we don't own Remember me from Coco
Life was always interesting or boring depending on how you live it day to day, but it sometimes is more interesting when you are a descendant of the famous band of Chipmunks.
Calvin, Simmon, and Opal happened to be those, but the only difference was that they didn't form a band or become famous, they were just typical cousins who were raised together and often acted like siblings.
Calvin was the oldest of the three, a boy who loved woodwork and singing, he was always recognizable by his Ruby-colored hoodia and Navy Blue highlights in his fur.
Simmon came in second her unusual strength made her somewhat feared and admired by her peers as she became a bodybuilder as a hobby, but she still loved watching Bluey and My Little Pony, she even wore a twilight-themed hoodie with headphones hanging around her neck, a small purple gem piercing in her ear.
Opal was mostly known for wearing crazy fashion-type clothes that left everyone guessing if they were a girl or a boy much their amusement, they love music and sometimes begged Calvin to make them custom-made instruments to play or display in their room.
One day during a rain storm the trio bored out of their skulls decided to explore the basement, they looked at various items and photos when they came across an old journal with the Letters A. S. T. printed on the cover, curious they opened and soon they were sucked into the world of Alvin and The Chipmunks.
'Sleep was fickle...my mind is racing with a million thoughts good and bad and weird...restlessness filled my limps as I lay my bed staring up at the ceiling of my shared room, the sounds of my brothers' soft snores, sounds that used to be comforting...but thanks to this heavy tightness in chest...I can't... breathe...just breathe...' Alvin thought as he passed out.
But all too soon the sun was up, it's morning in the Seville house, which meant that once again, Alvin was the last one out of bed, everyone was unaware that he was struggling at night.
As usual, Simon was in charge of getting him out of bed, which was difficult to say the least, especially during winter time, the boy was always wanting to practically hibernate, as he set to start this tiresome process, he failed to notice the dark rings forming around Alvin's eyes or the grimace on the boy's face as a bad nightmare took hold.
"Exactly how I want to spend my mornings," grumbled the blue-clad chipmunk, "waking up the sloth."
Just as Simon was getting ready to wake Alvin up, the boy bolts up, causing the boys' foreheads to collide, which had them both groaning in pain
"Ow! Simon!" Groaned Alvin, "What are you doing?"
"I was going to wake you up," replied Simon, rubbing the new ache on his forehead.
"Oh...well, thanks..." Alvin notices that his usual shirt is missing...causing a jolt of anxiety through his body "Where is my shirt?" he asked as he gets up and quickly finds it and gets dressed before heading downstairs to kitchen.
"Well look who it is!" Laughed Dave, turning away from the stove for a moment to place a plate of freshly made hash browns in front of the drowsy chipmunk, "he has awakened!"
"Mhm...ughhh" groaned Alvin, less than pleased that he was away from the luxuries of sleep. He pushed his plate away to let his younger, green-clad brother devour it. Something felt strangely out of place to Alvin. He felt unbalanced, anxious, achy and exhausted more than usual. He was no stranger to growing pains or sore muscles, but this was different - the chipmunk felt heavy, however, he tried not to be too bothered by any of it. Ignoring this strange new sensation, he placed his head on the table.
"Don't go back to sleep, silly!" laughed Theodore with a mouth full of hash browns, shaking his brother's arm, "wakey wakey!"
Simon simply rolled his eyes, paying no mind to his brother's annoying tendencies to relapse into sleep mode at the kitchen table. It happened nearly every day in wintertime, so this wasn't anything new.
"Now Alvin," began Dave, "if you can't wake up, perhaps it would be a better idea to let you sleep instead of showing up at the concert tonight-"
"I'M AWAKE!" Exclaimed a wide-eyed Alvin, propping himself up stiffly, "I'm awake! I can do it!"
"Well, I'm glad," laughed Dave, "Now you'd better go get your bag for school."
Alvin shook his head, scooting carefully out of the kitchen booth and heading toward the main staircase to their upstairs bedroom. Ascending to the top of the stairs, Alvin disappeared into his bedroom, taking a second to stand in front of the mirror, his expression one of dread as the heaviness from last night came back full force, causing him to gasp for air for a moment, soon he was able to move again he grabs his school bag, turning to head back down, only nearly bump into Dave.
