Part 8 of 9

Later

"Come on Fujisaki, where could you have vanished to." Hank wondered, as he was wandering the hallways on his own after chaos had erupted in the meeting hall after the first body had been discovered and everyone had been scattered. So Hank was now wandering the halls while knocking on the walls to see if there was a secret room anywhere, that was until his attention was grabbed by a faint noise coming from one of the intercoms.

"...And just so you know my Forbidden Action is running in the hallway. You wanna kill me? That's how. Think about it. If I were the Attacker, would I give you this information? Call it collateral. Please, just trust me." Makoto's voice said, as the intercom turned off.

"Now why would he say that..." Hank wondered before his eyes widened in realisation "...Damn fool, he's gonna get himself killed!" He exclaimed, as Hank began to run towards the monitoring room, though having some trouble with it due to still recovering from the time he spent in the simulation.

He kept running until got closer to the monitoring room, as he heard another voice speak over the intercoms "Attention foundation members, I have captured Makoto Naegi and I will execute him for his crimes in a minute." Munakata was heard saying.

"Damn this ankle injury!" Hank thought to himself, as he rushed into the monitoring room and punched Munakata in the face before he could properly swing his sword down to kill Makoto. Causing him to be knocked to the floor, as Hank quickly untied Makoto.

"Sir." Makoto questioned.

"Get outta here kid, I'll hold him off."

"Thank you, I won't forget this." Said Makoto, as he quickly walked out of the room, leaving Hank with a very angry Munakata who had gotten back up again.

"I should have known." Munakata muttered, voice low but brimming with disdain. "You're no different from Naegi. You've sided with the enemy."

Hank raised an eyebrow, as he replied "The heck are you talkin' about? I ain't 'sided' with nobody."

Munakata's eyes burned with conviction, as he roared "Don't play dumb, Hill. You helped Naegi hide Class 77-B. The very same remnants of despair who destroyed the world! You willingly protected them, knowing what they were!"

"Yeah, I did. And I'd do it again. Cause it sure as hell beats allowin' people like you to slaughter people left and right."

"Then you've fallen to despair just like them. You're no better than those who let this tragedy happen in the first place. Hope must be absolute—unyielding! We cannot afford sympathy for those who once embraced despair. If we let our guard down, even for a second, they will betray us. The only way to ensure true peace is to purge all those who have ever been tainted!"

Hank let out a slow breath through his nose. He took a step forward, as he replied to what Munakata had said "Now, you listen to me, son. I don't know what kinda mess you've been livin' in, but where I come from, we don't just go around throwin' people away 'cause they made mistakes. You wanna run around screamin' 'purge this, purge that,' like you're cleanin' a dang grease trap, but people ain't oil stains, Munakata. You don't just scrub 'em out and pretend like that makes the world a better place."

Munakata's fingers tightened around his sword, as he replied "You don't understand what's at stake. The world fell into ruin because people hesitated, because they refused to act when it was necessary!"

Hank shook his head, as he said "No, the world fell into ruin 'cause folks got scared and started actin' like you. They let fear turn 'em into somethin' worse than the thing they were afraid of. You call what you're doin' 'hope,' but I'll tell ya right now, it don't look much different from despair to me."

Munakata's glare intensified, as he continued to roar "I fight for hope. I am willing to do what must be done. The world needs strong people, people who can make the choices weak willed men refuse to make."

Hank shook his head again, his eyes narrowing as he said "Strong? You think killin' anyone who don't fit your little definition of 'acceptable' makes you strong? Son, that ain't strength. That's cowardice. Strength ain't about cutting out the people you think ain't worth savin'. Strength is givin' folks a chance to do better even when it's hard. Even when it ain't convenient for you."

Munakata's jaw clenched, as he replied "And what if they fall into despair again? What if their past catches up to them? What if they betray you? What will you do then?!" To which Hank met his gaze, unwilling to stand down.

