J. Jonah Jameson enjoyed his black coffee and bowl of Cheerios while reading the morning newspaper.

He came across an article about hundreds of people dying in the Middle East.

"Superheroes protecting us, eh? I don't need protecting. These people, they need protecting. Where is their Superheroes? That's a good topic. May be good enough for today's episode. I could title it Who really needs protecting? Not m—"

The old man received a punch to the face that would even make Muhammad Ali wince.

"Where is she?"

"assault, and breaking and enter— oh, God. It's you. I didn't press charges before but—"

Another punch.

" where is she?" Marc repeated.

" Jesus H Christ, who are you talking about?"

Marc noticed the police sketch on Jameson's fridge. He ripped the photo off and stuck it in front of JJJ.

"Her."

"Id love to know! You and that other Mummy menace left me with PTSD."

" someone brought her to you. Who?"

JJ yelled " nobody brought nothing! Not a lot of people would know about her anyway. I don't choose hard hitting stuff for my 2 AM live streams. Only about a few hundred people saw that video."

" You live streamed at two in the morning? We didn't talk about her earlier.?"

" I only choose big stories for my usual, 6 o'clock audience. But a story about a big—"

JJ noticed Marc about to punch in again and fixed his sentence.

" a big pain in my neck. Nobody cares about that. So it goes in a 2 AM time slot."

" so you didn't take her?"

JJ chuckled " Why would I? Do you know how bad that would look on my ratings if I kidnapped someone? Cancel culture is what we should really be afraid of. Damn millennials."

" did anyone else know about her before the video?"

" why would I tell you? You trespass into my—"

Marc interrupted " You'd risk the life of an innocent little girl for your pride? Wait until the media hears about that."

"Look, the only people that knew about her was my son for some reason, and the police. That's how I got the picture. The police sketch, artist. Now, if you go, after Johnny, I guarantee you'll be in a world of hurt."

" what was the sketch artists name?"

" him? He's just a college kid. There's—"

" I've learned not to underestimate college kids. The name. Now."