"Hey, Alvin? You okay, buddy, you look a little pale are you sick?" Dave asked concerned as reached down to feel the boy's forehead.
"Y-yeah...no... just tired," replied Alvin amid a yawn, just as he started to follow Dave to head downstairs, he was greeted by his older sister, Dvita, who went under the stage name Bilateral since her name meant two or divine.
Alvin just gives her a quick greeting before heading out the door with his brothers and Dave, he starts singing the song he had written recently in secret, as Dave drives towards the school.
Despite the lively façade the band presented, Alvin battled the unseen weights of depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder that sapped his energy.
"You need to be perfect, straight back, less weight, and smile is what brings the crowds." the words of their Grandfather/Manager ring in Alvin's head, while Simon and Theo just scoff at this, Alvin takes it seriously.
As Alvin lays in his bed, he stares at the ceiling of his room, his mind and body drained, that is until he hears his name being shouted, and forces himself to get up and ready to face the world once more.
Their older sister Devita, was a chipmunk like them, but she came under Dave's guardianship when she was 2 years of age, along with her infant brothers, she often was the voice of reason much like Simon, caring and compassionate like Theo and mischievous like Alvin, but she was also the unspoken leader of their group, the one who made sure that the boys took breaks, eat, sleep, etc. when Dave was busy working.
But lately, she has been more and more worried about Alvin, his behavior once lively and full of mischief, was now solemn and withdrawn, she knew that their "Grandfather/Manager" was behind this change, and she was determined to stop it.
The day started as a typical day for them, as they all piled into Dave's car and went to the studio to rehearse.
Alvin :
On a cold winter morning
On a school bus bound for nowhere
I met up with a gambler
We were both too tired to sleep
So we took turns a-starin'
At windows at the darkness
The boredom overtook us and he began to speak
He said, "Son, I've made a life
Out of reading' people's faces
Knowing' what their cards were
By the way they held their eyes
So if you don't mind me sayin'
I can see you're out of aces
For a sip of your soda
I'll give you some advice"
So I handed him my bottle
And he drank down my last swallow
Then he bummed a Twinkie
And he offered me a bit
And the day got deathly quiet
And his faced lost all expression
He said, "If you're gonna play the game, boy
You gotta learn to play it right
Alvin Simon and Theodore :
You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
You never count your money
When you're sitting' at the table
There'll be time enough for counting'
When the dealin's done
Every rehearsal was a dance of smiles and laughter, yet a heavy silence enveloped Alvin as soon as the final note was played.
He felt pressured to maintain the public persona of a joyful, carefree band leader, always ready for the next performance.
But inside, he was a cacophony of worry, fear, and exhaustion.
As this was all going on their Grandfather was busy scheming as he talked on the phone to a few "associates" that he had in his pockets.
"Yes, I understand, I just need to get my son to relinquish those freaks under my control while we travel, plus I have to deal with the oldest, she will be even harder to control, maybe I should do away with her, no your right, it would bring unnecessary attention, just give me more time and I promise I will pay you back."
Just then the phone line went down, leaving the older man sighing in frustration as he grabs the hidden bottle of whiskey to calm his nerves.
Alvin's anxious heart raced as he stood before the mirror in his dimly lit room, rehearsing his smile. The gnawing feeling in his stomach intertwined with his thoughts, spiraling rapidly into a dark place where self-doubt thrived.
"They need me to be perfect," he whispered to himself. "I can't let them down."
His brothers, Simon and Theodore, often sensed that something was amiss. They watched in quiet concern as Alvin grew more withdrawn, his smiles becoming more forced, and his laughter less frequent. Simon, the smart yet observant one, once cornered Alvin after rehearsal.
"Alvin, we're a team—whatever you're going through, you can tell us," Simon urged, genuine worry shining in his eyes.
But Alvin shrugged it off, plastering a grin that didn't quite reach his eyes. "I'm fine, Simon! Just a bit stressed about the tour, you know?"
As the days turned into weeks, Alvin tried to manage the pressures of fame that his adoptive grandfather forced onto him.
Their Dad, Dave always tried to protect them from their grandfather's cruelty, but it wasn't always possible, mostly because both senior and junior never got on with each other, Devita tries to secretly make sure that Alvin knows that he doesn't have to follow this stupid rules or expectations
When Simon and Theodore would bring their concerns about Alvin, Dave tried to talk with the older boy, but again thanks to the carefully crafted persona, Alvin was able to lie quite easily, much to Devita's frustration.