"Then we'll deal with it. Not with panic, not with blind slaughter, and not with some self-righteous crusade. We'll do what good folks oughta do, help 'em stand back up and push 'em in the right direction. That's what real hope is. Not your cold, unforgivin' nonsense." Hank said as Munakata kept glaring at him, allowing him to continue "Lemme ask you somethin', Munakata. You lost a lot, didn't ya? Lost friends, lost people you trusted. I saw it when the chandelier fell. And instead of dealin' with that pain, you let it twist you up inside 'til all you could think about was punishin' everyone you blamed for it. You act like you're the last righteous man standin', but all I see is a fella too scared to face his own hurt."

Munakata kept staying silent, so Hank kept goin "Look, I get it. You're mad. You want somethin' to blame. But you're barkin' up the wrong tree, son. Hope ain't about wipin' out everything you're afraid of. It's about buildin' somethin' better. You wanna make sure the world don't go through somethin' like this again? Then you gotta start trustin' folks. You gotta give 'em a chance to be better, not just throw 'em away 'cause it's easier."

"Tch... You're infuriating, Hill. Brave, but infuriating." Replied Munakata with a scoff, as he raised his sword getting ready to strike down Hank "Unfortunately, that bravery will get you nowhere, you helped Naegi and I made up my mind hours ago." Munakata readied his sword, only for his right hand to get pierced through by a small crossbow bolt and he grabbed onto it in pain.

Hank looked over to see Aoi and Makoto standing in the doorway, with them were chairman Tengan and Gekkogahara "Sir come on, now's our chance!" Aoi shouted.

"I'm goin', I'm goin'!" Hank yelled as he quickly rejoined the others while running past Tengan as he asked "Headmaster?"

"Keep fighting for the future, and keep them safe." Tengan replied, as he got ready to engage Munakata.

"You got it." Said Hank, as he took off with the other three, until they were a few hallways away from the monitoring room and Makoto began to apologise for what he had gotten himself into, the conversation kept going until Hank spoke up "Listen, this is where our path diverges."

"What, why?" Asked Aoi.

"I want to make sure everyone else is still safe."

"You would worry about them even after all of them made it clear they want to kill us?" Asked Aoi.

"Most of em' were either former students of mine or I ran into em' during my time at the school. Just need to check they're ok, you guys can keep each other safe, right?" Asked Hank, to which they all nodded. "Good, until we meet again." Said Hank, as he walked off.

Later

"Seriously Kokichi, why the hell are you dressed up like a fascist?" Asked Maki, as the class along with Dale, Peggy, Hiroko, Komaru, Sakura, Kenshiro, Bobby and the Warriors of Hope were making their way over to Monaca's new lair, while Kokichi was dressed in his usual DICE uniform.

"What? Haven't you been keeping an eye on the television channels these last few days. That pint sized brat's been broadcasting her speeches across the city, while dressed in a military uniform, I just thought I'd show her how a real leader does things."

"You look stupid." Said Kotoko.

"Well you should have seen the way she was dressed, almost as if she was trying to become Enoshima. Heck her costume looked worse than Shirogane's, and that's saying something."

"Well fuck you too Kokichi! Like you could have done any better!" Tsumugi exclaimed her face in a twisted scowl, only for it to quickly fade as she felt a tug on her sleeve from Angie. The group then made their way inside of the building, realised they had made their way into a trap, took out the robots that Monaca had send their way, after which they could only watch on as Monaca launched herself into space.

"Well, so much for that, who wants sushi?" Asked Kokichi, as at that moment Dale began to knock on the walls.

"What are you even doing?" Asked Tenko.

"Checkin' for secret rooms, there's gotta be more to this than just the fact that the Naegi kid will be responsible for someone's death." Said Dale, as a good portion of people began to join, until finally they found a secret room that was filled with supplies and a couple of rockets.

"Huh, I was wondering how she was going to survive up there with so little food." Ryoma said, as Dale noticed a nearby control panel that showed the times each of the rockets are supposed to deliver supplies.

