Spiral of Destiny
Chapter 44: Evaluations
The scene was silent as three sets of eyes met. One appeared amused, one angry, and one a mix of curiosity and irritation. Ikari allowed the silence to play out for a few moments, giving the "Hunter" and "Watcher" time to adequately glare at one another before clearing her throat to break the silence.
"Thank you both for joining me." She said, attempting to sound professional but unable to keep the amusement from her eyes. Kirie turned a sour glare on her.
"What is he doing here?" She asked, pointing an accusatory finger at the "Hunter" sitting opposite her.
"You already asked that." Sai interjected calmly, causing Kirie's glare to be turned back on him.
"And I didn't get an answer, now did I?" She snapped, earning herself a weary smile in return. Ikari smiled placating.
"Now now, I know this isn't exactly what either of you were expecting, but let's try to be civil. I believe we are all here to discuss the same matter."
"What are you talking about?" Kirie looked from Ikari to Sai and back again.
"The current issues surrounding the Blade Children."
"He "caused" the current issues surrounding the Blade Children!" An accusing finger was again jabbed in Sai's direction.
"You can't pin the current state of things on me." Sai defended evenly.
"Wanna bet?"
"That's enough." A raised hand silenced both parties as they turned their attention to Ikari once more.
"Listen. I know the two of you have never been on the best of terms, even while serving on the same side. But this issue is not something that can be solely blamed on Mr. Ewogasa. Miss Tsuchiya, you are allowing your distaste for both him and his chosen allegiance to dictate your actions. That will not be productive." A muffled scoff from Sai earned him death daggers from Kirie as she turned her glare on him once more.
"What good is having a "Hunter" here?" The question was addressed to Ikari, but her eyes never left Sai, who appeared far less affected by her malice than she would have liked.
"Because even though he is a "Hunter", he is not the one that has been causing trouble in these recent weeks." A sidelong glance was briefly cast at Sai before continuing. "Not completely, anyway." Sai exhaled slowly, pinching the bridge of his nose before running his thumb and pointer finger across his eyes wearily. Kirie did the same, earning them an amused smile from Ikari that she quickly concealed behind the back of her hand. Once the dramatics had finished and both parties were looking at her once more, she spoke. "From what has been presented on the news and information I've received from multiple different sources, I believe it is obvious where the problem lies in this current situation." Both heads nodded, glancing reluctantly at one another before refocusing on her. She continued.
"Sai," She turned her attention fully on him. "When you called me you asked to get my thoughts on the situation surrounding the Blade Children as things stand now. You said you were seeking different viewpoints on the matter." She turned her attention to Kirie. "What better way to achieve that than to get a view of the situation from the perspective of each side in this fight, as well as those who hold the middle ground?" Reluctantly Sai nodded, but Kirie shook her head.
"But what good will this do? We're never going to agree. That's the whole reason we have different groups to begin with." She stated, calmer now.
"Not to mention that you're practically a "Saver" yourself." Sai commented softly, taking a sip of his tea.
"I'm a "Watcher"!" Kirie snapped, glaring at Sai once more.
"So you say."
"Don't you dare judge me. I know where my loyalties lie!"
"I'm sure you do. And ninety percent of the time it's with the Blade Children. You think I don't see the way you interact with Eyes Rutherford at school? You're more involved than most "Savers"."
"It's called staying informed. With everything that's been happening the "Watchers" need more accurate information. That's all!"
"Just keep telling yourself that. Maybe one day someone will actually believe it."
"That's enough of that." Ikari interjected, halting their bickering. "While Miss Tsuchiya certainly leans more toward alignment with the "Savers" than most "Watchers" - come now dear you can't deny that - she hasn't left her role as a "Watcher" and has yet to directly influence anything that's happened. You yourself are a rather passive "Hunter". You've been more like a "Watcher" lately from what I've been told." Sai's eyes narrowed, but he didn't comment. Ikari paused to take a sip of her tea before continuing.
"Regardless of who is or isn't sticking to the parameters of the group they've chosen, I think we can all agree that we share a common enemy at this point?" Both nodded, earning a mirrored response from Ikari.
"Right now things with the Blade Children are out of control. In the last 18 years I've never seen this number of Blade Children eliminated in such a short time or so brutal a manner."
"Isn't that what you want, though? Slaughter the kids all at once and get it over with?" Kirie asked, looking at Sai with irritation. His expression matched hers.
