As it has been almost a week since Walker's attack on Amity Park and having turned public opinion against Danny, things have been rather awkward between him and Lunette.

Several days ago, Lunette, after having calmed Danny down after failing to prove his 'ghost-half's' innocence (without mentioning that he is the ghost-boy) and showing that he is still a good person, Lunette had kissed Danny on the cheek.

Since then, things have been different between them as Lunette was feeling ashamed after what she did and scared to try to talk to Danny about it, fearing what would happen. As for Danny, he was acting more dreamy than usual. Though he had tried to talk with Lunette, she had been avoiding him for days, which confused him, but honestly… didn't knew how to talk to her about it.

With Friday's lessons at Casper High coming to an end and the final bell rang, many of the students made their way out of the building.

Danny made his way up to his locker. As he opened it and takes a book out, he looks at a picture that was attached to his locker door, showing him and Lunette smiling while playing Andromeda Genysis together on a computer at the Gaming Club.

Looking at the picture, Danny thought back when Lunette kissed him on the cheek last Sunday behind the bowling alley. That thought made him dreamy, imagining him and Lunette being in a romantic embrace… before leaning in… and share a passionate kiss.

That was when Sam and Tucker walk up to him, with Tucker asking him while typing down on his PDA, "Hey, Danny, what was that test again we have on Wednesday? I can't find it on the school's website." But when noticing Danny being in his dreamy-mode, Tucker raised an eyebrow and waves his hand in front of Danny's face "Danny? Hello?" but as he notices him staring dreamily at the picture of him and Lunette back at the Gaming Club, he forms a grin on his face "Aaah, I see what's going on his mind."

Sam started to get angrily jealous as the images of having witnessed him hugging Lunette romantically was still painful to her. In her anger, Sam's slams Danny's locker shut "HEY!?"

Danny snapped out of his daydreaming mode "Hu-huh? What?" he asked while blinking his eyes and asked Tucker "What did you say again, Tucker?"

"Seriously, Danny?! We were standing right in front of your face the whole time!" Sam yells.

"About what?" Danny asks clueless.

Sam annoyingly sighs before slapping her face and states, "Tucker just asked you about the important test we have this Wednesday. I know it's only less than a week, but I think that…"

However, as Danny saw Lunette walking down the hallway together with Danuta, Sam's words slowly muted in his ears as all his attention on Lunette. Looking at her made time to slow down for Danny while a dreamily smile forms on his face, thinking, 'Wow…'.

Lunette was noticing that Danny was looking at her, with him giving a small wave. She however blushes deeply and looks away while a face of shame forms on her face, which Danny saw, making him raise an eyebrow.

Danuta had been noticing Lunette had been avoiding Danny for some reason all weak and was very embarrassed and scared, almost ashamed of something. She knew she had to talk with her best friend about it and know the reason why she's acting like this.

'Why is Lunette avoiding me ever since she… gave me that kiss?' Danny mentally wanders, 'What did I do wrong? I mean… it was just a kiss…'

But as Lunette headed into a different hallway with Danuta, time went normal again in his head. He then turns back to Sam, showing she was forming an angry, disappointing and jealous look while she crosses her arms and taps her foot.

"What?"

Having had enough of this, Sam walks away "You know what, Danny? If you prefer wasting valuable time watching other girls than planning to learn for the upcoming math test, be my guest!" but as she goes through another hallway, her jealous rage boiled over "GrrrrrAAAAGH!" and punched a nearby locker, leaving a dent in the locker's window.

After blinking his eyes of confusion, Danny asks Tucker, "What was that all about?"

Tucker shrugs.

The next day, in the office of Hi-Lited…

After their weekly school paper meeting with their toxic main editor Mia Cross, being forced to listen to another one of her 'brilliant plans' for next week's edition, which is putting the A-Listers in the spotlights again, Danuta asks Lunette while they left the school building together, "Is something bothering you, Lun?"

Surprised and feeling her anxiety rising, Lunette began to stutter, "Wha… w-w-what do you mean?"

Danuta takes Lunette a street away from the school, with her explaining as they stopped near a traffic light, "It's about how you've been behaving lately, Lun, especially when you're around Danny. Did something happened between you two?"

Lunette started to sweat while twiddling with her fingers, looking nervous.

Danuta shook her head, as she just wants to know what's going on. "The way you're feeling embarrassed while being around him, that you won't even talk with him as if you're ashamed of something," she puts her hands on her shoulder, ensuring her, "Lunette, I'm your best friend. You can tell me anything. I promise, I won't judge."

Knowing she could trust Danuta, like she's a sister to her, Lunette sighs deep while calming down. "Okay… you see, Danu… Last week… when I went out with Danny and his friends to the bowling alley we…" she became nervous again, but gathered a bit of courage to continue explaining, "Well… actually… Danny then wanted to stop and leave, telling he didn't feel like to go bowling. So… I figured that he was very frustrated because we failed the other day to convince the newspapers that… 'The Ghost Boy' is innocent and… we talked… and then we… we hugged… and…"

Danuta gasps while covering her mouth trying to suppress a smile after Lunette said that they'd 'hugged', feeling where this was going.

"…and then we…" Lunette was feeling very nervous.

Danuta gasps even louder with excitement "You guys kissed?!"

"No, I…! I mean, yes! But…" Lunette stuttered before admitting "I only gave him a kiss on the cheek and…!"

Danuta was smiling bright while squealing with excitement.

"But I didn't mean to do that!" Lunette stated with a near panicked voice "Well… we did spend so much time together and… I just wanted to be there for him and before I knew it… I didn't know what I was doing before it was too late and…!"

Danuta held her shoulders while shaking her, trying to calm Lunette, "Lun, take it easy. I just…" she gave a small squeal before hugging her "I'm so proud of you!" but then wanders why she was acting like this "But why are you feeling so embarrassed about it?"

Lunette sighs while looking away, feeling ashamed of having kissed Danny "I… I don't know. I mean, yeah, Danny is a nice guy and all, but… I feel like this is going too fast." she buries her face in her hands "Oh, God! What if this ruins our friendship?!"

"Lun," Danuta says in a calm sisterly way, "I get it. But I really think you should talk with Danny about it."

As this was the last piece of advice she needed, Lunette's anxiety rose again.

"I know you're scared and all, but the longer you wait to talk to him about this, the harder it's going to get. And you may lose Danny 'as a friend'."

"But, what if he…" Lunette tried to say, finding an excuse for not saying. But feeling that Danuta is right, she sighs deep "No. You're right. Maybe… I should talk to him."

Danuta forms a proudly smile and hugs her, "It'll be okay, Lun. You'll see."

Lunette gave a small chuckle and hugs her back "I hope so."

In her mind, Lunette said to herself, 'What am I even going to tell him? What will he say? No… I have to try it! But I'm gonna wait until Monday, giving me some time to think what to say and maybe expect what he'll say.'

At that same time, at Fenton Works…

Danny was in his room, sitting at his desk using his computer and was on an online video-chatroom with his two best friends.

After having talked with Tucker and Sam for a while and having discussed about their homework assignments that Lancer gave them yesterday and also studying for the big test on Wednesday, they decided to go to the waterpark 'Floody Waters' because it was about to become even warmer than today. Then, Sam says her goodbyes to Danny and Tucker.

"Sorry, guys, I gotta go now." Sam states while she sighs.

"Already? Why?" Tucker asks with a raised eyebrow.

Sam then explained the reason she had to leave the chatroom sooner, "It's my gran Izzy's birthday and we're going out with the whole family to this fancy restaurant in Columbus called 'Entrée'."

Hearing this from Sam, surprised both Danny and Tucker, with Danny saying, "The Entrée?! Dude! That's the most expensive and fanciest French restaurant on the Eastern Seaboard!"

Sam shrugs "Well, my parents are filthy rich so we can afford it.

"Touché." Tucker said as he shrugs.

Then Sam frowns, hating it to go to this restaurant with her parents "Honestly, I prefer staying at home as I can't stand being around with parents who can't accept me for who I am!" but then said with a small smile "but because it's my grannie's birthday and how important this is for her, I'm going, but only for her and not to please my parents." she finishes while narrowing her eyes, stating that she's only going for her grandmother's sake and not to please her parents.

"Well, have fun, Sam!" Danny says.

Sam answers while still narrowing her eyes, "Please, the only thing I consider 'fun' is being one with my Goth-self. But thanks anyway, Danny." She says with a smile before she checks the time, knowing she has to get prepared before leaving "Well, gotta go! Bye!"

And Sam left the chatroom.

Tucker then folds his arms, saying while narrowing his eyes, "I kinda feel bad for Sam. If I was in her shoes, I would feel the same thing, but I would still go for my favorite grandma's sake."

Danny nods "Yeah, me too."

"Maybe things wouldn't be so bad for her if she had invited us?" Tucker stated before he smirks "Just imagine the amount of good-looking French ladies we would see in that place?"

Danny couldn't help but to laugh "Hahahaha. And how can you tell that all the ladies in that place are even French?"

Tucker shrugs while still showing the same smirk "Well, you never know once you see it for yourself."

"True." Danny admits.

But as Danny thought about what Tucker told about girls, he thought back about Lunette.

Tucker, noticing Danny's facial expression, asks him, "You okay, Danny?"

Though he was unsure if Tucker was the right person, Danny asked him anyway "Well… speaking of girls… Can I ask you for some advice?"

Hearing that made Tucker smile "Sure, dude!" then he smirks as he knew who he's referring to "Let me guess: It's about Lunette, right?"

Danny looks surprised "Wha…?! How can you tell?!"

"Hahahahaha! Isn't it obvious? You spend so much time with her that I already figured out that you like her more than just a friend."

Danny figured that Tucker would've found out sooner or later.

"Then what seems to be the problem?" he wanders.

Danny sighs as he began to tell Tucker what had happened almost a week ago when they went to the bowling alley, saying that Lunette was there to calm him after he'd left, and told she had kissed him on the cheek.

As soon as Tucker heard that, he smiles proudly at his best friend "Nice one, Danny! I knew you had it in you!"

Danny groans "But that's the point, Tucker! Ever since that happened, things have been… awkward between us for some reason…" Danny admits, "She won't even talk to me after that and…" he scratched the back of his head, feeling a bit ashamed "Oh man, I feel like I screwed it up somehow."

Tucker ensured him with a grin on his face, "Danny, you didn't do anything wrong. Trust me, girls can be very unpredictable when it comes to their emotions. There's an old saying: 'Men are from Mars and women are from Venus'."

Danny raised an eyebrow "And your point is?"

"My point is, is that girl emotions are way more complicated. While we men have it far easier when it comes to our emotions, with girls it's all different as all their all go through their heads at the same time, frustrating them far more than what boys have to deal with." Tucker states.

Danny forms a small smile "That… sorta makes sense. Didn't really knew you knew about this stuff?"

Tucker shrugs while he typed and showed him a link with all the information about girl and boy emotions "I didn't, but the internet does."

Danny narrows his eyes, figuring that Tucker would peek on the net for info.

Tucker ensured him, "However, my own grandpa once taught me that if I ever reach puberty and I fall into a situation such as yours, the important thing is that you go to her and at least try to talk with her about it. The longer you wait, the harder it's going to be for the both of you."

Danny thought about it, seeing that Tucker was right. He formed a small, determined smile "You're right, Tuck?" he then rose up from his chair "I'm going to her place right now and talk to her! The sooner the better I guess."

Tucker gave him a thumps up "That's the spirit, dude! Good luck and see you tomorrow at Floody Waters. 12 PM, right?"

Danny nods "Yep. See you tomorrow, Tuck!" Danny said before turning off his computer.

After Danny left his room and walked down the stairs, he told to his parents, who were in the kitchen/dining room busy with another anti-ghost invention, "Hey, I'm going out for a few hours!"

"Out?" Danny's mother, Maddie asked with a raised eyebrow and stopped working on the device "To where?"

Danny ensured "I'm going to… see a friend of mine. See you later!" he took his jacket and went to the front door.

"Well, alright, sweety. But, if you stay longer at your 'friend's place', be back before 10, okay?" Maddie reminded him as she and Jack didn't want their son to be home late again.

Danny nods and walks out of the house before closing the door behind him, heading to Lunette's house.

Not long after, Kaye residence…

Danny arrived at Lunette's family home. After he transformed back into his human form, he presses the bell button, waiting till somebody opens.

Not long after, Lunette's mom, Lin answered the door. She looks down at Danny before forming a small smile as he had come by their house more ever since he and Lunette became so close, "Oh, hello, Danny. What brings you here?"

Danny gave a small wave. "Hi, Mrs. Kaye. Uhm… is Lunette home? I was hoping I could talk to her for a moment?"

Lin raised an eyebrow at first but then smiles again "Sure. Come on in."

"Thanks." Danny said as Lin allowed him into the house.

At that same moment, Lunette, wearing her pink bathrobe and having her hair tied up in a towel turban, walks out of the bathroom after having taken a good shower.

Then, she heard her mom calling for her. "Oh, Lunette! Your friend Danny is here downstairs to see you!"

Hearing her mom calling that Danny was here, made her gasp with shock and blushed deep red. She quickly went to her room while she stuttered, "I… I-I-I'm Coming! Just g-give me a few minutes!" and quickly closed the door behind her "Danny…! He-he's here?!" she stuttered, being a shocked as she'd hoped to see him only after the weekend. Now realizing that her secret crush is in her home, she felt a mixture of excitement, nervousness and shyness.

She quickly checks her closet and took out several shirts and pants to quickly decide what to wear.

She first held her regular clothes and watched herself in the mirror while holding her clothes close to her, saying as her usual self, like she was talking to Danny "Hi, Danny…! You… uhm… Nice to see you! Well, it's not the first time you came here so that's… great! Hehehe!" she chuckles with nervousness.

But Lunette quickly dismissed her normal clothes and then held a purple crop top and a short pants, saying to her mirror-image in a 'cool and chill way', "Hey… what's up, Danny? Nice to see you again at my place." but seeing that this was totally not her, she tossed the clothes away while groaning with annoyance "Ugh…! No, that's not the right way to talk to a boy. God!"

Lunette then held a strapless blue dress, holding it in front of her and pretend to sound 'flirtier' to her mirror image "Hi, Danny… Glad you come by and spend some…" she then gave a soft moan "… alone time with me…" but that made her blush even deeper, making her look embarrassed and buried her face in her dress, frustrating her "Aaaagh! No, no, no, that's even worse!" she tosses the dress on her bed before looking angrily at her mirror image "C'mon, Lunette Kaye! What is wrong with you?! Pull yourself together!" and slaps herself.

She took a deep breath, collecting her thoughts and to think quickly what to wear.

Meanwhile, downstairs in the living room, Danny was sitting at the couch, with Lunette's father, Sean, who was sitting on another chair, gave him a bit of serious look while folding his arms.

Feeling a bit nervous because the way Sean was staring at him, Danny chuckles before he finally spoke, "So, uhm… You… have a nice house here, Mr. Kaye." Saying with a bit of uncertainty.

"That's Professor Kaye to you, Danny." Sean said with a stern voice.

Danny nervously corrected himself while he chuckles "Oooh, right! Professor, because you… teach science at college, right?! Hehehe…!"

Sweat started to fall from Danny's forehead as this conversation reminded him that one time when he met Paulina's dad being very protective of his daughter when going out with her to the school dance when she was 'possessed' by Dorathea's cursed amulet.

Sean got to the case and told him in a bit of stern way, "You and Lunette have been spending a lot of time together lately, Danny. I know, because Lunette tells us a lot about the things you do together, especially about your ghost hunting family."

