out of this stinkin' place! That your unicorn friend first ruined!"

Twilight then walked up to Allura, saying, "Maybe it's time you actually stop plotting revenge on us and actually tell us why you're doing what you're doing."

"Like I'd ever tell you," Allura said. "After all…" She then got angry at Zipp. "I'm an evil snow leopard that cannot be trusted."

"Hey, I was just being cautious because I didn't have the full story!" Zipp said. "You might not be the one attacking the ponies of Equestria, but do you know who is?"

"No," Allura said. "But perhaps you should go back to the scene of each attack. Think like real detectives." She then walked back into her cave.

Sunset, Sunny, Zipp and Twilight looked at each other. Sunset then said, "Perhaps she's right. We should also start seeing the crime scenes."

"Right," Zipp said. "First stop, Bridlewood."

Inside the cave, Allura walked towards where her compatriot, King Sombra, and her little bunny, Twitch, were in the back, listening in on Allura's conversation with the heroes.

"Attacking ponies behind my back, huh?" King Sombra asked, smugly. "I thought that was my job." He then chuckled evilly.

"That really wasn't me," Allura said. She then thought of something. "But perhaps, whoever is responsible for these attacks can be a great ally for us. Let us see who's responsible for these attacks."

Twitch laughed evilly and rubbed his paws together. King Sombra smirked and said, "And perhaps, I can finally meet Sunny Starscout… face to face. See how much progress she has made."

"We'll see," Allura said. Then they all headed towards the entrance of the cave.

In the Marestream, the Mane 8 and Sparky were all in there as the Marestream was flying towards Bridlewood. Zipp was piloting the Marestream since it was her turn.

"The first attacks across Equestria started in Bridlewood, so we'll start there," Zipp said. "Hopefully, there are some clues there that can be useful for us."

"Hopefully, none of the unicorns there are hurt too badly," Izzy said.

"Only one way to find out," Pipp said.

"Alright, ponies," Zipp said. "We're coming in for a landing." Then the Marestream started coming down and landed in front of a certain area of Bridlewood.

"Alright," Izzy said, coming out of the door. "Let's…" She then went wide eyed at what she saw.

"Izzy, what's wrong?" Sunny asked. She then saw what Izzy was seeing and gasped. The others came out of the Marestream and saw what Sunny and Izzy saw, all shocked at what they saw.

In front of them, they saw La Villa Izzy, very damaged by something. There were claw marks all over the tree, the door was broken in, the windows were all broken, and all of Izzy's old arts and crafts were spread out and destroyed.

"Oh, Izzy," Misty said. "I am so…" She then looked at Izzy, who had her head down. "Uh… Izzy?"

"They will pay…" Izzy said. The others stepped away from Izzy after what she said. Izzy then slowly looked towards La Villa Izzy, her eyes shadowed over by her mane. "Nopony… I repeat, nopony…" She then jumped up and shouted, "DESTROY'S LA VILLA IZZY!"

"Whoa!" Zipp said.

"Okay, this is not a good time for livestreaming," Pipp said. "Even for Zipp's Zippline."

"Yeah," Zipp said. "Izzy needs support." She then got an idea. "Wait a minute. Izzy, you made every single craft inside of this place. Can you see some parts that are not from your projects?"

Izzy then went wide-eyed at that, and then gave a smug look, saying, "Whoever is behind this, you're gonna pay." Then they all went into La Villa Izzy to check the damage. Unbeknownst to them, a pair of red eyes were watching from a bush.

Inside La Villa Izzy, the Mane 8 and Sparky were checking everything that was broken to see if there was any evidence left behind by whatever attacked the place. Sunny picked up a bottle from Izzy's musical device that plays the standard My Little Pony theme song.

"So much destruction," Sunny said. "I'm so sorry this happened to you, Izzy."

"Nopony should ever go through this," Sunset said. "Everything you loved was destroyed. You shouldn't be going through this pain."

Izzy was still furious about what happened to La Villa Izzy. She then said, "I won't let whoever did this get away with it."

"Looks like we got nothing," Zipp said. "Sorry, Iz." Just then, the sound of a dog barking came in. They looked towards the door and they saw Cloudpuff there, barking. "Cloudpuff? What are you doing here?"