"Not like this. The Blade Children need to be eliminated before their curse turns them into a threat to the population that we can't contain. But we don't hate the kids. It's just something we have to do to protect the majority. No one I work with wants to see the Blade Children suffer." Kirie crossed her arms.
"I find that unlikely." Sai's gaze narrowed, but he held his tongue. Ikari shook her head lightly.
"Sai, you've always been a caring man. I have no doubt you wish to see everything end without suffering. While we may wish for different outcomes, I think that is something that we can all agree on, correct?" All heads nodded, each member looking down thoughtfully at the table. Silence settled over the group for several moments before Kirie spoke.
"So if you don't want these kids to suffer, then what are the "Hunters" doing?" For the first time her tone held confusion rather than disgust as she addressed Sai. Wearily he rubbed his forehead, shaking his head as his posture sagged in fatigue.
"Makoto is out of control. He's pulling our fight into the open and is going to jeopardize everything. At this rate things won't end well for the "Hunters" or the Blade Children."
"Can't you rein him in? Aren't you some big hotshot leader among the "Hunters"?" Sai shook his head.
"Makoto has never held any respect for me. Not when we worked on the Blade Children project and certainly not now that he's gotten himself involved in the game."
"Can't you force him to stop?"
"Not without endangering my men. And to what end? We may be able to slow Makoto, but really do we have any right to try and stop him? Right now he's being an idiot in his method, but he hasn't done anything outside the rules set in place for "Hunter" operations."
"Of course you should try to stop him! Look at what he's doing!"
"Now hold on." All eyes turned to Ikari, who held up a hand to further stress her desire for their attention. "Let's go back to what Sai just said. At this point I think he is right to reserve action. While Makoto's methods are immoral, they are not threatening those uninvolved with this fight. If we judge things by societal standards, then of course intervention is needed. But looking at things from the lens of our isolated war, the lines blur."
"So you think that nothing should be done?" Kirie's tone was accusatory. Even Sai appeared surprised by the implication of Ikari's words. She shook her head.
"Not at all. I completely believe that Makoto should and needs to be stopped. But given Sai's position in this war, I don't necessarily believe that it is his duty to do anything about this matter. He is a "Hunter". So is Makoto. Their methods are different but their goal is the same and whether you and I like it or not, Miss Tsuchiya, both of them are carrying out that goal according to the rules that were established at the very beginning when everything went sideways with the project." Kirie let a heavy sigh escape as she leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms and turning her gaze to the tabletop.
"So what then? I can't interfere, but what can be done? Makoto's actions affect everyone. If he gets the public's attention too focused on the Blade Children its going to come out what those kids have done. All of them are bloody. They won't just be let off the hook with a claim of self defense. And many of them are adults now, so they'll be tried as such. If things come to light, its going to affect everyone. The "Watchers" and "Savers" included. For our own sake, don't we have an obligation to stop him?" Sai shook his head.
"That's certainly a selfish reason to get involved." His tone held disgust as he looked evenly at Kirie.
"So you're saying you don't care if you spend the rest of your life in prison because Makoto exposes this fight to the world? Everyone involved is complicit. How many people will suffer because of this?"
"So you're saying you don't care to do anything more than observe until there's suddenly a threat to your way of life? That's hypocritical. To answer your question, no, I don't care if I face the consequences of what I've done. Every person who joins the "Hunters" understands that risk. We aren't evil people. We're doing what needs to be done to protect everyone because cowards like you are content to just sit and wait things out!"
"How dare you?" Kirie seethed, matching Sai's look of irritation with one of her own. "You act to try and "protect" the population from a threat that might not even be real! At least the "Watchers" have the good sense to wait and monitor the situation for an "actual" threat before taking action rather than just blindly murdering children under the claim of doing a favor to society!"
"If we wait until their curse activates it will be too late. You accuse us of acting on a false threat, but we've seen the curse. "I" have seen the curse; how it changes them and the amount of damage they can do when it does activate. That was when they were literal children! Now what do you think will happen if instead of it being one singular child you have dozens of grown adults flipping and turning into murderous beings that we can't stop?" Though his voice remained clipped, his frustration and anger was clearly showing and coming dangerously close to breaking the calm facade he was desperately trying to keep in place. "It will be a blood bath."
