Sorry this took a while. Once again, I had to split this up.
This is the ambush.
I know it's not much, but this whole battle scenario is weighing me down and I want to do other stuff too without keeping you guys waiting.
So I hope you like it!
Donald used his Keyblade and staff to create a Triple Thundaga spell to hit Merlock. Merlock shapeshifted into a hawk with his talisman and took to the air. He began to thrash Donald with his talons, but Donald recovered and casted Meteor to knock Merlock to the ground.
"Give it up, you dumb mutt! You're never gonna win!" Donald said, unleashing a Blizzaza spell at him.
Merlock cackled, sending a blast of electricity at Donald, striking him in the chest and knocking him into the wall. "Your second wind of determination, while unexpected, won't save you!"
Della clashed Godslayer against Don Karnage's spare sword. "Keep dreaming, Merlock! We're not going down so easily anymore!" she said, kicking Karnage in the stomach.
"Agh, you wretched lass!" Karnage growled, swiping his sword at Della's head.
But the duck pilot, well, ducked. Smirking, Della kicked Karnage in the knee with her metal leg and then punched him in the jaw.
"Whatever more tricks you got, we're ready for them all!" Donald said as he casted Ultima against Merlock, barely phasing him.
Merlock chuckled. "Oh, you naive, temperamental duck." he said, sending a blast of darkness at Donald that he managed to block with his weapons, sliding backwards from the impact. "What comes next… will show you the true meaning of evil!"
"Don't count on it!" Donald quacked as he casted Zero Graviga at the terrible magician.
But the Duck Twins didn't know what was being planned.
Outside:
At the same time, the rest of the Guardians of Light kept trying to break through the creatures of darkness to get into the castle.
"Coming down!" Oswald yelled as he casted Icicle Mine down on some Trick Wizards.
"Come and get it!" Lea yelled, casting Triple Firaga on several Hareraisers.
"Is that all you've got?!" Xion yelled as she casted Wind Tracer on three Samurais.
"Too slow!" Roxas yelled as he casted Thundaga Shot at a Neoshadow.
"Ugh, we have to get into the castle!" said Ortensia, firing an Ice Barrage spell against a Dragoon.
"Easier said than done, thanks to these freaks!" said Pence, dodging the boxing gloves of a Rush Ghost.
"Still, we gotta break through this soon! Otherwise, Donald, Daisy, and the others will be in serious trouble!" said Hayner as he casted Wateraga on two Scrappers.
"Yes, but we won't be able to help them unless we get past that Demon Tide that's blocking our way forward!" said Isa, jamming his Keyblade into a Berserker.
And Isa was correct. The Demon Tide slammed into the ground, knocking everyone across the yard.
Sora landed in a thorn bush of roses. He screamed as he jumped into the air, coated in thorns. "SPIKY!" he yelled.
"You already are!" joked Lea, grabbing a Nightwalker by the wrist, punching it in the face and stomach before he side-kicked it into a wall, throwing a ball of fire at it to light it up.
"I hope the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee isn't struggling like we are!" said Olette, casting a Dark Firaga spell on three Dark Wisps.
On the other side of the castle, Seifer, Rai, and Fuu shielded Vivi as they fought against the creatures.
"Stay back!" Fuu yelled, slashing at a Dusk.
"Get outta our way!" said Rai, bashing a Ringer in the emblem.
Seifer clashed weapons with a Reaper before he managed to knock its scythe out of its grasp as he slashed the Nobody away after three swipes. "Ha ha, yeah! That's how it's done!" he cheered.
"Head's up!" Vivi yelled, holding his staff up and casting Blizzaga against a Bolt Tower almost landing on top of the four, freezing it whole. With a grunt, Vivi bashed his staff against the frozen Heartless, shattering it into ice shards that disappeared into the darkness.
Seifer looked around. "We have an opening! Let's go!"
They began to book it towards the town.
"W-Wait, where do we go?!" asked Vivi.
"We have to get out of town and then contact the others once this all calms down!" said Seifer. "And whatever we do, we cannot let these idiots get the portals. Otherwise, everyone at home and everywhere else will be in danger!"
"We need transport! Running won't work forever, y'know!" said Rai.