Over time, Senior was more controlling, making very detailed schedules for all three boys, Simon and Theodore just ignored this. Alvin felt he had no choice but to appease his grandfather, since the man had threatened to cause his little brothers harm for their misbehavior, Alvin being the protective older brother, pleaded and begged the man to let him take it all and the man agreed.
As a way of dealing with his loss of control in his everyday life, he further tightened his grip on his eating habits, the more transient his happiness felt. He counted calories obsessively, thinking perfection was attainable through control over his body. But every achieved goal brought only a fleeting sense of victory, quickly replaced by guilt and shame.
Eventually it all came to a head during a concert, Alvin was singing, trying to ignore the growing anxiety and ache of his body as it grew weaker, but without any warning Alvin collapsed, causing the crowds and his family minus his grandfather to scream out in fear and concern as EMTs quickly got him on a gurney while trying to stabilize him.
At the hospital, Alvin was soon hooked up to all sort of machines and IVs to help stabilize his condition, but the most concerning part was his lack of response to outside simulation, they had checked for head trauma or injuries and so far found nothing wrong, so they just decided to monitor him closely.
When Dave and co. arrived at the hospital, they were soon put in a family room, where the doctors and nurses were able to explain Alvin's condition.
Extreme Malnutrition, dehydration and chatonia.
Of course, because of Dave's status as his main guardian, he was questioned by the hospital social worker to determine if he was aware or the cause of Alvin's poor state, but it was soon quickly apparent that he wasn't the cause and that it seemed almost self-inflicted.
Plus Devia, Theodore, and Simon were able to verify that wasn't the case and even told them about their concerns with the children's grandfather being the one that caused Alvin's decline, but unless there was some hard proof, they couldn't do much about it except to not allow him in the room.
Angrily Devita growls at the doctor and says, "Hard proof?! Here is some hard proof for ya!" She reaches into her pocket and pulls out her phone, pulling up a video that she had recorded.
"This was when we recorded a song that has yet to be sung in concert. We had only used it in a TV show that was geared towards teens. Of course, he was drinking a root beer, but for the most part, he seemed okay, if not a little worn out our Grandfather had whispered something to him and he soon became almost robotic."
The video starts with typical intro for an older kids show, then soon the host, Leo talks briefly about what to expect with today's program, including Alvin and The Chipmunks.
Soon the camera points towards where the trio stood ready to play and sing.
Alvin (Simon and Theodore ;

Soon the video fades out and Devita clicks out, putting her phone away.
"You are telling me that your Grandfather never even noticed that he was ill or was plainly ignoring it?" Dr. Carlos asked.
The three siblings shake their heads, "I suspect that Alvin was wearing make up to hide his sickly appearance." Simon states that he remembers the times that Alvin spent a little more time in makeup, when he usually is itching to avoid it like the plague.
"He was also acting more hyper than usual, it was almost impossible to keep up with him when we were singing or playing music," Theodore says.
"I did notice that he wasn't eating as much, but I put it off to nerves or just excitement," Dave says, guilt eating at him deeply.
The doc just sighs heavily, "Okay, with young Alvin's current state right now I believe it best for only a limited group of people are allow to come and visit him, which will be check by security that I will have standing outside his rooms, but for now you all may visit him for a bit, just remember to keep the noise level low and calm, speaking with him might get him to respond, but don't be disappointed if he doesn't."
They all nodded in understanding as they gathered into the room where Alvin was lying in his bed, sleeping, only the sounds of monitors and machines filled the room.
But now he was just lying in a hospital bed, weak, exhausted, barely acknowledging his family as they spoke to him or themselves, but all he could hear a faint buzzing as he just retreated further into himself.
One rainy afternoon, while sitting under an old oak tree, a small mysterious hooded figure looked up at Jake who normally was always happy and smiling, grim and solemn.
"Senior has finally been arrested," Jake states
as the figure grunts, muttering something under his breath before pulling his hood away from his face to reveal Alvin, or rather a face similar to Alvin's. "It's about time that bastard got what was coming to him."
Jake just sighs, saying, "Adam...
