Chapter 8:
Fuutaro and Sakura were faced with Umi-no-Kami. "This might be a lot harder than we thought," says Fuutaro.

Ichika was still looking for her sisters. Then some monsters came, but Taro shoots them. "Let's go find them," says Taro.
...
Everyone else was still panicking because the monsters were still coming for them.
...
Umi-no-Kami tries to attack Fuutaro and Sakura, but they kept dodging.
"How are we supposed to beat this," asks Fuutaro.
Sakura then feels something strange. Just as Umi-no-Kami was about to strike, there's a flash of light…
...
All the monsters are gone and Ichika's reunited with her sisters, but they're all worried about Fuutaro.
...
Fuutaro looks. "What… happened…?"
"I remember," says Sakura, "I am the siren's daughter! I have destroyed my mother and I have claimed all the souls! Now, it is time to set everything right…" There's another flash of light…

After reuniting and saying their goodbyes, Fuutaro and the girls return home.
