Prince William
I could not keep my eyes off my beautiful Dove from the moment I awoke. She's pretty feisty; I can tell from last night.
However, above everything else, she is a beauty; I knew that from the moment I saw her.
Flashback
"What are you doing riding this late at night, young lady?" I asked her as she smiled before turning to her horse.
"You sound like my aunt," she said as she got up on her horse and smiled at her.
"What are you doing out, late, prince?" she asked as I frowned, confused.
"How do you know?" I asked as she smiled.
"The closest thing here is the palace; besides, no one wears those fancy clothes," she said as I chuckled slightly.
"Got a name?" I asked, and she smiled.
"Wouldn't you like to know," she said as I smiled.
End of Flashback
When I remember the night, I first met her, I couldn't help but smile and slightly chuckle. She was pretty feisty from the start.
If I'm being honest, that's what got my attention. Rosalie is not like the rest. She's different, more like Liz.
If I had known who she was at that moment and that she would be my wife later on,I wouldn't have let her return to that hell home.
'However, how were we supposed to know? It's funny how things turned out in the end.' I thought as I traced my fingers down her cheek.
I can't help but remember how beautiful she looked yesterday, like a true Queen, as many would say. I would say like an authentic Dove.
Her dress was so beautiful, and I'd say it represented her very well. However, I was pretty surprised about many things.
First, there were the decorations. I thought she would have wanted something basic and simple, yet it didn't look like it.
I couldn't help but wonder if my Dove really put a lot of emphasis on it because, deep down, she did want to get married or to put on a show.
If she did it because, deep down, she was excited, it explained a lot about why she took her claws out and decided to be feisty last night.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say she was jealous, which was cute. It made me chuckle a bit to think my Dove thought I would have a lover.
Then again, what everyone else was seeing and what I was doing didn't seem so innocent.
I could always let her know what I am doing, but if I'm being honest, I prefer not to. I don't want to involve her in these things.
It's not that I don't trust my little Dove; it's more that I don't want to involve her in something that could turn ugly.
We don't trust her Father, and that's a given, but I am not sure how far she's willing to go to ensure her Father gets what he deserves.
I don't want to put her in a situation where she feels she has to choose between her Father and though I may know who she will choose, I don't want her to have that remark on herself.
That's why it's better not to say anything, but then again, it forces me to deal with the real her and her feisty attitude.
I don't really mind it; however, I don't know my Dove fully well, and I admit I am a bit afraid that she will turn out to betray me.
If she had disobeyed her Father plenty of times and been sneaky behind his back, I didn't want to think about what she was doing now that she was free.
A knock at the door interrupted my thoughts; I quickly got up and put on my robe before answering the door.
It was Isaac with our breakfast. I couldn't help but chuckle slightly. How cliché! This was their sign for us to take our time as newlyweds.
"Your breakfast, Your Majesty," said Isaac as I smiled and took the tray.
"Thank you, Isaac," I said, smiling as he nodded and left. I closed the door, turned, walked to the coffee table, and placed the breakfast.
Once I set the tray down, I saw my Dove getting off the bed and tying her robe.
"Good morning, Dove," I said, smirking as she yawned and rubbed her eyes.
"Good morning," she said, looking down before looking up.
"They brought us breakfast?" She asked as I smiled and nodded.
"Of course, we are newlyweds, Dove," I said, opening thelid of the plateand taking a bite at the toast before handing her one.
She raised her eyebrow before taking the toast and taking a small bite herself as I couldn't help but chuckle.
"If I were going to drug or poison you, I wouldn't have taken a bite of it myself, little Dove," I said as she rolled her eyes.
"I wouldn't have believed you even if you would have told me," she said as I smirked at her.
"Really?" I asked, taking another bite as she nodded.
"And why is that?" I asked as she smiled.
"Isaac was the one who brought the breakfast, not you. So, if anything, it could be someone else trying to poison me and not you," She said as I nodded.
"Smart," I said as she blushed slightly.
"Still, they shouldn't have gone through the fuss; we could have gone down," she said as I smiled and ate my toast, listening to her.
"They're basically saying take your time, here's food. Don't bother coming out," she said as I chuckled at this.
"Are you upset that you have to go out? Or that nothing happened?" I asked, giving her a glass of orange juice. She blushed before shaking her head.
"In your dreams," she said as I smiled.
"Always," I said, smirking as her eyes widened, and I quickly stood up and finished my orange juice.
"I have something to go over with my Father, but I will be back later," I said as she nodded.