"Already on it." said Fuu, calling someone on her Gummiphone. "Send your closest driver to Disney Castle and make it snappy!"
The quartet managed to make it to the front of the castle and ran to the road just as a yellow taxi pulled up.
"Everyone, get in!" said Seifer.
"Hold that car!" came a high-pitched voice.
The Disciplinary Committee looked over to see Chip and Dale scurrying up to them, holding the mirror that led to Wasteland. It was Chip who spoke.
"Chip?! Dale?!" Vivi said in surprise.
"King Mickey asked us to get the mirror to King Oswald and Queen Ortensia's homeworld while we evacuated the town!" said Chip.
"It was a nightmare getting down all those steps and past all the creatures in the castle!" added Dale.
"Good job, you two! Now get in!" said Seifer.
Rai grabbed the mirror and quickly placed it in the taxi's trunk as Fuu scooped up Chip and Dale and ran into the taxi, followed by Vivi and Rai. Seifer climbed in last and slammed the door shut.
"Yo, driver! You gotta get us out of here!" said Seifer.
"Where to, my good man?" Jim Ignatowski asked, facing the group sitting in the back of the taxi.
"Far away from town would be good!" said Chip.
"And away from those evil creatures!" added Dale.
"You got it!" said Jim.
The former reverend-turned-taxi driver slammed his foot on the gas pedal and sped away, running over several Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed he didn't see coming onto the road to try and knock over his taxi.
"Alright, take them out!" grinned Vivi. "I think things can get better for all of us now!"
But Vivi was wrong.
Library:
Scrooge whacked Glomgold across his beak with his cane and then kicked him in the stomach before lifting him up by the shirt, tossing him into the air, and side-kicking him in the stomach, sending him flying into a bookshelf.
"Sorry, Flinty." Scrooge said. "But once again, your plan fails! And you and your cronies are getting out of this castle, one way or another!"
Glomgold managed to lift his head to smirk at Scrooge. "That's where yer wrong, Scroogey… we bad guys always have an extra trick up our sleeves."
Scrooge was confused until he was suddenly smacked away. Scrooge screamed as he flew across the library and crashed onto a table.
A Berserker had used its hammer to smack Scrooge away. It was joined by three more Berserkers.
"So you got help, huh?" Scrooge mused, rubbing his beak. "Well, that won't work in the-!"
He was cut off when three Berserkers slammed their hammers onto the floor, the shockwave knocking Scrooge so hard into the wall that he became embedded in it.
"Because you are so tired from fighting back, you won't have the strength to take on more help!" Glomgold mocked.
Scrooge pulled himself out of the wall and snarled. "We will see about-!"
He was cut off when four Neoshadows Aerial Rushed him at once, knocking him onto the ground.
Glomgold cackled as he, the Neoshadows, and Berserkers surrounded Scrooge, who struggled to regain his bearings.
"Curse me kilts…" he groaned.
Screening Room:
Beakley grabbed Ma Beagle's punches and threw her into the movie case. DVDs of The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Hercules that Sora and Co. got from 2015 Hill Valley bounced off her head.
Beakley marched up to her.
"As much as I enjoy a good cockfight between bad guys, this has gone on long enough." Beakley said. "We're done here, Catherine."
Ma Beagle craned her head up as she heard a rumbling noise and smirked. "Yes… you are, Beakley!"
Beakley was confused until several Unversed burst out of the air vents and fell on top of her. There were Prize Pods and Vile Phials.
"Agh! Get off me, you pests!" Beagle yelled, punching them out of the way.
But before she could destroy the Unversed, Beakley was suddenly attacked by an Assault Rider as it slashed her back with its spear. Several explosions unleashed by more Assault Riders sent Beakley flying backwards.
"What in blazes? Where did they come from?!" Beakley cried.
Ma Beagle cackled. "Didn't think we had a few extra tricks up our sleeves?" she teased. "Finish the maid!"
The Assault Riders summoned red auras around themselves as Beakley attempted to fight them, but her punches and kicks barely made an impact, especially when the Prize Pods pounced on her at once, followed by the Vile Phials spraying their poison at Beakley.
The former S.H.U.S.H. agent tried to regain her bearings, but the all-out assault was proving to be difficult for even her, especially after the poison kept getting sprayed at her. And just when she managed to regain her bearings, there was a WHIP! and Beakley yelled in pain.