Cloudpuff barked in response. Hitch was standing next to him, understanding exactly what the winged pomeranian was saying. Hitch then said, "He says that apparently, there was some vandalism just done in the Crystal Tea Room."

Misty gasped and shouted, "Dad!" She then ran out of La Villa Izzy and ran towards the Crystal Tea Room. The rest of the Mane 8, Sparky and Cloudpuff followed her.

Misty ran into the Crystal Tea Room, seeing that everything was broken and turned over. She then looked around.

"Dad! Dad, where are you?!" Misty cried out.

"Misty!" Came Alphabittle's voice. Misty turned and saw Alphabittle and Queen Haven coming out of the back room. Misty then ran up to Alphabittle and the two nuzzled each other. "I'm alright, Misty. I'm glad you are, too."

Then the rest of the Mane 8, Sparky and Cloudpuff came in and they all gasped at the damage. Zipp then said, "What happened here?"

"We don't know," Queen Haven said. "Alphie and I were having some… private conversations, then we heard a noise coming from here. And when we got out here, there was nopony left."

Pipp looked around and saw some claw marks on the tables. Pipp then gasped and said, "Zipp! More claw marks!"

Zipp ran over to Pipp and inspected the claw marks. She then put on her Z-Goggles and inspected the claw marks. She then said, "The same claw marks. I'm gonna assume it was the same things that attacked the rest of Equestria."

"And who destroyed all my crafts," Izzy said, darkly.

"Whoa," Alphabittle said. "I've never seen Izzy this upset."

"She really loves crafting stuff," Twilight said. "If only we knew who would do all this vandalism."

"Clearly, it's something fast and destructive," Sunset said.

Alphabittle then started thinking of an event that he witnessed. He then said, "Maybe it was that gray guy who came in here a while ago."

The Mane 8 looked towards Alphabittle and Sunset asked, "Gray guy?"

"Some time ago, a gray creature came falling out of the sky," Alphabittle said, walking over to the counter. "And then a bunch of other creatures in uniforms came out of various portals, trying to take him down." He then opened up a safe. "I would tell somepony, but I would sound like a crazy old stallion." He then pulled out a photo of something he saw. In the picture, there was a Mobian Gray Fox, battling some armored creatures.

Sunset went wide eyed and gasped. She then said, "That's… that's Michael Crayton!"

"Who?" Misty asked.

"He's a very powerful Mobian," Sunset said. "He's able to manipulate matter and cut anything down to size."

"Well, maybe it was him that did all of this," Pipp said.

"No, it couldn't be him," Sunset said. "He only takes down bad guys by disarming them, or knocking them out. He doesn't hurt his opponents too badly." She then motioned a hoof towards the vandalism. "Plus, if it was him, the tables would've been cut all the way through."

"Are you sure about that?" Izzy asked.

"He sliced missiles aimed right towards his airship and he got clear of the explosions," Sunset said. "Future Sonic has been studying him to find any flaws in him."

"Whoa," Sunny said. "He's that powerful?"

"Yeah," Sunset said. "After FS's passing, the Twilight in charge offered him a position. But he turned it down."

"Why?" Pipp asked. "Surely, his skills and powers would be a major help in the Secret Society."

"FS dubbed him the second biggest anomaly in the whole multiverse, and MC's mom is a Watcher of the Multiverse," Sunset said.

"MC?" Twilight asked. She then realized something. "Oh, his initials."

"Yeah," Sunset said. "Although, when people hear his nickname first, they usually assume that he's a disc jockey."

"I'd believe that," Zipp said.

Outside of the Crystal Tea Room, Allura and King Sombra were listening in on the conversation the Mane 8 were talking about.

"A multiverse, huh?" Allura asked. "Perhaps this… Secret Society can be rather… useful."

"Perhaps… we can persuade one of them," King Sombra said. "Like I'm slowly persuading Sunny to become a part of the darkness."

In the bushes, those same red eyes were watching them. The eyes gave a glare towards the two villains. But then, a hexagonal portal opened up to the left of the Crystal Tea Room.

