Hey everyone me and Light Hero Kaiser made this chapter together and we worked hard on making the Kamen Rider Jackrabbit stuff. This is a AU of My Hero Academia with quite a few big changes with Izuku being a OC Rider called Kamen Rider Jackrabbit. One other change is UA is a University since I feel like hero schools should be college level.
In a park in Musutafu, Japan a plump green haired woman named Inko Midoriya and her seven year old son Izuku who has wild green colored hair, a green t-shirt, a pair of black with green shorts, and a pair of red shoes.
"Alright Izuku play safe." Inko said.
"O-ok Mama." He said. He then starts to go find something to play with.
Inko goes to find a park bench to sit down on so she can keep watching, with a smile. Izuku was walking but then he heard a familiar voice and a feminine cry of pain. Izuku rushes towards the noise.
There is a seven year old girl who looks like Sakura from Fate but with white colored hair pulled up into twin tails with white ribbons, gold colored eyes, she is wearing a pink dress but no shoes because she has bird talons for feet, and a pair of little white wings with gold highlights emerging from her back, crying on the floor in pain "Leave me alone!"
Attacking her was Bakugo who was making explosions emit from his hands.
"What did I do to you?!" She cries out in fear with tears in her eyes.
"Shut up chicken bitch! A flightless bird like you can't be a hero!" Bakugo sneers.
"Flightless!" The girl cries "My wings will grow, but I will still be a better hero than you!"
This makes Bakugo mad and he was about to use his Quirk on her but he gets hit in the head by a rock. Izuku had thrown a rock at a tree and it ricochet at him making him think it came from a different direction. The girl holds up her hand and fires off a small beam of light at Bakugo. He growls at her but decides to look for the one who threw the stone since he can remember her face and make her pay later.
"Asshole." the girl mutters. Izuku then comes out.
"A-are you ok?" He asks her holding his hand out.
"Yes." The girl says but winces in pain as she goes to take his hand. Izuku moves closer to help.
"I'm fine." The girl says
"My mama is nearby. She can help with your ouchies." Izuku said.
"Really?" The girl asks. Izuku nods.
"My mama is a nurse." He said.
"Is she a kind one?" The girl asks
"Of course!" Izuku said.
"I'm going to need help walking though." The girl says.
"D-do you want to hold my hand?" He asks blushing slightly.
"if that's ok?" the girl nods also blushing
"S-sure." Izuku said. The girl gets up a bit unsteadily because of her talons. She then starts to trip but Izuku catches her.
"Sorry." She blushes in embarrassment.
"I-it happens." Izuku said.
"I hate my body." She mutters.
"Why?" Izuku asks. "You can fly which means you can help with surveying trouble and people in need."
"No, I can't, my wings can't support my fat body." the girl mutters
"You're not fat. Besides, your wings might just need time to grow. Like how baby chicks need time before they're ready to fly." Izuku said trying to cheer her up.
"But baby birds are fat!" the girl counters
"Maybe a bit but we're kids. Mama said being too skinny is bad for our growth." Izuku said.
"I guess so." the girl nods.
"I'm Izuku Midoriya. What's your name?" He asks.
"Tsubasa Tokoyami." the now named Tsubasa smiles. Izuku smiles back.
"Shouldn't we get moving?" Tsubasa asks.
"Oh right." Izuku said. Tsubasa smiles and nods. They kept moving until Izuku sees his mom.
"Is that your mom?" Tsubasa asks
"Yes." Izuku said as they head over to her.
"Right." Tsubasa nods as she nearly trips again but Izuku catches her.
"Sorry." Tsubasa mutters embarrassed
"I-its okay." Izuku said as they then reach Inko. "Mama she needs heal with her ouchies."
"Hi." Tsubasa waves shyly. Inko gasps in horror at Tsubasa's injuries. Her feathers were burned and damaged in some places while in others they were pulled out, there are burn marks on her limbs, and her right check was red as if someone hit her there.