A sizzling scar was now on her back. Ma Beagle had used her new whip to slash her.
"Not so invincible now, are you, Bentina?!" Ma Beagle mocked as she slashed at Beakley again.
Beakley tried to duck and dodge the whip, but then the Beagle family matriarch slashed a shelf so hard that the debris knocked into Beakley. She was able to block it with her arms, but the distraction allowed the Prize Pods to pounce on her.
Ma Beagle laughed evilly as she cracked her laser whip, ready to strike again.
Living Room:
Heron punched Webby in the face, but Webby smashed her robotic arm into the taller bird's legs. Webby then jumped up and punched her in the beak. Heron was about to kick her when Webby jumped up, kicked her in the ankle, and then elbowed her in the gut.
"Looks like F.O.W.L.'s old Number 1 is becoming sloppy!" Webby mocked. "Time to beat you a second time!"
Heron wiped the blood from her beak and smirked. "Sorry, Pink… but history won't be repeating itself."
Webby jumped in the air to attack again when she was suddenly struck down by two Sheltering Zone Heartless' tentacles. It was joined by three more. Just as she got up, multiple Ninja Nobodies crashed through the doors and fired electricity at Webby, electrocuting her as she screamed. The electric blast sent her into a portrait of Mickey, his sister Felicity Amalia Fieldmouse, and her sons Morty and Ferdie.
Heron cackled as she grabbed her cybernetic arm and reattached it to herself. "Surprise, Pinky!" she smirked.
Webby coughed while her hair frizzed from the electricity. "Hey, that's cheating!" she snapped.
"We're evil, you little idiot!" Heron taunted. "When there's a chance to cheat, we take it!"
A Sheltering Zone picked up Webby and threw her across the room. Webby screamed as she slid against the floor, where several more Sheltering Zones surrounded her.
"And you've run out of chances for survival, Pinky." Heron smirked as she walked up to Webby. "But I'm not passing up the opportunity to finish you!"
She aimed her cybernetic arm at Webby, who screamed as she tried to roll out of the way.
Hallway:
Several stories up, Lena threw more hexes at Magica, who managed to dodge them with ease. But like boomerangs, the hexes flew back and hit Magica in the back, this distraction allowing Lena to slash her with her Diamond Dagger, grab Magica by the head, and force her magic against it, making Magica yell in pain as she clutched her head.
Lena panted and smirked. "What's the matter, you big, feathered bitch? Got a headache?" she teased. "The moment I heard you were back in the game, I began practicing magic with Uncle Donald and Aqua. That, along with my desire not to be your puppet anymore, gave me the boost I needed!"
Magica growled as she slammed her staff on the ground, creating a burst of purple energy that flew towards her ex-niece. Lena quickly jumped into the air and bounced off the wall towards Magica, coating her hand in magic and punching her in the face, sending her falling over.
Magica seethed as she propped herself up. "You really have become more of a pest than ever…" she growled.
"And you're so desperate to get rid of me, you're getting sloppy!" Lena snarked, coating her hands in magic once more and beginning to float in the air. "Face it, you've lost!"
Then, Magica saw something out the window and smirked. "Have I?"
Then, before Lena knew it, five Vermillion Sambas burst through the windows and each fired five fireballs at her. Lena screamed as she was struck and fell to the ground. Before the goth duck could get back up, four Blobmobs flew out of the elevator and fired liquid shots at Lena. The impacts stunned her as she fell down again.
Magica laughed as she fired a blast of darkness at Lena, sending her flying into a bedroom.
"I haven't lost yet, you little klonker!" she mocked. "Clan Glomgold wasn't gonna waltz in here without backup!"
Lena growled, rubbing a bruise on her forehead and wiping blood from her nostrils. "You lying… scheming… bitch…" she hissed.
"You flatter me." Magica drawled as she summoned a cyclone of magic to launch at Lena, making her scream as she tried to roll out of the way.
Royal Suite:
April summoned up ten orbs of psychic energy and sent them flying into Sheldgoose, who was able to block them with Felldrake.
"Ow! Watch it, you moron!" the staff hissed.
"I'd rather not get hurt-!" Sheldgoose's rant was cut off when May slashed him with her Starfire Sword across his back.