"It can't be…" the voice of the owner of the red eyes said. The voice was male. Then a bunch of robot hedgehogs came through. "Oh, that's not good."

Inside, the Mane 8, Alphabittle and Queen Haven were cleaning up the Crystal Tea Room. Just as all the tables were set back up, the sound of screaming came from outside.

"The vandals!" Zipp said. Then the Mane 8 ran outside, leaving Alphabittle and Queen Haven inside. When they got outside, they all gasped at what they saw.

"Metal Sonics?!" Sunset asked. "Oh, no. Not again!"

The Metal Sonics were attacking the ponies of Bridlewood. There was one chasing Violette into her garden. As it came after her, the Metal Sonic destroyed her garden.

"My garden!" Violette whined. Then she saw the Metal Sonic coming right towards her. She then screamed. Then Twilight came in with a teleportation spell, grabbed Violette and teleported out of there.

Twilight brought Violette to the rest of the Mane 8 and asked, "Are you okay?"

"Physically, yes," Violette said. "Emotionally, not so much."

"At least now we know what's the cause of the vandalism," Sunset said. "It must be the Eggman that sent those robot versions of us to attack me, Twilight and Sunny."

"We have to get everypony out of here!" Zipp said. "Let's show them who we are!" Then the Mane 8's Cutie Marks started glowing. "Bravery!"

"Confidence!" Pipp said.

"Heart!" Misty said.

"Creativity!" Izzy said.

"Kindness!" Hitch said.

"Magic!" Twilight said.

"Empathy!" Sunset said.

"And Hope… as bright as the Sun!" Sunny said, transforming into an Alicorn.

Universe 160521:

Unknown Location…

In an unknown location in another Universe, two men were watching a computer screen. One man was wearing a long red coat with white straps connected to gold clips, black pants, white gloves with metal finger tips at the thumb, forefinger and pinky finger, and black boots with silver zippers. He also had no hair on his head, a long brown mustache, and goggles on top of his head. The other man had short black hair, a goatee, and he was wearing a dark gray blazer and pants, with a black button up shirt and tie.

"Doctor… don't you think this is overkill?" the man in the tuxedo asked.

"Oh, Stone," the man in the red suit said. "I'm only getting more and more data from those counterparts. Those pesky Freedom Fighters… have broken into my Death Egg, and released my most hated enemy. I need more data on them before I can officially take down those no good Freedom Fighters for good."

"But, Doctor," Stone said. "I really don't think…"

"And you never do," the doctor said. "You know what's hard about being the smartest person in the world?"

"Everyone else is…" Agent Stone said before being interrupted.

"Stupid, yes," the doctor said. "No one… makes a fool… of Doctor Julien Robotnik. Doctor Eggman!" He then cackled. He then typed on the cyber keyboard and commanded all the Metal Sonics to attack the Mane 8.

Universe 010921:

Bridlewood…

The Metal Sonics started charging at the Mane 8. Twilight then used her magic to put up a force field around them, trying to keep them out. Sunny and Hitch used their Earth Pony Magic to grow vines from outside the barrier and tie up the Metal Sonics. But they used their claws to cut themselves out of them.

"Okay, that's not good," Hitch said.

Misty was looking in her spell book to see if there was a spell to get rid of the robots. Sunset was looking over Misty's shoulder. Misty was nervously saying, "C'mon, there's gotta be a way to get rid of these guys."

The Metal Sonics all charged at the heroes at once. They were trying to crush the barrier, and it was putting a lot of pressure on Twilight's horn.

"Gah!" Twilight cried in pain. "It's… too much."

"I got your back, Twilight," Sunset said, using her magic to keep the shield up.

From behind a tree, Allura and King Sombra were watching the Mane 8 struggling against the Metal Sonic Army.

"Looks like we have some worthy creatures to help us with our purpose," King Sombra said. "I shall take over their minds and…"

"I don't think they'll be persuaded by us," Allura said. "They're machines."

"Machines, huh?" King Sombra said. "We'll see about that." Just then, a couple of Metal Sonics came across the two of them. King Sombra's eyes then started glowing green. He was trying to take over the minds of the two Metal Sonics, but they were unaffected. "What?" Then the Metal Sonic on the left clawed King Sombra's chest, making him cry out in pain. Then the other Metal Sonic punched King Sombra away.