" Hearing his name in a stern warning, he just sighs, muttering a quick apology. "Sorry, but that bastard was the reason for separating me from my family, especially, Alvin, I mean look at this old newspaper clipping."
A BAND NO MORE Alvin Seville new lead star of Alvin and the Chipmunks band
Last night Adam Michel Seviller showed us he wanted to
be more than a talking and singing chipmunk
Last night He left the band we caught the former lead singer, Adam Seville aged just 5 years old, drinking booze and doing drugs before being taken away to Happy Dale: The Home For The Tilted
Meanwhile
We have a new face, the twin brother of Adam, Alvin Matthew Seville as a new leader singer for Alvin and the Chipmunks
let's hope he can handle the pressure better than Adam
Look like Adam Michel Seville's reputation is ruined
"I am surprised you didn't burn that tabloid trash, you drinking and do drugs at 5 years old, that is just insane," Jake states.
Adam shakes his head, "I couldn't bring myself too, because while was a black spot in my life, it was my little brother's big debut."
Jake rubs his face wary, before putting a gentle hand on Adam's shoulder, as they both make their way home, and eat a simple but hearty dinner, before going their separate ways, Jake in his office, Adam in his room, where he got to work on a drawing that he had wanted to finish, but his mind wasn't letting him focus clearly, at first he thought that he was just having a random episode of brain fog since lately, his moods have felt all over the place, but as soon as the feeling came it went away and that is when he started to get the feeling that wasn't his mind messing with him, but Alvin's.
Putting his drawing aside he sits on his bed and enters into a trance, he quickly observes his emotions and thoughts in his mindscape, and soon he starts to feel a faint echo of a voice that he had thought he never hear again.
"C.W. what is it?" Adam asked as the ghostly figure of a boy appeared holding a guitar, his usual smiling face replaced with a look of deep concern.
"Adam, I am sure that you feel it. Your twin is crying out for you," he states his appearance changing into a man, where a boy once stood.
Adam looks unsure as he looks up at his "guardian angel" the one who helped him through his darkest days when Jake couldn't. Without a word, the man, now an elderly man pulls the guitar up front and starts to play a familiar tune.
Without thought, Adam started to sing the song, his dreamscape turning into an old but all to familiar backyard.
Adam :
Remember me, though I have to say goodbye
Remember me, don't let it make you cry
For even if I'm far away, I hold you in my heart
I sing a secret song to you each night we are apart
Remember me, though I have to travel far
The faint figure of Alvin starts to appear, his expression blank until he hears the song from Adam and starts to sing as well.
Adam :
Remember me each time you hear a sad guitar
Adam Alvin :
Know that I'm with you is the only way that I can be
Until you're in my arms again
Remember -
Adam ;
Me...
Adam tries to touch Alvin, but the figure fades, only leaving a sad but determined older brother, as he turns to C.W. who is now a little boy.
"Adam, you need to go to Alvin now, he needs you," he states calmly.
"I know, but it has been ten years, I am not sure if he will forgive me for leaving him to that old bastard's manipulation and cruelty," Adam says his tone bitter and regretful.
C.W. sighs, "Sing this song to him, while it won't solve everything, but it might help him come back to reality to you and your family, it will be a long road with many up and downs, twists and turns, just know that with a lot of patience, love and support, young Alvin will come back."
Without warning Adam woke up with a curse as he made his way towards Jake's office, knocking on the door, shouting, "Hey I am going for a ride, be back in a while, I will ring you if I need a ride or just to let you know I am still alive."
"Okay, but I am going to give DJ a heads up that your on your way." Jake states through the door as he quickly dials his friend's number.
With that said the boy got onto his bike and booked it for the hospital, practically jumping off the bike as he ran inside the building forgoing the elevators for the stairs, as he quickly makes his way towards the Children's Ward, he went to the nurse desk and ask where Alvin was and that is when he was stopped by the security guard.
"Little Boy, what are you doing? Where are your parents?" he asked, only to let a squeal of pain as he was kicked in the jewels, Adam ran towards where his brother's was as he was being chased by the guard.
"Stop in the name of Security! I need back up! you aren't allowed in the room Stop! Please stop!" the man shouts only to be stopped by David Jr. who Adam was hiding behind.
"Sir, it's okay, he belongs to me, he was just dropped off and didn't know about the security, he wanted to see his brother since he had been away at boarding school." David Jr. says only partly lying as he gestures behind his back for the boy to head inside.