"Too late, Sheldboob!" she taunted, jumping up and kicking him in the back of the head.
June held onto Leopold's ears and forced him to run into the walls. After the third time, the youngest triplet jumped off and landed on the ground before she slashed Leopold across the back and tail with her khopesh.
"Now we got the upper hand, buttheads!" June smirked.
April sent more orbs flying to the ground, exploding them against Sheldgoose and Felldrake, causing them to fly and crash onto the bed where Mickey and Minnie normally slept.
"Not on my watch!" Felldrake retorted. "Call them in, my bore of a descendant!"
"Gladly!" Sheldgoose grinned, whistling loudly.
Suddenly, Unversed burst through the air vents. Thornbites flew down and smacked their tentacles against the Duck Girls.
"Gah! Spiky!" yelled April as she was hit.
"We can take them!" said May, readying her sword.
But then, a wave of water splashed into her, sending her soaring and screaming into the closet as several Water Cores flew in.
"Yay!" Leopold cheered.
"First Unversed and now Heartless?! Oh, you fuckers!" snapped June.
"No one ever said we couldn't have backup!" mocked Sheldgoose.
April was about to use her powers on the Thornbites, but two Water Cores raised water pillars that sent her flying into the wall. May tried lashing at the Heartless, but Leopold thrashed his claws at her as she screamed and fell to the floor. June tried to help her sisters, but a magic blast from Felldrake knocked her across the floor.
"Time for the final round, losers!" Felldrake grinned. "And this time, we're winning it!"
The head of Felldrake's staff glowed with dark magic as Sheldgoose and Leopold ran at the Duck Girls. Bruised and battered from the earlier attacks, the girls tried to get back up to fight once more.
Gym:
Black Arts sent a tidal wave of dark magic Violet's way, but the hummingbird climbed up the rock climbing wall, leapt off, and swung from the weight-lifting machine handles as she smashed her mace into Black Arts' face. Violet then bashed it into his stomach before she slammed it into the ground, sending dark purple magic spikes rising from it, smacking into the goth Beagle Boy, sending him flying and crashing into the treadmill.
"Your prowess… is amusing…" Violet panted. "But this misuse… of the dark arts… must end!"
"NEVER!" Black Arts yelled.
Before Violet could attack again, Heartless smashed through the windows, much to her surprise. Several Luna Bandits spun around and slashed Violet with their swords, making her scream as she was knocked back.
Violet ended up flying into something and landed on the ground. When she looked up, the hummingbird's pupils shrank as she saw several Nobodies looming over her.
There were several Sorcerers currently floating above Violet, with one forming a shield and bashing her with it.
Violet screamed as she was knocked into the shelf of yoga balls.
Black Arts laughed as he got up, the Heartless and Nobodies joining his aid. "I called to the darkness, and it responded to me perfectly!" he grinned. "Time to finish you off, you purple pest!"
Violet wiped some blood from her beak and snarled as she grabbed her mace, not ready to give up yet.
"We will see… who… finishes… who…" she sneered.
Colonnade:
Launchpad and Steelbeak exchanged more punches to the face and stomach. Steelbeak tried to snap his steel beak onto Launchpad's arm, but the pilot ducked out of the way as the cyborg rooster ended up jamming it into the wall. With a grunt, the former F.O.W.L. agent pulled it out, only for Launchpad to kick him in the back against the wall.
"Oh, you are going down!" Steelbeak snapped as he football-tackled Launchpad to the ground.
But the pilot headbutted him, making Steelbeak yell as he got back up.
"I survived many crashes, so I can survive you too!" Launchpad said determinedly.
Then, they both heard running steps from down the hall. Launchpad gasped when several Novashadows came sprinting from the hallway and tackled him.
"Can you survive me and my backup?!" Steelbeak laughed.
Launchpad punched one Novashadow in the face, but then another scratched him across his pilot uniform before another rushed him, knocking him in the back of the head and sending Launchpad stumbling backwards.
To make matters worse, five Sonic Blaster Unversed appeared from the ground and began firing their lasers at him. Launchpad yelped as he tried to dodge the blasts.
"Got ya now, dum-dum!" Steelbeak grinned.
