Suited up, Marc began tracking down Dawn.
In a city where the van had previously been, Marc ran from rooftop to rooftop.
In some windows of the buildings, Steven appeared.
"Why would Ra take Paulena? What's his angle?"
"It's probably revenge, Steven. It's always revenge. Or maybe he doesn't need a reason. Maybe he's just an asshole."
"I don't think it's revenge." Steven stated "if it was, why not go after us? You were literally possessed by his daughter he brought back to life."
Marc paused before jumping onto another building. He turned to his reflection "don't remind me."
"What about Barry? Would he have a reason to kidnap her?"
Marc shook his head "Barry just wants money. So, unless some rich SOB with too much time on his hands wanted Polly kidnapped, then yeah, they'd hire Barry. He might be responsible for the deaths of innocent people, me included, but at least he's loyal to his employer."
"Paulena isn't exactly Iron Man-level famous, yeah? Who'd want her kidnapped?"
After jumping onto another rooftop, Marc noticed a giant TV that would normally run advertisements for the city. Right now, it was running a livestream of Jameson's Just The Facts.
A photo of Dawn, the same one the young man was sketching, was in the corner of the screen. The words MUMMY MENACE under the picture.
Marc looked sharply to his left where he saw Steven in the reflection of the window.
"Marc, are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Marc nodded and jumped off the building, his cape creating a crescent moon shape.