Danny was a bit shocked, but tried to explain, "Well… yeah, I know my parents are kinda… different with their work. But I'm not THAT into ghost hunting."

Sean frowns at him "You know, this is the very first time a boy has come to our house to have a word with my daughter, other than you just coming by and do your homework together. So, I'm going ask you something and I want you to be fully honest with me, Danny."

"Uhm…" Danny said with a rising nervousness but nods "Sure."

"What are your intentions with my 14-year-old daughter?" Sean asks him very seriously.

Danny scratched the back of his head "I uhm… well… I just… Not much, really!" he suddenly says, "I was just… going to ask her a couple of… things, you know?" he nervously smiles.

This only made Sean look at him very suspicious, "What things exactly?"

"Well…" Danny began to sweat again and quickly made up "I… wanted to ask Lunette if she wanted to come with me and my friends to Floody Waters tomorrow. You know, cause it's… going to be hot tomorrow, so…"

"That still doesn't quiet answers my question, Danny."

Seeing this was going nowhere, Danny sighs and decided to be more honest "Well, Mr… I mean, Professor Kaye. The other reason for my visit is just that… me and Lunette hadn't talked to each other for some time so… I just wanted to see if everything is okay."

"Okay in what way, Danny?" Sean asks.

"Well…" Danny tried hard to think what to say, not knowing that Lunette was halfway down the stairs, overhearing him and her father talking to each other. Danny then rose up and stated in an ensuring way "Listen… I have no bad intentions to your daughter, sir. Sure, my parents are kinda weird because of their obsession with ghosts and all, but I'm not someone who drags someone into my family's believes. I just think Lunette is a cool girl to hang out with since we've spent so much time together the past few months. She's a great person and… we've helped each other out so much lately that I came to realize that nobody deserves to be treated badly for being there for someone they care,"

Sean raised an eyebrow with a bit of surprise, while Lunette blushed deeply.

"I have a lot of respect for Lunette and… I consider her an amazing friend," he hides a small blush, clearly feeling more than just friendship.

Seeing that Danny wasn't a bad kid and actually seems nice, Sean gave an approving nod "I see." He then rose from his chair "Well, then I think I see no problem with you spending that much time with my daughter." He offered his hand, clearly waning to shake a hand.

Danny forms a small smile.

But just as he was about to take Sean's hand, Lunette's father held his back, confusing Danny.

"But just that I approve your friendship with daughter, that doesn't mean I'm keeping my eyes on you," Sean gave him a final and clear warning.

Danny nods, "Uhm… sure, sir. Completely understood."

Sean smiles again and both shook hands. When he sees his daughter at the stairs, Sean nods and tells them, "I'll leave you two alone then." and went to his study room.

"Hey," Lunette said as walks over to Danny.

Danny looks, seeing that Lunette was wearing a violet off-shoulder shirt and jeans while wearing small black socks. Her hair, not being in a ponytail anymore, was now all down, though it shows it was still a bit wet after taking a shower.

"Hi," Danny said with a small blush "How… are you?"

"I'm… good." Lunette says in an awkwardly way while hiding a blush

"Good… that's good." Danny says while also hiding a blush.

"So… what brings you here?" Lunette asks.

"Well, I…" Danny tries to say "…was hoping that we… could talk about… that thing the other day…?"

Lunette blushes even deeper while mentally saying, 'Oh my God! Does he mean that kiss I gave him earlier?!' but trying to hide her anxiety and remaining calm, she says, "Right, well…" she gave a small chuckle while putting some hair behind her ear "Why don't we go upstairs to… my room?"

Danny gave a nod "Sure."

While they went upstairs, Lunette really tried hard to hide her anxiety 'Oh my God! What am I going to do?! I… I didn't even think of what to say yet! Oh, please, please, please, don't ruin this right now, Lunette!' she mentally struggles.

When they entered her room, she closes the door and Danny starts saying, though finding it hard to find the words, "Listen, Lunette… I came here because, well…"

Lunette's mind went into total panic mode, though trying hard to hide it.

"After… what happened back at the bowling alley and you…" Danny felt a bit awkward to ask, so instead he says, "Well… I was beginning to get worried about you and… thinking that you… didn't wanted to hang out with me anymore." Danny said with a bit of sadness.

Lunette gasps when Danny said that and heavily shook her head "No, Danny! No, no, no, that's not it at all! In fact, I love to spend time with you! It's just…" Lunette sighs deep, not knowing what to say right now "When I…" she blushed really deep "kissed you on the cheek… I kinda…"

Danny raised his hands and awkwardly chuckles "Hey, I get it. It maybe… strange to give a friend a kiss like that, I understand. You just… wanted to be there for me because nobody would believe us and now all of Amity Park…" he then whispers, "made me public ghost enemy number 1."

That made Lunette chuckle while she blushes "Yeah… that's it…! Strange… hehehehe."

Both awkwardly chuckle while looking away for a moment, trying to hide their blush.

"So… are we… still okay?" Danny asks.

Lunette nods "Yeah… sure! I just…" she tried to think of an excuse "… had a lot going on in my mind and… I thought…"

"Hey, hey, I get it." Danny ensures her while holding her hands "And don't worry, I… despite you kissed me on the cheek, I… still want to hang out with you."

Lunette blushed deep red as a small smile forms on her face.

Realizing he was holding her hands, he quickly let her go "Oh. Sorry."

"No, no, it's okay." she ensures.

A bit of an awkward silence fell beneath them.

Danny then asks her, "So uhm… I was wandering if you…"

"Yes?"

"Wanted to go to Floody Water with me and the others tomorrow?"

Lunette blinks her eyes in surprise. But after thinking, she smiles and nods "Uhm… sure. I would love to go with you to the waterpark tomorrow." She then shrugs "I wasn't really planning on doing anything special tomorrow anyway. Hehehehe."

"Okay…!" Danny smiles "Great…!"

"Yeah…"

"So, I'll… pick you up or…?"

Lunette blushes deep red again before she ensures him "Oh, don't worry. I'll just… meet you, Tucker and Sam at the waterpark."

"Okay…! I'll see you then at 12 PM?"

"Sure."

"Great!" Danny said with a smile.

Lunette gave a nod "Yeah…"

"So… see you tomorrow?"

Lunette nods again and says, "Let me… walk you out." And both left her room

At the front door, before Danny was about to leave, he tells her before opening the door, "You know, Lun…" Danny tried to say something nice to her "Your… hair looks really nice that way."

That made Lunette blush "Oh, you… like when I'm letting my hair down like that?"

Danny nods "Yeah, it… looks really, really nice on you." he then opens the door "Well, I… better go home. See you tomorrow!" and began to leave.

Lunette just watched Danny leave, before transforming into his ghost form and flew away. A small smile grew on her face while stroking her partly wet hair while she blushes.

The next day, at Floody Waters…

At the entrance of Floody Waters waterpark, many people were standing in line to get into the waterpark.

In the middle of the line, Danny was standing with Sam, Tucker and Lunette.

Lunette wipes away the sweat from her forehead "Pfew! It sure is a warm day to go to the waterpark. Thanks for inviting me over."

"It's no problem at all, Lun." Danny said.

While Tucker just smiles, being proud of Danny to take the initiative to ask out the girl he likes, Sam was frowning at her, being jealous.

"Yeah. It's… no problem, Lunette." Sam says with a bit of venom and sarcasm in her voice, though forcing herself to smile in order to hide it.

After paying for their tickets, they all took a separate changing room. When Danny came out, wearing a blue-white swim trunks and a white shirt, he saw Lunette exiting hers first, showing she's wearing a yellow bikini and had her hair down.

Blushing while feeling a bit embarrassed, Lunette tells Danny while looking at her swimsuit "I… look ridiculous, am I?"

But Danny shook his head "Oh, no, no, no, not at all, Lunette! In fact… I think you look really pretty."

"Oh…!" Lunette forms a small smile while putting a piece of her hair behind her ear, feeling a bit shy "…Thank you."

Sam, who'd come out of her changing room and was wearing a normal bathing suit and a black robe and a big black hat, saw Danny and Lunette 'talking', though in her head it looks more like they're 'flirting'. Seeing them like that made Sam grind her teeth.

"You okay, Sam?" Tucker asks as he gets out of his changing room while wearing a swim trunk and holding a ducky swim ring, having noticed Sam's angry look.

Sam quickly hides it by saying, "Sure, I'm okay! I mean… just look how happy Danny is with… her…!" she forces a smile on herself while her eye twitches. "I'm just gonna… stand somewhere else to get out of the sun!" she made a quick excuse as she didn't want to see Danny with Lunette being all flirty. When she was out of sight, Sam had the urge to rip out her hair as how frustrated she is 'That… that fucking bitch!

Though Tucker found it weird that Sam left them, he shrugs and joins Danny and Lunette.

Confused, Lunette asks Tucker when seeing him holding a swim ring and water wings, "Uhm… why are you wearing that, Tucker?"

Tucker shrugs and tells her with honesty "I can't swim. I was scared of water when I was little, so I never took swimming lessons."

"Oh." She says though forming a face of understanding "And now?"

"Now," Tucker says before watching a few beautiful teen girls walking "I'm here for the ladies and having the chance of getting some 'mouth to mouth'." He forms a sly smirk before he uses a mouth spray.

Lunette felt a bit weirded out by that "Uhm… right…"

Danny took her hand and said, "Nah. Don't mind Tucker. Let's go and have some fun around here."

Lunette smiles "Yeah… we should." And both ran to the nearest attraction to go into.

Tucker, who was too much distracted by the few very attractive ladies in the park, notices Danny and Lunette had left without him, causing him to run after them "Hey, guys, wait for me!"

As the hours pass, Danny, Lunette and Tucker had a good time at the waterpark. After having gone on some rides, Danny and Lunette swim in a pool while Tucker was trying his 'luck' to flirt with the ladies, which unfortunately failed every time.

From afar, Sam was watching Danny and Lunette splashing each other for fun while they laugh. Sam grinds her teeth out of jealousy and walks away, hating every minute that Lunette is spending with Danny while it should be with her.

Back in the pool, Lunette dived in the water with Danny going after her. As they swam close to each other, Danny and Lunette stop and look into each other's eyes while forming a small smile. But as they realized they were running out of air, they quickly submerged and gasp for air.

"You uhm…" Danny tried to say, "are a very good swimmer, Lunette."

"Thanks…" Lunette says while she blushes and looks away "You're… a good swimmer too."

They were interrupted by a mocking laughter coming from no other than Mila Cross. Danny and Lunette look at her who gave them a mocking smirk.

"Hahahaha! Would you look at that; two nerdy lovebirds swimming in the pool together. How sweet." Mila says, still mocking the both of them, "Seriously, Kaye. And here I thought you would be doing better than dating that Fenton loser."

Danny looks for a moment in shock. "What?! Me and… Oh, trust me we're not-"

But Lunette interrupted them by telling Mila "Don't you have better things to do then bothering me, Mila? Like keeping an eye on your boyfriend?" she mocks her back while pointing where Dash is.

Mila looks, spotting her boyfriend Dash flirting with a 15-year-old blond girl who was giggling. Mila looks angry and marches to Dash, having a serious word with him daring to flirt with other girls instead with her.

Lunette gave Mila a nasty look while telling Danny "Why can't she just go and bother someone else instead?"

Danny shrugs "Well, at least she's now too busy 're-educating' Dash."

"Yeah. Not like she'll be more successful tutoring him than your sister." Lunette adds.

The both of them chuckle.

Just then, Danny's ghost sense went off, making him frown while looking around. "Not good. We got company."

Lunette looks around too but didn't see anything.

Then, Johnny 13's shadow appears, towering over the people, scaring them.

"Wait. Is that not Johnny 13's shadow?" Lunette asks.

"It is!" Danny said before getting out of the pool fast "I gotta find a place to go ghost."

Lunette ensured him while she got out of the pool too "Okay. But be careful."

Danny nods "I will."

Danny eventually found a place to transform into his ghost form, after being pushed out by Star and Paulina when Danny accidentally entered the ladies room.

While Danny tried to figure out why Johnny 13's shadow was attacking the waterpark, Shadow answered with violence, forcing Danny to fight back. However, after being able to defeat Shadow by being swallowed into the sewers, he was discovered transforming into his human form by no other than his former crush… Paulina

When Lunette spots Danny going over them, she says with relief, "Danny! You managed to find out why Johnny 13's shadow was attacking the waterpark?"

Danny shook his head while showing an expression of panic "No, but we got bigger problems."

"What problems?" Sam asks before glaring at Lunette.

"If you're talking about that the press calls you 'Inviso Bill', I understand that you clearly need a publicist, dude," then he flirty smiles to Star who walks by them "And you need mouth-to-mouth."

"Dream on, loser." Star says back unimpressed.

"It's worse than that!" Danny calls.

"What do you mean?" Lunette asks concerned.

"Paulina saw me transforming! She knows I'm half-ghost!"

Hearing that from Danny, made Sam frown "Paulina. I just had a nasty run in with her in the bathroom. She and Mila Cross are the rudest-"

"Danny!" Paulina calls happily to him, interrupting Sam "Sam! Lunette! Whatever your name is." She says to Tucker, not remembering his name "Hi!" she says to Danny in a flirty way.

Sam quickly got in between her and Danny, protecting him from Paulina "Listen you, I don't know what you think you saw, but if you do or say anything to hurt Danny…!"

"Oh, don't get your batwings in a bundle," Paulina says unimpressed before saying flirty to Danny, "Danny, why did you run? I know it freaked you out that I discovered your secret but, I won't tell."

"Really?" Danny asks confused.

Lunette however didn't trust her and demands "Oh, please. Why should any of us trust you?"

"You can trust me because…" Paulina explains while leaning closer to Danny in a flirty way, "It's my secret now, too. Which makes it… our secret."

Feeling now even more disgusted and angry, Sam walks away "Excuse me while I find a nice dark place to throw up."

As soon as Sam was away from the others, her fury exploded and punches a nearby garbage can "GGGRRRAAAAAAGH! First that bitch Lunette and now PAULINA?!" she was so angry that she even threw away her black hat and teared up her batwings.

After telling Danny that him having ghost powers is 'hot', Paulina says her goodbyes to Danny "Seeya… cutie!"

Danny was baffled, not expecting this to happen "Wow… Paulina thinks I'm hot." this made him form a smile.

Lunette however looks sad as she thinks that Danny is maybe more interested in Paulina then in her "I… think I want to go home…" and walks away in a sad state.

Danny just looks at her confused as she was leaving "Was it something that I said?" he asks Tucker.

Tucker shrugs.

Along the way back to the women's changing rooms, Lunette gave a sob, feeling herself stupid to think Danny would be interested in her "I'm such an idiot…!" but as she took her bag, she notices Paulina nearby, clearly trying to find her own bag, making Lunette look at her with a confused look.

Then, in a split second, she notices Paulina's arm was getting 'intangible' and searches inside the lockers. Lunette gasps and hides behind some lockers while observing Paulina's strange behavior.

Paulina then took her supposedly bag with her clothes before her arm and bag became tangible again.

"Paulina can't make her arm intangible…" Lunette whispered to herself "Only Danny and other ghosts can do that." She watches Paulina entering a private changing room before peeking out with a mischievous smirk as her eyes glow green for a second before turning back to normal and closes the door.

Lunette frowns with suspicion, determined to find out the truth "I don't know what's going on here, but I'm gonna find out no matter what."

A few days later…

As the days went by, Lunette kept a close eye on Paulina and Danny. Though everyone thought they were dating now, much to everyone's surprise and shock especially for the A-Listers and Mila Cross, Lunette could feel that something was off, especially with Johnny 13's shadow appearing now more than ever.