Launchpad tried to regain his focus as he spotted a two-by-four plank, picked it up, and ran back into the fight.
"Daniel Day-Lewis!" he yelled, throwing the plank with both hands as it smacked a Sonic Blaster, making it fly into the wall. Launchpad then ducked from a Novashadow's punch, grabbed it by the arm, and pulled it against him. "Jason Bourne!" he yelled, elbowing it in the face before kicking it away. Steelbeak snarled and tried his luck again as he ran at Launchpad. But the pilot caught his fist and ended up grabbing the rooster and holding him over his shoulders. "Dwayne The Rock JOHNSON!" he yelled, throwing Steelbeak into the wall. (1)
"Yes!" Launchpad cheered.
His victory was short-lived when the Sonic Blasters began whipping him with their tails, followed by the Novashadows slashing him repeatedly with their claws. Launchpad screamed as he started to bleed from the attacks.
Steelbeak grinned devilishly as he dusted off his beak and charged back into the fight.
Courtyard:
Bouncer tried to crush Huey, but he was blasted backwards by the red cap-wearing duck's energy blasts and landed on a patch of bluebell flowers. Dewey supersped into Burger, headbutting him square in the chest, making the beagle gasp in pain before Dewey jumped up and kicked him in the face, knocking him against a bird bath, breaking it. Louie whistled as his khopesh slashed around Big Time.
"Look at that, boys, we're back on top!" Dewey boasted.
"You really think you got the drop on us?!" Bouncer snarled as he continued trying to crush Huey with his fists, only to be dodged.
"The odds do seem to be in our favor now!" Huey retorted as he coated his hand in energy and jumped to slam his fist into Bouncer's face.
"Yeah?!" Big Time shouted while ducking from Louie's khopesh. "Well, we're about to change that!"
"And how do you plan to do that?" Louie asked.
The Beagle Boys just smirked as several Nobodies suddenly jumped down from the castle roofs towards the boys. It was then that Snipers began firing their crossbows at the Duck Boys.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie yelped as they tried to dodge the blasts.
"It's an air raid!" shouted Louie.
"Okay, don't panic!" shouted Huey. "We can still overcome-!"
Huey was cut off when a Defender Heartless smacked him with its shield, sending the Junior Woodchuck flying into the wall.
"HUEY!" Dewey and Louie cried.
The Beagle Boys cackled as more Defenders joined them and the Snipers.
"And now your odds… belong to us!" mocked Burger. "On account of our backup, see?!"
Louie yelped as a Defender nearly bashed him with its shield. "I thought this was a fight between your family and ours!"
"We're bad guys!" retorted Big Time. "We don't play by any rules!"
"Destroy the brats!" shouted Bouncer.
The Beagles charged at them with shouts as the Heartless and Nobodies followed from behind. Dewey and Louie tried to hold their ground, but they were quickly dogpiled by the creatures of darkness. When they finally managed to free themselves, the Beagle Boys attacked with their new weapons.
Just as Huey recovered, he gasped to see Bouncer diving towards him to crush him. He quickly rolled out of the way, but Bouncer double-punched Huey with his gauntlets, sending him flying into the other wall with a scream, the impact embedding the red-clad triplet within it. Burger used his axe to slash Dewey before he had a chance to run away. Dewey cried in pain as Burger then bashed him in the beak with the axe so hard that he crashed into a pile of weeds. Louie was shot by a Sniper, allowing Big Time to slash across his back with his electrified axe, making him yell in pain. Big Time then grabbed Louie by the hoodie and slammed him into the dirt as hard as he could. Then he leapt up to smash his axe into Louie's already injured body, causing him to spill blood and gasp in pain. Fortunately, the axe wasn't sharp, so it didn't cut into his skin, but the force still hurt like hell.
Gummi-Hanger:
Mark Beaks slammed his fist onto the ground to create a shockwave, but Daisy had jumped in time to avoid it. The Lady-in-Waiting fired Raging Storm at the muscular billionaire, the spell smashing into him.
"Ugh! I have all these muscles now, and I'm taller than Bigfoot!" Beaks yelled as he tried to punch Daisy, but she fired Blizzard to protect herself, and Beaks ended up hitting the ice. "I was winning before! How am I losing now?!" he snapped.