"Dinner time?" She asked as I nodded.
"Most likely; feel free to walk around, but under no circumstances leave the castle unattended," I said as she looked at me, confused.
"Why?" She asked, raising her eyebrow.
"Don't let your wife leave the castle alone, and if you two leave, ensure you have enough guards,"
"Someone is planning to get close to your wife, don't give themthe chance,"
"William?" Asked my little Dove as I shook my head and looked at her, giving me a confused look.
"No reason," I said, walking to the closet. She stood up and followed me.
"No, something is up. What is it?" She asked, raising her eyebrow as we entered the closet.
"Don't worry about it, Dove," I said as I turned left and looked for my clothes.
I could feel her stare piercing through me, though. Once I turned around, I noticed her standingin front ofme with her arms crossed.
'Oh boy.' I thought as I took a deep breath as she raised her eyebrow.
"So, I can't visit Lily?" She asked me as I smiled.
"That's not what I said. You can go. Just take a guard with you," I said, walking out as she followed.
"Talk about being a prisoner. How am I supposed to feel free to walk around when I'm under surveillance?" she asked as we walked out, and I turned to look at her.
"Just…. Just trust me, Dove. Please," I said as she sighed and nodded.
"I mean it," I said seriously this time. I could see a hint of fear in her eyes as she nodded.
"I will not leave the castle unescorted," she said as I smiled slightly at her before kissing her cheek.
"Thank you. I will see you later, okay?" I asked as she nodded, and I headed to the bathroom to change quickly.
Once I was done and walked out, I noticed she wasn't in the room, but the closet door was still open.
'She must be getting ready for the day.' I thought as I walked out and headed to my Father's office.
On my way there, I couldn't help but think of last night's events. I hid the present in the one place I knew she wouldn't look.
But it wasn't that specifically that got me thinking; it was more about what happened as soon as I exited the room after the argument.
Flashback
As I walked out of the room, I quickly stopped outside our room and took a few deep breaths; I needed to calm down.
My little Dove had pushed the limits tonight, first the part of me getting a lover and then suggesting she was going to get one.
At that moment, my blood boiled so much; in fact, it still did, which is why I decided to leave the room.
I didn't trust myself with my anger; It was like my Father and GrandDad always said: "In anger, one will say anything, and once it's said, it is hard to take back,"
I decided to make my way towards the library. I needed time alone to think, but I had to be careful.
There were still many people up who would wonder why I was out here instead of consummating my marriage.
At the thought of that, I couldn't help but chuckle. You would think I would, but if my little Dove said no, it was a hard no.
I wouldn't force her to do anything she didn't want to do; besides, I don't think it would be a good thing.
There are too many things that aren't connecting and making sense, even though we are legally married. Till death do us part, I didn't want it to get messy.
My little Dove and I aren't in the situation I hoped we would be in by now; still, I don't know what happened.
We were doing so well, andthensuddenly everything turned; more specifically, it was after Wassalia day.
As I was walking, I heard footsteps and began to prepare for the scolding I knew my family would give me.
However, once I looked ahead, I saw a familiar face, but it wasn't my blood family; it was Celeste.
"Celeste?" I asked in a low voice. She quickly turned in fear but calmed down when she saw it was me.
"Prince William, thank goodness it is you," she said, worried as I raised my eyebrow.
"Celeste, is something wrong?" I asked as she shook her head.
"No, I am just waiting for my King to return so we can leave," she said as I raised my eyebrow.
'He hasn't left yet? I thought he would have left by now?' I thought, confused.
"I thought you guys would have been home by now?" I asked as she sighed.
"I thought so, too, but he said he needed to speak with King Hugo," she said, and I looked surprised.
'My Father?' I thought, confused, as I couldn't help but think of what Daleyza told me earlier in the day.
"'Trust no one, apart from your family. I heard there might be a mole around you,'"
"How long has he been gone for?" I asked as she shrugged.
"A while, actually, possibly 10 minutes," she said as I nodded.
'Probably looking for the mole.' I thought as I sighed.
"Celeste, can I ask you a question?" I asked as she smiled and nodded.
"Of course, young prince," she said, smiling as I smiled.
"You know Rosalie well," I started but stopped as she nodded.
"I practically raised her; her mother died the moment she was brought into the world," she said, upset as I nodded.
"Would you say she would do something unpredictable?" I asked as she looked at me, confused.
"I don't understand?" She asked as I thought for a moment.
"Do you think she is capable of betraying someone?" I asked, slightly embarrassed as Celeste smiled at me.