"Y'know, I could totally go up there and just arrest her." Said Kaito, as he looked at the rockets.

"Not on your own you're not, if you're going, I'm going up there with you." Said Maki.

"Sure why the hell not, you want to come with us too sidekick?" Asked Kaito.

"Guess you might need someone to uphold the law up there." Replied Shuichi.

"Awesome." Said Kaito, as at the same time Nagisa looked over at the schedule on the control panel.

"So, what should we do with this?" Asked Nagisa.

"I'll leave it up to you kids." Said Dale.

"Just remember, you can kill her now or you can have her face justice." Said Peggy, as Nagisa and the others took a few moments to think it over, before Jataro, Masaru and Kotoko signaled to him to make the decision, before he finally decided to speak up.

"Then we'll leave it be." Replied Nagisa.

"Ok so I just reported back to Makoto on one of the screens here, I feel like we need to do more." Said Komaru.

"There is a boat here that seems to be in some water, and my scanners indicate that it doesn't connect to the river but another body of water." Said Keebo, as the group made their way onto the boat while throwing any possible Monokuma's overboard, Keebo stuck his finger into the ignition of the boat and connected himself to the navigation "It seems we will be able to make it to the Future Foundation in a couple of hours."

"Nyeh, what if we're too late?" Asked Himiko.

"Then we'll just have to hold out hope that we get there in time to stop everything." Said Korekiyo, as Keebo got the boat started and began to steer the boat towards it's destination in the hope of stopping the killing game before everyone died.

"Don't worry dad, we'll save ya." Bobby thought to himself.

Later

"Why don't we tie him up, I'm sure there's steel cables for us to tie him up with it." Said Kizakura, as he and Hank were now looking at Juzo as a trap spear was sticking out of his shoulder.

"You see any 'round here?" Asked Hank, as he kept an eye on Kyoko who was still investigating the room.

"You'd think so, after all, this place is filled with secret compartments." Replied Kizakura.

"Secret compartments huh, maybe that's where Fujisaki is..." Hank thought to himself a bit absentmindedly as he wandered over to Kyoko while thinking "...should I tell her... no she's doin' her own investigation." As at that moment neither one of them noticed that Ruraka had been glaring at the two of them as she pulled out a detonator, pressed it and blew up the floor. Causing Hank and Kyoko to fall through the floor, as Hank instinctively grabbed Kyoko by the hand while holding onto the ledge. As he used what little upper body strength he had at the moment to throw Kyoko to safety as she was caught by Kizakura's hand that wasn't closed.

The two of them then immediately pulled Hank up, as all three of them turned their attention towards Ruraka who had gotten into a shouting match with Juzo, "Always knew there was somethin' twisted about her." Hank thought back to his classes with her, all the while Kyoko was deducing what really had happened during one of the murders that happened during this killing game. All the while he kept thinking about how she always refused to pay attention while acting cruelly to her friends, Hank quickly shook the thoughts away as he noticed Kyoko beginning to leave the room after Juzo had already left, all the while Ruraka kept shouting after her.

"You can't do this! I'll be dead if someone leaves the game!" She shouted but it didn't stop Kyoko, nor did it stop Mitarai and Kizakura who quickly followed after her.

Hank took one final look at her, as he said "Honestly Ando, between you and Munakata, you were both some of my least favourite students to teach." After which he left the room, and met up with the others in the hallway.

"Hill, Kizakura, thank you for the rescue." Kyoko said, as Hank arrived "But I have to ask, what caused you to be so absentminded, you're not usually one to be lost in thought."

"Right that, Fujisaki has been missin' since the start of this game. With the mention of secret rooms, I thought it could be where he ended up."

"That is unfortunate, there is not much I can do at the moment, I'm currently running my own investigation in this place. Maybe you and Kizakura can look for him."

"I can do that." Said Kizakura "Just stay safe out there."