On Friday afternoon, while Danny and Paulina had a romantic picknick together in the park, Lunette was hiding in the bushes while using a binocular to look for anything suspicious about Paulina.

When Lunette saw Paulina's eyes glow green for a moment while Danny in his ghost form battles the Box-ghost, she wrote it down on a notepad "Eyes glowing green for a split second." Things started to get in place as she analyzed everything in her head while looking through all her written observations on her notepad "Can make her arm intangible. Doesn't remember her parents. Not remembering her exact address. Not even performing well during cheerleader training…" Lunette gasps when she realized what was going on "That's it! Paulina is possessed by a ghost!" she then frowns while staring at a possessed-Paulina "And I may have an idea who it could be… Kitty."

"What's you doing?" a sudden voice asks Lunette from behind.

"AAAH!" Lunette shockingly yells when seeing it was Danuta that was standing behind her "Danu! You… scared me."

Danuta raised an eyebrow at her best friend as she was spying on Danny and Paulina "Why are you spying on Danny and Paulina?"

"I…" Lunette started to sweat because of her nervousness, not wanting to expose Danny's secret identity "I… I was just… well…!"

"Are you jealous, Lun?" Danuta guessed.

"What?! No, I'm not jealous! I'm just…" Lunette looks back at them through her binoculars "concerned."

Danuta sat next to her in the bushes "Concerned?"

Lunette came up with a quick excuse "Yeah… that… being sure that 'Paulina' really likes Danny and not uses him for a cruel prank or anything."

Danuta forms a grin on her face "Sounds like you're jealous, alright."

"I'm not!" Lunette protested while glaring back at her best friend "You just don't understand."

"Lun, you don't have to deny it. If you're really in love with Danny, then why don't you go and tell him?"

"It's…!" Lunette sighs in defeat before looking back at Danuta "It's not that simple, Danu…! What if I do say that I like him but doesn't feel the same about me? It would ruin our friendship!" she says in panic.

"But if you don't, you might lose him to Paulina." Danuta advices her.

That made Lunette frown angrily. She looks back with her binoculars, seeing that Danny and possessed-Paulina are gone. Determined, she says in her mind, 'I don't know what you're planning with Danny, Kitty. But tonight, I'm putting an end to it!'

Without looking at Danuta, Lunette gathered her things and left "I'll talk to you later, Danu."

Danuta watched her going, forming a proudly smile to see how much Lunette is changing and coming out of her shell, even noticing from the outside as she now lets her hair down instead of always putting it in a ponytail, which she figures is to impress Danny.

That evening at the bowling alley…

Lunette kept a close eye on Danny and Paulina while playing bowling. While Paulina performed a bit badly, with her missing the pins many times, Danny secretly transformed into his ghost form and helps his girlfriend scoring a strike while staying invisible.

Seeing Paulina giving Danny a kiss on the cheek made Lunette boil with anger "Why you lying manipulative piece of…!" she then gasps, shocked that she was acting this way "Oh my God…! I think I am jealous."

When she saw Danny and Paulina leaving, Lunette follows them from a distance.

From around the corner, she saw them together. Lunette opens her bag and takes out the Fenton Ghost Fisher and the Fenton Thermos which she attached to her belt, ready to capture Kitty and expose she's been using Danny from the start.

Kitty, in Paulina's body, asks Danny with a flirty smile, "If you like me, kiss me…" she moves her lips closer to Danny, wanting him to kiss her.

Lunette glares at Kitty while raising the Fenton Ghost Fisher, ready to cast it out and capture Kitty. But strangely, she notices that Danny wasn't going to kiss her back, like he was having second thoughts about this.

Confused, Paulina asks him, "What's wrong? Don't you want to kiss me?"

Danny was feeling a mixture of confusion and regret, feeling that this wasn't right and deep-down likes Lunette more than Paulina. He sighs with some sadness while letting go of her hands "I'm sorry, Paulina, but… I can't."

Lunette gasps in shock.

Paulina however raised an eyebrow "Why?" before she frowns at him "Didn't you always wanted to kiss me? Don't you want to be together?"

Danny shook his head "It's…" Danny looks away "I hate to say this but…" he then looks back at her "I'm in lo-"

Just as Danny was about to finish his line, a roaring sound from a motorcycle approaches them, spotting it is Johnny 13 looking very pissed.

"Listen, punk, you stay away from my girlfriend, dig?" Johnny 13 seriously warns Danny.

Paulina glares back at Johnny 13 before turning into Kitty's voice "Beat it, Johnny!" and left Paulina's body, confirming Lunette's suspicion that Kitty had been possessing Paulina all this time "I'm Danny's girl now."

Lunette gasps while Danny shockingly caught the real (now unconscious) Paulina in his arms.

"AHA!" Lunette yells and jumps out of hiding with a victorious smile "I KNEW IT! Paulina was possessed by Kitty all along!" but upon realizing that she'd just exposed herself, she cursed herself, "Ah, dang it."

Confused and shocked, Danny looks at the two ghosts and Paulina "Kitty? Johnny 13? Paulina?!"

"Whoops." Kitty says before she flew and wanted to return into Paulina's body but was suddenly wrapped into the glowing cord of the Fenton Ghost Fisher.

"I don't think so!" Lunette calls before throwing her on the ground!

Johnny 13 glares at Lunette for daring to hurt his girlfriend "You?! You'll pay for that, bitch!" he whistled his Shadow and orders him "Shadow, attack!"

Shadow lunges at Lunette and captures her before she could use the Fenton Thermos, taking her far up in the air!

Lunette struggled to get loose "Let me go!"

Seeing her in danger, Danny's protective instinct kicks in and yells "Going ghost!" and transforms into Danny Phantom while dropping a still unconscious Paulina and flew after Shadow to safe Lunette.

While Lunette continued to struggle, Shadow holds her up, ready to teach her some lessons as he raised his clawed hand. But then looks surprised when Lunette holds the Fenton Thermos in front of him.

"Eat Thermos!" Lunette yells before capturing Shadow into the Thermos but realizes too late that he'd flew her up far too high and fell down fast "AAAAAAAAH!"

But Danny caught her just in time "I got you!"

Lunette blinks while Danny holds her in his arms. The both of them form a dreamy smile "Hi…"

"Hey…"

But both quickly got out of their dreamy stare and glare down at Johnny 13 who was trying to untie Kitty from the Fenton Ghost Fisher's line.

"C'mon, Kitty! Quit wigging out and come back to me. I'll be good." Johnny begs her, clearly showing that they'd seemingly broken up.

"Forget it, lowlife." Kitty looks away, not wanting anything to do with Johnny after what he did.

When Danny and Lunette appear, she aims the Fenton Thermos at them "Okay! Time to take this conversation elsewhere!" and unleashes the blue stream on them, capturing them both in the Thermos.

As Lunette closed the thermos, Danny thanks her as he transforms back into his human form "Thanks for the saving, Lun."

"Well…" Lunette said with a small smile "…I think you're the one who'd just saved me from Johnny 13's shadow, so…"

At that moment, Paulina began to regain consciousness and slowly got up while rubbing her head "Uhh… Where am I?"

Wandering if she still remembered anything, Danny asks her, "Hey, Paulina?"

Paulina looks at him while narrowing her eyes "What do you want?"

"Do you… remember anything that has happened the past week by any chance?"

Paulina gave a look of confusion before she frowns at him "Like I would ever tell you? And why are you even talking to me like we've been dating or something?" she walks off, ignoring him and Lunette.

Seeing that Paulina definitely didn't remember him being The Ghost-Boy, was a lot of relief for Danny "Pfew! Looks like my secret identity is safe."

"Looks like it." Lunette says.

Then Danny wanders and asks her, "You knew that Kitty was possessing Paulina?"

"I had my suspicions after what happened at the waterpark last week," Lunette states "So… I've been kinda following you to be for sure if Kitty was possessing her… and keep you safe just in case."

"Well, anyway… thanks." Danny thanks her.

"You're welcome." She says while she blushes. "You uhm… not mad that I have been spying on you?" she asks while hoping that he'll take it well.

"Honestly, though it feels kinda weird… I'm glad that it was you and nobody else."

That made Lunette smile with relief. Then she looks at the Thermos while narrowing her eyes "I guess we should first get to the bottom with these two ghosts."

"Good plan." Danny agreed "Let's get them to my parents' lab." He transforms into his ghost form and takes Lunette in his arms "Hold tight." And flew away with her.

The whole flight, Lunette felt she was in heaven as she was carried by the boy she likes, praying it would never end.

Later, in the basement lab of Fenton Works…

Having put Kitty and Johnny 13 in an anti-ghost cage (which was a big green-glowing box which is reinforced with an experimental ecto-plasmic energy field, preventing ghosts from escaping), called the Fenton Ghost Box, which Jack and Maddie had made in case they would ever capture a ghost and plan to do some experiments on them. However, in this case, Danny and Lunette use it to keep Johnny 13 and Kitty from causing any chaos and began to interrogate them.

"Alright, Johnny and Kitty!" Danny says with his arms folded, clearly not playing around anymore "What the heck is going on here and why were you possessing Paulina?" He asks Kitty.

Kitty, trying to apologize, states, "Look, Danny. I didn't want to cause you any trouble."

"Well, you're about a week too late. What's the story?"

Johnny started by telling, "Everything started a week back when I managed to modify my bike to come back here to the human world."

"And how the hell did you manage to do that without going through the Fenton-Portal first?" Lunette asks.

Kitty folds her arms as she tells "Well, Johnny stole some gear from Danny's dad last time we came here, with one of them being a device to create a portal."

"So now you're able to get in and out of the Ghost-Zone whenever you want?" Danny asks Johnny before getting angry "That's not what we had agreed on the last time when you two were in the human world."

Lunette nods "Yeah. If either of you wanted to come back into the human world and hang out, you could've just asked?"

"And how were I supposed to do that, huh?" Johnny 13 asks while narrowing his eyes "We don't really have cellphones in the Ghost-Zone to call you guys to ask."

Seeing Johnny had a point, made Danny realize they'd forgotten about that "Touché."

"But that still doesn't explain why you were possessing Paulina and try to hook up with Danny-" Lunette says, before she gasps and realize what was going on "Wait a minute. I get it now! You were just using Danny by overshadowing Paulina's body in order to make Johnny jealous."

Kitty felt awkward while Johnny forms a smirk at her "Ha! So you secretly still liked me, huh? I knew it!" he says.

Kitty looks away in disgust "Ugh! Fine! I was trying to teach you a lesson because you preferred to watch other beautiful girls than me!"

"Aw, c'mon, kitten!" Johnny nags, begging her to forgive him "I'm sorry that I did that, alright? I won't do it again."

Kitty, despite she still likes Johnny very much, kept looking away as he'd broken that promise a million times before.

Danny and Lunette exchanged a glance, with Lunette whispering to him, "I think we should help them with their little 'relationship problem'."

"But how are we supposed to do that?" Danny whispers back.

She holds his hand "I… don't know if it'll work. But… do you trust me?"

Danny nods "Sure I do."

Lunette gave a long sigh "Okay…" she turns back to Johnny 13 and Kitty, telling them "Alright, clearly the both of you are on edge. But can we all at least try to be civilized and talk this through peacefully?"

Kitty and Johnny 13 exchanged a glance, with Johnny giving a shrug "Fine."

And as the hours passed, Danny and Lunette tried to talk things out with Johnny 13 and Kitty, trying to find the source of their relationship problem.

They started, with them approaching the issue calm and peacefully, Danny and Kitty ask Johnny 13 and Kitty questions how things had been going ever since the last time they came 'visiting' the human world. Eventually, as they had eased up, Johnny 13 and Kitty began to tell what was bothering in their relationship so much, with Kitty feeling unappreciated by her boyfriend while Johnny states he feels being neglected despite his attempts to make Kitty happy.

It took some time for Lunette and Danny to get them on one line, but after several attempts, both Johnny 13 and Kitty began to realize that they were both to blame for their problems in their relationship.

Kitty and Johnny 13, both sitting on the floor while looking at each other with a mixture of feeling sorry and understanding.

"Maybe… we both went a bit off, huh?" Johnny asks her while scratching his head.

Kitty nods "Yeah… I was so busy with my own needs that I… stopped carrying about your feelings."

"And I didn't gave you the attention you deserve." Johnny says while holding her hand "Can we maybe… start over? Not that fast but rather… take things slow and steady, like what Danny just proposes?"

Kitty forms a small smile "Yeah… I think… I'm willing to try."

Danny and Lunette exchanged a smile, seeing that Lunette's idea of having a little group therapy session had actually worked.

As Kitty and Johnny stood up, Kitty gave Johnny a final warning, "But no more peeking at other girls!"

"Alright, if you promise that you'll appreciate me a little more for putting some effort into our relationship." Johnny adds.

"Well, glad that that's settled," Danny said before asking Johnny 13 with a bit of serious face "And the device?"

Johnny 13 looks confused before he frowns "What? How are we supposed to get to the human world?"

"I'll figure something out for you guys, but in the meantime, to regain our trust, you give back the device you stole from my dad." Danny states.

Johnny 13 groans with annoyance "Ugh! Fine." He snaps his fingers and makes his motorcycle appear in the lab.

Danny walks over to the bike and rips off his father's invention from the handlebar. After that, Lunette presses a button on a remote, freeing Johnny and Kitty from the Fenton Ghost-Box.

After Johnny 13 and Kitty both got on his motorcycle, Johnny tells them "Well, guess me and Kitty have a lot to talk about back home."

Kitty gives a nod and embraces Johnny, making him smile before accelerating, racing into the portal going back into the Ghost-Zone together.

When Danny closes the portal, he gives long sigh "Wow… What a night."

Lunette joins him "Yeah. But at least we got Johnny 13 and Kitty back together and saved you from being stuck in a love rectangle."

Danny chuckles "Yeah. Thank God for that!" he then got honest with Lunette and tells her, "You know… despite it was a bit of fun being with Paulina, it just… I don't know, didn't feel right."

Lunette gave him a smile in understanding "Yeah. I began to notice it when you and Kitty were alone at the back of the bowling alley. But I wander, what was it that you were going to tell her after declining her kiss?"

That made Danny blush deep red "Oh, uhm…! I… uuhhh…!"

Lunette then ensured him with a small smile "It's okay. You don't need to tell me yet if you're not ready."

This gave Danny some relief, though he was also thinking deep what he thought when refusing Paulina's first kiss, which was technically Kitty's first kiss, that maybe… he too likes Lunette more than just a friend.

When Lunette checks her watch, she saw it's 11:20 P.M., shocking her "It's that late?! Oh my God, my parents are gonna kill me!"

She rushes to gather her stuff and was about to go up the stairs, but Danny held her arm "Hey, if it's okay, I can bring you home. You know? Me using my ghost powers?" he offers her.

Seeing his point of view, Lunette forms a smile while she blushes as this means she can be held in his arms again "Uhm… yeah. I would love that."

Danny holds her in his arms bridal style before transforming into his ghost form, made each other intangible and both flew up, phasing through the ceiling out of the lab.

Jack, then appears in the lab "Is someone down here?!" he calls with a ghost-blaster in hand "Is there a spooky ghost down here?!" he calls while aiming everywhere around him.

But seeing nobody was here, Jack narrows his eyes while lowering his blaster.

"Huh. I could've sworn I heard something down here." He suspiciously says while looking around. That was when Jack notices the portable portal-component on his desk, making him smile "Hey. It's the portable Fenton-Portal Creator. I was wandering where that thing went." He puts it in his pocket "Thankfully I finally found it," he then narrows his eyes "it's not safe in the wrong hands, especially not in the hands of ghosts." He then proudly walks out of the lab.

