Prologue
In the heart of the throne room, under a sky cracked by thunder, Link along with Princess Zelda and an unlikely ally Ganondorf fought against Dark Lord Mallaalic, a being who had melted down the Triforce into a weapon known as the Triforce Requiem. Link rushes forward with the Master Sword in hand and leaps at the Dark Lord. The Master Sword clangs against the Triforce Requiem. A loud blast of energy shoots outward sending Link flying backward hitting the wall. Link falls to the ground shaking as he struggles to get back up. Zelda uses her magic sending spears of pure sacred light. As it hits the Dark Lord he starts to laugh. "Your powers pale in comparison to the Power of Gold." Ganon states "Mallaalic is too powerful to defeat with that weapon. The only way to win is to get the Triforce Requiem out of his hand." Link says, "Then we, those bound by fate, must strike as one.
As one they strike him. He was sealed but not before he altered the very foundation of the world.
The Gerudo Desert, once a land of endless dunes, was buried beneath eternal frost, its golden sands now a frozen wasteland. Lake Hylia's once-pristine waters bubbled and churned, then turned into rivers of molten lava that coursed angrily through the land. Death Mountain, long a volcano of searing heat, was drowned in its opposite—its fiery veins replaced by an abyss of deep, frigid waters. The lush fields of Hyrule—the beating heart of the kingdom—were reduced to an arid, lifeless desert, the winds howling over cracked earth.
The tropic haven of Faron, once teeming with vibrant jungles and warm rain, was now a chilly rainforest, its waters colder than even the tundra itself. Even the Lost Woods, a place of eternal mystery, had been reshaped into something different—a tropical wilderness, its ancient mysteries warped into untamed chaos.