"I will." Said Kyoko, as she and Mitarai took off, leaving the two alone as they began to roam the halls in silence.

"So, just between you and me, thanks." Said Kizakura.

"For what?"

"Being there instead of me." Replied Kizakura as he showed his bracelet showing the forbidden action of opening his right hand. "Cause if I was there, I don't think I would have survived. 'Least now I can keep the promise I made to Jin years ago."

"You're a good man Kizakura, a man of principles despite his vices."

"Thanks, now let's find that missing student." Said Kizakura, as the two of them began to walk off.

Later

"Ugh, this does not get any easier." Said Hank, as he and Kizakura woke up after being put to sleep for the fourth time limit while they had been looking for Chihiro.

"Tell me about it, surely this much anaesthesia can't be good for one person." Replied Kizakura, as at that point the intercoms were heard once again.

"Makoto Naegi."

"Oh no." Hank thought, as the worst possible scenario ran through his head "Please don't tell me he's dead."

"If you're awake, I assume you've discovered what Kirigiri's Forbidden Action was. Do you understand now? Do you see the truth? Your platitudes are useless. It's time to cast them aside. Time to settle once and for all whose hope is real. Yours or mine." Munakata said, as the intercoms turned off again.

"Wait..." Hank started.

"...He said forbidden action." Kizakura continued.

"She's dead, isn't she?" Hank asked.

"As dead as anyone else who performs their forbidden action." Replied Kizakura. "But what do we do now?"

"Knowing Naegi, he's probably going to Munakata. I might as well go after him, stop 'im from doin' somethin' foolish." Said Hank.

"I'll go find Kyoko's body, gonna make sure that no one messes with it. I'm sure it's what her father would have wanted." Replied Kizakura, as he began to walk away. "Stay safe out there."

"You too." Replied Hank, as he took off in search of Makoto.

Meanwhile

"Kirigiri" Chihiro thought as he heard the announcement play "I won't let whatever happened to you be for nothing." As he then continued to let his computer do the work of getting through the firewalls of the Futuree Foundation HQ.

Later

"When did despair first get its hooks into you? Was it the Mutual Killing Game at Hope's Peak that seduced you into darkness?" Munkata roared as he held Makoto up by the throat, while Hank was approaching the two of them until Munakata turned his head around and threw a knife in Hank's direction that ended up catching him by the collar as he got stuck in a nearby wall, while the force of the action caused his head to hit the wall making him miss parts of the conversation, though not missing "Stay out of this Hill, I won't let you distract me this time."

And as the conversation kept going Hank tried to regain his bearings from hitting his head so hard against the wall. That kept going until he was able to fully follow the conversation as Munakata asked "And you Hill, what would you have done if your wife and son had fallen into despair. Huh! You kept going on earlier about not becoming like the despair, but what would you have done!"

"Nrrg..." Hank struggled, as he grabbed the handle from the knife stuck in the wall and threw it at Munakata, causing it to get stuck in his back as he was knocked to the floor. "...Honestly, I doubt they would have been able to. Fallin' into despair essentially means that you gave tryin', and they don't give up no matter how hard thin's get. But even if they did, I'd try to talk sense back into em'. Cause that is what you do when you're family, you support one another even when it's difficult. The fact that you started killin' those around you, means you gave up ages ago."

"No... no I didn't, I did what had to be done." Said Munakata as he fell silent trying to keep his composure.

"Spillin' oceans of blood, right, I don't believe you." Said Hank, as he noticed Makoto was beginning to walk away "Naegi, where are you going."

"There is something I need to test out, something that might explain how a good portion of the murders in here were carried out."

"Not alone you're not, look at you. You've been runnin' yourself ragged, and you've been bawlin' your eyes out. Are you still ok?" Asked Hank, as Makoto threw himself into a hug with him. To which Hank sighed as he comforted him "It's alright to feel this way."

