Man oh man, has it been a while since I put pen to paper and started writing and creating a story I love. I have recently started falling back in love with fast and furious and want to create and write more stories along the way. This story will include Jakob.

It was a breezy Sunday afternoon, everyone was driving home from church and Jack Torreto was in his backyard setting up the bbq and yelling for his children to hurry up and change so they could help.

Inside the house, three teenagers were laughing about something as they all stumbled up the stairs to change. The oldest, Dominic Torreto – he was in every sense of the word perfect. He did nothing wrong in anyone's eyes and Jakob the middle child was no different. He looked up to his older brother with admiration and love and wanted to be just like him. And the youngest Mia Torreto – also perfect in every way. She had too many friends to count, perfect grades and always looked perfect too. Jakob never felt like he belonged and he always stood in their shadow.

Jakob was walking into the backyard when he heard Letty talking to his dad. Mia's best friend and everyone knew she belonged to Dom and Dom belonged to her but the two of them had yet to make anything official to scared of losing what they had. Vince was also here, Dom's best friend and another big brother figure around the house.

Vince walked up to Jakob clapping him on the back,

"Hey – want to throw the football around for a bit?"

Jakob nodded, "yeah, I'll go grab it"

Jack flipped burgers and turned the hotdogs on the grill as he cleared his throat. Letty smiled and looked up from the table,

"Anything you need to talk about kid?"

You see Letty had always been around, she just seemed to always fit in to whatever they were doing at the Torreto house. It was like she was meant to be. Letty gave the older man a small shrug,

"I went home to change and let's just say my mom really knows how to throw a party. The mess will take a couple hours to clean"

She let out a small sigh, thinking of the empty bottles and cans everywhere in the house. Not to mention the body fluids she was sure to find everywhere else when she started cleaning. She loved the Torreto house and she loved this family. She wasn't sure what she would do if it was ever taken away from her. Jack closed the lid to the BBQ and went to sit beside her,

"Was she home?"

Letty shook her head no, playing with a piece of loose wood from the table.

"Not from what I could tell, but I didn't feel like sticking around to find out either"

"I'll help you clean up after the BBQ"

Letty smiled and shook her head,

"It's okay Mr T – really. It's not the worst she's ever left it. I'll get it done"

"You know kid, if you're going to be in our lives you're going to have to accept help at some point. When you and Dom start having babies you'll be BEGGING for my help"

He laughed as he stood up walking back towards his grill. Letty smiled and laughed a little,

"Who said I would ever marry and have babies with your son?"

"I see the way you two dance around each other. It's cute"

Letty laughed as smiled proudly at her,

"Mr T – we aren't dancing around anything"

"The two of you, I don't know. There's something there and you're both just a little too safe with your hearts. Even though you'd never admit it"

Letty smiled at the older man. He wasn't wrong and of course he saw it. Of course he knew what was going on before they knew what was going on. Truth be told Dom and Letty had, had some pretty heated make out sessions in the back of the car, behind the garage and most recently Dom's bed where she swore it would have went even further if Jakob and Mia hadn't come home early from the movies.

Letty was ripped from her thoughts as the back door swung shut and slammed. She looked up to see Dom walking out and he winked at her as he walked over to throw the ball around with Jakob and Vince. Mia followed behind him a few minutes later and sat at the table beside Letty,

"Can you believe we only have two weeks left of summer?"

Letty shook her head,

"No. It's hard to believe that in two weeks we're back to basically jail for another 8 months"

Mia laughed,

"School is nothing like jail"

"How do you know – have you need to jail?"

Letty asked as she looked over and smirked. Mia laughed at her and ignored the question,

"I'm thinking this week we go to the beach, mall, movies and we have a good old fashion slumber party"

"Sure Mi, sounds fun"

Letty wasn't paying much attention to the girl. She was staring at Dom, his tan was coming in nicely and he had decided to not wear a shirt to play catch and it was really quite distracting. Mia nudged her,

"I know you think my brother is attractive. But I'm your best friend and I would love if you paid some attention to me"

Letty laughed and Mia smiled at her,

"I think if you want my attention we need to go inside so I am not distracted by a shirtless someone"

Mia scrunched her nose in disgust but grabbed Letty hand and dragged her inside to the living room where they sat on the couch. The house always felt like a home should to Letty. Pictures on the wall, a couch big enough for everyone to be together on, a pile of board games in the corner of the room that are missing pieces from being a little to competitive at times, home cooking from the kitchen made the whole house smell and wrapped you in this hug.