"Who did this to you?" Inko asks gently.
"I-it was Kacchan." Izuku surprising Inko a bit.
"He called me a freak and just attacked me." Tsubasa reveals. Inko frowns.
"I know his mother. I will tell her what happened." Inko said disappointed in Bakugo.
"He also called me a chicken bitch." Tsubasa adds. Inko sighs in disappointment.
"That boy and he used to be so sweet." Inko mutters
"Really?" Tsubasa asks not seeing it
"Well he was with me and originally Izuku." Inko admits.
"Oh." Tsubasa says
"Good thing I brought my medical supplies in case something happens." Inko said pulling up her bag.
"But I have talons." Tsubasa says "Do you know how to treat birds?"
"Somewhat." Inko said. "Izuku would bring injured animals back to me to treat."
"So, this is normal then?" Tsubasa chuckles
"Yeah. My little green bunny is a kind boy." Inko smiles.
"Mama!" Izuku said embarrassed at the nickname.
"Bunny?" Tsubasa chuckles
"Well, he loves All Might and one of the costumes Izuku designed have a bunny look to it." Inko said.
"Oh?" Tsubasa chuckles
"I want to be a hero b-but I'm Quirkless." Izuku said quietly.
"That doesn't really matter." Tsubasa says.
"W-what?" Izuku questions in surprise.
"You could make up for not having a quirk with support items." Tsubasa points out. This makes Izuku's eyes widen.
"Of course you also need to have a strong body and a good mind." Tsubasa points out. Izuku then starts to think and somehow pulls a notebook and pencil out of nowhere and starts writing down ideas.
"Where did that come from?" Tsubasa asks confused.
"He always seems to have one on him." Inko said. "Which did he ask you about your Quirk yet? He loves studying quirks."
"No, he hasn't but he might just think it has to do with my wings and talons." Tsubasa laughs.
"Or it could be because of your injuries." Inko said as she starts to treat her.
"Probably." Tsubasa nods. Tsubasa then notices Izuku was writing down tons of ideas and sees designs of several support items.
"Hey those are pretty good." Tsubasa smiles. Izuku blushes a bit.
"T-thanks." He stutters a bit.
"No problem." Tsubasa smiles.
"So, what is your Quirk?" Izuku asks flipping to a empty page.
"It's called Solar Light, I absorb solar energy from the sun, I actually also can't get sunburned because of that, it lets me fire blasts of light from my hands and make constructs from light as well. But it does have a big weakness if I don't have solar energy I can't use my Quirk." Tsubasa explains. Izuku then starts writing it down but had a thoughtful look.
"Is your Quirk also why you have wings and talons?" He asks.
"No." Tsubasa shakes her head.
"Oh, so something you got from your family. Lucky since combined with your wings your quirk can help a lot of people." Izuku said.
"Yeah, my twin has a bird head." Tsubasa nods.
"What's his quirk and does he have wings too?" Izuku asks.
"No, only the bird head, but his quirk is dark shadow, he basically has a living mass of darkness that can fight for him that is connected to him." Tsubasa tells him.
"A living mass of Shadows? Kinda like a second personality?" Izuku asks writing it down.
"Kind of." Tsubasa nods
"Does it try to take over?" Izuku asks.
"Sometimes but I can't say why?" Tsubasa asks.
"I love studying Quirks, but I need to study every known info to figure out what other uses it can have." Izuku said. "Imagine a person increasing or decreasing an object's weight. Meaning you can increase the weight of clothes and wear them as a way to train yourself."
"That would be handy." Tsubasa nods. Izuku nods as Inko finishes patching up Tsubasa.
"I did the best I could, but you should still go to the doctor just in case." Inko said.
"Right." Tsubasa nods. Just then a trio comes to them. One was a little boy Izuku's and Tsubasa's age wearing black clothes with a blue moon on the front of his shirt and has a bird head, a woman who looks like Tsubasa with black hair and black eyes, and the man has a bird head, wings, and talons with white feathers and gold colored eyes and both adults were wearing smart clothing.