Allura was shocked by that. She then looked at the two robots angrily. She then used her ice powers on the two Metal Sonics, freezing them completely. Allura then exhaled in relief.

"That was close," Allura said. Just then, the two Metal Sonics broke out and tried attacking Allura. Allura jumped up and started flying away from there, trying to get back to Sombra. "Those things are more dangerous than I thought." She looked ahead and was shocked. A Metal Sonic came out from in front of her and attacked Allura, sending her down to the ground, landing in the Spog. Allura brought her head out of the Spog with a deadpanned expression. "Those things are more troublesome than those ponies."

King Sombra then recovered and went back to where the Mane 8 were, and remained out of sight from all of them. Sunset and Twilight were still trying to get the Metal Sonic Army from attacking them.

"Looks like this… is something that Sunny could handle," Sombra said. "With some of my… persuasion." His eyes then started glowing.

Sunny then tried using her Earth Pony Magic again. But the Metal Sonics kept getting past the vines.

"It's no use, everypony," Sunny said. "We can't win against them!"

"Then we gotta get out of here!" Zipp said. Twilight then used her teleportation spell to teleport them all out of there.

They eventually went back to the path that leads to La Villa Izzy and they started running towards it. Sunset then said, "We gotta get out of here! We can't keep this up!"

"We need help," Pipp said. "Somepony who is able to take all of these things down!"

"It's a good thing we left Sparky with Grandma Figgy," Hitch said. "This battle is no place for a baby dragon."

"Dragon?!" Zipp asked. "Wait a minute, that's it!" Then everypony made it into the Marestream. Zipp then headed for the driver's seat and said, "Hang onto your Cutie Marks, everypony. We're going back to the Isle of Scaly!" The Marestream then took off and headed on South East towards the Dragon Lands with the Metal Sonics following.

Allura and King Sombra saw them heading out of Bridlewood. Then they took off to the air.

Eventually, the Marestream had reached the Isle of Scaly. The Metal Sonics were trying to knock the Marestream out of the sky.

"These things won't leave us alone!" Misty said.

"I'll call for…" Pipp said, pulling out her phone. But then she saw that her phone had no cell service. "Oh. Right. No cell service."

"Hang on, everypony!" Zipp said. "We're going down!" Then Zipp piloted the Marestream down to the ground. Zipp then tried pulling up, but the Metal Sonics came in and pushed the Marestream down to make it crash into the ground. "Oh, no!"

"We're gonna crash!" Izzy shouted.

Then Blaize and Lava came up and swiped the Metal Sonics with their tails. Then they used their claws to hit some remaining Metal Sonics. Then they caught the Marestream and lowered it to the ground safely.

"We gotcha, ponies!" Blaize said. The Marestream was then put down on the ground. Then the Mane 8 ran out of the Marestream. "What are those things?"

"Robots," Sunset said. "Most likely from another universe. A scientist who goes by Eggman sent them here to attack us!"

"We got your back then," Lava said. Then a bunch of Metal Sonics came out of a hexagonal portal and charged at the Mane 6 and the two dragons.

"There's so many of them!" Twilight said, blasting some robots with her magic. Sunny used her alicorn magic to keep holding the Metal Sonics. But then, Spike came in and smashed some of the Metal Sonics. "Spike!"

"Hey, Twi," Spike said. "Thought you could use some help."

"At least we didn't crash land," Sunset said before firing another blast. "I really should've brought my Universal Watch I got from the Secret Society."

"That would've been a good idea," Zipp said. "I would've done it, too."

"I feel like these things are after us personally!" Pipp said. Pipp was flying around evading the Metal Sonics. They tried charging at her. Pipp then flew straight down with the Metal Sonics following. Then Blaize came in and swung her tail against the Metal Sonics, making them get knocked away. They then recovered.

"These things are tough!" Blaize said. "How many of these things are there?!"

"Way too many!" Zipp said. "They just keep coming!"

In the bushes, Allura and King Sombra were watching the battle. King Sombra was smirking. He then said, "I think it's time for my… persuasion."

