In the cave, Diego and Maria were watching Bernando hack into city hall's security system which was taking him longer than normal.
"Jack upped the security system more than we had figured," said Diego.
"We can't even sneak into the building anymore, cameras and motion sensors are all over the place and even the windows are trapped so getting in through there will be impossible," said Maria.
"Hm, you got something bro?" asked Diego as he noticed Bernado motioning to them while sitting at the computer.
"Looks like he managed to get into the cameras," said Maria.
"Zorro and Scarlet Whip are still getting in my way," said Gloria, who was in her office with Jack. She was standing at a window looking out at the city while Jack sat on the couch.
"Don't worry mother, we'll get them sooner or later," said Jack.
"You fool!" yelled Gloria while grabbing a nearby vase and throwing it at him, but missing as the vase hit the wall instead.
"I wanted them caught months ago!" she yelled.
"Wha… what about that?" asked Jack who was crying a little and put emphasis on the word 'that'.
"Project Alpha is not ready yet, there are too many problems for us to use it on the public yet," said Gloria while taking a seat behind her desk.
"It causes aggression in those it's used on instead of making them submissive like we are looking for," she said.
"Which is why we should use it on the low lifes of this city," said Jack.
"You mean the homeless?" asked Gloria.
"Exactly, then we can use Project Beta after a while to put things back under control which will make you look even better in the eyes of the people while making those heroes look like fools," said Jack.
"That could work," said Gloria with an evil smile.
"I didn't think the two of them could get any worse," said Diego.
"We had better keep an eye on the homeless population, whatever they are planning we have to stop it," said Maria.
