Chapter 3:Reborn part 1
(Egghead, Vegapunk's lab)
All the Vegapunk's were circled around Monkey D. Luffy's dead body, The original and his 6 satellites/Counterparts.
All looked down at the fallen straw hat captain.
"So this is the infamous Monkey D. Luffy.." Spoke Shaka Vegapunk, who is designated as Punk-01, the "good" of Vegapunk. Shaka is an average-sized man, standing at about the same height as Sanji. His head was covered by a futuristic metal helmet bearing the number 01 over the face. He wears a very long dark blue coat with yellow patterns; the jacket has the words "Vegapunk 01" written at the bottom, "Caution" written on the left sleeve and two light blue horizontal stripes on the right side. He also worn a pair of very large black DOM shoes that ran all the way up to where his jacket ends, leaving little to no skin exposed.
"And your adding him into our project? Oh i cant wait! I see the world government will give us a reward for this!" Spoke Lilith Vegapunk, designated as Punk-02 she is the "Evil" of vegapunk. Lilith has the appearance of a young woman with wild ginger hair and purple eyes, with her hair covering her right eye. She wears a pink full-body jumpsuit that bears her designation of Punk-02 on the left breast; she also wears a purple hooded jacket with sleeves that are baggy around the forearm area, purple DOM shoes, black gloves, and a red aviator helmet.Like the other satellites, she wears an earpiece and antenna on her left ear which enables communication with Vegapunk's other manifestations.
"This feels wrong... i feel that we shouldn't do this.." spoke Edison Vegapunk, designated as Punk-03, he is the aspect of thinking. Edison is a small mechanical creature, being similar in size to a young child. His head is shaped like an American football with two appendages on top of it resembling rabbit ears or a power plug, and eyes bulging out of an opening in the front; the number 03 is branded on his forehead. Over his body, Edison wears a jacket which is green on the left side and white on the right; the kanji for "idea" is printed on the right breast, and the left side has a pattern resembling a spear. Edison possesses metallic fingers, thin rod-like legs, and blocky feet.
"What choice do we have? If we don't comply.. the Elders will force us too or destroy us..." pointed out Pythagoras Vegapunk. He is the aspect of Wisdom, Pythagoras is a large mechanical being. His head was a sphere with a turn-key protruding from the top and a space in the front containing his eyes which always appeared drowsy; his head could detach from the main body and move independently with a set of retractable arms and legs. Pythagoras' main body was metallic, with the top part being red and the bottom cream. His designation, Punk-04, was printed on his left breast and the kanji for "wisdom" was printed on the center of its chest. His arms, hands, and legs were composed of bendable metal rods.
"Pythagoras is right. If we don't comply the world government will have our heads for defying their orders." Atlas Vegapunk says. She is the aspect of Violence. Atlas is an extremely large girl, appearing to be as tall and giant, with a young appearance. She had floppy downward ears, blue eyes and short curly hair that was white on the left and pink on the right; she had a very long curl of hair on each side of her head that ran down to her belly. She had a long, bushy tail on her abdomen. She wore a short pink dress with her number on it as well as a downward-pointing arrow on the front. She also wore pink DOM shoes, brown gloves with white sleeves attached, an earpiece enabling communication with the other satellites, and a large red jetpack with a red-and-white checkered pattern around the middle of the engines on her back.
"Did you see if could remove the devil fruit?" York spoke. She is designated as Punk-06 the aspect of greed of vegapunk. York is a young-looking woman of incredible size, standing twice the height of Brook.She has long and wavy blonde hair, aqua eyes, and patches of freckles under her eyes. Her mouth is very broad, and she has rosy, chubby cheeks. She wears a purple top cut off just below her breasts with her designation Punk-06 written on the front. She also wears an orange hooded jacket over her top, a pair of purple bikini bottoms, black gloves, orange DOM shoes with cyan and black-striped socks that go up past her knees, an earpiece enabling communication with the other satellites, and a pair of red goggles on her forehead
The original vegapunk sighed.
"No... i was unable to recover the Devil fruit.. it seems that it has already left Monkey D. Luffy's body..." Vegapunk says looking grim.
"Damn... what good will it be if we putting it in project Seraphim..?" Lilith says with annoyance
"We will have to adapt without the devil fruit, the elders will be very displeased.." Vegapunk stated. In all in honesty he didn't want to give the fruit to the elders..
