CHAPTER 11

There was, of course, more clothes shopping to do for the third dance. Harry went to Hogsmeade with Fleur and Luna and saw George and Cedric as he was entering the store, "Hi guys! New dance, new gown right?"

George nodded, "And we have to match. Which I would have trouble with if my date hadn't intimidated Bagman into paying me what he owes for the bet he made with Fred and I at the world cup."

"How did she do that?" Cedric asked.

"She told him who her father was and offered to not send her father one of Colin's pictures of her leaving the lake in the bathing suit Bagman insisted on," George said.

"Colin took pictures?" Harry said. "I may need to find him and talk to him about that."

"He's only selling them to students, not the press," Cedric said. He shrugged, "Could be worse. Cho likes the picture of me he sold her."

"He took pictures of us guys too?" Harry asked.

Luna giggled, "I'm not surprised."

"If you wish to buy a picture of me for yourself that is fine," Fleur said. "However if you plan to scold the other boy for his hobby then please do not do so on my account. I have dressed similarly when on the beaches of Marseilles. I was more upset at the weather and the leering condescension than the actual outfit. To be forced to wear such clothes in cold weather when everyone else is fully dressed is uncomfortable but it was not his fault nor was he the only photographer to take my picture." She shrugged, "The fact that he is not selling to the press is a sign that he has some scruples. I'm sure if he was some paparazzi then we would be seeing many more pictures of us in the local paper."

Harry nodded then turned to Luna, "How do you feel about Colin's pictures?"

Luna giggled, "I doubt he took any of me but I won't be upset if he did. Fleur's right about it not being his fault and if he scanned past a topless Fleur to take pictures of me in a bikini then I will take it as a compliment. I won't tell him that though since I have classes with him unlike any of the rest of you." She smiled, "As for you buying a picture of me, I can hardly object when I have bought one of his pictures of you." She looked thoughtful, "Maybe I can talk him into giving me a free picture of Fleur in exchange for helping to calm you down. I was unable to purchase both pictures at the time and you seem like you are less likely than Fleur to wear such things in the future."

"Vraiment?" Fleur said. "You would find pleasure in such a picture?"

"Oh yes," Luna said. "Was that not clear?"

Fleur smiled wider, "I think I am glad not all English are prudes." She linked one of Luna's arms in hers, "Let us find this Colin and see what we may purchase from him."

Luna grinned up at the taller girl, "If he didn't get any pictures of me before, well I still have the suit." She looked at Harry, "Are you coming?"

"I thought we were buying more clothes?" Harry said.

"Ah, thank you Harry," Fleur said. "I had almost forgotten."

"Yes," Luna said. "It would be a shame if we got distracted and missed our chance here. Colin's pictures may sell out but we can always ask him to take more."

Harry shrugged then said, "Do you need me to buy a new dress for you Luna?"

"I have received my allowance since then but if you are willing then I would appreciate that," Luna said. "I need new parchment and ink and sadly supply and demand may drive up the price of Colin's pictures."

George laughed and turning to his date he said, "Did you get all of Colin's pictures of you?"

"I did," Daphne said. "At least all he had left. If you want one you'll have to meet my price." She grinned, "We can negotiate that later."

George smiled, "Indeed, I'm glad I agreed to go to the yule ball with you and glad you have agreed to keep dating me."

"So am I," said Daphne. "Now let's get our shopping done." She grabbed George's hand and tugged him further into the store.

"D'Accord," Fleur said. "Gossip later, shopping now." She strode into the store and both Harry and Luna followed.

"What do you think, Harry?" Luna said. She and Fleur were wearing dresses of the same shade of blue but of different style and cut.

"I love both of them," Harry said. "What can I do to match you two lovely ladies?"

Fleur lifted a set of dress robes, "You can wear this."

Harry shrugged, "Sure, as long as it fits."

"Bon," Fleur said. "Come with me and we shall see if it fits." She grabbed Harry by the hand and dragged him into a changing room. As Harry dressed he heard Daphne and George talking.

George said, "I thought you didn't want to share a dressing room?"

"That's only while I'm changing," Daphne said with a giggle. "If you're changing I plan to enjoy the view."

"Fair warning then," George replied. "If you do it too often I may reciprocate."

