During the waiting period between the first and second match, Seteth notices Endeavor leaving his seat. A familiar feeling of suspicion rising in his gut, Seteth excuses himself from the announcer's booth to go find where Endeavor is going, as he's sure this is no mere restroom trip.

His suspicions are proven correct when he comes across Endeavor talking to Todoroki in the back halls, somewhere the "Hero" is most certainly not allowed to be. From the bits and pieces Seteth catches, Endeavor isn't just wishing his son luck, he's demanding nothing short of success.

Seteth steps between them, glaring up at Endeavor, "Pardon me, do you have permission to be back here?"

Endeavor glares right back, "This is a conversation between me and my son, it does not concern you."

Seteth's eyes narrow, "As UA's Vice Principal, the safety of my students is most certainly my business. Being cornered and menaced by someone who shouldn't be here is most definitely concerning."

Endeavor growls, his flames flaring as he steps forward, "Are you suggesting I would hurt my son?"

Seteth calmly replies, "I'm merely stating that your presence is distressing one of UA's students before an important event. I must ask you to return to an area currently open to the public, and I will remind you that everything you have said and done here today is on camera. If you remain, I may have to get the other staff involved."

Endeavor seems further enraged by the implied threat of both Nezu and Byleth, "That bit-"

Endeavor is cut off as the ground beneath his feet cracks open and surges forth, bringing him to his knees and solidifying around him. Seteth's, Cichol's, epithet as the Earth Dragon exists for a reason, even if he uses his abilities rather sparingly.

Seteth's eyes have taken on a slight glow as he calls on some of the sheer presence he holds as a True Dragon, "You should refrain from insulting my colleagues. Leave now, or I will have to interrupt Nezu's fun so he can come deal with you, and I'm sure I don't need to tell you what he's like when his fun is interrupted."

A shiver runs through Endeavor's spine. What the hell kind of staff had Nezu started hiring? As the earth holding him down falls away, Endeavor makes the smart decision and leaves without another word. There are times when even his rage is overwhelmed by his survival instincts.

After Endeavor turns the corner, Seteth checks on Todoroki, "Are you alright? I would hope he hasn't hurt you."

Todoroki seems shocked, shocked that someone would stand up to Endeavor on his behalf, "I… No, he didn't do anything to me."

Seteth's voice takes on a softer tone, the concerned parent voice, "That's not what I asked. I asked if you were alright. Even if you're physically unharmed, there are pains and wounds that aren't visible to the naked eye."

Again, his words give Todoroki pause, "… I'll be fine. It's nothing I haven't seen before."

Seteth frowns, "That doesn't make it right. I don't know everything he said to you, but don't take his words to heart. If… if you don't feel safe, UA can help. We're here to help."

Todoroki seems to consider his words before simply nodding, "I'll keep that in mind."

As the boy walks away, Seteth can't help but sigh to himself. Everything about Endeavor sets off massive red flags in his mind, but UA can't act until either Todoroki comes to them or the evidence becomes undeniable. Turning around, he heads back to the announcer's booth. He still has an event to run, even if his worries seem to just keep piling up.

Todoroki soon takes to the arena for the next round, his opponent being Kinoko Komori of Class 1-B. Byleth calls the match to a start, and it ends almost immediately. Komori is trapped in a cocoon of ice from the neck down, and Byleth calls the match in Todoroki's favor. As he walks away, Seteth swears he can see Todoroki looking down at his left arm.

Next up is Denki Kaminari vs. Mei Hatsume. Here, the boy shows just how far he's come since his admittance to UA. Dodging Hatsume's nets, he closes the distance to her and coats his fists with electricity, shorting out Mei's tech before tagging her and putting her out of commission. A much better showing than when he used to short himself out.

After that, Mina Ashido and Kyoka Jiro take the stage. The two girls are quite decent at mid-range, but Jiro excels more at long range while Ashido does better in close range. The match will mostly come down to Ashido's ability to close the distance, which she unfortunately doesn't get the opportunity to do. Sticking her jacks into the ground, Jiro breaks the floor of the arena and interrupts Ashido's attempt at skating around. A few quick sound blasts after that, and Ashido is forced out of the arena.

After a quick break to fix the arena, next up is Hanta Sero and Tenya Iida. It lasts about as long as Todoroki's match, with Iida pushing Sero out of bounds before he can attempt to shoot any tape.

Soon after is Flayn's match against Toru Hagakure. Unfortunately for Toru, her invisibility is rendered a non-issue against Flayn's ability to detect changes in airflow. With a single spell, Flayn knocks her opponent out of bounds, but is there to tend to any injuries that may have cropped up.

For the penultimate match of the first round, Momo Yaoyorozu and Eijiro Kirishima take to the arena. Kirishima puts up his best defense, but Momo's ability to create anything (especially explosives with a lot of concussive force) as well as her good combat sense easily overwhelms him and pushes him out of bounds.

The final match of the round sees Katsuki Bakugou and Ochako Uraraka facing off, and it's quite the fierce battle with Uraraka putting up fierce resistance against Bakugou's sheer power. However, she's getting worn down quickly, and after Bakugou foils her plan of raining debris on top of him she succumbs to her exhaustion and falls unconscious. Afterwards, Bakugou helps her into the stretcher the medical bots bring out so she can be carted to Recovery Girl.

The first round is over, and the next matches have been decided.

Izuku Midoriya Vs. Shoto Todoroki

Denki Kaminari Vs. Kyoka Jiro

Tenya Iida Vs. Flayn Drake

Momo Yaoyorozu Vs. Katsuki Bakugou

Seteth can tell, things will only get more… dramatic as the tournament continues.

A/N: Sports Fest tournament is easy for me to write, since I already have a good idea of who I think would beat who. See ya.
