Nobu came home, exhausted and lay down on the couch. Hachi walked with a cup of tea in her hands and a smiled to him.
"Welcome home" she said.
He took her hand and placed it on her belly, together as a family.
"Are you both okay?" Nobu told Hachi.
"Yes, we are." She said , "we just need you."
Nobu kissed her forehead and closed his eyes, knowing that despite it all, it was all worth it.