Beaks reached out to grab Daisy, but the duck jumped onto his muscular arms, spun her purse, and smacked him in the face as she then jumped into the air and fired Flower Shoot at him.
"Because I got a second wind!" Daisy replied as she landed on the ground. She aimed her Keyblade at Beaks. "That, and your ego is bigger than your mutated body!"
Beaks yelled as he jumped into the air to land on top of Daisy, but she casted Thundaga Shot to electrocute him in the air, making him fall.
"Work smarter, not harder!" Daisy mocked, getting ready to cast another spell.
Beaks smirked. "Fine!" he said before whistling.
Suddenly, Unversed fell from the air vents, much to Daisy's surprise. Many Jellyshades flew down and rammed into Daisy. The Lady-in-Waiting screamed in surprise as she was knocked over.
"Quackers!" she yelled as she was bombarded by the Unversed.
Once they were done, Daisy managed to get back up and fired Fission Firaga at the Jellyshades. While she managed to hit some, a few began to spray their poison. Daisy quickly held her breath as she tried to use Wind Tracer to blow the poison away. But while she was distracted, Reaper Nobodies suddenly burst through the windows and thrashed Daisy around with their scythes.
Daisy screamed as she flew against a maintenance table, knocking everything over. A toolbox landed on her head.
Beaks cackled as he got back up, joining the Reapers and Jellyshades. "Didn't see that coming, did ya?! Boom! Plot twist!"
Daisy groaned and growled as she rubbed her bruised head. "Since when are they a part of the clan fight?!" she demanded.
"Since forever!" Beaks replied. "In case things went sideways, we planned to have backup! And now, you really are incredibly dead!"
Beaks grabbed the table and threw it at Daisy. The duck screamed as she ran to avoid getting crushed while the table smashed to pieces on the ground. But while Daisy was running, several Reapers somersaulted at her, petal-like fragments coating her body as they smashed into the Lady-in-Waiting, making her scream in pain.
Front Hall:
Della kicked Don Karnage in the face before she punched him in the stomach. Karnage growled as he slashed his sword against her back, but Della was barely phased as she jumped up and slammed her fists into his eyes.
"Good gods, you are a relentless wretch!" Karnage said in annoyance as he brought his sword down on top of her.
But Della blocked it with Godslayer just in time. "Ha! I've faced worse than you on and before the moon, you old canine!" she retorted as she shoved him off, jumped up, and spin-kicked him in the chest with her metal leg.
Merlock transformed into a hawk and flew down, grabbing Donald by his cape and dragging him into the air. Donald retaliated by slamming his staff into the magician, forcing him to let the Court Magician go. Donald spun around and casted Icicle Mine to crash down on Merlock. Merlock was forced back to the ground, transforming back into his regular form.
"Do you ever give up?!" Donald quacked.
"I'm stubborn, just like you. But better!" Merlock replied with a sinister smirk, summoning more dark magic and sending a wave of it at Donald.
Donald quickly casted Triple Firaga to counteract the spell, using his Keyblade and staff at the same time.
The magic blasts pushed against one another until Merlock pushed further. Donald yelled in horror as both waves of magic crashed into him, knocking him against the wall in pain as his feathers and clothes were covered in burn marks.
"DONALD!" Della screamed in horror.
This distraction allowed Karnage to coat himself in a dark aura and charge at Della, punching her so hard that she ended up flying across the room. Della screamed as she crashed into a mirror. She landed on the ground, covered in shards of glass.
"Who's the tough pilot now, feathernut?!" Karnage mocked.
As Donald and Della each got back up, loud rumbles filled the air and shook the castle.
"What the hell was that?!" Della asked.
"Seems as though our backup plan is working!" Merlock grinned.
"What backup plan?!" Donald asked.
"Oh, we discussed on the way here the possibility of you lot managing to beat us even with our new weapons and powers!" said Karnage. "So, just in case… we arranged for those creepy creatures of darkness to assist us in destroying all of you!"
"Observe your family's downfall!" said Merlock, summoning more magic for the Duck Twins to see.
Glomgold's axe-cane knocked Scrooge into the wall before he was sent into the air by a Berserker's hammer.
Prize Pods slammed against Beakley as Ma Beagle slashed her with her laser whip.