"But you have no way of knowing if their curse will even activate or not. Okay, I'll concede that the curse is real and that some of the Blade Children have succumbed to it. I've read the reports. But by your logic their curse shouldn't have even activated yet. So why? Did you ever stop to think that maybe the constant stress of being hunted by "you" could be why their switch flipped? Maybe if you left them alone and just "monitored" like we suggested at the start of all this, that there wouldn't have been a problem?"
"Your argument is irrelevant. The curse is too great a threat to society to be left alone and these children, whether their curse activates or not, are seasoned killers. Regardless of whether your position or mine was right in the beginning, the fact is that at this point these children need to be eliminated. They are a threat even without the addition of their curse activating."
"That doesn't mean they have to die!"
"Yes, it does."
"Watch your volume, both of you. Keep in mind where we are." Both fell silent as Ikari's warning broke into their argument. Looking around the establishment, both were relieved to see that no one seemed to be paying any mind to them. The cafe was rather empty and no one sat near the small table at the back of the place where their meeting was being held. Kirie took a slow, deep breath.
"Look, ideals aside. Can we all agree that something has to be done about Makoto before he hurts anyone else?" All heads nodded. "I don't like the idea of killing the Blade Children without a reason, but if they have to die I don't want them to suffer like they have been. It's just too cruel." Another set of nods passed through the group. Sai looked at Ikari.
"What are your thoughts? Is there anything that can be done to stop or at least impair Makoto's actions in this fight? Should I and my "Hunters" get involved or will that only cause more problems?" Ikari was silent for a moment, taking a thoughtful sip of her tea before slowly answering. "The "Savers" are working on something to try and slow Makoto's actions, but unfortunately we are only a small group and we don't have the combat skills of the "Hunters". If the battle turns bloody, there won't be much the "Savers" can do to stop him."
"If he involves civilians, you mean?" Kirie questioned, tightening her crossed arms against her body. Ikari nodded. Sai looked down thoughtfully.
"Everything is so fractured right now."
"And Makoto is at the heart of it." Sai nodded.
"But is there anything we can do about it? Do we have the authority to do anything about it?" He asked, looking at both women seated across from him. Kirie looked down, unable to answer.
"What about the police?" Kirie suggested after a moment. "If Makoto is making things public, why not just tip the police off about him?"
"That's not possible." Sai exhaled heavily, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms. "Makoto has familial ties and "Hunters" loyal to him within the police force. Anything we might try to bring before them would just be turned around on us or buried to protect him." Kirie threw her hands into the air in exasperation.
"Then what can we do? Is there nothing that can stop him?" Ikari sighed, rubbing her hands wearily over her face before sitting back in her chair. Sai and Kirie fell silent as they look at her.
"For the time being, I think you, Sai, should keep an eye on Makoto's activities. Watch for anything that he might be doing that falls outside of what's allowed within the rules of this war. As a "Hunter" you have more allies even outside your group than either of us do, so see if there is anything that can be done by the people who are closer to Makoto. See if you can find anyone who can hold some power over him." Sai nodded.
"That was actually my next step. I know of a few people who hold some influential power in this game and will likely not be pleased to find out that Makoto is behind these killings. If things go as I hope they will, Makoto's actions may, at the very least, slow down." Ikari nodded in approval.
"Very good. If you would, keep me informed of what the outcome of your intervention is. It will help all three of our factions to stay safe in the wake of the damage Makoto has done." She turned her attention to Kirie.
"For you, Miss Tsuchiya, I would like you to maintain contact with the Blade Children so we can monitor their movements and effectively coordinate our own. For your own safety, avoid communicating with Makoto if at all possible. It is inevitable that Sai and I will need to cross his path, but there is no reason you should put yourself in harms way. As things stand now, I don't know that Makoto would leave you unharmed simply because you hold the role of observer."
"I'd still like to help. This whole situations affects all of us. I can't just stay on the side and do nothing."
"And yet you still assert that you're an impartial observer. Can you even claim to be a "Watcher" at this point?" Sai muttered under his breath, causing her to round on him.
"I am a "Watcher"! But the actions of the "Hunters" are jeopardizing the safety of everyone involved in this fight. I'm not willing to stand by and do nothing while Makoto brings Armageddon down on our heads because he's too stupid to exercise some tact! This has nothing to do with saving or killing the Blade Children!" A sigh from Ikari drew the attention back to her, silencing both parties and keeping Sai from responding.