"A Rose without her thorns isn't a Rose at all, or else things can get complicated," said Celeste as I looked at her confused.
"Your majesty, there is so much you have yet to learn about my little one, and that is on her," she said, smiling as I frowned, confused.
"She can be a feisty child at times, rebellious even though she would never do anything without thinking twice," she said as I nodded.
"With that in mind, do you think sheis capable of betrayingsomeone?" She asked as I shook my head.
"No, not unless her family was in danger," I said as she smiled and nodded.
"Precisely, it's not the best answer, but that's the one you're getting from me," she said, smiling as I chuckled.
"I know my Rosalie can be a challenge at times, but she's been through a lot," she said as I listened.
"Poor child doesn't even know whento fully trust someone, and I don't blame her. I didn't always stand up for her," she said, upset and ashamed, as I took her hands.
"Celeste, you did everything you could, and Rosalie knows that. She loves you so much, for goodness's sake," I said as she smiled with tears.
"We can't change the past, but we can change the future. As long as she's with me, I will protect her," I said as Celeste smiled.
"I knew you were meant for her the moment I saw you," she said, smiling as I chuckled.
"Celeste, I want to ask you for a big favor," I said as she nodded.
"I want you to move in with us, here in the castle. I know it will make Rosalie happy," I said as she sighed.
"I wish I could, but his majesty won't let me go," she said as I nodded.
"I know, he wants to use you as a pawn for Rosalie," I said as her eyes widened.
"All I need to know is if you trust me?" I asked as she nodded.
"When the time is right, I will have someone bring you over. In the meantime, try to stay hidden and have the king see you less," I said as she nodded.
"That won't be a problem; the king isn't home most of the time," she said as I looked at her, confused.
"Meetings?" I asked as she shrugged.
"Must be, but at times, he pops out of nowhere after being gone hours, and this carriage was home the whole time," she said as I thought for a moment.
"Do you think you could keep me posted about what he does?" I asked as she sighed but nodded.
"I can be a card you get and receive from your sister," I added as she nodded.
"Perfect," she said as I nodded.
I was about to say something else when I heard footsteps approaching from far as I looked at her.
"I have to go," I said as she nodded.
"Please take good care of my Rosalie," she said as I smiled and nodded.
"Of course," I said before leaving and headingoverto the library.
End of flashback
The good thing was that we had someone from our side at Ricardo's place, but the bad news was that he might have someone in ours.
As I reached my Father's office, I knocked before hearing him tell me to enter. As I did, he looked at me confused as I saw him, GrandDad, and Edward sitting.
"Up already?" He asked as I nodded.
"Yes," I said, entering as I saw Edward and GrandDad trying not to chuckle.
"Drop it," I said as Edward smirked.
"Guessing it didn't go well last night," said Edward, smirking as I gave him a look.
"At least I am doing better than you," I said as he snorted.
"Yeah, right, in your dreams, brother," he said, smiling as I smirked at him.
"I have a wife waiting for me, yet you can't tell that girl how you feel," I said as his eyes widened.
"What?" Exclaimed GrandDad and Dad as I smirked, and he gave me the death look.
"Who is she?" Asked GrandDad.
"Do we know her?" Asked Dad as Edward shook his head.
"No, and I am not talking about this with you guys," he said, looking at me upset.
"Sorry baby bro, but if you are going to mess in with my life, don't feel hurt when I return the hit to you," I said, smiling as he rolled his eyes.
"Fine, I'll stop," he said as I smiled.
"Anyways," I started, but my GrandDad cut me off.
"No, no, no. Wait. We have to talk about that girl. Who is she?" GrandDad asked, as Dad chuckled and shook his head.
"Dad, leave him be; Edward will tell us when he's ready. Don't bud in," he said as Edward smiled.
"Thanks, Dad," he said as Dad smiled at him.
"Just one clue, do we know her?" Added GrandDad as Edward rolled his eyes.
"I doubt it, and that's all you're getting," he said as GrandDad looked disappointed.
"Anyways, returning to what I came here for," I said as they looked at me.
"I have some information," I added as Dad nodded.
"As do I. It seems King Lyvot has gone into hiding," said Dad as my eyes widened.
"What?" Asked Edward, confused as I shook my head.
"The bastard knew they would call him up for his mistake and decided to identify instead of facing the truth," I added as Dad nodded.
"Which makes him guilty in many people's eyes," said GrandDad as I nodded.
"Could his son be hiding him?" I asked as they shrugged.