Sunny was using her Alicorn Magic to keep her friends safe. But then, she heard a voice.

"Seems like you're in trouble," the voice who spoke to Sunny in one of the previous specials said.

"Huh?" Sunny asked.

"You really want to save your friends?" the voice asked. "You know what you have to do. Use the magic you've been practicing without letting your friends know."

"What?" Sunny asked. "I… I don't think that Twilight or Sunset will like that."

"Is she handling things herself with no problem?" The voice asked.

Sunny looked towards Twilight, seeing that she and Sunset were having trouble with trying to stop the Metal Sonics. Sunny got nervous and said, "Oh no."

"You know what you have to do," the voice said.

Sunny got nervous. She then started to get angry. Then her horn started glowing purple and green. Twilight and Sunset then saw Sunny when she was starting to use Dark Magic.

"Wait, is that…?" Twilight asked.

"Oh, no…" Sunset said. She then saw a Metal Sonic coming in to attack Sunny. "Sunny! Behind you!"

(All Hail Shadow instrumental)

Sunny lost her focus and saw a Metal Sonic coming in to attack her. Sunny got scared and tried to step back away from it, screaming. But then something unexpected came in.

"Chaos Control!"

All the Metal Sonics just froze in place and then a black hedgehog came teleporting in, and kicked all of the Metal Sonics around them. He also hit some with a spin dash attack. This was Shadow the Hedgehog originally from Universe 160521, and a member of the Secret Society. He had kicked all the Metal Sonics to the same spot in the air.

Shadow then waved his right arm around, shouting, "Chaos Spear!" Then a bunch of energy spears came out from above him and they started going after the Metal Sonics. When they made contact, the Metal Sonics exploded.

"Shadow?!" Sunset asked.

"The black hedgehog that roller skates?" Zipp asked.

Shadow looked towards Zipp and said, "They're Air Shoes."

Universe 160521:

Eggman's Base…

Doctor Eggman and Agent Stone were looking at the screen that was showing the process of the attack on the Mane 8 in Universe 010921. Eggman and Stone were shocked to see what had just happened.

"Doctor, was that…?" Agent Stone asked.

"It's impossible," Eggman said. "A Shadow… in that Universe? There's not supposed to be a Shadow the Hedgehog in that Universe! I made sure of it!"

"Does… that mean we have to abort the plan?" Agent Stone asked.

"No," Eggman said. "We still need more data on the other Universes for us to use against those pesky Freedom Fighters. Even Infinite needs this kind of information if he's going to stop Sonic."

"But Doctor, I think we should…" Agent Stone said before being interrupted.

"I don't pay you to think, Stone!" Eggman said. "Now, go get me a latte with steamed Austrian Goat Milk. I LOVE THE WAY YOU MAKE THEM!" He then pushed Agent Stone towards the door.

Agent Stone looked back towards Doctor Eggman in shock. He then went out the door to do what he was told.

Universe 010921:

Dragon Lands…

Shadow was talking with the Mane 8, Spike, Blaize and Lava. All of them were surrounding Shadow after what happened to them.

"Shadow, why are you here?" Sunset asked. "Were you sent here by the Secret Society?"

"We've been looking all over for the source of those robots invading other Universes," Shadow said. "We didn't know which Universe they were coming from. Thanks for giving us the heads up, by the way."

Twilight then walked up to Shadow and said, "At least you came in just in time. I was almost worried we were going to die."

"That would've cause the disruption of this Universe," Shadow said. "That was something that Future Sonic was right about. But he was wrong about certain events being changed. It was that one Sonic that proved him wrong."

"At least you learned that," Sunset said. "Hopefully, when MC hears about this, he'd be happy to learn from you. And he was on FS's list of anomalies."

"MC was considered an anomaly by FS?!" Shadow asked. He then got angry. "Oh, so that's why he sent me off on certain missions that one time. He didn't want me to find out about MC!"

"He didn't tell you?!" Sunset asked. "Why didn't he tell you?!"

"Because of Maria, probably," Shadow said. "In my Universe, Maria was still alive, as a hedgehog, and MC was there when she was brought down to Earth from the ARK."