"I'm afraid that is the only way." Spoke Shaka.
"Then let's get started.." Vegapunk says sadly feeling guilt of what he's about to do to his friend's son.
(With Ace)
"So... your leaving Ace..?" Says Marco.. the now acting captain of the whitebeards.
"Yeah... i have to go find my brother's crew and try reuniting them. I'm going to be the new captain of the straw hats.." Spoke Ace. Who is wearing luffy's straw hat.
"I hope that you can all understand this..." Ace says facing all the other whitebeard commanders
"We do.. just be well.." says Jozu..
"You all becareful now.. teach has a powerful devil fruit.. and since he was able to take pops... fruit.. i fear that he and his crew will be hunting after other devil fruit users and potentially steal them.." Ace warned.
"We will.. so long Ace.." Marco says as Ace nodded and got on his dinghy to set off to go find the other straw hats.
(Sabaody archipelago)
Ace had managed to reach Sabaody archipelago. He knew there was marines crawling on this island but he didn't care. He'll burn anyone who dares to even try him.
As he continued to walk and wander. He ignored tbe looks everyone gave him.
However a certain someone in the crowd would notice him. As he flared his Haki.
Suddenly Ace snapped his head to the source and saw an old man with gray hair, a beard and some glasses.
"Wearing your father's Hat are you..?" Spoke The old man making Ace narrow his eyes.
"Father? The only father i will ever acknowledge is Whitebeard. Who are you." Ace says frowning as the old man chuckled.
"Follow me. And I'll tell you." The old man replied walking away.
Ace would follow the old man.
The two would walk somewhere secluded, away from many eyes.
"Okay Old man tell me who you are?" Ace demanded
"My name is Rayleigh. The dark king, first mate of the Roger Pirates. I've heard so much about you Fire Fist Ace. Or should call i you Portgas D. Ace." Rayleigh says with Ace now narrowing his eyes further this man is Roger's first mate.
"And what do you want. Rayleigh?" Ace asked but kept a glare.
"I want to say I'm sorry for your loss.. about your brother Monkey D. Luffy. I knew him... along with another... who died on in the war..." he says somberly thinking of Hancock... it pained him when he heard of her death.
He was sure glorisa, Sonia and Mari were probably grieving for Hancock's death.
Ace's expression softened... he knew who Rayleigh meant. That warlord woman who helped luffy break into impel down...
And he didn't need to know who her murderer was... that Magma bastard probably did her in too..
"I have been expecting you to come here... and I want to help you, if you are planning on reuniting the straw hats..." Rayleigh says making ace raise a brow
"Help me how?" Ace asked.
"I also want your proposal in wanting to train you, for two years. I want to prepare you for the new era that is supposed to come along with a way on how to send a message to your brother's crew." Rayleigh offered
Ace would think this over.
"Two years?" Ace repeated
"Yes. Plus with the hidden message you can inform the other straw hats to train as well." Rayleigh says
Ace does need training... there's no telling when he'll encounter Teach or Akainu... again...
"I'll accept. Tell me how can i send Luffy's crew a hidden message?" Ace asked as Rayleigh approached him and whispered into his ear.
(Sometime soon)
Ace would create large flames in huge writing.
The flaming letters: "3d2y" as Ace stood in front.
Camera men would take pictures as word would spread about what ace did.
After that Ace would go with Rayleigh to train.
And all throughout the world, the straw hats received the hidden message and understood it.
However... one had other thoughts... Nico Robin...
She would train herself. For 2 years... but she... she isn't ready to reunite with them... she will remain with the revolutionary army. She wants to destroy the world government.. she wants to hurt them for taking away luffy.
Hopefully the others will understand why she isn't coming back... a part of her told her that Luffy would have wanted her with the crew to help them... without him.. but she couldnt... she still hasn't gotten over Luffy's death... she's trying to move on... plus Monkey D. Dragon made her an offer she couldn't ignore. Hopefully someday she will find the will to reunite with the straw hats...
(1 Year Later. Egg Head)
Saturn would arrive at egghead visiting to see Vegapunk's progress.
The scientist would greet the elder
"I have come to see the project.." saturn says.
"Well here is where we keep them." Vegapunk says walking into a room with Saturn following behind him.
in the large room were there would be 8 doors, with numbers lined up.