"Honestly, I don't know," said Dad.
"He would be a fool to do it, though. They could strip him of his title," said GrandDad as I nodded.
"What about his friend? Ricardo?" I asked as they thought for a moment.
"Could be, but we'd need actual proof of that," Said Dad as GrandDad nodded.
"Good thing we have someone on our side," I said as their eyes widened.
"Who?" they all exclaimed as I smiled.
"For their protection and ours, I can't say, especially from what I heard from another source," I said as they looked confused.
"We may have a spy," I said as Dadlet out a sighand closed his eyes.
"Again," he said, shaking his head before standing up.
"What do you mean again?" I asked as he walked towards the window beforeturning around to faceme.
"After your Mother and I married, we had a spy in the castle. Unfortunately, we didn't know who it was until it was too late," he said as my eyes widened.
"They took Mom," I said as Dad nodded.
"I will check all the staff in the castle and not hire anyone new for a while until this blows down," said Dad as I sighed.
"But what if they're already here, Dad?" I asked as he sighed.
"That's where it gets tricky. We need to ensure we have our eyes and ears open. Any suspicious activity, and they're out," said Dad as we nodded.
"So, let me get this straight: You have an informer in Ricardo's castle and another one that lets you know if we're in danger?" Asked Edward as I nodded, smiling.
"How do you know they're reliable sources, though?" Asked Dad as I smiled.
"Trust me, Dad. You taught me well, and these sources are valuable," I said as he sighed and nodded before smiling.
"Which reminds me, did Ricardo speak with you last night?" I asked Dad as he looked at me confused and shook his head.
"No, we never spoke. Was he looking for me?" asked Dad as I sighed.
'That damn liar.' I thought before shaking my head.
"No, I'm just curious," I said. Dad raised his eyebrow, not believing me, but he decided to let it be for now.
"Did this source bring you any news apart from us having a mole?" Asked Edward as I smiled at him.
"You know what they actually did, and I think it caused you to get a new job, baby-bro," I said to him as he looked confused.
"Me?" He asked, confused as I smiled and nodded.
"Yes, you," I said as he raised his eyebrow.
"Since you have great training and are essentially a knight at this point…" I started as he shook his head, understanding what I meant.
"Oh, no. I do not offer babysitting services," he said, crossing his arms as I looked at him.
"Come on, apart from me, you're the only other person I know who has great skills," I said as I heard Dad clear his throat.
"We're still here, you know," added GrandDad as I smiled.
"I know, and I appreciate the skills, but Edward is better for the job," I said as they rolled their eyes.
"Nope," he said as I raised my eyebrow at him.
"Are you going to make me beg?" I asked as he smirked.
"Maybe," he said as I rolled my eyes.
"As Dad said, we need to keep our eyes and ears open," I said as they looked at me confused.
"I was advised not to let my wife leave the castle unattended," I said as their eyes widened.
"That sounds like a threat to me," said Dad as GrandDad nodded.
"I would take that as a serious precaution; Iwouldn't want the same thing to happen like last time," added GrandDad as Dad nodded.
"What happened last time?" Asked Edward as Dad sighed, looking at GrandDad.
"They tried killing your Mother outside our castle, as a matter of fact," added GrandDad as Dad nodded.
"That is why I say you are the perfect candidate to ensure this is avoided," I said, turning to Edward, who sighed and nodded.
"It will be my honor to protect the future queen," he said as I smiled and padded his shoulder.
"Thanks, brother," I said, smiling as he returned the smile.
"Should I start my babysitting services now?" He asked as I chuckled.
"No, not today. I told her not to leave the castle today. I will let her know about the new change later," I said as he nodded.
"What do we do in the meantime?" Asked Edward as I looked at Dad, and he smiled.
"We wait," said Dad as GrandDad nodded.
"We wait, and we hope they give us valuable information on Ricardo and that Lyvot makes his presence known," said GrandDad as I nodded.
"I doubt it. He knows that as soon as he's found, he's going to jail and will be stripped of his title," I said as they nodded.
"True, but maybe he will riseupand ask for help from his accomplice," said Dad as I nodded.
"Have you heard anything from Hayden about his mother, Lady Malorie?" I asked as Dad shook his head.
"Last I heard, he was taking the role of the lord of Aragon, working with Prince Eleazar," said Dad as I looked confused.
"Hayden is helping him?" I asked, confused, as Dad nodded.
"Does he not know what to do?" I asked, chuckling slightly as they shrugged.