Adam quietly walked into the thankfully mostly empty room, only his twin was there, lying on the bed, his eyes half open and dull, his chest rising and falling softly, as the soft sounds of machines beeping and buzzing monitored his health.
He carefully pulls out his phone, opens up a guitar app, and starts to play it. "Alvin, please remember this song."
Adam :
Remember me though I have to say goodbye
Remember me, don't let it make you cry
For even if I'm far away, I hold you in my heart
I sing a secret song to you each night we are apart
Remember me though I have to travel far
Alvin starts to twitch a bit before he starts to sing along with Adam, his sad expression turning to one of pure happiness as he stares at his long-lost twin.
Adam & Alvin
Remember me each time you hear a sad guitar
Know that I'm with you the only way that I can be
Until you're in my arms again, remember me
Without a thought both brothers embrace, tears of loss and reunion streaming down their faces, only to break apart when they hear Simon, Theodore, and Devita outside the room.
They all came in and froze when they saw Adam sitting there, Devita rushes over to him, hugging him tightly, Simon was unsure, but Adam gives him a reassuring smile, Theodore just looks confused for a moment, but then he looks at Adam and spots familiar looking stripe of green hair under the hood of his sweatshirt, he too joins the group hug.
After a while and quick once over by Dr Carlos, Adam had to leave, which had Alvin tighten his grip on him, "Al, I get you don't want me to leave, but I will be back tomorrow promise, okay you need to rest."
Alvin reluctantly lets him go, yawning tiredly, quickly falling asleep, while Adam follows the rest of his siblings outside, only to stop Dave Jr.
"Hey Dave, I was wondering if you could get an interview with Jessie on Channel 9, I need to set somethings straight once and for all." Adam says.
Dave nods, "Yes, just let Jake know so that he can bring you." Adam sent a quick text and soon a reply arrives just as quick, Jake was on board.
As soon as Dave had a chance, he called Channel 9 and he got Adam an interview with Jessie early the next morning.
After the usual morning weather reports and announcements, Jessie's interview with Adam was on.
"My next guest is the former leader of the Chipmunk Band aka "Alvin and The Chipmunks." with some shocking reveals for this reporter and viewers.
"Hello, Adam, I trust you are well," Jessie asked in a kind tone.
Adam nods, "Yes."
"So I am told that your removal from the band wasn't your choice, can you care to expand on that?" Jessie asked
"Yes, my removal was the band's former manager, David Seville Sr., he wanted to control everything and that included the money, my lack of willingness to bend to his will was seen as a threat and so he abused me until I was not able to perform and so he used it as a way to forcibly separate me from my family, claiming that I was dangerous and unfit to be around anyone in my family, Dave Jr. was mostly unaware of this, but he made sure that I was under the care of his best friend Jake, who helped me recover." Adam said
Jessie was shocked by this and after a few more questions and answers the interview was over quickly.
Soon the interview became international news with a lot of fans screaming in outrage at this.
A mentally exhausted Adam was soon on his way to the hospital to visit Alvin, seeing his brother's face brighten at him, made him smile as they were joined by Simon, Theo, and Devita in a game of cards, while Dave was talking with Dr. Carlos in his office.
"Dave, I want to discuss Alvin's condition and how to proceed from here," he said.
Dave looked at the man, confused. "What do you mean? This is just a one-time thing, isn't it?"
The doctor shook his head, "No, I am afraid not. it seems like Alvin has had a severe mental breakdown which is resulting in moderate depression and severe anxiety on top of the eating disorder, which is why he will need full-time care, I will print out a list of Caregivers and Mental Health Therapists that you can look into."
Dave was stunned at hearing this, "I - I can't even understand this, he just started to respond more, I figured that he was going in the right direction."