Saturn waited. As Vegapunk would be on a computer terminal to open the 8th door. Revealing a capsule filled with green liquid in a stasis pod.
Inside that pod.. was a child... brown skin.. White hair, Black wings.. with "PX" on his lower neck.
"Is this?" Saturn asked with Vegapunk nodding.
"Yes.. this seraphim number 8... as you requested... he is designated as S-Monkey." Vegapunk confirmed.
"Good.." Saturn says staring at the new weapon that will be used against the straw hats.
"I want him tested... for combat.. since he is without a devil fruit correct?" Saturn says since vegapunk had told him that he was unable to get luffy's fruit and that it likely vanished before the doctor could retrieve it... he's sent hunting parties all across the seas to find that fruit.
"Yes.. I plan to make him unique without a devil fruit.. he can be more of a Haki user to the seraphims.." Vegapunk says as he and Saturn stared at S-Monkey.. who resembles alot like Monkey D. Luffy.
(8 months later)
in the 8th pod S-monkey would be asleep. electronic goggles on his face that were downloading information into the boy's brain. Implanting wanted posters of all pirates and criminals.
The weapon of the WG would be given images of the Straw Hat pirates and Portgas D. Ace.
It froze the image of Fire Fist Ace. Then shifted images of the straw hats..
S-Monkey unconsciously slowly lifted its head up. As it was struck with a memory?
It could see itself fighting with fire fist ace, fighting marines..? Then running with Fire Fist Ace.
The memory flashed to seeing a tall marine admiral in clad clashing with Ace, then burned Ace.
The next memory flashed as it saw the red admiral infront of him sneering at him in disgust... as a pained expression was on his face seeing a magma fist plow right through him...
This made S-Monkey's hands clench...
The Navy.. killed him?
It would begin to reach for the mask and goggles and tear it apart. As it would punch itself out of its capsule.
Standing up in its child like appearance its flames would ignite on its back.
The alarms would blaring.
As it's eyes were Star like pupils..
Suddenly the doors opened to reveal Vegapunk 6. York. Who was close by when the alarms blared and that it was coming from the seraphim chamber.
She suddenly saw S-Monkey who stood there in silence.
"Well aren't you a cute seraphim.. what are you doing out?" York says.
S-Monkey stares at her blankly and calmly raises his hand at her charging up laser beam
"I order you to stand down S-monkey. You wouldn't destroy little ol me would you?" York says with her smile but was confident that S-monkey would obey her commands due to certain directives
How wrong she was, S-Monkey's response was blasting his laser at her in full force. As she was caught in the range of his blast, blasted into nothing but ashes as her screams of agony echoed
Now free… he turned to the other capsules that contained the other Seraphim's.
He is designated as Seraphim 8. And he raises his hands to blast each of the capsules
Only leaving one standing
S-Monkey continued relentlessly firing laser beams at the capsules making sure all the other developing Seraphim's were destroyed.
He only left One capsule standing. As he walked towards it, And saw a girl, Her face looked familiar as he clutched his head, Having flashbacks of a woman who helped him..
"H…Hancock?" S-Monkey spoke.
He snapped his head when he heard labored breathing. He sees barely alive S-Hawk.
S-Monkey walked over to it and then raised towered above the damaged Seraphim. And coated his fists in Haki and would savagely smash his fists into S-Hawk's head. Destroying it.
After finishing off S-Hawk. He turned to the 3rd pod that contained S-Snake and would activate it, awakening her.
S-Snake would finally awaken as she came out of her pod and stares at S-Monkey.
She blushed at the sight of S-Monkey.
"Lu-Luffy~" Spoke S-snake in a beautiful blush.
S-Monkey's face would resemble with a grin like the original luffy.
Before the two could do anything. Another voice interrupted them.
"Hey! What's going on here!" Shouted Lilith Vegapunk who stared in shock seeing both S-Monkey and S-Snake... out? Her eyes went over to see a destroyed S-Hawk.. then sees all the other Seraphims destroyed!?
"What the?!" She shouted but before she could run or do something S-Monkey flew to her and grabbed her knocking her unconscious.
"Come. Hancock.." S-Monkey says with her following him as he held Lilith like a sack of potatoes.
"Kya~ Luffy~" S-Snake says blushing as she followed him.
Now they must escape...