"She sacrificed her own life to keep me alive, of course I feel terrible, how could I not feel this way. So I have to move forward, for both of us. See this through, for both of us."

"But do you need to do it alone?" Asked Hank, letting go of Makoto as he gave him a stern look.

"Then we'll go together." Replied Makoto, as Hank nodded and the two began to take off, while Munakata got to his feet and began to stumble into the other direction.

Later

"Naegi, keep your hands off the knife!" Hank exclaimed, as Makoto had been exposed to the despair video and was beginning to move towards the knife that dropped out of the cabinet underneath the screen.

"Sure. On my way." Makoto kept repeating, as Hank was trying to restrain him, but found that the effects of being in the simulation were putting a hamper on things.

So Hank kept struggling to fight off Makoto, only for himself to get accidentally exposed to the lights "Oh no." he whispered, as his view changed to that of some weird painting where he met up with his father.

"Well, ain't this a fine mess you got yourself into." The hallucination of Cotton said.

"Dad...?"

"Didn't I tell ya goin' to Japan would be bad, and look what happened, I was right."

"Don't start..."

"Well what are you gonna do about it, huh? Nothin', you still as weak as ever." Cotton continued.

"Oh yeah, well how about this..." Hank replied as he approached the Cotton hallucination and began to punch him, only for it to look like he was punching the wall to the outside world.

"The hell is he doing?" Asked Juzo, after he had shown up to save Makoto.

"He got exposed to it as well, but I guess it has a different effect on him." Said Makoto.

"I don't have time for this." Said Juzo, as he punched the screen, destroying it in the process as Hank snapped out of his daze.

"What the..."

"There, back to the real world for you."

"What did you see?" Asked Makoto.

"My dad, it made me more angry than despairful." Replied Hank.

"Well whatever, I did what had to be done and said what needed to be said." Said Juzo, as he took off.

"Sir, are you alright?" Asked Makoto.

"I'm fine, what about you?" Replied Hank.

"Doing better, now come on, we need to inform whoever is left about these screens." Said Makoto.

"Right behind you." Said Hank, as the two took off.

Later

"Hey... sir... ngh, you still with us?" Asked Aoi, as she and Hank were lying against a wall as a result of Mitarai being pushed into unleashing his hope video to the world as the last instructions given to him by Tengan and brainwashing the soldiers into working for him. As he then took off

"I'm fine... bwa... that took a lot out of me." Said Hank.

"Wait a minute..." Aoi said, as she took a look underneath his shirt to reveal a bulletproof vest "...Is that why you jumped in front of me? When did you get this?" she asked, while still feeling a stinging by the one injury she had sustained from the bullet that didn't hit Hank.

"A little while back, with all the weapons in this place, I wasn't goin' to risk dyin'. 'Sides, this ain't the first time I got shot while wearin' a vest."

"Thank you... I just hope Makoto can get to him in time." Aoi replied.

"I believe in the kid... Just hope we can make it, I'll be honest, I feel like one of those bullets may have hit me."

"Well stop feeling for yourself, it seems that reinforcements have arrived." Said Byakuya, as he showed his tablet to Aoi and Hank, to show class 77-B and class 78-B rushing through the facilities of the Future Foundation, while also Peggy showing Peggy and Dale following after them.

"Peggy... and Dale too, this just got a lot better." Said Hank.

"When did they get here?" Asked Aoi.

"No idea, but I will not look a gifted horse in the mouth." Said Byakuya.

A little bit earlier

"So, this is awkward." Said Shuichi, as his group stared down the members of Class 77-B.

"I can assure you, we are all on the same side here." Said Mahiru.

"Likely story." Said Kaito "Quickly, what is your opinion on Junko Enoshima?"

"She's a bitch!/She's a harlot who shall burn in the deepest parts of hell!/She brings forth the opposite of hope." Was the collective reply of the class, with there being no need to guess who deviated from the pact.

"Hm, likely story, quickly another question..." Kaito started, only to be interrupted by Fuyuhiko.