Webby was blasted by Black Heron's arm before she was electrocuted by the Ninjas.
Magica levitated Lena into the air as two Blobmobs crushed her, making her scream as Magica let her fall onto the hallway floor
A Water Core sent a blast of water into April, almost knocking her out of the window.
A tired May was blasted by Sheldgoose using magic from Felldrake's staff before she was attacked by a Thornbite, which she tried to slash with her weapon.
Water Cores bashed into June, making her fly across the room. She screamed as she almost flew into Leopold, who narrowly missed grabbing her with his claws as she fell.
Luna Bandits slashed Violet around as Black Arts blasted her with his magic.
Steelbeak chomped his steel beak onto Launchpad's arm, making him scream and hold it in pain before he was suddenly restrained by two Novashadows as a Sonic Blaster blasted him across the Colonnade.
The Beagle Boys attacked Huey, Dewey, and Louie with their new weapons as Snipers fired their crossbows at them from behind.
Daisy was thrown into the air by Beaks and then bashed into the wall by a Reaper.
Donald and Della stared in shock and horror at their family being beaten so badly.
"NO!" Donald cried in horror.
"Wait a sec, it was supposed to be clan vs. clan!" Della exclaimed. "You villains cheated!"
"Are you that surprised, Della Duck?" Karnage mocked. "We're evil! It's in our nature to cheat!"
"Besides, no one said backup couldn't be used." Merlock smirked. "We had ours at the ready. And you lot foolishly sent yours outside to save the town. All so you could settle a score you had no chance of winning, thereby leaving you vulnerable to us and our upgraded powers! And by the time your friends manage to get in here, it will already be too late!"
Donald growled as he coated himself and his weapons in mage magic. "Not on our watch!" he yelled, launching himself at Merlock.
Merlock summoned his ethereal blades and slashed at Donald.
"Hey! Claws off my big brother!" Della yelled, only for Karnage to launch himself at her and kick her in the beak, sending Della flying into the stairs.
"Time for the final encore!" Karnage said, swinging his sword around. "It's a little musical number I like to call… YOUR DOOM!"
"Get on with it!" Merlock snapped.
"Right."
With an opera-like yell, Karnage jumped at Della, who managed to roll out of the way as the sky pirate captain's sword jammed into the damaged stairs.
Castle That Never Was:
Master Xehanort, Ansem, Xemnas, Xigbar, Marluxia, Larxene, Maleficent, Negaduck, Shelke, and Shaula were watching the whole thing unfold via Maleficent's magic in the Grey Room.
"My, my, my, your little upgrades for Clan Glomgold have really come in handy, Maleficent." said Negaduck, impressed.
"As they should." Maleficent said with no surprise in her voice. "Those imbeciles never stood a chance."
"And now that feathered family is finally gonna fall!" Larxene wickedly grinned.
"Question." Shelke chimed in. "Are they really gonna… kill them?"
"My sister raises a valid point." said Shaula. "Wasn't this supposed to be a revenge plan for them?"
"Whatever they do next is of no concern to us." Xemnas said coldly. "Whether they kill them or not is their choice."
"We are hoping they will accept the darkness when they realize that winning against them is futile." said Ansem. "And if they don't… then death is their only other option."
"As if." Xigbar snorted. "They're too stubborn to go down."
"Then that's their death wish." said Marluxia. "That crazy family is just like those pathetic Guardians of Light."
"Marluxia is correct." said Xehanort. "It's only a matter of time before victory belongs to our allies. Despite Clan Glomgold's failure in making it to Disney Castle before Della and Louie can reconcile, if they can at least take Clan McDuck down, not only will we have two less Guardians of Light to worry about in the form of Donald and Daisy, but also the threat of Della achieving her full magic power will no longer be a concern to us. Once they achieve victory, the reign over both Disney Castle and Disney Town as a whole will finally change after so many years. And at long last… the world that the Guardians held so dear will finally fall to darkness…"
"And I will be sitting on that throne, as I was destined to be, as the Mistress of Evil." Maleficent grinned darkly.
Front Yard:
Meanwhile, the rest of the Guardians of Light were still fighting off the Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed so they could get into the castle to help Donald and the others.
"Come on, keep to the beat!" Myde taunted as he sent his clones to attack five Pink Possessors and three Bookmasters.