Dr. Carlos looks at the man with sympathy, "Well yes that is a good first step, but the road to recovery is not an easy one, he will have days where he can function fine and even speak, but then days where he is unable or not wanting to do anything, while sometimes you will have to be tough with him, he will mostly need all of support, patience, and love, along with his siblings as well,
I m also give you a prescription for Zoloft an antidepressant for Alvin to take once a day, it should help ease the symptoms of Anxiety and Depression also it might make he feel tired for a bit, the side effects are usually temporary, but if they don't go away after about 2 week, bring him to me and I will see about something else, if for some reason you feel his depression is getting worse I can give him an mild antipsychoic, but that is a last resort. Also, here is a list of signs that you need to watch out for with Alvin's anorexia ."Dr. Carlos said
Taking both the prescription and pamphlet about childhood anorexia, Dave nods a little numb to all this new information as he thanks the doctor and leaves to go be with his kids. he stood outside the door, overhearing Adam being asked about his whereabouts the last few years.
"Hey Adam, I have been wondering, where were you these last few years?" Simon asked
Adam looks at him, "I was with Jake, who is a friend of Dad's, he is my foster dad at least until I can move back in with you guys."
"So I guess that means you will resume your role as older brother?" Devita asked
Adam nods,
but that only confuses Theodore and Simon.
"Wait, I thought Alvin was the oldest?" Theodore asked.
Adam shakes his head, "No, I am afraid that was yet another lie that our 'Grandfather' made up after I was removed."
"That explains why Alvin was always acting like he was the older sibling, but I got the feeling that it was forced. I had asked Devita about it, but she never said why." Simon states.
Devita gives Simon a mild look, "The only reason I didn't say anything was because I was just looking out for us all, I didn't want to give our ex-grandfather a reason to see anyone else as a threat and remove them like he did Adam."
Adam sighs, "Just know that when I do come back, things will be different, not just for me but for all of us, for the last few years Alvin had to be the older big brother, so don't be surprised if he starts to act younger than before."
Meanwhile, Alvin was dreaming, singing a song that he had always kept secret from everyone, even his twin.
[Verse 1]
Your boxes packed up on the bed
Your words are in my head
Telling' me it will be okay
You'll remember what you said
Or was it just another lie?
[Verse 2]
This place that used to be your home
Would you call me on the phone?
Will I hear your voice in the middle of the night
When I turn off the lights?
Or are you just another ghost? (Oh-oh, oh-oh-oh)
[Pre-Chorus]
How could you lie to my face?
And did our time mean nothing to you?
Were you bluffing all along?
That you would be there to see
Yourself forgiven by me
If you thought that I'd takе it, you were wrong
Oh, you werе wrong
[Chorus]
And when you're gone, I will be okay
I will be okay, though I'll never be the same
And I'll know that I was right to doubt you
I'll grow without you, and you'll only know my name
[Outro]
You always told me I'd be okay
Well, I'll be okay, though I'm not okay today
But my tears won't fall upon your shoulder
I'll just get older and you'll only know my name
Alvin woke up after the dream, a deep sadness settled in his chest as silent tears streamed down his face.
Meanwhile, outside the room, Dave was talking with the kids about needing a fresh start and more room, so he pulls up a house listing and shows them. a one-story ranch style house with a colonial flair to it, showing 7 bedrooms with its ensuite bathroom, large living room with a fireplace, a kitchen that was updated to most recent look and appliances, a large gated yard, and a two-car garage.
While it all looked good, the only downside it was in L.A. California, which was a far cry from where they were currently living, but it had it's perks, since the current school they all attended was severely lacking; it didn't even have a playground or any after school clubs, plus the teachers were always picking favorites and even encouraged bullying of their least favorites, the times that anyone tried to bring it to the principal's attention he was dismissive.
When Dave told Alvin about it the boy just looked unsure, but excited, even though they would have to wait until the end of the school year and the tour coming to an end.
The day that Alvin was finally discharged was a welcome relief even though Alvin was still mute barely speaking and eating was still an issue, the thing that made it bearable was the fact that Adam was now allowed to move back in with them, Jake had signed guardianship back over to Dave, Adam was going to room with Alvin, while Simon and Theodore were staying in theirs, Devita still had her room.
Thankfully, the doctor recommended a family/eating disorder therapist for all of them when they do move since they were all affected by his ex father's actions in some way.

Ms. Kent smiles at the girls as they take a much needed break, "Good job today girls."
Just then, Dora spots a familiar face on the TV. "Hey girls look Alvin's on TV!" she says as they all turned to look at the screen.
Charlene, look at the Alvin look like and says, "That's not Alvin, just someone that looks like him.
Brittney nods in agreement, "Yeah he looks too serious to be Alvin, we all know he can be an idiot at times."