A couple of days later, at Casper High School…

On this Monday morning, Paulina was preparing herself for another normal day at school. Strangely she couldn't remember anything what she did last week and was even more confused as people were claiming that she was dating Danny Fenton for a while. But she left it out of her mind as she can easily make people 'forget' about all of that and make things go back to normal.

However, as she started her day at school, the other A-Listers have been acting 'differently' towards her for some reason, with none of them even answering her texts or phone calls, even giving her a cold shoulder.

At that time, when the bell rang and it was lunch time, Paulina asks her only friend that hasn't been ignoring her today, Star, "Hey, girl. Why is everyone giving me a cold shoulder all of the sudden?"

Star looks at her confused "Well… you did dated Danny Fenton for almost a week."

Paulina frowns at her "How many times do I have to say this? Me and Danny Fenton are NOT dating! Period!" and left for the cafeteria.

Star worriedly follows her "Paulina, wait!"

Paulina took her food, consisting of a salad and a bottle of water as she walks to her regular table with the A-Listers and sat at her usual spot.

But as Paulina looks, she saw that everyone, except for Kwan and Star were all glaring at her.

"What? Why are you all looking at me like that?" Paulina asks confused and a bit worried.

Mila was the first to break the silence and asks her while folding her arms, "What do you think you're doing?"

"Just eating my lunch together with my friends."

"You can't eat here, Paulina."

That shocks the Latino girl, which earns the attention of every student present. Even Danny, Sam, Tucker, Lunette and Danuta, who were sitting at the same table together, also look surprised as they saw and heard what was happening at the 'A-Listers table'.

"What do you mean I can't eat here?" Paulina protests as she rose up "Don't you guys forget that I am the number 1 girl of the A-Listers."

"Not anymore, Latino-loser," Mila says with a grin.

Paulina gasps in shock before she frowns at her "What did you just called me?"

Mila shrugs while she smirks "You heard me. Any A-Lister that dates someone below their level, is automatically a loser too. And you, Paulina Sanchez, just threw all of your fame at Casper High through the window the moment you started dating Danny Fentoast."

"But… but-but-but…" Paulina stuttered, being shocked that Mila and the others were removing her from the A-Listers group.

Mila mockingly mimics her words "But-but-but, but what, Paulina? That you realized that you suit better with the low-class students than being part of most popular and gorgeous kids in school? Guess all the 'makeup' and 'keeping your body in good shape' has been all to nothing, hasn't it?"

Paulina shook her head, trying to explain "Please, you can't kick me out of the A-Listers! I-I-I swear, I don't even remember that I ever dated Danny Fenton!"

"Then I guess your brain has dropped to an all-time low IQ, I guess. Suitable for a loser such as you." Mila says with a mocking grin before she snaps her fingers, ordering Dash and Dale, "Boys, it's time to take out 'the trash'."

Dash and Dale rose up and grabbed Paulina by her arms and drag her out of the cafeteria.

"No, wait! STOP! Dash! Dale! I don't… NOOOO!" Paulina begs.

Valerie, who'd just came back at school after her little secret 'task to capture a ghost', spots Paulina being dragged out of the cafeteria by Dale and Dash while the other A-Listers follow. Valerie gasps what she saw "What in the world…?" Valerie ran, meeting with Danny, Tucker and Lunette "What's going on?"

"Something bad, I'm telling you." Danny says as they tried to follow the A-Listers, but their way was blocked by a group of Jocks, looking fierce.

"And where do you think you're going, losers?" one of them asks while folding his arms, while the other cracks his knuckles, ready to punch them if they tried to intervene with what they're about to do to Paulina.

Danny knew he couldn't go ghost with Valerie around. Lunette pulls his arm and whispers to him "Follow me. I know a short cut." And both ran into a different hallway with Valerie and Tucker following them.

The jocks laughed at them "Hahahaha! Yeah, you better run, nerds!" he and his 'buddy' did a high five.

Lunette led them upstairs till they reached an emergency exit, which had another pair of stairs leading down.

When they made it down and opened the door to outside, they spotted Paulina being thrown against some dumpsters, hurting her.

Paulina looks frightened while Mila says with a satisfying evil smirk, looking down on her, "Guess what, Paulina? There's a new Queen B sitting on the throne. And that's moi."

Paulina's fears had come true. Mila has now truly become the new leader of the A-Listers, showing that no one of their group accepted her anymore as their leader and wouldn't even come to defend her.

Mila then frowns at her "And why are you wearing those expensive clothes? Losers like you are not cool enough to wear those." Dash and Dale pick Paulina up and pin her against a dumpster as Mila grabs Paulina's shirt by the collar "Outsiders like you, Latino-loser, only wear disgusting secondhand clothes!" and rips apart Paulina's pink shirt!

"Nooo!" Paulina yelps as her favorite shirt was torn down, exposing her wearing nothing but her bra.

Star gasps in shock what Mila was doing to Paulina.

"And losers only put mud on their faces for makeup." Mila added while grabbing some mud from the ground and forcefully smears it in Paulina's face.

"Please… stop…!" Paulina begs while tears form in her eyes.

"Stop?" Mila asks with a raised eyebrow before evilly laughing "Hahahaha! I'm just getting started."

Kwan, Star, Ashley and Brittney both exchanged a shocked expression how far Mila was going.

"Dash…!" Kwan tried to say "Maybe you guys should-"

"Shut up, Kwan!"

Mila then took out some scissors while she evilly smirks "Get her on her knees." Mila orders her pets.

Valerie, Danny and Tucker watch in shock what Mila was doing to Paulina, while Lunette, though also very shocked what was happening, didn't wasted this moment to take some pictures of the whole thing.

Paulina begs Mila as she grabs her hair tight "Aaah! No… Mila, please! Anything but that! PLEASE!"

Mila, feeling no regret of what she's about to do, says, "Losers like you… don't earn to have such beautiful hair. Time for a FINAL makeover, princess."

Mila then began cutting off all of Paulina's long hair while she shrieks and tears fell from her eyes "NOOO! NOOOOOO! AAAAAAAAAH!"

Valerie watches with horror while holding her hands on her mouth. Danny meanwhile glares at what those heartless A-Listers did to Paulina, making his eyes glow green. Making up a quick excuse, he left while saying "I'm going to get help!"

Tucker and Lunette knew what Danny meant by that, while Valerie just helplessly kept watching.

"Going ghost!" Danny yells as soon as he was out of sight and transforms into Danny Phantom, going intangible and flew out of the school.

Meanwhile, Star shook her head while she too got teary, no longer being able to watch while her best friend was being subdued to something as this "Mila… please, stop!"

Mila angrily points the scissors at Star "Shut up! Or you're going to have a final haircut too, Star!"

"HEY!" Danny Phantom shouts while floating above them. All the A-Listers look up in surprise, spotting The Ghost-Boy very angry with his arms fold "Why don't you guys pick on someone who fights back?" he demands while landing in front of them.

Dale immediately released Paulina while stepping backwards in fear "It's the Ghost-Boy! Inviso Bill!"

Mia however glares at Danny Phantom, clearly hiding her inner fears while holding pointing the scissors at him "Get lost, ghost-freak. This doesn't concern you."

"Well, it is now," Danny angrily says while raising his hand and fires a ghost ray at her, blasting the scissors from her hands!

"OW!" Mila screams as the blast had burned her hand "You hurt me." She glares at her boyfriend "Dash! Get him!"

Dash however looks with fear at Danny, clearly being too scared to take on the ghost boy.

"What are you waiting for?! Get him already!"

Suddenly there was another blast that hit Danny from behind, sending him flying away and hit a nearby car!

Danny groans while he looks, seeing in shock Valerie on her flying board while wearing her Red Huntress suit.

She aims her anti-ghost shotgun at him "You and I have unfinished business, ghost!"

The other A-listers including Mila quickly ran away while screaming, leaving a hurtful Paulina behind, who sat there and watched what happened.

Danny frowns at Valerie "Seriously? I was trying to help Pau… I mean; This poor girl from being bullied!" he quickly corrected his words.

"Your actions the past few weeks prove otherwise, ghost," Valerie says, not believing him as she clearly believes what the papers say about him after the whole Walker ghost invasion "Time to put you out of your misery-" but suddenly one of the small engines of her hoverboard was hit hard by a small rock, causing it to malfunction "What the-" the flying board then blasted off far into the air, going fast in circles before it disappears in the distance "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Danny looks to his left, seeing it was Lunette that had thrown the rock. Danny smiles at her, with her giving him a wink.

Danny flew over to Paulina, who wept while covering herself. "Are you okay?"

Paulina shook her head while sobbing "No…!" she looks back at him, with Danny seeing that Mila had cut a big portion of her long hair.

Danny quickly got a nearby blanket and covered Paulina with it.

"How… how could they do this to me…? After everything we've been through…?" Paulina weeps before she embraces the ghost boy and cries on his shoulder.

Danny hugs her back to comfort her.

When Lunette and Tucker arrived, Danny tells them, "You take care of her, okay?"

Lunette nods "Sure, Ghost-boy."

As Danny floats back up, ready to leave, Paulina tells him with teary eyes, "Hey! Thanks for… saving me, Inviso Bill. You… you're not evil as what the news says. You're a hero." She finishes with a smile.

Danny shrugs "You're welcome." And flies away, before turning invisible and flies back into the school and transforms back into his human form.

Lunette them comforts Paulina as she kept crying "It's okay, Paulina… It's over now."

"How could things get any worse?!" Paulina cries "Why would they do this to me? I… I thought they were my friends…?"

"No, Paulina. They never were." Lunette says.

Not long after, Danny, now in his human form, came back together with several teachers including Mr. Lancer. They all ran over to them.

When Lancer saw Paulina in this bad state, his gasps in shock "My dear God! Miss Paulina, what happened?!" he asks while quickly going over to her.

The other teachers too were in total shock, with Miss Tetslaff saying to a few teachers "Somebody call Principal Ishiyama!"

They nodded and headed back inside the school to call the principal.

Lunette tells Lancer with a determined and serious face, "I'll tell you what happened, Mr. Lancer. Mila did this, along with Dash and Dale."

Lancer looks completely surprised before he frowns "What?! Why would Miss Cross and Mr. Baxter do such a horrible thing?!"

"You don't believe me?" Lunette asks, still looking very fierce and serious while taking out her camera "I can prove it. Everything!"

Lancer and Tetslaff exchanged a glance before Lancer asks Lunette with a bit of seriousness, "Miss Kaye, I need you and Mr. Foley to tell me everything that has happened."

Not long after in the principal's office…

The Asian American school principal, shocked to the core and pissed after learning the truth that Mila and her gang of minions did to Paulina, not to mention the amount of evidence that Lunette had gathered of Dash and his friends picking on other children in the school, sat with Lunette's digital camera that shows the pictures Mila forcefully cut Paulina's hair, of Dash beating the hell out of a nerd student or Dale forcefully stuffs students in the janitor's room, locking them out all day long, or the pile of other taken pictures Lunette had taken the past few months, proving that the A-Listers under Dash and Mila had done nothing but harm to the other weaker students.

"This is completely unacceptable!" Ishiyama yells as she rose from her chair and stares angrily at Lancer's face "And you're telling me that this THING has been happening in my school for… how long?!"

"Longer than you may think, Mrs. Principal," Lunette states, with Danny, Tucker and Valerie being present in the office too.

Ishiyama then tells Lancer with an angry face, "I want Miss Cross, Mr. Baxter and Mr. Dale in my office, right now!"

Lancer nods "Yes, Mrs. Principal." And left to get the three A-Listers right away while he too was very angry that his most promising students had been the bad ones all along.

Ishiyama then tells Lunette as she gave her camera back, "That was a brave thing you did, Miss Kaye. You did the right thing by showing me all of this." she then turns to Danny, Tucker and Valerie "But I don't understand why none of you has ever come to me in the first place and told me about this, or at least tell Mr. Lancer or any of the other teachers?"

"We've tried, Mrs. Ishiyama!" Tucker explains "But every time when we tried to come out… Dash and his friends were always there too… you know, kick our asses." He states while feeling unease.

Principal Ishiyama couldn't believe this. All these years she had thought that she was a perfect principal at the perfect high school, only showing how blind she was and how miserable her students have been all this time.

She then says very determined as she walks over to her desk and takes her phone "Well, children, this thing stops today! You have my word." She then dialed in the number of Paulina's father "You can go now."

As the three of them walked out of the principal's office, Danny sighs with guilt.

"You okay, Danny?" Lunette asks concerned.

Danny shook his head while going into another hallway "I don't know. This whole thing with Paulina would never have happened if Kitty had never possessed her in the first place. For some reason… I feel like it's all my fault that she got hurt."

Lunette stops him while embracing him "Danny! What happened to Paulina wasn't your fault. Really."

Around the corner, Sam saw Lunette hugging Danny, which made her blood boil. But trying to mask her inner struggle, she walks over to them and asks with concern "I heard what happened. Is it true what Mila Cross and the other A-Listers did to Paulina?"

Danny nods while Lunette broke the hug "Not all the A-Listers, Sam. Just Mila, Dash and Dale. The others were just standing there and watched, with Kwan and Star too afraid to do anything despite trying to reason with them. We've seen everything and Lunette took pictures of it and brought it to the Principal." Danny tells Sam.

"Oh…" Sam said, forcing a proud smile at Lunette "Good… work, Lunette," but clearly was hiding her anger, but then wanders, "Where's Valerie?"

"She's with Paulina in the school nurse's office," Tucker states, "Star and Kwan are with her too. I think they were really sorry that they didn't do anything to help her."

Right at that moment, Lancer escorted Mila, Dash and Dale to Principal Ishiyama's office.

"But… Mr. Lancer!" Dash tried to explain "We didn't do anything!" clearly he was lying.

"That's up for the principal to decide. Now move, all of you!" Lancer orders them before getting into the principal's office.

A few minutes later

"The three of you are hereby expelled from Casper High School effective immediately!" Principal Ishiyama yells out loud after having very seriously talked to them after showing the pictures that were taking, catching them in the act.

Dale, Dash and Mila both gasps in shock.

"What?!" Dale yells.

"E-E-Expelled?!" Dash began to freak out before begging "But-but… but, what about all of the school's football and basketball games?!"

Lancer folds his arms, unimpressed with Dash's pleas "You should have thought about that before you decided to make all the students' lives here a living hell, Mr. Baxter."

"Oh yeah?! Well…" Dash thought and fires back "You protected us before in the past, Lancer! So, you're just as guilty as us!"

"Those minor incidents you're referring to are nowhere near to the damage you and your friends have caused at this school. Therefore, no more favoritism for you, young man. Any of you." Lancer states, saying that the small things he'd caused where the exception but were nowhere near to what damage he's brought to the students and the school after revealing he did much more than he knew.

While Dash sits down in defeat and in complete shock, Mila rose up with anger "You can't kick me out of school! My father is the head of the district's school board! When he hears about this, he'll-" she threatens, but was interrupted by the principal.

"Then I think your father and the rest of the school board will be very interested to hear what kind of a daughter Gerald Cross truly has and see what you truly did here all along." Principal Ishiyama says while holding up one of the pictures, showing Mila kicking a female student in the stomach while lying on the floor with badly bruises. "Now, I'm not going to ask the three of you again. Gather your stuff from your lockers and leave this school immediately! And if you don't," that was when a few police officers entered Principal Ishiyama's office "then the three of you will be forcefully removed from school grounds. So, what will it be?"