"Check this out!" said Ven as he unleashed a Wind Tracer spell against three Samurais and two Scrappers.
"Let it rain!" Xion hollered as she unleashed Laser Rain on five Lone Runners and three Red Hot Chilis.
"Light!" Kairi yelled as she used her Heart of a Princess Shotlock on three Neoshadows and two Novashadows.
Lea and Isa yelled as they jammed their Keyblades into the shell of a Turtletoad, making it stumble back in pain. Switching their weapons, Lea threw his chakrams at the Turtletoad before Isa brought his claymore down on its head, killing it.
Goofy bashed shields with a Defender. "I think we're winning again, fellers!" he called.
"Easier said than accomplished, Dad!" said Max, skateboarding away from Yellow Mustards throwing Thunder spells at him before he spun on his board to fire Thundaga Shot at them with his Keyblade.
"These guys won't stop attacking!" Naminé exclaimed as she casted a Quake spell on three Reverse Warlocks.
"And every time we get an opening…" said Sora as he slashed away a Shadow. "…that stupid Demon Tide knocks us away!" he finished as he casted Thundaga on two Reapers.
Aqua used Zero Gravity to get rid of three Dragoons' spears. "Once the numbers are better, we have to think of a new approach!" she said as she casted Holy on the Dragoons.
"Well, we'd better think of it fast!" said Terra as he casted Quake on two Berserkers. "Our friends are in danger of an ambush!"
"We know, Terra!" Riku shouted as he casted Dark Firaga on three Fiery Globes. The silver-haired islander then looked back at the looming Demon Tide that was still blocking the front entrance. He had an idea. "Sora! We need to do a combination!" he shouted, holding up Braveheart.
Sora immediately got the idea as he casted Icicle Mine on two Stealth Soldiers. "Let's do it!"
Sora and Riku ran up to the Demon Tide together. Quickly, Sora casted Blizzaga at it, making it charge at him. But while it was distracted, Riku casted Thunder Tracer at it from the side, making it focus on him. Sora jumped up and slashed it around, destroying several Shadow Heartless that made up the Demon Tide. Riku helped weaken it further by casting Mega Flare at it. Sora and Riku then quickly rejoined each other and fired Firaga spells at the Demon Tide to hold it back. The Demon Tide then began to charge back at the two islanders. Sora and Riku traded nods before they jumped into the air and held their arms up. In a bright flash, their Combined Keyblade appeared, coating in a beam of light that shot up into the sky. With yells, Sora and Riku drew their Combined Keyblade down against the Demon Tide, slicing it right down the middle and destroying it.
Sora and Riku landed on the ground. "We have an opening!" shouted Sora.
Riku ran for the door and tried to push it open, but it was locked. He saw flares of purple magic go across it.
"Damn it! Glomgold's family used darkness to lock it!" he yelled.
"Find another entrance!" shouted Minnie.
The humans managed to get away from the creatures of darkness, only for more of them to either fall from the sky or traverse the walls, trapping the toons.
"GUYS!" shouted Roxas.
"Don't worry about us!" said Minnie as she casted Faith on a Shadow.
"We'll be fine! Go!" shouted Mickey, slashing at a Dusk.
"Save our family!" yelled Goofy, knocking away a Flood with his Keyblade.
The rest of the Guardians, while worried, knew that Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Max, Oswald, and Ortensia would be able to handle themselves and decided that helping Donald and the McDuck family was more important right now.
"I'm going in for a sneaky route!" said Sora, climbing up some scaffolding towards an air vent. He bashed it with his Keyblade, making the vent fall open and allowing the brunette to crawl inside.
"While he does that, try the windows!" said Lea, smashing Flame Liberator through one of the windows and jumping through.
Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Xion, Naminé, Isa, Myde, Ven, Aqua, Terra, Hayner, Pence, and Olette smashed through intact windows or climbed through ones already broken by the creatures of darkness before running off to find either the members of the Duck/McDuck family or to clear out any Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed that were in the castle.

And now the tides have turned thanks to some villains not playing the game.
I mean, they're villains. Whaddya expect? Not all of them have honor. And that goes for all of these in Clan Glomgold.
The next one will be the rescue… and it gets dark.