"It seems to me that he's not fit to be king, then," I said as they gave me a look that said it all.
"Snobby people should be given a chance brother," said Edward as I shook my head and GrandDad nodded.
"They might surprise you," added GrandDad as I shook my head.
"I doubt it," I said as GrandDad smiled before looking at Dad, and he chuckled slightly.
"Would you believe it if I said I was like that before?" Asked Dad as I raised my eyebrow.
"You snobby?" I asked as he nodded.
"And Rude, arrogant, cocky, should I keep going?" Asked GrandDad as Dad chuckled.
"No, I think Sofia will win at that," said Dad as I looked at him surprised.
"What happened?" Asked Edward, confused as he and GrandDad smiled as I knew what had happened.
"Mom," I said, looking at Edward as they nodded.
"All it took was one person to change me; maybe that's all Prince Eleazar needs," said GrandDad as I snorted.
"Yeah, but he needs to get it through his skull that it's not my wife," I said as they chuckled.
"Been there," said Dad.
"Done that," added GrandDad as we all chuckled.
"Do you think Hayden will help us?" I asked as they shrugged.
"You never know unless you try," asked Dad as I nodded.
We could try, but then again, I am not sure if I could trust him. He's too close to the enemy. As far as I know, he could be working with them.
"Has he found his Mother yet?" Asked GrandDad as Dad shook his head.
"No, and I don't think he will until he sees that all this is calmed down," said Dad as I nodded.
I knew very well Hayden wouldn't risk summoning his Mother with all the trouble that is happening right now; it would be a suicidal risk.
For one thing, Lyvot would want her dead because, thanks to Dad's memories, she technically testified against him.
Neither he nor his aunt Lucinda would risk summoning her back to put her in danger. Even though Lyvot is missing, you never know who is watching.
"It's better this way, the good thing is that he knows she is safe," I said as they nodded.
"King Bailey will find him and bring him to justice, causing peace between the lands again," said Dad as I smiled and nodded.
We reviewed our future construction plans for Whelsire for the rest of the evening.
This included tax cuts or adjustments, new trade, answering party invitations, party planning reservations, etc...
"Why don't I have you and Rosalie attend this one while your Mom and I attend the one hosted by Corinthia?" I asked Dad as I raised my eyebrow.
We had two party invitations, one from Corinthia and anotheronefrom the kingdom of Shale.
"I will come if you need me to," said Edward as I shook my head.
"No, you will stay here," I said as he looked confused.
"Mom, Dad, and Liz will attend Corinthia's event, and we need someone here in case of anything," I said.
"Unless you want to come to the ball with us," said Dad as his eyes widened.
"No, thank you. I will stay here and see what is needed," he said, smiling as we chuckled. He smiled nervously.
"Don't worry, I will ensure he does what he needs to," said GrandDad as Dad and I nodded.
"It's all settled then?" Asked Dad as I nodded.
I can't really say no. I just hope my wife will go along with it and not complain or cause me any sort of trouble.
King Ricardo
Dear King Ricardo,
As you may have heard, King Hugo has been declared innocent of everything he was accused of, and we must now continue the rest of the investigation elsewhere. Unfortunately, this means looking into our dear friend King Lyvot. Surprisingly, he's disappeared and is nowhere to be found.
He must be found and held accountable for his actions. However, because of certain circumstances, I am sorry to have to inform you about a certain decision the council has made. Since you are considered to be one of his allies, your home will be searched with a warrant we have.
Please do not take it as an offense. It is protocol, and the same thing is happening at Lyvot's palace. His son is aware, and we are to search him tomorrow without him knowing. This way, if he is hiding, we want to catch them off guard, but because we are friends, I want to warn you. I will be seeing you in two days.
Sincerely, King Bailey.
I looked at the letter and began to crumple it, annoyed. I received this letter two days ago, and since I was busy preparing for Rosalie's wedding, I haven't had a chance to read it until now.
My stupid, idiot friend didn't listen to a word I said, and I was now going to pay the consequences for not following his 'genius plan,' as he calls it.
"Stupid idiot! Never listens to me," I said, standing up.
I didn't have much time to prepare; they would be here soon. I quickly looked into my new mail, hoping to find a new letter from King Bailey, but I found nothing.
"Damn it!" I exclaimed as I began to pace.
I was hoping I would receive another letter from him informing me that it was no longer necessary since they found something at his place.
However, since I didn't receive a letter, I just confirmed that they didn't find anything, which worried me a bit.
I left my office and headed to the room I knew I would find him in. I knocked on the door before he opened it.
