"I don't recognize this ceiling"
The ceiling was nice and clean and everything around him was soft, wait where the hell was he? What happened last night?
"Oh wait I fell unconscious cause of mana exhaustion, oh well I guess I shouldn't have expected more from my weak body..."
It was depressingly quiet nothing but the bird chirping as ambience in the room... until...
"Oh my, dear sister the guest is an utterly depraved man who sleeps all day"
"Indeed sister, he must spend all day fantasizing"
Of course said comments were enough to piss him off enough to get up and look forward at the end of the bed towards the twin maids
Who look like children?
Christ it's like this world just gets more and more shitty...
"Who the hell are you two"
He replies to their banter with a rather sad look on his face which kind of just egged them on, especially the pink haired one
"I think their names started with an r? I'm not going to dig through all those damn memories"
Though the two of them didn't tell him who they were as they were too busy insulting him for looking depressing, well until Emilia came in of course
"Rem, ram! Why are you being so rude to our guest? He really helped at the battle last night!"
Of course this led to ram replying in a flat tone to Emilia's childish pouty face
"Well if you didn't get lost in the first place then he wouldn't have been there, Emilia-sama"
However before she could continue insulting Subaru, he spoke up
"Actually, you were the one who lost Emilia in the first place which led to you both getting lost in the capital, if you simply didn't lose her then this would have never happened"
Subaru lectured her, knowing the details of the day a little too well which caused rem to narrow her eyes slightly
sigh*
"Why do I even try..."
Subaru laid in his bed for as long as he could completely ignoring the bickering going on around him... well until he got dragged to the dining room to meet Roswaal
"Come on just five minutes..."
Subaru whined and complained on the way as rem and ram were quite literally forced to carry him all the way down the hall before promptly dropping him on the floor of the dinning room
"Ahhhhh~ well if it isn't our wonderful guest~"
Subaru looked up seeing the familiar clown faced man infront of him
'Oh it's that guy from Emilia's memories...'
Subaru inwardly complained about having to meet him while also looking at this guy and thinking about how damn creepy his face is until a pop up appeared in his face