"Mia how many girls are you wanting to invite over?"

"I don't know. A slumber party requires at least five girls"

"And your dad is okay with that many girls?"

Mia shrugged, when it came to her father she got whatever she wanted. And it made Letty if she was being honest – really jealous. She wish she knew her father. She wished she had a father like the Torreto's.

They heard the music start from the backyard, signalling that guests were arriving to come and enjoy some BBQ after church. The tables outside were being filled with all sorts of treats and snacks the neighborhood was bringing together. As the girls walked out Letty's hand was grabbed and she was dragged to a private spot behind the garage.

Her lips instantly attacked when out of eye sight of everyone else in the backyard. She put her hands to Dom's slightly scruffy face and pulled him in closer, his hands gripping her hips tighter as she bit his lip and pulled back. She smiled and breathed,

"Hi"

Dom smirked,

"Hi"

"You're going to get us in trouble"

Dom was moving along her neck, careful not leave a trace behind as he went. Letty moaned lightly in his ear as her hands went around his neck to pull him back to her lips. Dom happily followed her silent command and went back to her lips.

"Hey Dom – you back he"

Jakob called as he rounded the corner. He stopped when he saw Dom and Letty. Dom groaned and snapped at Jakob,

"What man. What are you doing right now?"

Letty put her hand on his chest and his attitude shifted only small enough for her to notice. Jakob put his hands up,

"Whatever, dad is looking for you"

He walked away and Letty put her forehead on Dom's. they connected eyes and Letty swore she could melt into a puddle right there and then. Letty whispered,

"Come on. We need to get back. Your dad already thinks we're going to give him grand babies"

Not missing a beat Dom replied,

"That would involve actually having sex"

Letty rolled her eyes and pushed him away,

"Sometimes you can be such an ass. Goodbye Dominic"

Dom laughed and pulled her back by her hips in his chest so her back was to him. And he whispered,

"You know I was joking"

She shook her head and removed his hands,

"Do I?"

Letty walked away and went to find Mia. She found Vince first and sat beside him,

"Hey you seen Mia?"

Vince shrugged as he looked over to her,

"Jakob looked upset, stormed into the house and Mia followed. Usually Jakob attention situation"

Letty nodded,

"Dom snapped at him"

"The kid needs to grow a back bone already"

Letty shrugged, she never had siblings so she wasn't sure how to react when they fought. It felt as if they fought and then were just … fine? She couldn't ever quite understand it but she wish she could. She was playing with the grass as Vince kept talking.

"You and Dom seem to be cozier then ever"

"You jealous or something?"

Vince shook his head,

"Nah just an observation."

"Vince are you afraid of losing Dom?"

Vince scoffed at her,

"Trust me Dom and me are fine. And if I wanted to, I could make him forget you"

Letty laughed,

"You sound like a crazy ex girlfriend dude"

"You know that's not what I meant"

"I think I have some ways of making sure Dom wants to hang out with me over you any day"

Vince raised his eyebrow and simply stated,

"From what I hear, those parts are still pretty dusty"

Vince smirked and chucked as he took a drink of his corona. Letty was at a lose for words. She shoved him as she got up. She was hurt, Dom was telling people about what they have and haven't done? She thought that was going to remain private and personal for them.

Letty was already self conscience about the idea of sex with Dom. It was no secret Dom could get any girl he wanted and if rumours were true he still was. She wanted more then anything to be committed to Dom in a way where she wasn't scared to be all in but she didn't want to risk losing her only family she's ever known. She looked around the yard and this felt like home, was she willing to risk that feeling for something more?