"Ricardo?" He asked, confused as I sighed.
"Follow me, Lyvot," I said as he exited the room and began to follow me to my office. Once inside, I closed the door.
No one knew Lyvot was here except for my staff. However, I only had my new staff serve him since they didn't know who he was.
I knew my old staff would recognize him immediately, and I wanted to avoid that in a situation like this one.
If they questioned my old and new staff, neither would lie since half of them didn't know how he was, and the other half didn't knowhow he was here.
He never left his room anyway, but since I would have them look through the whole castle, I needed to hide him somewhere I knew they would never look.
I turned around and smiled at my friend before handing him the letter I had read today. As he read it, his eyes widened, and he looked at me.
"The fact that I haven't received a new letter meant that they found nothing at your palace or got information from your son," I said as he let out a deep breath he was holding.
"But I do need to hide you," I said as he nodded.
"However, once I hide you, it will be for good," I said as he looked confused.
"What do you mean?" He asked, confused. I turned away and smiled before facing him.
"If… I hide you; it's under my conditions, and you aren't coming back out until I say so," I said as he raised his eyebrow.
I knew very well that he was thinking about it and was unsure of what to do, so I smiled.
"Tic, tok. Tic tok, the clock is running;what's it going tobe, Lyvot?" I asked as he sighed.
"Will I be protected from going to jail?" He asked as I smiled and nodded.
"But of course, you have my word; you will never set a place in the council dungeons," I said as he nodded.
"Alright," he said as I smiled and nodded.
"Perfect, it's about time anyway," I said as he looked confused.
"For what?" He asked as I smiled and gestured for him to follow me behind my desk as I removed my red carpet.
Immediately, his eyes widened as I opened the small underground door, which revealed small steps, and we began to walk down.
As we walked down the steps, the torchesbegan to lightup one by one, causing the rats to scurry away quickly.
We passed by many cells, and I could feel a bit of concern and fear from him as I smiled. As we reached a familiar cell, I quickly stopped.
He was so distracted by looking around that it was easy for me to push him into a cell and quickly close the door.
I locked the door as he looked up at me, confused, before walking towards the locked door.
"W…w…what is this? Ricardo, come on, knock it off; it's not funny!" He said as I turned to the cell a few feet from him and walked over towards it.
"Oh, Benny boy, I brought you a friend to chat with," I said, smirking as he looked up. Then I turned to look at Lyvot's cell.
As I smiled, his eyes widened, and he seemed confused about what was going on.
"W-what is the main of this, Ricardo? I thought…" he stared, but I cut him off and walked towards the middle, away from both cells.
"What? That weak King Hugo did this? Oh no, this was all me, dear friend," I said, smirking as his eyes widened.
"You…You, traitor! I thought you were our friend!" He exclaimed as I smiled.
"Silly Lyvot, you two were mere pieces in the game; you're nothing but my pawn pieces," I said as Lyvot looked at me angrily.
"I will admit, you were my favorite Lyvot until you started to mess up, leaving me to clean up your mess," I growled, looking at him.
"So, I had no choice but to lock you up since I have no use for you either," I said looking at him before turning to lord Ben.
"They will find us!" He exclaimed as I chuckled at him.
"Oh really?" I asked, looking at Lord Ben again.
"Benny boy! Tell him if there's an escape or someone who has found you," I said, mocking Lyvot as Lord Ben looked at Lyvot.
"There is no way out; no one will come for us. I've been here for weeks, months maybe," he said as I smiled.
"It will be in six weeks, almost two months," I said, smiling at him before turning to look at Lyvot.
"Don't worry, you will get your food. I'm not that bad, and I am keeping my promise. Here, no one will find you," I said as he looked at me angrily.
"Well, I must go. King Bailey will be here soon, and I must prepare for the investigation." I said, smiling before walking off.
"You will pay for this, Ricardo! I swear you will pay for this!" He said as I walked further away from the cells before pressing a button.
It was then that I saw the doors close, revealing a wall-like door in front of me. You see, in case something were to happen, I made sure to add an extra feature.
I had a button that, once pushed, would automatically close the passage; however, the doors didn't look like doors.
It looked like a wall that had been standing there the whole time. All I needed was to add storage before it to make it a small storage place.
"Ricardo one, everyone else zero," I said as I smiled, preparing to give the order to clean up and move boxes to the floor of this cellar.
No one was going to discover me. I had a mission to complete, and I vowed to complete it, even if it was the last thing I did.