"Mommy, daddy!" Tsubasa calls out seeing them
"Oh, my baby girl!" Her mother hugs her tightly.
"Mummy stop!" Tsubasa says getting embarrassed.
"What happened? How did you get so hurt?" Her dad asks.
"A bully attacked me for no reason!" Tsubasa says.
"What?!" Both parents exclaim in anger.
"Unfortunately, it's the son of my best friend. Rest assured I will tell her what he did to your daughter." Inko said.
"Mommy, daddy I'm fine." Tsubasa says
"I treated her the best I could but you should take her to the doctor just in case." Inko said.
"Why is she burned?" The father asks.
"The boy who attacked her has an explosion quirk." Inko explains. Both parents winces at this knowing how dangerous explosions are.
"If I wasn't a well-educated person I would say that's a villainous quirk." The man said making Izuku look at him in shock before thinking about it.
"Also are you not allowed to use your quirk without a license?" The bird headed boy asks.
"Unless in self defense, a Quirk Gym, have special permission, and more." Izuku said having researched that.
"But not for bullying." Tsubasa points out
"Kacchan doesn't care. Everyone sees him in the making of being a Great future hero." Izuku said.
"A bully who picks on a young girl?" The mother asks in anger
"The teachers don't do anything about his behavior. Even when picking on other kids." Izuku said. "Less said about me."
His eyes widen in horror as he realizes what he said.
"You?" The mother asks
"I'm Quirkless." Izuku admits a bit scared.
"That's no reason to bully someone." She says
"Izuku what has been happening in your school?" Inko asks Izuku. Tsubasa holds izuku's hand to comfort him. Izuku then spills everything about how Bakugou would attack him and mock him while saying he can't be a hero. Students joining in and teachers ignoring him.
"That's horrible." The father growls out. Inko then hugs Izuku tightly as she lets out a waterfall of tears.
"Why would he do such a thing?" The mother asks
"Because I'm a Deku. Meaning I can't do anything." Izuku said starting to cry.
"Now who said that?" Tsubasa asks.
"K-kacchan." Izuku said.
"He's talking about Bakugo." Inko cries even more.
Tsubasa's mother bends down "He was most likely jealous."
"B-but why? He has a quirk and better grades than me." Izuku said.
"I doubt he did have better grades." The father said knowing how some people are Quirkest people who sees people for their quirks or lack of one. The better the Quirk the better the person is but Quirkless, Mutation, and Quirks that seem villainous get seen as scum. Though this brings up a question. Bakugo has an explosion Quirk so shouldn't that be seen as a villainous?
"His quirk is definitely dangerous." Tsubasa says.
"Yes. Besides burn damage it can cause permanent damage which includes blindness and hearing damage." Tsubasa's father said.
"Yeah, just look at my wings!" Tsubasa cries
"Yes." Both of her parents said before the mother's eyes realized something.
"We never introduce ourselves." She said. Tsubasa giggles at this.
"I'm Sora." The woman said.
"I'm Kaito." The man said.
"That's my twin Fumikage." Tsubasa smiles. Fumikage nods in greetings.
"I am Inko, and this is my son Izuku." Inko said.
"Nice to meet you." Kaito says
"It's nice to meet you too." Inko said.
"Mom, dad, can you transfer us to Zuku's school." Tsubasa asks
"It might be better if he transfers to your school sweetie." Sora said.
"Oh right." Tsubasa chuckles
"I am the principal of my children's school." Kaito said.
"And I am a lawyer. I can sue Izuku's school for ignoring the bullying though I need some proof." Sora said.
"Could the school be covering it all up?" Tsubasa asks.
"Possibly. Again since they see this Bakugo as a successful future hero they're probably thinking why should he get in trouble but this is actually hurting him." Sora explains.