Dash and Dale rose up while leaving the office, with Mila warning Principal Ishiyama with a smirk "Oh, you're so done, Ishiyama! When I tell my daddy you'll be fired before morning! AND YOU TOO, LANCER! WHEN I CALL MY FATHER AND HE COMES HERE, THE BOTH OF YOU WILL BE ON THE STREET! I SWEAR IT!"

"Get out!" Ishiyama yells, with one officer grabbing Mila by the arm and takes her out.

"Ow!" Mila protested "You're hurting me!"

Though Lancer shook his head with disappointment, he wanders if Mila's father is truly capable of putting him and Ishiyama out of job for removing Gerald Cross' daughter from their high school, "You think we stand a chance, Mrs. Ishiyama? I mean, her father is indeed the head of the school board and has a lot of influence."

"Be assured, Lancer," Ishiyama states, clearly not afraid to deal with the head of the school board as she knows him better than anyone "I'm not afraid to deal with a loose cannon such as Gerald Cross. He's more likely to try to safe his own reputation than having to deal with all the fallout once the press finds out that he's involved trying to cover up his own daughter's crimes."

Though Lancer had some faith in Ishiyama, he was doubting if their effort would work. When he takes the photos that Lunette gave him and the principal earlier and looks at them, he began to think, "Say, Miss Kaye and her friend do work for our school's newspaper, 'Casper Hi-Lited', right?"

Ishiyama raises an eyebrow "But what about it?"

Having an idea in mind, Lancer suggests with a small mischievous smile on his face, "Maybe we could… ask her and her reporter friends to print out a small 'extra edition' of the school paper? As a little 'insurance'." He then have a long sigh, thinking about all the students that have been neglected all this time "Besides, if it means to safe our jobs and keeping our students safe, it's the only chance we got."

Principal Ishiyama thought for a moment, and forming a small smile, liking this little idea of his.

Not long after, in the small office of the school's newspaper…

As soon as news has reached the reporters that Mila, Dash and Dale were expelled from school, Danuta, Bradley, Will and Linda rejoiced that their toxic and manipulative 'self-proclaimed' head editor is finally gone for good.

But Lunette, knowing that the battle isn't won yet, tells the others with a serious face, "Guys! It's not over yet. Not by a long shot." She gives her camera to Danuta and tells "We still got to publish this story before Mila Cross manages to 'convince' her father to put her back at school, meaning she'll do anything to erase all the evidence leading to her!"

Danuta was surprised to see Lunette so determined.

Linda however forms a grin on her face "So, this means we're going to publish an extra edition?"

Will liked the idea "Hell yeah, guys. Once the story is out, she'll never be able to take it down, with or without Mila Cross back at school." Taking up charge, he tasks everyone what to do "Alright, let's get to work! Let's show the school that the real school paper is back in action!"

As soon as everyone was doing their part, while also removing all the disgusting 'Mila Cross' stuff from their office, they began writing and putting all the photos and editing like hell for the extra edition.

Bradley however asks with a little worry "You really sure that Lancer and the other teachers will allow us to do this?"

Lunette ensured them "They will. In fact…" she chuckles "This is all Lancer's little idea."

That made everyone look at her surprised, before they all smile, seeing that Lancer does care about all the students and doesn't always play favorites.

Not long after, the printing machine began working overtime to get as many papers out as fast as possible. Danny, Tucker and Valerie were also there to help spread the papers around and hand it over to any student found. And yes, even Paulina's parents were handed over a copy, which shocked them to the core.

Sam, though she agreed to help, stood in the middle of a hallway, looking down at the extra edition's headlines, saying: BULLYING AND HARASSMENT AT CASPER HIGH!

With the on the second page saying in big letters: A- LISTERS EVIL TYRANNY FINALLY REVEALED!

Sam sighs deep, having hoped that she would've been the one who would make a difference at school. But for now, though cursing Lunette for stealing her chances to be the school's savior, she swallows her pride and continues handing out papers.

The news had spread like wildfire around the school. Many nerds were celebrating that Dash Baxter, the biggest bully in all of Casper High was expelled, meaning that this could finally signaling the end of all the cruel torments they had to endure by the A-Listers, though many felt sympathy for Paulina for being treated like this by Mila.

When Mila's father arrived an hour later at school, to correct things with the principal and allow his daughter and friends back into Casper High, it was already too little too late, as all of Mila's cruel torments and the years of bullying under the A-Listers regime was fully exposed to the whole school.

Defeated and humiliated, Gerald Cross, having black short hair and a small goatee, wearing a very expensive blue business suit and a black tie, left Principal Ishiyama's office with an angry look on his face.

Mila, who'd been waiting for her father to talk things out with Principal Ishiyama, with Dash and Dale waiting there too, asks "So? Can me and my friends come back to school, Daddy?" she then asks with a mischievous smirk "And please tell me that you've fired that awful principal for treating us cruelly."

"I think the only one who's been the cruel one here, Mila, is YOU!" Gerald angrily says while holding up the extra edition of the Casper Hi-Ligted, showing Mila tormenting Paulina.

Mila gasps with horror what she saw and grabs the newspaper "But… how did…?!" when reading the paper and showing all the pictures of her and her A-Lister followers bullying and tormenting other students, she furiously rips the paper apart "THOSE FUCKING TRAITORS!" and yells out in fury like a volcano "GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Dale and Dash look in shock as they got another extra edition of the school's paper, showing their crimes documented in full detail and showing all kinds of pictures of them bullying and beating up other students.

Having had enough of Mila's behavior, Gerald grabs her arm and takes her out "Have you any idea what you've done? Your actions could've lost me my reputation and my job! C'mon! We need to find you a new school."

Dash and Dale exchange a very worried and horrified look, with Dale saying in defeat, "Oh man…! My parents are going to kill me when they hear about this."

Dash was in complete panic "No! NOOO! This can't be happening! My life here at Casper High was supposed to be the best part of my life before college! This is it…! My life is over, man! No football! No scholarship! NOTHING! I'M NOTHING!"

"Shut up, Dash!" Mila cries out.

While going along the hallway, they bypassed a large crowd of students, with them all clapping and cheering to see the worst bullies in school were being 'kicked out'.

"Oh, screw you all!" Dash yells, "You are all still and always will be nothing but a bunch of FUCKING LOSERS!"

Then Mila spots Lunette, standing with Danny, Danuta, Valerie, Sam and Tucker, with Lunette forming a satisfied smirk as the rest of the Casper Hi-Ligted crew joins her, supporting their brave journalist.

Mila gave her a death glare "You're going to pay for this, you little snitch…! MARK MY WORDS, KAYE! YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS! YOU WILL PAAAAAY!" she yells out when her father takes her out of the school.

Dash and Dale gave Lunette, Danny and their friends a serious death.

Tucker then cheers out loud "WOOHOO! Dash is finally gone, baby! And here I thought we had to go through all of his torment till after graduation." he got teary while forming a smile, thanking the Heavens for blessing him "This is the best day of my school life."

Sam however was a bit more realistic on this and asks, "You really think things are going to get better around here, Tuck? Believe me, once Paulina has her claws back on the A-Listers, they'll just continue their usual bullying as if nothing has happened."

Danny raised his eyebrow at Sam for thinking like that, while Lunette frowns at her before looking at Paulina, leaving with her parents while covering her head with a blanket.

"Maybe it won't have to be that way, Sam. I think… Paulina may have finally learned a big lesson today." Lunette says.

Paulina looks back at Lunette, Danny and the others, forming a small smile as a way to say 'thank you' to them. She then leaves the school, entering her parents' car before driving back home.

Danny smiles at Lunette "Well, you sure are a heck of a girl, Lun. Standing up to the A-Listers like that? You're amazing."

That made Lunette blush deep "Oh! Thanks… I guess." she smiles while trying to hide her blush.

Danny then holds her hand.

Seeing them so 'romantically', Danuta forms a big smile, having the urge to squeal with excitement as how proud she is at her best friend.

Sam however frowns with disgust "Oh, brother. If you all excuse me, I'm going to find the nearest bathroom to vomit." And leaves.

Tucker seems to be the only one who'd been hearing Sam, making him a bit worried about her.

In the weeks that followed, things started to improve around Casper High. With news reaching the students' parents what has been really happening to their children at school, Lancer and Principal Ishiyama, to make sure to earn back the trust of the parents and restore the school being a safe haven for all students, had changed a number of things to make sure that bullying, like under Dash and Mila Cross, will never happen again.

All over the school, new security cameras were installed so that no single act of bullying, harassment or violence will be out of sight. And the teachers were tasked to give anti-bullying classes to the students.

As for Paulina, though the horrible experience by Mila had left a traumatic scar on her life, in the end, she felt like having a revelation, that she finally felt what it's like to be constantly harassed and bullied every day. So now, having promised herself to never be that self-centered, shallow bitch ever again, decides to dedicate herself to improve the lives of all the other students instead of 'forcing them into submission'.

Thus, the A-Listers group were from that moment on dissolved.

And with the bullying having been largely stopped and many of the former A-Listers having gone through some well-deserved detention and following several anti-bullying classes, were now giving something back to the school instead of continuing demanding things from everyone all the time.

As time passes, Paulina, Star and Kwan started to get closer to Danny, Tucker, Sam, Lunette and Danuta, becoming almost close to actual friends, without them knowing Danny's secret of being the Ghost-Boy. Paulina and Valerie even began to reconcile with Paulina telling Valerie how sorry she was. Valerie, after seeing that Paulina had indeed started to change for the better and showing she was truly sorry for her actions, forgave her.

However, Sam was the only one who wasn't as enthusiastic about the idea of befriending the three people who have been harassing them for years. Nobody will know if Sam will eventually accept that Paulina, Star and Kwan have changed their ways. But, besides that, Danny continued being the ghost-kid hero.

Despite Danny had to go through a weeklong health-science project by taking care of a 'flower sack' that represents a baby, he was lucky to be paired up with Lunette. And though he had some trouble fighting Skulker and forming an uneasy alliance with Valerie, Danny and Lunette were able to score a B for the health-science project.

Though everyone in Amity Park still sees 'The Ghost-Kid' as public enemy ghost number 1, Danny did manage to show on some occasions that he was a hero, even after being able to fight off a whole team of ghost hunters after Vlad put a million dollar bounty on him while preventing the Ghost-Portal in his parents' lab from exploding.

But the moment Danny was controlled by a master criminal named Freakshow and commit crimes for his own wealth, Lunette was determined do expose Freakshow and safe Danny from being controlled, with Danny saving her in the end as his growing love for Lunette was stronger than Freakshow's controlling staff. After Lunette was able to expose Freakshow by showing all evidence to the police, the Circus Gothica fraud was arrested.

With Sam becoming increasingly more jealous of seeing Danny and Lunette getting closer, almost as if they're a real couple, would cause her to do something she will regret…

During lunch, at the school's cafeteria…

It has been more than a month since Dash, Dale and Mila have been expelled from school and the A-Listers being dissolved.

Paulina, Tucker, Valerie and Lunette were sitting together at a table in the school's cafeteria, discussing their plans for the summer vacation.

Paulina was now having short hair as it unfortunately had to be cut short after Mila had ruined it with her scissors. Though she was devastated about the loss of her hair and would take a long time till her hair had fully grown back to her usual long length, she seemed to have gotten used to her new look. Paulina even began to change her outfits, showing she's improved in character and not always wearing very expensive clothes. Now she's wearing an ocean-blue shirt, grey jeans and sneakers.

"So, you're going to California to visit your family, Kwan?" Tucker asks with curiosity.

Kwan nods "Yep. Almost all of my relatives live in Sacramento. But we're not going to stay there all summer. After a week we're going to spend two weeks on Hawaii."

Valerie however sighs with some sadness while poking the food on her plate with a fork. "Lucky for you, Kwan. Unfortunately, me and my dad won't be able to afford any expensive vacations anymore. So, I'm just stuck staying at our place in Elmerton for the rest of the summer."

Paulina, feeling pity for Valerie, offers, "Hey, if it's okay, you can join me going to Fire Tree Camp?"

"Fire Tree Camp?" Valerie asks confused.

Paulina nods and shows Valerie a brochure she got about the camp, "It's a great summer camp that lies in the forests of Oregon. I've decided to go there this summer and help out as a junior counselor."

"Wow, Paulina," Tucker says with a smile, "I never expected you to go and help at a summer camp. I mean, I was more expecting that you would go with your family to spend the summer at the Bahama's, or something."

Paulina shrugs while giving a small sad face "Actually, we were planning to go to the Dominican Republic. But… after I've thought and reflecting on myself these past few weeks, I just want to make up for all my wrongdoings and… do something good for once. I heard from a good friend of my father about Fire Tree Camp." She then smiles bright "So when I asked him more information about the place, I got so curious and fascinated what they offer, that I made up my mind and want to go there and be a junior counselor for 8 weeks." She then offers Tucker a brochure "Maybe you could come too if you like?"

Tucker, while looking at the dnice-looking brochure with a picture of kids and teenagers having lots of fun, like camping, canoeing and a picture of the whole camp that was next to a beautiful lake, wasn't so sure as he shrugs "Hmmm… maybe… I'll take it into consideration, that is if my folks don't have any plans for the summer." He puts the brochure in his school bag.

Lunette shrugs "I would like to go Paulina, but I can't. I'm going with my family to visit my grandparents in Wales."

While Valerie checks the prices in order to sign in for the camp, Valerie's face became sad "Oh, Paulina, this is nice of you, really, but… I can't afford to go there as how financially tight me and my dad are."

Paulina assured her, "Oh, don't worry. I'm sure my family won't mind paying for you if I ask them nicely?" she chuckles.

Valerie began to think. Sure, Paulina's plan for the summer sure sounded interesting, but as she thought about her 'other job' of being a secret ghost hunter for the mysterious man named VLAD and also pays her for every ghost she captures and delivers to him and the thought of missing the chance to have her revenge on the Ghost-Boy, Valerie was doubting.

But before she could say anything, Star arrives while holding a serving plate and says, "Sorry that I'm late. I had to complete this assignment for Biology on time." She sighs deeply "Things sure are more difficult at school without anyone doing your homework." She rests her head on her elbow.

"Well, at least you know what every other student has to go through when it comes to schoolwork. If you want to be who you want to be in life, you have to work for it." Lunette states, showing what good things can come if you put a lot of effort into it.

Star nods while taking a bite from her meatloaf "Yeah, I suppose so."

Suddenly, there was an explosion outside, causing the whole school to shake.

"What's happening?!" Kwan asks in shock.

Lunette looks out the window, spotting Danny in his ghost form while fighting a colossal moat-covered Lunch-Lady ghost.

Star looks in horror what she saw "It's the meat-monster! It's back!"

Then Paulina spots Danny Phantom, making her form a smile "And so is the Ghost-Boy." She sighs dreamily as she can't deny she has feelings for him after he has saved her so many times from other evil ghosts in the past.

Lunette and Tucker however exchanged a glance, giving each other a nod, knowing they had to go and help Danny. They left in a hurry while the rest of the school was distracted to see all the fighting outside.

Valerie meanwhile however frowns at the Ghost-Boy who'd 'ruined her life' and too went somewhere else to change into The Red Huntress.

While Danny shoots many Ghost-Ray's at Lunch Lady, he shook his head with an unimpressed look, "Seriously? Haven't you tried this Meat-Monster thing months ago?"

"I WILL SHOW EVERYONE THAT MEAT GIVES YOU STRENGTH! MEAT GIVES YOU THE PROTEINS YOU NEED TO STAY FUNCTIONING ALL DAY LOOOOONG!" the meat-covered Lunch Lady ghost yells before turning into her sweet mode and offers Danny a plate with a piece of apple pie, "Would you like some apple pie?"