"The idea of "Savers", "Watchers", and "Hunters" is so outdated at this point. Such designations were effective back when the sides in this fight were clear. But it just doesn't work anymore." She paused to look over the faces of the two younger people sitting before her. "Everything is blurred and I think if we want to have any chance of making it through this safely, we need to re-evaluate where we stand. It might be time to abandon the idea of "Savers" and "Hunters" and "Watchers" and combine them to make something new that is a mix of all three? We have always operated as if things have been black and white, but this current situation shows us the danger of such thinking. Everything is going to collapse because Makoto is working toward the "Hunters" goal of eliminating the Blade Children by any means necessary regardless of the consequences to himself or others in this fight. He's operating as a "Hunter" that is the definition of your rules," She looked to Sai. "And by those same rules your hands are tied to the point of inaction because those same rules dictate that he's acting in accordance to the "Hunter" mission." She turned to Kirie. "By that same logic, your hands are tied into inaction because the rules of the "Watchers" dictate that you cannot interfere. Even if you want to get involved, you won't allow yourself to. The fact that you defend your status as an observer so vehemently showcases what is wrong with the separations we have among the people involved in this fight." A heavy sigh escaped her lips as she clasped her hands on the table top. "This situation can no longer be approached from the perspective of black and white. If things don't change. If "we" don't change. We're going to be swallowed up by this." Sai and Kirie exchanged looks before refocusing on Ikari. Eventually Sai spoke.
"I understand the argument you are making, Ikari-san, but it's not something that is so easily accomplished." He paused for a moment, debating his next words. "Nor is it something that I think should necessarily be done. Yes, things are less black and white than they were before, but the situation has not gotten so far out of hand that there is no longer a place for all three groups. Attempting to enact such a plan to change the goals of each faction would only end in failure. There are too many who have held to these beliefs and rules for too long to change now." Kirie nodded in silent agreement. Ikari smiled morose.
"Well, you are entitled to your own beliefs. But keep what was said here today in mind. There may come a time where such a unification may not seem so far fetched to your ears. For now, let us attempt to proceed as we discussed. Please keep me informed on what sort of outcome you see from reaching out to your contacts, Mister Ewogasa." Giving a nod, Sai rose to his feet.
"I certainly will, Ikari-san. Thank you for taking this time to meet me today. It was a rather useful exchange." Pausing, he checked his watch before retrieving his coat from the back of his chair. "I have another matter to attend to, but it was good seeing you again. I'll be in touch." Looking from Ikari to Kirie, he gave a curt nod before turning and exiting the establishment.
Kirie watched Sai's departure before rising to her feet as well.
"I should be going too. This conversation has given me some things to think about." A gentle hand falling on her own halted her movement.
"Before you go, Miss Tsuchiya, if I could borrow a moment more of your time?" Curious, Kirie lowered herself back into her chair, removing her hand from beneath Ikari's but making no other effort to move away.
"Sure. What do you need?" Ikari returned her hand to her own lap, keeping her gaze centered on Kirie.
"I was hoping you could help me with a small matter."
"That depends on what it is." She looked curiously at the older woman, who smiled encouragingly at her.
"You remember meeting my sons?" Kirie nodded. "I was hoping to introduce them to the Blade Children, particularly those children that are active at Tsukiomi Academy. However, I have no effective way of contacting them or establishing a meeting with all of them present. I know you are limited on how involved you can get, but if you could, would you be willing to contact that young pianist and arrange a meeting between them and my sons?" Kirie smiled.
"Of course. I don't have a problem doing that." Ikari smiled as well.
"Thank you. If you've got a few minutes we can discuss the details."
OOoOoOo
Hiroshume sat in stunned silence as he listened to the news broadcast coming from his computer. He had been in the middle of researching history on the Blade Children and "Hunters" when the breaking news story had alerted on his phone. Now he sat staring wide eyed at the screen, watching in disbelief as the anchorwoman described the scene and delivered the names of the two victims. Sucking in a deep breath, he leaned away from the computer, resting his back against the base of his couch and clasping one hand apprehensively in front of his lips.