"Earth?" Twilight asked. "I thought your world was called Mobius."

"Only in certain Universes," Shadow said. "Anyway, as I was saying, we were still checking each Universe of where the robots were coming from." He then sighed. "But we came up with absolutely nothing. So… I decided to go home." He then got angry. "But that's when I found out."

Universal Wasteland…

Hours Ago…

Shadow was heading back to his Universe for some personal time while Shadow was explaining why he was in Sunset's Universe.

"As I was on my way home, I saw a bunch of Metal Sonics coming from my Universe, heading out to every Universe."

Shadow saw thousands of Metal Sonics heading out towards each universe, all coming from his own Universe, Universe 160521.

"I was not expecting my Universe to be sending out thousands of Metal Sonics. I had to report it to the Secret Society."

Shadow then held his left arm, which had the Universal Watch on it, up to his face and started speaking into it.

Universe 010921:

Dragon Lands…

Shadow continued explaining what he went through.

"When I reported it, the Secret Society gave me an instant report back," Shadow said. "And they said that somehow, Eggman had gotten his hands on one of the Universal Watches and is using it to send robots all over the Multiverse. We're still trying to figure out the reason why."

"Yike," Sunny said. "So, you still have no idea why?"

"No," Shadow said. Then his Universal Watch started beeping. Shadow raised his left arm to look at it. Then he used his right hand to push a button, and a holographic image of Twilight who was now in charge of the Secret Society came in. "What is it, Twilight?"

"We have found the reason why the Doctor Eggman of your universe is sending robots across the Multiverse," the Twilight from the Secret Society said. "It seems that Eggman is trying to collect data on every variant of the Freedom Fighters from across the Multiverse."

"Collecting data?" Sunset asked. "Why?" Then an image of Sonic came in. It was the Sonic that FS dubbed as the original anomaly.

"It would seem that this Eggman is trying to use the data and program them into the Virtual Reality doppelgängers," Sonic said. "My Eggman did the same thing."

Then the other Twilight said, "That means you have to get back to your Universe to help the Freedom Fighters of your Universe and stop Eggman."

"I'll be there soon," Shadow said as he ended the transmission. "Well, I believe my work here is done."

"We appreciate the backup, Shadow." Sunset said to her. "If things would've gone bad, Sunny would've…"

"Yeah. I saw what was about to happen." Shadow cut her off as he stepped forward and whispered in her ears. "You need to make sure that pony stays the way she is or else that trick is gonna drag her down."

"Trust me. We know." Sunset muttered as Twilight nodded. "We're still keeping an eye on that."

"Good." Shadow nodded as he then went to his watch and opened up a portal behind him as he walked towards it before giving one last look at the ponies and dragons. "And always watch your back. There are things in the shadows that are easily hard to spot." He advised as he entered through the portal as it closed.

The rest of the group looked at each other in confusion. "Uh, what does he mean by that?" Hitch asked while scratching his head in confusion.

"Shadow talks seriously, but he always gives warnings." Sunset stated. "But what he meant, I can never tell with that hedgehog."

"I'm sure he was making a quip. I mean, he is Shadow, it's his name, right?" Izzy waved off with a cheerful smile.

"Well, in any case. I'm glad that the crazy Metal Sonics attack is now over." Zipp said in relief.

"Yeah, but I am going to need an extra Mane Melody treatment after this." Pipp said with a frown while fixing her mane a bit.

"How about a little Dragon Digital Detox?" Spike suggested with a smile. "It helps calm nerves after a long fight."

"That sounds like a great idea, Spike." Twilight said with a smile as the others chattered in agreement as they followed the dragons to have a relaxing time after a tough fight they had.

From the bushes, Allura and King Sombra were watching this. Sombra was getting angry and said, "Shoot. We're too late." He then turned around and said, "Let's get out of here." He then turned into smoke and started heading out of there. Allura grew concerned and then she followed him in the air.

After having their digital detox with their dragon friends, the Mane 8 returned to the Brighthouse as the sun set as they entered their home. "Man, what another crazy day." Hitch said to them.

"Sunset, why is it when a multiversal ambush happens, we somehow get caught in it?" Pipp asked with a brow.

