Chapter 5: The team up begins

From the last chapter Barbie wire pedled her bike away from the restaurant until she stopped at a small bridge near the river as she got off her bike and walked to the bridge guilty as she pulled out the bottle that had Moxxie in it as the little imp was panting panicking as he looked down and saw the river and looked at the tanned skinned female with pleading eyes as she started to feel guilty at what she had do do seeing the poor imp scared as she frowned "STOP! Looking at me like that okay?! Look its not my fault I really dont want to do this and trust me you are not the only one in a bind! They want me to cook your soup again! I never wanted to cook fancy dishes I was just trying to stay out of trouble honestly!" She said as Moxxie studied Barbie "I mean *Looks close at the jar* you were the one getting all fancy with the spices seriously what did you threw into that pot Oregano *Sees Moxxie shaking his head no* isnt it? Uh rosemary? Is it rosemary *Sees Moxxie shaking his head no* no…rosemary?" She asked puzzled wondering if this imp understands him as Moxxie shook his head no "Then what's with the flipping the throwing and the…" she started but all she could just do was sigh as she places the bottle down with Moxxie still in it "You got to understand…I need this job I lost so many in the past due to my past drug abuse and being a drug runner made it hard, my brother and his new husband helped me get clean more so after mom died and now I need to do this if I want to keep my apartment and just become independent" she said as she put her head into her hands as she moaned "I have no idea how to cook fancy and uggh why am I talking to you I am talking to a imp" she said as Moxie just shrugged as Barbie noticed.

"You really…really can understand me?" She asked as Moxxie nodded as she had a realization "Wait…I cant cook fancy dishes…but you can right?" She asked as Moxie did a so so gesture "Dont be modest your a imp, this this really had to work I mean they like the soup" she said but she accidently knocked the bottle with Moxxie in the bottle into the river as with a yelp Barbie dived in to save him…

Minutes later Barbie was cold and wet but she managed to save Moxxie also cold and wet still in the bottle "Sorry about that" she said Embarrassed as Moxxie ringed out his cloths "But back to the point, one of our customers liked the soup…I wonder if you can make it again?" She asked as Moxxie studied Barbie wire and then nodded "Okay good *takes the bottle* I am going to let you out but when I do we are in this together ok?" Asked Barbie as Moxxie nodded as she took a breath and opened the lid and tipped the bottle allowing Moxxie to slip out as the imp took one look at Barbie…and then patted ran down the cobble stone path as Barbie watched hurt that Moxxie didnt want to help "I guess it was too good to be true" she sighed as Moxxie continued…but before he got to far he stopped looking at the tanned female feeling guilty.

She saved him and he wanted to flee "She helped me…I think its the best I can do but help her out" he muttered as Barbie was about to get on her bike she paused hearing footsteps as she turned and to her surprise saw Moxxie coming to her as the little imp smiled up at the human who smiled back "You want to help?" She asked as Moxxie nodded "Then welcome to Club Barbie wire" she said holding her hand down to allow Moxxie to climb up.

Later that night Barbie came into a apartment building carring in her bike as Moxxie rode on her shoulder as she closed the door behind her once the bike was in "Well this is it my home, my twin brother and his husband got me this apartment, but they will continue to pay for it if I can keep a steady job *Sees Moxxie looking around curious* well club Barbie wire isnt much little chef, but its a good home, it has heat, a light, couch and a TV set…what is mine is yours so make yourself at home ok?" Asked Barbie showing a window that had an amazing view of Paris "it maybe cozy but it has an amazing view" she said as Moxxie and to agree.

That night as Barbie slept in her bed a movie is being played on the TV as a hellhound male holding his love interest a female sucubus in his arms

Sucubus: is this a women I wonder?

The camera goes to the window sill as Moxxie in his own homemade bed as he looked out the window at Paris at night smiling

Sucubus: but why here and now?

Hellhound: why not here and now? The best place to dream is in Paris

"Dream indeed" said Moxxie looking at the view as he went to sleep with big plans Tommorow

The next day Barbie wire woke up groaning as her bed wasnt comfortable but its the best she can afford on what little pay she got as she got out of bed "Ugg morning little Chef rise and…" she started but was surprised to see Moxxie was gone as she moaned "Uggg *Sees her fridge was open* I shoulda known honestly what a dose I tell him what mine is his and he takes it literary *Studies the fridge as she frowns* great the eggs and bacon are gone *Closes the fridge as she goes to her dinning area "And worst of it all he stuffs the food before he took off I shoulda known better then to trust a…" however she passed and sniffed smelling something as she saw to her surprise Moxxie with a pan and was using a spatula to move a perfect folded Omulet onto a plate with his own omelet on the side ready to eat as she blinked.

"Uhh you…made that for me?" She asked as Moxxie nodded as she sat down as the imp ate some of the omelet as Barbie wire does the same and was impressed as she enjoyed the omelet "This is amazing and really good what did you put into this?" Asked Barbie as Moxxie showed a piece of a herb "Huh where did you get that?" She asked as Moxxie pointed to a apartment area with a garden "that is good and all Little chef but dont steal I promise to get some fresh spices" said Barbie as the two finishing there breakfast as Barbie saw the clock "Gahh not on my first day! *Finishes her omelet as she grabs Moxxie* come on little Chef we need to hurry to the restaurant!" She said as Moxxie yelped as she ran out of the door.

Back at the restaurant the kitchen staff had arrived and got ready to work for today as Verkrosia has picked up todays paper planning to see what Rolondo had said in his usual review column as the others gathered around to hear as Deerie was walking to where they were as Verkrosia read Rolondos review in the paper "I, like my fellow critics have written off Assago as relevant ever since the great cooks death the soup was an amazement, a spicy yet sudden tasty experience" said Verkrosia reading the article as Derrie heard that and was surprised "Rolondol Walters said that?" She asked "You got that every word" said Tex as Verkrosia continued to read "after all that happened Assagos restaurant has restored our attention, only time will tell if they keep at it" said Verkrosia finishing grinning seeing the potential that Barbie can do to help make the restaurant prouder "We will see about that" she said with a huff as she still dont believe that the garbage female can cook well she will keep an eye on her no matter what.

Back outside Barbie and Moxxie was outside the restaurant as the female was wondering how to continue her 'success' without anyone else knowing as Moxxie tapped on her sleeve showing an idea that he can hide and guide her "That can work…I cant believe we are going to do this but we cant to it by ourselves" said Barbie as she and the imp shared a look "We have to work together and do this are you with me?" Asked Barbie as Moxxie nodded "Alright lets do this!" Said Barbie ready for her and Moxxie together to keep this job are on the path and on the way!

Authors note: well a team up is formed now Moxxie and Barbie must work together to help Barbie make fancy dishes the first the soup that impressed Rolondo and his wife.

Next chapter Barbie and Moxxie struggle a bit to find a pattern to cool until a discovery is made that can help