"Consider me warned," Daphne said. "And I like your underwear by the way."

"Thank you," George said. "It's a pity I can't return the compliment."

Harry shook his head at what he was hearing as he put his new robe over his shirt and pants, "How does this look?"

"You look good," Fleur said. "But wouldn't you rather try it on over fewer clothes?" She smiled, "The way your friend George is doing?"

Harry blushed, "No, I'd really rather not."

Fleur shrugged, "Okay then, let us pay for our outfits and go."

As they were walking around Hogsmeade Luna said, "I have been considering that prophecy."

"Vraiment?" Fleur asked.

"Have you figured it out?" Harry asked.

"I think it's a rather randy prophecy," Luna said. "If you remember the last line said 'Once he on honeydews hath fed and drunk the nectar of Paradise'. I've checked with other Ravenclaws who tell me that those could be taken as lewd."

"Lewd how?" Fleur asked. "English is not my first language but I thought honeydew was a fruit?"

Harry blushed, "It can also be a euphemism."

Fleur started to ask what they were a euphemism for but then figured it out, "Oh, I see. Is 'nectar of paradise' also a euphemism?"

Still blushing, Harry said, "I've never heard of it. But I suppose it could be."

Luna giggled, "Should I ask some of the older Ravenclaw girls? They would have heard it during the yule ball too."

Fleur smiled, "I think I can figure it out but if you wish to be sure then do so. Let me know what they say? I might be wrong after all."

Luna smiled back, "I'll be sure to let you know."

When he got back to his dorm he saw Hermione, "Hey, Hermione? Can I talk to you inside a privacy spell?"

She nodded, "Yes surely, Harry. What happened?"

Harry cast the privacy spell, "While shopping for the May dance Luna gave her opinion on the prophecy we all heard during the yule ball."

"What does she think?" Hermione asked.

"She thinks the word honeydews is a euphemism," Harry said.

"And nectar as well?" Hermione asked.

Harry blushed, "Yes, is that even possible?"

Hermione blushed a little too but nodded, "There's no reason a prophecy can't have a euphemism. They are generally vague as you know. Apparently anything but clear, unambiguous, statements is allowed."

"Oh," Harry said. "Any way to find out if she's right?"

Hermione grinned, "You could do what Luna suggested and see what happens?"

Harry blushed, "I'm not sure they'd let me do that."

Hermione grinned, "I think it's more likely they will demand it." She snickered, "For your safety of course."

Harry shrugged, "If they do I'll feel better about it."

"So you prefer it when the lady is in charge?" Hermione asked.

Harry cancelled the privacy spell, "Thanks for that, I guess." He headed off to his room and tried to ignore Hermione's giggling.

Along the way he came across Fleur and Colin negotiating. He considered stopping to listen, then waved and called out, "How goes the bargaining?"

Luna said, "We each got a picture of you for having convinced you to be okay with Colin taking pictures. I'm now trying to get a lower price for a picture of Fleur and she's helping me."

"I think a picture of Luna should be no cheaper than one of me or you," Fleur said. "So we are trying to convince him."

"What is the current rate and how many do you have?" Harry asked.

"If you buy them all please give one to Fleur," Luna said. "For that matter I'd like to see it myself."

"I've been getting a Galleon for each picture of Fleur," Colin said. "Sorry, Luna but pictures of you only sell for half of that."

"So how many are left," Harry asked again.

"Three pictures of Fleur and eight of Luna," Colin said.

"Here's ten galleons," Harry said. "I want all of both sets. Are there any negatives?"

Colin shook his head, "Not with magical pictures and I didn't take any non-magical ones." He put the pictures in an envelope and swapped it for the ten galleons. "Pleasure doing business with all of you."

After they were around the corner Harry stopped and held up the envelope, "Are you sure neither of you mind me having one of your pictures?"

"As long as you give me one of eachI'm happy with it," Luna said.

"Same here Cherie," Fleur said. "Just keep it safe and don't show it around to your guy friends."

Harry gave each of them a picture of a topless Fleur in a wet white thong and one of Luna in a blue triangle bikini, "I'll hide the rest."

"Stick a few under your mattress, Harry," Luna said. "So you can look at them at night. It's what I plan to do."