"Hey, don't blame me. Ever since the whole Dimensional Crisis with an alternate Opaline, some others found a way to cross to other dimensions even without the watch." Sunset said in defense. "That crisis was big enough for all worlds, even ours, to see. They just keep trying to do their own crises and invasions these days. The Society is trying to get things under control, but these rogue dimension travelers are crawling like roaches."

"So the Society is like working janitors?" Izzy asked in wonder.

"Not like that, Izzy." Sunset said with a dull look.

"But still, we stop those, Metal Sonics as you call them, and our home is saved, again." Sunny said with a smile.

"But aren't we still wondering what Shadow meant to watch our backs of somethings in the shadows?" Misty asked with a worried look.

"Yeah. Why did Shadow say something like that?" Twilight asked. "Sunset?"

"Uh, Shadow is known to take things seriously and sometimes can be cryptic, but not always." Sunset said to them. "Shadow usually just tells us the warning directly, but I guess he knew he couldn't."

"Why not?" Hitch asked with a brow.

"Cannon Event, Hitch, remember?" Sunset asked with a brow. "We can change our own destinies, but others that are not part of this world can't."

"Oh, right." Hitch realizes.

"I guess the only way to warn us is to be cryptic about it." Sunset said with a shrug. "But above all, I'm not sure what he meant."

"Well, whatever it is, I have a feeling that it might come to us sooner than we thought." Twilight said as they all gave worried looks about Shadow's warning after their fight with the Metal Sonics.

Back at the ice cave, Allura, Sombra, and Twitch returned sometime after their trip to the Dragonlands as they rest up after spying and barely avoiding the Metal Sonics while Sombra gave a disappointed groan from this as he was eyeing the corning while Allura and Twitch only watched.

"Are you doing fine, Sombra?" Allura asked.

"Just a little disappointed from certain events today." Sombra said with a frown. "I was hoping to get close enough to Sunny to influence her, or at the very least to gain control of those, as you call them, machines, but it was too little too late for that, and at the worst possible time for some creature to save them." He said.

"Well, not everything can turn out as planned. Trust me." Allura said while Twitch babbled in agreement.

"Grr! We were just lucky that we were discovered, but at least our plan to manipulate this Sunny Starscout is still going." Sombra said with a frown. "At least."

"But still, the multiverse, I've heard of other worlds when searching for the Nova Charm, but I still can't believe there was way more than I think." Allura said to him.

"As amazing as it sounds, we do not have the means to travel to it, even my magic alone can't sustain such travel." Sombra said to her with a frown. "And we only know this Sunset Shimmer can, yet we do not know how she does it."

"You make a good point. I'm sure we'll find out more about how she and those Secret Society club does it." Allura assured him.

"But for now, we must focus on our main priorities, such as researching more and searching for these Nova Charms and plaguing Sunny's heart." Sombra said to her. "And we best prepare ourselves if any more of these multiversal madness come again."

"Agreed. Even I don't want to go through that again." Allura said while Twitch nodded in agreement. "These ponies have a strange and crazy life."

"More than you would think." Sombra muttered. "Let us move on with our original plan, shall way."

"Sure thing." Allura said before she noticed the Spog mud she still has on her. "Ugh, why would those Unicorns live in such a filthy environment?" She questioned as she then removed the spog off her mane and fur, which made Sombra and Twitch look at her in surprise. "What?" She asked with a brow.

"Is this a new magic or so, because your mane is glowing." Sombra said in surprise.

"What?" Allura asked before Twitch rushed up and held up a mirror, which showed her sparkling mane and tail as she looked surprised by this as she gave a smirk. "Huh, not bad." She said as Sombra eyed her while inspecting her. "Finding me attractive, Sombra?" She asked with a smirk towards him.

Sombra looked at her for a bit before shaking his head. "Uh, let us continue our plans, shall we?" He asked as he walked off while in thought, leaving Twitch and Allura alone as Allura kept her smirk.

"Who knew that mud can make a pony find attractive to me." Allura said with a smirk as Twitch teased her while making kissing sounds. "Don't you go there, Twitch." She said with a look as Twitch chuckled as Allura rolled her eyes playfully at another teased.