Amused, Danny declines while he shook his head, "Nah. I prefer a salad."

But before the meat-covered Lunch Lady monster could react, a missile hit her at the back of her meat-covered head, exploding more than half of her meat-covered head! The Meat-Monster Lunch Lady fell down, leaving a big pile of meat scattered across the street!

Danny looks and sees Valerie flying down with her hoverboard while shooting at Danny with her wrist-gun!

Danny was barely able to dodge the blaster shots!

"Oh, for Pete's sake!" Danny says with a mixture of frustration and fear "Can't you see I'm-" he jumps up just in time to avoid a missile that exploded in the background "busy trying to catch a-" he got intangible, avoiding a another blaster shot from Valerie, before becoming tangible again "manically-" he ducks to avoid of being hit by Valerie's hoverboard "Lunch Lady ghost!"

"The only ghost that's about to be put down, IS YOU!" Valerie yells before firing 2 more missiles on Danny!

Using all his strength, Danny was able to create a big Ghost-Shield around him but was knocked back hard when the 2 missiles exploded on his energy shield and hit the ground!

Valerie smirks under her mask, thinking she finally got the Ghost-Boy.

Back at the big pile of meat, the Lunch Lady ghost phases out before turning tangible, looking frustrated that Danny has ruined her plan to 'restore the menu at school'. But before she could get away, Lunette and Tucker appear in front of her, with Tucker aiming the Fenton Thermos at her.

Before Lunch Lady could react, Tucker captures her in the Thermos. But Lunette gasps in shock to see Danny laying on the ground near motionless.

Valerie floats above Danny while taking out her blaster gun, aiming at him. She set the trigger to KILL. Danny looks scared.

"Time to die, ghost." Valerie determinedly says as she's this close to have her revenge.

Danny wanted to fly away, turn intangible or fire a Ghost-Ray, but was too weak to do anything.

"NO, VALERIE! STOP!" Lunette calls before she stands between her and Danny, protecting him.

Valerie became confused and frustrated, ordering her "Lunette? Get out of the way, now!"

"NO! NEVER!" Lunette yells and holds Danny "If you're going to hurt him, you'll have to hurt me too."

Tucker looks in total surprise, not expecting that Lunette would risk her own life to keep Danny safe.

"What?!" Valerie asks in shock "Are you insane?! That ghost-boy is evil! He and his kind are causing all this chaos in Amity Park! He ruined my life!"

"No, he didn't! He was set up! He isn't evil as the other ghosts! He saves people! And he saved my life so many times. Why can't you see that?" tears began to form in Lunette's eyes.

Valerie felt conflicted. She wants to put an end to the Ghost-Boy so badly and make all the ghosts pay for ruining her life, but she also made a promise never to hurt any human. A thousand thoughts went through her mind as why Lunette so desperately would protect him, even at the cost of her own life, like she truly cares for him.

Then… something hit her mind, as if she realized something and looks better at the Ghost-Boy 'No…! It can't be…! Danny?! Danny is the Ghost-Boy?!'

Lunette holds him close, pleading, "Please, Valerie… Don't."

What felt like an eternity in her mind, was only less than a minute for Valerie. Then… slowly, Valerie lowers her blaster gun. Without saying a word, she flies away with her hoverboard.

Lunette sighs with a big relief.

Danny looks at Lunette, surprised how brave she just was, forming a smile.

Lunette forms a smile too. She then says when releasing him "You should go."

"Yeah… and… thanks, Lun." Danny says, "See you soon." And flies off.

Tucker ran up to Lunette "Holy shit, Lunette! What the hell were you thinking?!"

Lunette shook her head as she looks at Tucker, "I couldn't let her do it. Not like that."

Sam, who had been watching the whole thing, grew even more angrier with jealousy.

A few hours later, near the office of Hi-Lighted…

Danuta and Lunette walk together through the hallway after the final school bell rang.

"Where did that meat-monster ghost come from?" Danuta wanders "Why would she come back and attack the school again?"

Lunette shook her head "I'm not sure. Maybe she wants revenge on the ghost-boy but didn't thought things through and tried to do the same thing months ago?"

"Maybe," Danuta says before asking her with a smile, "Please tell me you shot some pictures of the action?"

"Way ahead of you." Lunette holds her camera.

Danuta squeals with excitement "You're the best, Lun!" and took her camera before giving her a look of understanding "Hey, don't worry. I'll cover for you while you go and study for your upcoming science test with Danny." She narrows her eyes while she forms a grin as she said that last line.

That Danuta said that made Lunette to blush.

Danuta then went inside the school paper office "Talk to you later, Lun!"

"Okay. Bye." Lunette said as she went the other way, heading for her locker.

From around the corner, Jazz had been following Lunette and kept an eye on her. After figuring out that she and Danny have become so close together and they even fight ghosts together, especially figuring out that the both of them are secretly in love with each other, Jazz wanted to be sure that Lunette had no evil intentions and if she was a good match for her little brother.

But as Lunette reached her locker and opened if after dialing in the code, Sam suddenly appears, giving her a nasty look.

Surprised, Lunette says, "Oh! Hi, Sam. I didn't see you there."

"What are you up to?" Sam demanded while folding her arms.

Lunette raised her eyebrow at her while taking out a blue-orange sketchbook "I'm off to… go and study."

Sam rolls her eyes "Oh, of course! Going off and study with Danny! What are you going to do next, have a little intimacy with him afterwards as this whole 'studying with him' was just a trick in order to sleep with him?!"

Lunette was shocked that Sam accused her of something like that "What? What do you-" she tried to ask while taking out her study book, before she was grabbed and pinned against the lockers by Sam who growled in fury.

Jazz, watching from around the corner, gasping in shock to see what was happening.

"I know what your plan is, Loony!" Sam yells "You're just being so nice to Danny till you finally got him on the hook and you can make him do whatever you like, huh? I bet you only pretend to like him in order to know his deepest secrets which you're going to use to expose him one day, isn't it?!"

Lunette, scared of Sam acting like this to her, shook her head, "What?! No, I would never…!"

"You can maybe fool everyone else, but you can't fool me!" Sam then pushed Lunette hard against the lockers, hurting her! "What makes you even think that Danny wants to do anything with a lying slut like you! I've kept my eyes on you ever since you sneaked your way into Danny's home using all of that dumb charms of yours, Loony Lunette, and all that I saw was a noise little bitch, crying out for attention! The school maybe thinks you're brave, but you're just the same insecure, cowardly bitch you always were!" she then threw Lunette against the floor.

Lunette, laying on the floor while rubbing her head, looks at Sam with a mixture of fear and sadness.

"So, take my advice, Loony. Stay away from Danny." Sam gave her a final warning before walking away.

Lunette gave a sob, shocked after Sam harassed her like that. She then gasps when seeing her sketchbook and almost every drawn paper in it lay scattered around the floor "Oh, no, no, no, no!" she quickly gathered them, being relieved that they weren't ruined as these meant a lot to her.

Slowly, Lunette stands up, taking the rest of her stuff, and leaves after closing her locker.

Jazz, being shocked to what was happening, couldn't believe that one of Danny's friends would do something like that to Lunette. And after seeing her being honest that she had no bad intentions with Danny, was more than enough to convince Jazz that she's a good match for her little brother. But still, Jazz wanders if Danny even knows about Sam harassing Lunette.

Jazz came to only one conclusion after witnessing Sam's jealous outburst; Sam, because she has been having a secret crush on Danny (which was no surprise to her as she'd already seen it coming from a mile away), has become so jealous of Lunette stealing any chance she'd left with Danny and attempts to keep her far away from him so she can earn Danny's love.

While leaving the other way, Jazz was thinking what to do. She couldn't just go and tell Danny what she'd seen, as that would only make her a snitch, which isn't in her character. Still, she needs to open Danny's eyes before it's too late.

Later that day, back at Fenton Works…

Danny was sitting at the big couch in the living room. But instead of watching tv, he was going through the brochure Paulina gave to him about Fire Tree Camp. As he went through the pages, he stops as he looks at a picture showing a group of 10-year-old kids and their camp counselors sitting happily around a fire, spotting a boy and a girl sitting close next to each other and look at each other like they're in love.

While staring at the picture, Danny began to imagine himself and Lunette sitting romantically like that at the campfire. He dreamingly smiles at that thought.

Jazz interrupted his little imagination as she clears her throat. Danny blinks his eyes before looking at his big sister, not having seen noticed his sister standing in front of him.

"Oh, hey, Jazz," Danny says with an awkward smile "You uhm… How long have you been standing there?"

"Since your mind was lost in dream world," Jazz answers while she shrugs. She looks at the brochure that Danny was reading and asks with curiosity "Fire Tree Camp? You're planning to go on summer camp? I thought you wanted to go on Astronaut-camp at Cape Canaveral?"

"I am," Danny says before he explains "Paulina just handed out these and asked if any of us were interested to join her on Fire Tree Camp as junior counselors for 2 months. I… told her I was going to think about it."

Jazz forms a small smile, thinking already that her little brother would definitely join if Lunette would go there too. "You know, it might a good idea for you to go there, Danny. It would definitely help you develop some valuable skills for later in life."

"And how would you know that?" Danny asks while raising an eyebrow at her "You never went to summer camp before."

"Maybe not," Jazz answers while narrowing her eyes and states, "but I know more than enough about these summer camps and their training programs for teens and young adults and how beneficial they are." She then asks, trying to change the subject "Did… any of your friends decided to go?"

"Just Paulina," Danny states, "The others would think about it too," his face then became a bit sad, "Lunette however already told that she couldn't go as she's going to England with her family."

"And… Sam?" Jazz asks.

That made Danny to think "I… don't know. I'm not even sure if Paulina has approached her with the same offer as…" he then began to blink as he realized that he and the others had actually barely heard anything form her "You know, truth be told, she hasn't shown up as much as she does lately and we barely see her at school. Any time when I try to talk to her, she keeps saying she's busy."

"And not even during lunch breaks?"

Danny shook his head.

"Had she talked to any of your friends lately?"

Danny blinks his eyes in confusion.

"Or even… Lunette?" Jazz asks while narrowing her eyes.

Danny then asks as he rose up "Where are you going with this Jazz?"

"I'm just saying that… maybe you should…" Jazz tried to think fast how to tell Danny how to find out what Sam has been doing lately, especially to Lunette "check on Sam more often?"

"Why? Sam told already she's busy and I don't want to stand in the way or disturb her about anything."

Jazz rolls her eyes to see how clueless her little brother can be sometimes. But, staying calm, she suggests, "I'm just saying that maybe you should check on all your friends more, Danny." She then goes up the stairs before adding a bit of advice "Cause, you never know what they're really have been up to, until you see it for yourself."

This made Danny confused as why Jazz wants him to check on Sam more often.

But as he sat back on the couch, Danny thinks, 'Maybe Jazz is right and maybe I should talk with Sam more often. I do wander with what she's been so busy with, or why she's avoiding us lately.'

The next day, at Casper High…

Danny was walking through the hallway together with Tucker and Lunette, with the three of them carrying boxes with paper to be used to print new additions for the school paper.

"Hey, uhm…" Lunette says, feeling modest that Danny and Tucker want to help her "thanks for helping me carrying these to our school paper office. But you didn't have to."

Danny shook his head "No, no, it's nothing, really."

Tucker amusingly rolls his eyes, knowing it was just another way of Danny to try to impress Lunette.

That was when Danny spots Sam at her locker. He puts the boxes down "Hold on." And walked over to her "Hey, Sam!"

Sam looks, seeing Danny coming over to her. But as she sees Lunette too, she gave the girl a glare before closing her locker and taking her bag.

"Sam, hey, I wanted to talk to you for a minute." Danny says.

Sam sighs as she was about to leave "Just make it fast, Danny, cause I'm in a hurry." Clearly, she made another one of these excuses that she's busy, while in reality it was her way to get away from Lunette as seeing the sight of her and Danny together disgusts her.

Danny stops her and asks "Look, I know you're busy with… whatever you're busy with," he shrugs "but I was just wandering if you want to meet us later today at the Nasty Burger?"

Knowing that probably Lunette will be there too, Sam tried to decline it as politely as she can, "That's nice of you, Danny, but I'm really busy at the moment."

"With what?" Danny wanders before he offers, "Maybe I can help? Or we all can?"

"Danny, I don't think that's such a good idea."

"But why? We barely talk to each other nowadays." Danny states "If there's something that's bothering you, I just want to be there for you, Sam. I'm your friend."

Sam sighs as she turns to him "I know you are, Danny. I'm just…" she looks at Lunette for a quick second before looking back at Danny, still wandering what's bothering her "Never mind." She turns and is about to leave.

Danny stops her in her tracks and offers "Okay, then… what about we… catch a movie tonight? Like we always used to do?"

Sam looks at him and asks, "Alone?"

Danny looks confused for a moment, but then shrugs with a smile "Sure, Sam. If you prefer that, then it's just gonna be the two of us."

That made Sam forms a small smile "Okay. See you then." As she leaves for her class, Sam sighs with such relief and was thinking that maybe this could be the moment she can try to fix things and maybe get Danny's full attention before Lunette could have her chance.

After Sam had left and Danny walks back to Tucker and Lunette, Tucker asks, "So? Found out what's bothering her?"

Danny shook his head as he picks up the boxes "No, not yet, but… I'm going to see a movie with her later tonight. Maybe then I can figure out what's been keeping her busy lately."

Hearing that worried Lunette for a moment. But, trying to keep these negative thoughts out of her head, she tells him, "Well… I do hope you and Sam will be able to… fix things?" though she was still hurt deep down from all the horrible words that Sam yelled at her yesterday.

Danny nods "Yeah… I hope so." And all made their way to the Casper Hi-Ligted office.

A minute later, when they reached the door to the office of the school paper, they notice that the door is ajar.

They all exchanged a glance with Tucker asking "Hey, isn't the school paper office supposed to be closed by now?"

"Maybe. Or someone of the paper is inside." Lunette shared her thoughts before they check inside.

To their shock, they saw that the whole school paper office was wrecked, with computers being demolished, tables and chairs wrecked and the printing machine large being destroyed with an axe still stuck on it.

"Oh my God!" Danny says, "What happened here?!"

"It's almost like a bomb went off in here." Tucker adds.

Lunette looks around in shock, seeing so many things being destroyed.

But then, she saw someone lying unconscious on the floor having many bruises and bleeding cuts. Lunette gasps in horror who it is "WILL!"

Not long after, Will was being carried into an ambulance while several police cars were in front of the school.

While a large crowd of students were gathered to see what crime had been committed, a female police officer was interrogating Lunette, Danny and Tucker.

"So, you're telling me the door was ajar before you first entered?

"Yes. And that's when we found Will and called for help." Danny states.

After the officer wrote down everything, she nods before leaving.

Lunette then says with worry "Who would do something like this to the school paper and hurt Will?"

Danuta, who'd come as soon as possible when hearing what happened to the paper's office and to Will, was in thought while peeking into the partly destroyed Hi-Ligted office. She narrows her eyes and theorized, being in 'detective-mode', "This can only be the work of someone who really hates the school paper. I mean, who else would do this and hurt Will so badly?"

But as Danuta wants to look more closer for any clues, a few police officers held her back "Hold it right there, young lady! This room is off limits while we're doing our investigation." One of the officers says while another seals the entrance off with police duct tape.

Lancer, being present at the time, tried to dismiss the students "Alright, children! Nothing to be seen here! Everyone get back to your classes and let the police do their job!"