"What do you mean mom?" Fumikage asks.
"He is being taught that he is in the right for hurting innocent people by the teachers. If this keeps up he might become one of the worse villains in history or as bad as Endeavor." Kaito said.
"That's not good." Tsubasa mutters. Both of her parents nods with serious looks.
"Can you sue the school mummy?" Tsubasa asks
"I need proof which would mean Izuku would have to stay in that school for a while until I get some." Sora said. "Even then I'm not sure its winnable."
"It's not?" Tsubasa asks sadly
"It depends on things and the most likely the Judge in charge." Sora said knowing some Judges would be biased.
"Do you know any quirkless one?" Inko asks
"I do but I'm not sure I'll get her as the Judge." Sora said.
"Oh." Tsubasa says
"Best case scenario they settle and pay some case. Worse case scenario we take this to court and we lose." Sora said being honest.
"Oh." Tsubasa says sadly.
"Sometimes life just like to make things hard." Kaito said.
"Right." she nods sadly
"It's up to you two if you want to fight or just transfer and get away from it." Kaito said to Inko and Izuku.
"What are the chances of us winning?" Inko asks
"I need solid proof. Photos, recordings, eyewitnesses, and more. Otherwise, its not good. To be honest I think you're better off transferring Izuku from the school since its been how many years of bullying?" Sora asks.
"T-three years." Izuku said.
"Three years meaning he suffered a lot of physical and mental damage." Sora said. "If he stays so we can get proof it means more pain for him."
"Izuku dear it's up to you." Inko says getting on her knees
"I-I'll just transfer. No Court." He said.
"If that's what you want." Inko smiles
"You might want to arrange for therapy." Kaito said quietly to Inko who nods.
"You are probably right," She agrees. Kaito then hands her a couple of business cards. One for his wife's number and one for his.
"Thanks." Inko smiles taking them. He nods as she then hands her phone number to them. After that they made arrangements to meet again so Kaito can assess Izuku's intelligence so he can assign Izuku to the right classes most likely his children's class since that class is meant to help students with so called villainous Quirks, mutation Quirks that get them picked on by some people, and of course Quirkless if he ever get any of them.
"It was nice meeting you." Tsubasa waves
"Y-you too." Izuku waves back. Tsubasa smiles as she leaves with her family Izuku watches them go a bit sad but happy. Inko smiles at her son.
"We'll see them again. Also don't forget. We're heading to Mt. Fuji tomorrow." Inko said.
(The next Day)
The mother and son Midoriya family had arrived at Mount Fuji. Inko was taking pictures but Izuku while enjoying the sight of the mountain felt something. It was like a siren's call and he moves away from his mother and went towards a nearby forest. Nobody noticed this as he enters the forest and heads deep into it.
"I wonder what this feeling is." Izuku mutters. He keeps moving and finds a cave but it was weird. It looked like it was freshly made but not by human hands.
"What could have made this?" Izuku asks. He thought it might have been a Quirk but for some reason he could tell it wasn't a Quirk. The feeling grows stronger and his feet moved as if something had taken control of them.
"It feels like I'm being pulled" he mutters. He goes deep into the cave somehow not tripping despite it being dark but as he goes deeper there was a light. He reaches the end of it and sees a Pentagon shaped box colored like the Cosmos itself with 6 slots on each side not including the top and bottom sides. It is about six inches wider and taller than the Pandora Box from Build.
Izuku could feel words coming from it saying take me and start on the journey
"Journey?" Izuku mutters confused.
He touches it and sees a vision of an Older version of himself. He was holding a roundish device in green and red colors with a slot for something in the center and another slot in the left slot. There is two buttons with one button on the right side of the slot and the other button is on the left side of the slot. On the right side of the Driver is a green with red rim medal that has a simple green cartoon bunny head (small oval eyes, upside down triangle nose, and adorable face plus ears) with Izuku's hair on the center.