"This isn't good." He mumbled, shaking his head as he continued to listen to the report. Mashiro Sota and Tsubaki Ichinose. He recognized the names; both as classmates and as members of the Blade Children from the list Kisame had compiled for him. Clenching his jaw, he huffed and leaned forward again, placing his hands on the keyboard and minimizing the news now that the story had concluded. He cursed low under his breath. Glancing at the time, he noted the hour as 5am, causing him to sigh again. Taking a deep breath, he retrieved his phone and reluctantly dialed. When the line connected, the hacker was met with silence. After a moment, Hiroshume steeled his nerves and spoke.
"Did you see it?"
"Yes I did." Hiroshume pulled back internally at the barely masked danger behind Kisame's even tone. He swallowed hard.
"What's our move?"
"I'm personally in favor of murder." Hiroshume's eyes widened.
"Are you serious?" He heard a sigh from the older teen.
"Extremely, but I won't. Don't get yourself worked up." Hiroshume slowly released a held breath.
"What is going on? Why is this happening so fast? What kind of monsters are we dealing with?"
"The kind that need to be culled."
"Is that really the only option we have?"
"It's the only one I like." Hiroshume tensed, taking a moment to consider his response before speaking.
"Do you think the others will agree to that?"
"Do you think I care?" Anxiety spread into Hiroshume's posture and he found himself hunching into himself. He'd never experienced Kisame like this before and to say it didn't scare him would be a lie. It felt like he was talking to a stranger, and one that he'd much rather avoid than converse with. He forced his voice to remain even as he spoke.
"That seems like too big a fight to take on alone."
"Not if you have the right motivation."
"What about our plan? The one we made with the others?"
"It's a waste of time."
"Shouldn't we at least try?"
"I couldn't care less anymore." Hiroshume swallowed thickly, allowing a bit too long of a pause before catching himself and speaking.
"Shouldn't we at least talk to the others?" A heavy sigh could be heard on the other side of the line followed by a short pause.
"Yes we should." Hiroshume felt himself relax. He no longer had to handle this alone.
"I'll contact the others. Why don't you come over? We can talk with everyone and make a plan?"
"Fine." Without waiting for a response, the line went dead. Taking a second for his nerves to settle as he processed the conversation he had just had, Hiroshume quickly turned his phone to face him and sought out the next person he needed to call. If he didn't act fast Kisame would arrive before anyone else; and he really didn't want to be stuck in a face to face confrontation with the man in his current state. Hearing the line connect, he was quick to speak.
"Hey Eyes. We have a problem."
It had only taken a few minutes for Hiroshume to explain what was happening before Eyes ended the call and made his way to the young hacker's apartment. While he had yet to see the news broadcast, the brief description he had received from Hiroshume, as well as the information about Kisame's current reaction to the killings, gave Eyes more than enough information to understand the need for urgency in reaching the hacker's side. Taking a taxi in favor of walking, the young performer managed to reach the apartment before anyone else and was silently admitted inside as the younger male finished speaking to Kaonone about the situation.
"Are you okay?" Eyes questioned once the call had been ended. Hiroshume glanced briefly up from his phone at the question before returning his attention to finding the next number he needed to contact.
"I'm fine. I've never heard Hosagi like that, but I'm sure you guys have and know how to keep him from exploding. As long as I don't have to try and diffuse that bomb alone, I'm good." Giving a nod, Eyes fell silent as Hiroshume located the next number and moved the phone to his ear. As it connected and he began to speak, Hiroshume motioned Eyes over to the couch and, once the pianist had seated himself, turned his computer to the performer, where a video of the news report was cued to be played. Nodding, Eyes waited for Hiroshume to walk to the other side of the room and started the video.
The others had all been contacted by the time Kisame reached the hacker's apartment. Hiroshume appeared apprehensive as Eyes let him in, but neither man commented as Kisame entered and moved to stand near the sliding door of the balcony.
"The others will be here shortly." Eyes stated calmly, earning an even response from Kisame.
"That's fine."
"Have you seen the news?" Eyes pressed, coming to stand across from Kisame on the opposite side of the doorway.
"Yeah, I did. Have you?" Eyes nodded.
"When I arrived here." Kisame nodded as well, turning his head to look out the window in favor speaking. His jaw was set; his arms crossed firmly over his chest. Eyes allowed the silence, turning to follow Kisame's gaze out the window. The only sound that broke the quiet was the gentle tapping of Hiroshume's keyboard as they waited for the others.
Kanone was next to arrive, followed closely by Kousuke and Rio. After consulting with Eyes, Hiroshume had also contacted Shinu, but the young man had declined attending the meeting and said he would look into things on his own and reconnect with the Blade Children on Monday at school.