Danuta walks to Lancer, "Mr. Lancer, what about the security cameras?" she asks while pointing to the few security cameras in the hallway, with one pointing at the door of the school paper's office "The police should check the footage and see who destroyed our office and hurt Will."

Lancer gave Danuta an ensuring nod "Nothing to worry, Miss Gabor. That was precisely what I was planning to do. Now, off you go and return to your class." He dismissed her, Lunette and Danny.

As they walk down the hallway to their next class, Danny ensures Lunette, "Hey, don't worry. I'm sure that thanks to the security camera's, the police will catch the criminals who did it in no time."

Lunette forms a small smile "I sure hope so."

Later, after school…

"What do you mean; 'The police found nothing on the security footage'?!" Danuta yells out in disbelief.

Lancer, who was walking out of the school with his suitcase, shook his head while heading to his car and tells her while she goes after him "I cannot tell you anymore than what I know after the police had checked the footage and that part of the recordings were gone."

"But-but" Danuta stuttered "how can they suddenly disappear?!" Lancer made it to his car and opens the door "If there's a conspiracy going on that involves hurting the school paper, we have the right to know! Our own editor has been hospitalized, Mr. Lancer! If someone is able to wipe away their tracks, then none of us are safe-"

"Miss Gabor!" Lancer angrily looks at her "I want to find out who has hurt one of my students and destroyed your school paper's office just as much as you do. But unless I don't have the evidence to put all the pieces together, there's nothing that I can do at the moment." He takes a deep breath and tells her in a calming way "Look, we are all very shocked that this happened to the paper's editor, William. But at this moment, this goes beyond my paygrade. All I ask you now is to go home and catch some rest and let the police handle this. It'll be alright. Whoever did this will be caught eventually."

Danuta looks down while Lancer steps into his car and drives away.

But slowly, Danuta forms an angry and determined look on her face "No! If we allow the police to handle this and do nothing, it'll be too late. I can feel it!" she walks away, going home while making a solemn vow in her mind "When someone is messing with our school paper, this makes it personal! I'm gonna find the evidence if it's the last thing I'll do."

Later that evening, at the movie theater…

Danny was walking to the big movie theater downtown. He sighs in relief when I had finally made it "Pfew! I made it." he looks back with a proudly smile as his Ghost-Sense hasn't gone off that would force to change his plans while going to the movies but then forms a but uncertainty on his face "Let's just hope no ghost is planning to go and mess things around tonight."

Danny then saw Sam in the waiting line, waving at him "Danny! Over here!"

Danny forms a small smile and walks over to her, joining her in the line "Hey, Sam. Glad you made it."

Sam nods "Yeah… me too." She forms a small blush as they were next to buy some movie tickets "You know… this is actually the first time it's just you and me going to see a movie."

Danny raised an eyebrow at her, but seeing her point and he usually only went to the movies with only Tucker, or together with him and Sam, he nods "Yeah, now that I think about it, this is kinda the first time it's just you and me going to the movies."

"What movie will it be, kids?" the cashier asks them.

As he hadn't really thought of what movie they should go and watch, Danny awkwardly asks Sam "You know what? Why don't you pick out the movie tonight?"

"Uhm…" Sam tries to hide her blush before she shrugs with a smile "Sure, no problem!" she turns to the cashier "2 tickets for 'Van Helsing', please."

The cashier nods and takes out 2 tickets for them.

Later, while checking to buy some popcorn and drinks, Danny asks Sam, "Uhh… Sam?"

"Yes?" Sam says while forming a sweet smile.

"About… what I wanted to ask you back at school…"

Sam shook her head while still smiling "Oh, don't worry about it, Danny. I was just…" she takes the popcorn she'd ordered, trying to brush off the reason why she was avoiding Danny and the others "very busy with stuff, that's all."

"Yeah, I understand that you did," Danny scratches the back of his head "but you have been avoiding me, Tucker and the others for so long that it got me worried."

"Here's your diet coke and popcorn, sir." The guy behind the counter said to Danny while giving him his ordered cola and popcorn.

Danny took his while still talking with Sam "Just tell me, Sam. What has been keeping you so occupied that you've been avoiding all of us?"

"I…" Sam was hesitant to tell Danny the truth. She checked the time and saw that the movie they'd picked out would start soon "Oh! We better hurry before others steal our seats!"

"Sam." Danny said while going after her, stopping her in her tracks as they neared the cinema room "Just tell me what's going on. I'm your friend and… there can be no friendship without us being at least honest to each other."

"Danny…" Sam got really nervous "We should go in and see the movie-"

But Danny interrupted her and puts his popcorn and coke aside "To heck with that movie! I wanted to take you here in the hopes you would open up and tell me what's going on with you. Why can't you just be honest with me and tell what's the reason you've been neglecting our friendship?"

"Danny, I'm not neglecting our friendship. It's just…" Sam was on the brink to panic, wanting to keep her feelings for Danny and her hate for Lunette in very hard, but the pressure started to get too much for her to handle.

"What? Tell me what's wrong, Sam!" Danny demanded as he nearly yells.

Not being able to hold in anymore, while tears fell from Sam's eyes, she yells out while throwing away her popcorn, "IT'S THAT FUCKING BITCH, LUNETTE KAYE, ALRIGHT?!"

Lots of people look in surprise at Danny and Sam.

Danny looks very surprised "Lunette?" that Sam just called her a 'bitch' made Danny a bit angry "What the hell has Lunette got to do with any of this?"

Sam immediately regretted to yell out her frustration about Lunette at Danny "I…" with an angered and tearful look on her face, she tells, "It's that she's taking all of our time, Danny! Whenever we're at school or out together, it's always; Lunette this. Lunette that. I… I just don't see whatever you're seeing in her, Danny!"

Danny began to frown, finally seeing the reason why Sam's been avoiding them so much, seeing now that she's jealous "Look, Sam, if you have a problem with my friendship with Lunette, then that's tough! She has been helping me and all of us for months! And she…" he then quickly looks around and whispers "…did so many good things whenever I'm fighting ghosts and even found ways to deal with them in ways without even using violence."

"She's a journalist, Danny! Are you that stupied that you don't realize that she could-"

"That she'll do what? Expose my secret identity to the whole world? Do you really think so little of people, Sam?"

"It's not just THAT, Danny!"

"Then what?!"

"Can't you realize that she's trying to make her way into your heart, only for her to use you for her own benefits?!"

Danny blinks in surprise "What the heck are you talking about?"

"Ugh! Let me clear it out to you, Danny Fenton: You two, acting like you both are a couple, all the giggling, the awkward moments between the two of you, hiding that she likes you. Ringing any bells?!"

Danny blushes deep for a moment "She… she likes me?" that made him dreamily smile.

"I LIKE YOU, DANNY!"

Those words made Danny froze. "You… what?"

Sam sobs while still having that much anger in her "I'm in love with you, you fucking idiot!" as soon as those words escaped her mouth, her anger vanished as she now had to tell him the truth "I've been in love with you for years. And still you… How could you have never noticed the signs?! That I was… trying so hard to get your attention and show you how much better I can be than any other girl, especially Lunette Kaye! For fuck's sake, I'm a thousand times more worth than whatever she is!"

"Sam…" Danny had lost for words. Never before had he noticed that one of his best friends was having a big crush on him for years. But as he began to put the piece together in his mind, he finally began to see why Sam had been acting the way she is whenever he mentioned his crush on Paulina or whenever he and Tucker were talking about other hot girls in school. Danny finally sees that the true reason why Sam has been avoiding him and the others. Sam isn't jealous because of his friendship with Lunette, but jealous because she was secretly in love with him.

But just before Danny could say anything, Sam grabs Danny by his collar and presses her lips against his, shocking Danny.

This forceful kiss, though Sam was trying to show Danny how much she cares for him, Danny pushes her off him "Sam! What the heck?!"

Sam's felt like her heart broke into a thousand to see Danny's shocked and anger response to her feelings for him "Danny… I only just…"

Danny shook his head while wiping his lips "Is this your way to show your feelings?" he asks with a sense of anger and disbelief.

Sam shockingly felt like she'd skipped a heartbeat, hearing not the words she wanted him to say.

"To mock and insult any other girl I'm hanging out with or want to hang out with, just for you to make me more miserable, so you can have me all to yourself?" Danny, feeling like he'd hit a concrete wall that woke him back to reality, finally saw the person that Sam truly is within. "How much more miserable do I and everyone else around you have to be for you to finally be happy?!"

Sam shook her head "No, Danny… That's not what I… mean, I…!"

"Right now, the only person in this world who has been trying to use me for her own benefits, IS YOU!" Frustrated, Danny buries his face in his hands "For God's sake! You don't really care about my feelings or our friendship. You just want to make everything in the world into your own liking with no regard of anyone else's opinion or feelings!"

More tears form in her eyes "Danny… I… I never… wanted to…"

"Lunette is an amazing and wonderful girl and has a good heart! She has never used me or my abilities for her own benefits or anyone else's, unlike you! Lunette cares about me and accepts me for who I am! Whenever I'm troubled, she has always been there for me and has been amazingly supportive. But you? You never did any of those things! And now you expect me to just open up to you after you said all of those awful things about Lunette and forcefully kissed me so I can be your 'twisted version of Romeo' and you being your perfect little 'goth version of Juliet'?!" Danny turns and begins to leave.

"Danny…! Wait…!"

"So long, Sam." was all that Danny could say and left the movie theatre.

Tears began to fall from her cheeks as she fell on her knees in defeat, feeling heartbroken in a way she never could've imagined. Sam began to sob.

The janitor of the movie theatre walks over to her and says with an angry face, "Hey, lady. You going to clean that or what?" he says while pointing at the mess she's made.

But Sam, feeling like erupting like a volcano, roars as she grabs him and throws him against a wall, breaking one of the framed movie posters and shatters the glass, shocking almost everyone present.

Sam burst into tears and ran out of the movie theatre.

"You alright, sir?" one woman asks who quickly walks over the injured janitor and help him get back on his feet and is helped by other people.

The janitor groans with pain while rubbing the back of his head, seeing it was bleeding.

"He's hurt pretty badly." A guy suggested.

A few streets away from the movie theatre, Sam was alone in a back ally, crying out her tears while sitting in corner.

But soon, that sadness was replaced by anger, thinking that Lunette has turned Danny and Tucker against her "That… bitch! That… fucking BITCH!"

Not long after, back at Fenton Works…

Danny walks back into his home, giving a long sigh as he enters and closes the door behind him.

Jack and Maddie, who were watching some tv, look with a bit of surprise to see their son this early back home.

"Hey, champ." Jack first says with a smile before he asks with a raised eyebrow, "Why are you back so early? I thought you went to the movies with your friends, or something?"

Danny however simply walks up the stairs, not even bothering to share any details of what had just happened and just says while he shrugs "There weren't any good movies tonight, dad."

Jack and Maddie shared a glance, being confused as why their son was feeling like this, before they gave a simple shrug and resume watching the program on tv.

Back in his bedroom, Danny was laying on his bed and just stares at the ceiling, thinking back about the awful words Sam told him about Lunette and how Sam was forcefully kissing him to try to show how she feels for him. Danny felt stupid, not just to never notice that Sam was all this time in love with him, but also never to realize what kind of an awful person Sam truly is and how ill she spoke about Lunette.

Danny groans while rubbing his face "Dammit, Sam."

At that moment, his PDA vibrated. When Danny checks, he sees it's a text message from Lunette, asking: Hi Danny! Sorry, I hope I'm not bothering you or anything but I hope you have a good time at the movies with Sam.

Danny sighs, not sure what to text back.

He then received another message from Lunette quickly, saying: Uhm… not that I'm interested to know if anything is 'happening' between you two! Hahahaha (nervously smiling emoji). Sorry, I won't bother you again. We can talk later, okay? Have a good time at the movies!

Feeling he didn't wanted to leave her hanging, he texted her back, saying: Actually… me and Sam didn't went to see a movie…

Lunette texted him back: You didn't? (surprised emoji) What happened? Was there a ghost attack?

Danny texted, saying: No, there weren't any ghost attacks. I just…

He stopped typing for a moment.

Lunette: What is it? (Concerned emoji)

Danny sighs, not feeling good yet to tell her everything and texted: I'll… tell you tomorrow at school if that's okay?

Lunette: Sure, Danny. No problem. Whenever you feel ready, I'm here for you…

Then Lunette texted another message, saying: Danuta has been really serious today. Ever since the school paper's office was demolished and Will hospitalized, she's been searching for answers aimlessly.

Reading this made Danny a bit concerned and texted back, asking: You guys need some help?

Lunette texted him back, assuring him: No, we're okay, for now (wink emoji) But thank you for asking

Danny forms a small smile and texted back: Alright… But just if you and Danuta really need help from 'The ghost boy' (ghost emoji) 'he's' not far away (wink emoji)

Lunette typed a message back: (Many laughing emoji's) Okay, if we do, you'll be the first to know.

Danny then types his last message for the night to her: Okay… Goodnight, Lun (Kiss emoji)

Lunette: (Deeply blushing emoji) (Smile emoji) Sleep well… ghost boy… (Kiss emoji)

The next day at Casper High…

Danny and Tucker walked through the hallway together. After Danny had told him what Sam said and did at the movie theatre, surprised Tucker as this was not the Sam he thought he knew.

"Seriously? She then forcefully kissed you like that?" Tucker asks. He forms a grin for a moment "Though I never would refuse a kiss from a girl," but then his smile faded "but forced to be kissed? That's a step too far for me."

Danny shook his head, feeling angry after Sam insulted Lunette like that, but also blaming himself for not realizing sooner what kind of person Sam truly is "I feel so stupid. If I'd just known this before or was just a bit more smarter, maybe I could've… I don't know."

Tucker nods and pats his shoulder "I know it's rough, dude. I mean, I never expected her to act like this despite she'd always been…" he stops himself from talking further.

Hearing that made Danny look surprised at Tucker as he stops "Always had been? What do you mean by that?"

Tucker felt a bit of nervousness rising "Uhh… well…"

"Wait… You knew? All this time you knew Sam liked me?!"

Seeing that at this point he could no longer hide it, he sighs in defeat "Well… yes. I… kinda knew it for years."

"WHAT?!" Danny calls with a mixture of shock and anger.

Tucker raises his hands "I'm sorry, but… Sam made me to keep her feelings for you a secret as she wanted to tell you herself, someday."

Danny shook his head, feeling a mixture of anger and bits of betrayal "Unbelievable, Tuck! I've always been honest to you and never kept any secrets from you! And you just…!" he buried his head in his hands "Is there no one else in the world that I can trust?!" He then walks away, leaving Tucker.

"Wait, Danny! Where are you going?" Tucker asks as he went after him, but Danny transformed into his ghost half and phases out of the school.

Tucker felt now really stupid too, knowing that Danny was right as he never kept any secrets from him "Great. Nice going, Tucker Foley! I should've told him from the start."

Danny was sitting on top of a building, wanting to be alone with his thoughts. Though he was a bit angry at Tucker for never having told him about Sam's secret crush for him, Danny was more angry at himself for not being smart enough to figure this out himself.

At this point, Danny was at a crossroads. Either he would try to save what little is left of their friendship and talk it out with Sam in the hopes that she would accept Lunette being around him, or that he would decide to throw the towel in the ring and trying to move on with his life without Sam's friendship.