This is the Hero Driver, and the medal is called the Quirk Medal that works like the ID Cores in Kamen Rider Geats.
The Older Izuku places it on his waist causing a red belt to shoot out from it and around his waist.
READY TO START ON THE PATH OF BECOMING A TRUE HERO?
It announces in a male voice that was similar to Izuku's voice. Izuku was surprised that it could announce words and with his voice. Older Izuku then brings out a clear cylinder jar the size of a Fullbottle from Kamen Rider Build with a green half and yellow half DNA Helix in it. On the jar lid is a simple green cartoon bunny head (small oval eyes, upside down triangle nose, and adorable face plus ears) with Izuku's hair that is a button. Older Izuku then places the button on it.
LIGHTNING PLUS RABBIT EQUALS JACKRABBIT!
He then inserts it into the device.
JACKRABBIT! READY!
"What the?!" Izuku says in shock.
A giant horse sized green colored mechanical Rabbit that is covered in yellow Lightning appears and jumps around.
"What in the world?!" Izuku exclaims in shock.
"Henshin!" Older Izuku shouts as he presses the right button on the Device. Driver the Box supplies to him.
HERO RISE! THE HEART OF A TRUE HERO~! RIDER JUMP AND RIDER KICK YOUR WAY TO YOUR DREAMS~! LET'S GO THE HERO! KAMEN RIDER JACKRABBIT~! (You say Run from My Hero Academia plays while transforming)
The Rabbit does a big jump before transforming into a bolt of lightning and strikes at Older Izuku. Armor appears on his arms first as he then makes a X with them before throwing them back causing torso armor on his torso. Older Izuku follows up by stomping one foot causing lightning to erupt from the ground and covers his legs and feet armor. A final bolt of lightning appears and strikes at his face forming a helmet.
The Suit is based on Izuku's Stealth Suit but colored like Izuku's Costume Gamma with the gloves of Costume Gamma instead of the Stealth Suit's gloves and the letters on his shoulder plates changed to "KR". His helmet is based on the Netnavi version of Protoman's helmet from Megaman with the horn removed, it is green instead of red, no hair is shown, he has rabbit ears like horns on his helmet, and it uses the respirator of Izuki's Stealth costume to cover his mouth. He has a red scarf like Kamen Rider 2/Nigo but smaller in length, cowboy spurs on his shoes, and his Rider symbol is on his chest where his heart is. On the left side and the right side of his waist is a pair of holders based on the Fullbottle Holder from Kamen Rider Build but with two extra slots and the black is changed to green for that object Older Izuku placed into the Driver and there was others like it in them.
This is Kamen Rider Jackrabbit!
"Where did that rabbit and armor come from?!" Izuku exclaims. Just then figures of shadowy monsters appears and tries to attack Jackrabbit. Jackrabbit moves as fast as Lightning and kicks one on the chest blasting it away with lightning before punching another one.
"What kind of quirk is this?" Izuku wonders
Jackrabbit fights all off the monsters at lightning fast speeds before pressing the button on the left.
HERO RISING! JACKRABBIT RIDER KICK! (I've Come/All Might Theme from My Hero Academia plays)
A giant green Jackrabbit made from energy appears while yellow lightings emits from it as it roars. It then merges with Kamen Rider Jackrabbit coating him a green lighting coated energy aura as he then jumps high into the sky and does a scissor kick into the enemy flinging them away.
"This is amazing!" Izuku mutters "I wish I could write this all down"
The vision then fades away as the box flashes several times before a beam of light fires from it into Izuku's head! Izuku's head then starts to hurt as Knowledge and Information starts to pour into his head. Izuku drops the box and holds his head as he falls to his knees. He gets a massive headache as the box moves into his backpack while shrinking down.
"Make it stop!" He shouts. Blueprints and ways to make the DNAJars the device Older Izuku used. The Box, the Cosmos Box the information download tells him and the box said he was worthy. Izuku then passes out from the pain.
"Help." He mutters just before he does