Everyone was silent as they took their places in the apartment. As the others filtered in, Eyes abandoned his post by the sliding door and Kanone was quick to fill it. Hiroshume sat on the floor on the far side of the low table, having moved there after Eyes arrived to allow the couch to be used. Kousuke and Rio seated themselves on the couch and Eyes joined them as everyone turned their attention to him. No one spoke for several moments before Kanone broke the silence. His tone was cold.
"Has everyone seen the news report?" Rio and Kousuke shook their heads, prompting Hiroshume to turn the laptop toward them so they could view the report. No one spoke as the voice of the announcer filled the air and Hiroshume kept his gaze glued to Kisame and Kanone, watching their reactions as the description of the attack filled the air. Kisame looked angry, but calm. His gaze burned dangerously, but he appeared to be in control of himself. Kanone seemed less so. His outward calm appeared ready to snap at any moment, and the more the announcer described the nature and number of injuries on the victims, the more murderous he seemed to get. Overall, the air in the apartment was suffocating as the announcer's voice died and the news story ended. A low curse from Kousuke broke the tense silence that seemed to smother the apartment.
"What is wrong with these "Hunters"?" Kousuke looked from Eyes to Kanone and then to Kisame, disbelief in his tone. "I know they've been violent before, but this is insane. Isn't it enough to want us dead?" Silent nods moved through the room. Rio shook her head.
"How can we even fight something like this?"
"I have some ideas?" Kisame's tone was sarcastic, dripping with venom.
"I like Kisame's ideas." Kanone stated, his tone dark and barely held in check. Kousuke and Rio shivered at the similarity to his tone during the attack on the school the year prior. Eyes shook his head, keeping his voice even and calm as he spoke.
"Challenging the "Hunters" won't change anything. There are too many of them now for us to go on the offensive."
"Which is why we should lower their numbers." It was difficult to tell whether Kisame was joking or not.
"We would need to know who they are in order to do that." Kousuke pointed out. Kisame turned his head to Hiroshume.
"Hacker?" Hiroshume looked with surprise at the dangerous teen.
"Um, I mean yeah. I could probably find out that information. But I'd need a starting point and it would take some time. These guys seem to be moving pretty fast. Do we have that kind of time to waste?" Eyes cut him off.
"We are not going to challenge bloodshed with more bloodshed if it can be helped. Doing so will make us no better than them."
"I agree with Eyes." Rio stated calmly, closing her eyes briefly and taking a deep breath. "While I'm not against killing in order to protect the Blade Children, I don't think an open attack would achieve what we want. Even if we do manage to lower the "Hunters" numbers, it will only end badly for us. This whole situation is so public that if we start fighting back, we're the ones that will lose. The "Hunters" have to have someone in the police covering things up. Otherwise the connections between the victims would have led to a much larger investigation than what we're seeing."
"Rio makes a good point." Kousuke agreed. "We've already seen the "Hunters" manipulate the police in the past and even hold high ranks. If that's what's happening again, then we're not going to be able to fight back in the open."
"But we can't just leave the "Hunters" to do as they please either. Otherwise things like this will continue to happen." Kanone seemed distant as he spoke. Eyes frowned, noticing how Kanone's mind didn't seem to be on the conversation at hand. His frown deepened as he caught a subtle glance pass between Kanone and Kisame.
"It will only worsen our situation if we act rashly." He cautioned. Kanone fell silent at the veiled reprimand, but didn't seem overly effected by it's meaning.
"What about the original plan?" Hiroshume questioned, drawing the attention back to him. "Yesterday we were talking about moving forward with contacting the other Blade Children and sharing what we know about these new "Hunters". It may not solve the problem, but it can't hurt." He turned to address Kisame specifically. "I was able to track down the personal email addresses for the names you gave me yesterday, so we are ready to reach out to them at any point. If you think it would be better to meet in person rather than sending a message, we can arrange that too." He turned his attention to Eyes to see if he had any thoughts on the matter. Sighing, Eyes nodded.
"It is a start." Nodding, Hiroshume turned back to the "Guns" at the far end of the room.
"Alright. Given what's happened we may need to alter our message a bit." Closing his eyes for a moment in frustration, Kisame released a heavy sigh.
"Fine." Pushing off the wall, He made his way over to the others with Kanone following close behind.