Danny thought deep about this as this was a very hard choice for him to make. He has been friends with Sam ever since Elementary School and she has always been a big support to him and Tucker, but after last night, seeing what kind of a person Sam has become and how obsessive she is whenever he likes someone else and only wants to change things the way into her liking without any regards for other people, and how much of a jealous person she is whenever he hangs around with other girls, Danny was unsure if their friendship would still work. And when thinking back that she never took the chance to give Valerie, Star, Kwan or Paulina a second chance as they've clearly changed for the better, especially the awful things she said about Lunette, Danny doubted that Sam even wants to give people a second chance.

Danny buries his face in his hands, as he feels like he doesn't know anymore what to do "Dammit Sam… Why do you have to be such difficult person."

Then, Danny received a text message on his phone, seeing it's Tucker, saying:

Danny, please! I'm sorry that I never told you that Sam liked you more than a friend! I know I should've told you sooner, but I couldn't.

Danny sighs and puts his phone away, not sure if he should answer.

But knowing that he can't stay on top of a building the whole day, Danny began to stand up and flew away, heading back to Casper High.

Danny received another message from Tucker, saying:

Please, Danny, talk to me! I'm sorry! I'm really really really really sorry!

Knowing that Tucker probably didn't meant it to keep this secret forever, Danny send a message back:

We can talk later. See you in class.

As he was halfway back to school, Danny began to think about Lunette and forms a dreamy smile as he now knows that Lunette also likes him more than a friend.

"If Lunette likes me also, then… maybe today would be the best time to tell her I feel the same!" Danny said to himself enthusiastically as he stops midair, but then began to feel ab it nervous "Oh man… What should I tell her?" but then shrugs and resumes his way back to school "Ah well. I guess the words will come out naturally."

Meanwhile, back at Casper High, with Lunette…

Danuta and Lunette were in one of the hallways, close to their lockers. Danuta was holding several papers of 'evidence' she had collected last night while Lunette was taking out her books from her locker and puts them in her schoolbag.

"All the recordings couldn't have been disrupted and erased the videotape the moment of the attack on the newspaper on its own, Lun!" Danuta said with a very serious tone "I'm saying that someone has been messing up with the evidence!"

"But who could it be, Danu?" Lunette asks while closing her locker "The security guard on duty has already been questioned by the police."

Danute took out another paper, showing the working schedule of the security guard "He wasn't even in his office of the moment of the attack!" and then showed a picture of the lock of the security office "And look at the scratches on the security lock! There are scratches on it!"

Lunette raised an eyebrow as she looks at the picture, with Danuta having put red markings on the places that weren't supposed to be on the lock.

"Meaning?" she asks.

"It shows that the lock was forcefully opened, that someone has broken into the security's office, messed up the recordings so they could demolish the Casper Hi-Lited paper office and hospitalized Will!" Danuta says out loudly.

Lunette was somewhat impressed with how Danuta has been able to get all of this evidence, but then asks Danuta "This is all very well thought over, Danu, but the question is; who did it and who wants to destroy our school paper?"

Danuta sighs deep as she puts her gathered 'evidence' back in her backpack "I don't know, Lunette…" but then shows a very determined face "But I'm gonna find out."

Then the school bell rang.

"Oh. Looks like we better go to our separate classes," Lunette says before they both departed "See you later, Danu!"

As Lunette was walking a bit faster to make it in time for French class, going down the stairs, bypassing the last few students in the hallway that went into their classes, Lunette was suddenly grabbed and pulled into a hallway before being pushed hard against some lockers!

Lunette looks and sees it was Sam who'd pinned her against the lockers, seeing her hair messed up, dry tears down her cheeks and a kind of rage that she's never seen before in anyone else, horrifying her.

"YOU… BITCH!" Sam yells as she slams Lunette hard against the lockers again!

"Sam…!" Lunette said, still horrified how angry Sam is "What are you doing?!" but her words were cut short when Sam slapped her hard in the face, making Lunette yelp as she falls on the ground!

"You… turned Danny against me!" Sam yells out before grabbing Lunette by the collar and raises her up "It's all your fault, you fucking bitch! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!" and slaps Lunette 2 times more in the face, making her lip bleed!

"No! Sam, stop! Please!" Lunette yells, begging Sam to stop and screams "HELP! AAAH! Stop! Sam, please, stop!"

That was when Danny phases through a wall, entering the school before turning tangible and transformed back into his human form.

"AAAAH! STOP! NOO, SAM!" Danny heard Lunette screaming, shocking him and ran as fast as he could where he heard her! After running through a few hallways, he spots Lunette being slapped in the face multiple times by Sam.

Tears fell down from Sam's eyes while still having so much anger "You just had to enter Danny's life AND TAKE HIM FROM ME!" she then slaps her very hard, making Lunette trip and hit a wall "Now because of YOU he will NEVER LOVE ME!" Sam charged at her while Lunette cried while protecting her face with her arms.

But just before Sam could deliver another blow, her wrist was held tight, preventing her from hitting Lunette. Sam looks with anger… before her face turns shocked as she sees it was Danny, looking very angry at her.

"Sam, what the hell are you doing?!" Danny yells before pushing Sam away hard, making her trip and fall on the floor "Have you lost your mind?!"

"Danny…" Sam said, being in deep shock that Danny saw her blowing out all her anger on Lunette "I…"

Danny looked with such anger at Sam for daring to hurt the girl he loves. All his doubt to maybe try to give Sam another chance all faded away because of this single act of violence.

Danny felt so much anger building inside of him, making his eyes glow green while he panted. He wanted to transform and teach Sam a very hard lesson, which even horrified Sam.

But just as Danny was a second away from transforming into Danny Phantom, Lunette held his hand.

Danny gasps and looks at her. Besides the bruises on her face and her bleeding lip, Lunette's eyes told everything what Lunette was trying to say and not wanting him from turning into a monster just because of what happened to her.

All of that rage in him began to fade and his eyes returned back to normal. But a small part of his anger for what Sam did still remained. He looks back at Sam with so much disappointment.

"Danny…!" Sam tried to say, still shocked that he'd seen it all and tried to explain "I… I'm sorry, I… I didn't wanted to go this far, I was just… so angry…"

Danny shook his head while holding Lunette close "All these years… I've been trying to cope with your methods and accept your beliefs in creating a 'better world'. But I never expected you to turn so violent when things don't go your way. I've been giving you so many chances to see that people can be so much more than what they're now and can become better, but I guess you're too blind to see it and too stubborn to trust other people than yourself!"

"And you… trust her?" Sam asks with some anger before new tears fell from her eyes "Why can't you see that I was trying to save what we still have, Danny? Why can't you see that Lunette has turned you against me?!"

Danny shook his head "After what you did… there's nothing left between us worth to be saved."

Sam looks with shocked wide teary eyes at Danny "You don't mean that…"

Danny shook his head again "It's over, Sam. I want nothing more to do with you."

New tears began to fall down Sam's cheeks, horrified and heartbroken after hearing those words from him "Danny… No…"

Danny then turns and left with Lunette while still holding her close. He didn't looked back at Sam, not even sharing one more word with her. He walked away from her and whatever last bit of friendship that was still left.

"Danny, no…!" Sam reached out her arm as she watched him going away with Lunette. Sam, shocked to the core and heartbroken than she's ever felt before, fell on her knees and cried "No…! Please, Danny… don't go…!" she held her hands on her face and cried out her tears.

Some time later, at the school nurse's office…

The school nurse, a Caucasian woman named Bella Leaf, who's 41 years old, having short brown hair, a curvy body and wearing a nurse outfit, carefully disinfected the small cut on Lunette's forehead by carefully dipping antiseptic using a gauze swab.

After she was done, the school nurse said after putting an adhesive bandage on the wound, "There. At least it won't get infected."

"Thank you, Miss Leaf," Lunette said.

Danny, who had come into the nurse's office a few minutes ago, sits next to Lunette and holds her hand to comfort her.

That was when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Miss Leaf said.

The door opens, revealing to be Lancer and says as he walks over to Lunette and asks with sympathy, "How are you feeling, Miss Kaye?"

Lunette sighs "I've been better, Mr. Lancer."

Miss Leaf gave Lunette a pain killer tablet "Here, take this. It'll reduce the pain." Lunette took the pill and swallowed it in before drinking some water.

Lancer then tells Danny "You did the right thing to come to me after what had happened, Mr. Fenton. Miss Manson will be punished properly after this."

Though Danny didn't cared anymore about Sam as his friendship with her is truly over, he still asked "What will happen to her now? Is she going to be suspended?"

Lancer shook his head "No, that would be too harsh at the moment as this is Miss Manson's first serious offense at school. I think a full week detention will be enough." He then turns to Lunette and assures her "Listen, if it's too much for you, you can go have the rest of the day off and go home. There's no shame in missing out one school day after what happened to you."

Lunette thought for a moment before she gave a nod and said, "Yeah… I… think I want to go home."

Lancer gave her a gentle pad on the shoulder "I understand. I'll inform your parents of what has happened."

As Lancer was about to leave, Danny asks Lancer, "Mr. Lancer, if it's okay, I… I'll bring Lunette home."

Lancer raised an eyebrow at him before he gave his approval "Very well. But you return back to school as soon as you've brought Miss Kaye home."

Danny nods, promising that he will come back to school after bringing Lunette home. He takes Lunette's hand and both began to leave.

A few minutes later, in Lancer's office

Sam sat on a chair in front of the vice-principal, who's looking down at her with a lot of disappointment at her for what she did to Lunette.

"Your actions today are completely unacceptable, Miss Manson!" Lancer said "Never, I mean, NEVER, do we tolerate any sorts of violence in this school!"

Though Sam was still saddened after Danny had broken their friendship, she looks down in defeat "I… I'm sorry, Mr. Lancer… I didn't mean to do that, I was just so… so angry."

"Then you can use this valuable time serving detention by LEARNING to control these anger issues of yours, for the rest of the week!" Lancer said before walking to the door and opens it "I expect you in detention class as soon as your final period ends. Now move on, Miss Manson."

Sam left Lancer's office, still looking down in defeat.

At that moment, Valerie walks up to her and asks, "Hey, Sam!" Sam looks at her with her sad expression "Have you seen Danny anywhere? I… I need to talk to him." Valerie states with some discomfort as she wanted to talk to him if her suspicions are true and Danny is truly the ghost-boy she's been hunting this whole time. Though it came at a great shock to Valerie, she has been thinking about this revelation nearly all night, seeing that perhaps he isn't that evil ghost-boy who'd ruined her life and is causing all of this trouble around town.

Sam however gave a sad sigh and left, bypassing Valerie without saying a word.

Valerie looks confused, wandering what's bothering Sam so much and why she came out of Lancer's office so depressed and sad.

Meanwhile, with Danny and Lunette…

Danny and Lunette walked together across the street, heading to her home.

There was an moment of silence between them ever since they left school together, neither knowing what to say.

Lunette, taking some courage, took a deep sigh before finally breaking the silence and tells him, "Hey, uhm… I'm… sorry what happened out there between you and Sam."

Danny stops and looks confused at her "What are you talking about? Sam was the one who was hurting you. You have nothing to apologize for."

"I know, it's just…!" Lunette buried her face in her hands "You and Sam have been friends for so long and… I don't know… I somehow feel so guilty for you to end your friendship with her, thinking that I was the reason."

Danny assured her when he took her hand and says, "You don't have to feel guilty about it, Lun. Sure, I do feel bad about it, but… honestly, Sam has brought this on herself for being jealous about us being together."

Lunette blinked her eyes in surprise "She was… jealous?"

Danny nods "Yeah…"

Lunette could feel that this might have something to do what had happened last night when he and Sam didn't went to see a movie together "What happened last night, Danny?"

Danny sighs as he and Lunette walked further, with him still holding her hand "Well, at the movies, I was trying to ask Sam what had been bothering her for so long and why she was avoiding us all. She was trying to hide it but after I kept pushing the issue… she finally told everything and…" he looks at her and tells "She told that she thought all this time that you have been manipulating me and everyone in order to know my deepest secrets and use me for your own benefits."

"What?" Lunette said in surprise as that's something she would never do to anyone.

"She kept saying how much she hates me hanging out with you. And then she said that… she was in love with me this whole time."

Lunette was even more surprised but then thought back when Sam beat her up in her jealous rage of her 'stealing Danny away' and 'that he will never love her now'. "This… explains everything."

Danny nodded and then frowned before telling the part that 'disgusted' him "Yeah. And before I could say anything, she… Sam forcefully kissed me, thinking that I would accept her feelings just like that!"

"She did what?" she asked shocked as they stopped in front of her house.

Danny shook his head as he stated, "But I pushed her off of me, telling her that I don't feel that way about her. I then finally realized that all this time she was the problem and told her that she was the one who's been using ME and my powers for HER own benefits!" Danny got even more frustrated "I even told her that she's nowhere near you, Lunette! That you're a great person! You're caring… supportive and… you've always been there for me and all of us!"

As Danny told in his frustration what he thinks about her, Lunette began to blush.

"You're like a thousand times more worth than Sam."

A smile grew on Lunette's face, making her to put a piece of her hair behind her ear "You… you really think so?"

Danny nods. He took both her hands, ready to tell what he feels about her "I just… can't imagine my life without you anymore, Lunette. I think that… without you in it… I wouldn't be the guy I am now. You've changed my life, Lun… and I would do anything to keep it, to always taking care of you and be there for you… just as how much you've been there for me."

Hearing those words, Lunette couldn't believe her ears, feeling butterflies in her belly. Her eyes were sparkling with love.

"Oh… Danny…"

Danny softly placed his hands on her cheeks.

As his face slowly moved closer to hers, Lunette's eyes went wide as she realized what he was about to do. She didn't moved nor try to push him away.

And then…

Their lips touched.

Lunette, though she was a bit shocked that he was kissing her, slowly gave in and closed her eyes… returning the kiss as she puts her arms around his neck. Lunette felt like she was in heaven. Never she could've imagined how amazingly her first kiss would be… and now that she was sharing it with the guy she's truly in love with… Lunette wished it would never end.

Slowly, after a minute of sharing their soft kiss, both slowly separated and looked into each other's eyes.

Danny didn't know what he was feeling. Feeling amazingly great after this. He forms a smile "That was… wow…"

Lunette gave a small nod, feeling the same thing as she smiles. "Yeah…" she then tells him, "I… too can't imagine my life without you, Danny. You… Danny Fenton… my ghost hero…"

This was such a beautiful moment between them, showing each other that they really liked each other and want to be more than just friends. Any doubt they had have all vanished. All that they felt… was love.

But as they lean in, being only inches away of sharing another kiss… they were interrupted when the front door opens, revealing to be Lunette's mom, Lin.

Both awkwardly broke each other's embrace while blushing deep.

Lin though was not so surprised of seeing her daughter and Danny together and forms a small smile, being happy for Lunette.

Danny then tells her "I… I'll come and… see you after school, okay?"

Lunette smiled back at him "Yeah… I'll… see you then."

Danny nods and then walks away while Lunette went inside her home.

Once he was out of sight, Danny felt like he wanted to shout out it loud with happiness. All the negativity that he felt earlier after breaking his friendship with Sam were all gone as he'd finally had his very first kiss with Lunette. He transformed into his ghost-form and flew with speed high into the air "YAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Back with Lunette, she watched him from the window in her bedroom. With a long dreamy sigh, she let herself fall on her bed. This moment felt like a dream had come true.

I first intended to add a lot more to this chapter, which includes who was behind the attack on the Casper High's school paper and had hospitalized William, but I'll leave that for the third and final chapter, which includes a lot more excitement, bit more action packed and very surprising things. And don't worry, I'm not going to wait that long as I'm going to work on that as soon as possible so I won't have to keep you all waiting for that long again.