"Momota, if I hear one more stupid question come out of your mouth I will sell you fuckin' organs and then make whatever is left of you sleep with the fishes!"

"Ok never mind, I'm convinced."

"I'm assuming that we are all here for the same thing?" Asked Korekiyo.

"Eyup, Ibuki's ready to rock everyone's socks off."

"In all seriousness..." The Imposter began "...A classmate of ours might be in trouble.

"How do you guys want to do this?" Sakura asked.

"Cause as much chaos as possible and meet each other at the top." Said Kokichi.

"I can live with that." Said Nekomaru, cracking his knuckles "Akane, Tenko, Sakura, other person, Gonta ready to crack some heads?"

"My name is Kenshiro."

"Wait, you're still alive?" Asked Akane.

"I got very lucky."

"Regardless, good to have you on board." Said Nekomaru, as Gonta raised his hand "Yes Gonta."

"Gonta not like idea of cracking heads."

"Bwahahahahaha, I completely forgot about that, no matter, remember these are people who will hurt your friends if given the chance. You gotta make sure they don't get the chance."

"Yeah Gonta, it's the one time we get to cut loose." Said Tenko.

"Alright Gonta will do it, for friends!" Gonta exclaimed.

"Absolutely not trainer of warriors, you will not corrupt listener of insects and my apprentice to your brutish ways!" Gundam exclaimed.

"Fear not Gundam, he will be returned to you!" Exclaimed Nekomaru.

"And ah' will be provin' the food for you to keep going." Said Teruteru, making Tenko glare at him.

"If you so much as think about putting anything weird in the food, I will throw you out of a nearby window."

"Ah won't, promise." Replied Teruteru, merely receiving a nod from Tenko, as she and the others took off.

"Nyeh, I thought I was your apprentice?" Asked Himiko.

"You are caster of magic, but he is my apprentice in the domain of nature ensuring I shall never walk a lonely path. That being said, we shall have a magic battle of epic proportions!"

"Good thing my mana has been charged." Replied Himiko.

"Excellent!" Said Gundam before turning to Sonia "Dark queen, I will be off, keep yourself safe!"

"No worries." Said Sonia, as she pulled out an AK-47 "I'm about to re-enact the christmas classic Die Hard." And as the three of them then ran off, Miu approached Kazuichi.

"Oh Kaz~"

"Hey Miu, how's it hanging..." Kazuichi said, as she slapped him in the face "What was that for!"

"That was for goin' all crazy on me in your despair state, you limp dicked virgin!" Replied Miu, as she then kissed him "And that's because it's good to have you back."

"Missed you too babe." Said Kazuichi, as he grinned like a maniac before turning to Miu and Keebo "Ready to go?"

Miu handed him a laser gun as she said "A little somethin' from me."

"This won't kill anyone, right?"

"Set the gun to stun." Miu replied flatly, as Kazuichi did so "Good, let's get going!" She exclaimed, as the three of them took off.

In the meantime Ibuki began to drag Kaede with her, as she started to talk her ears off "...Oh we're going to give these people the time of their lives, Ibuki just knows it."

"Yeah, I'm sure we will." Said Kaede, as she looked at Shuichi as she mouthed 'I'm sorry' at him, who in response merely gave an apologetic smile, so Kaede allowed Ibuki to just keep dragging her along, only for them to find their path blocked by Fuyuhiko and Peko "Kuzuryu, Pekoyama can you please let us through, I'm sure you guys have your own things to take care of, aren't there some sword wielders out there?"

"Please... just hear me out?" Asked Fuyuhiko, as he pulled Kaede into a hug.

"Kuzu..."

"No, Fuyuhiko just Fuyuhiko, just this once... I'm sorry, I'm so fucking sorry... I should have never disowned you like that after Natsumi died..." Fuyuhiko shouted while tears were falling down his face, as the memory of what happened replayed in their minds."

"Fuyuhiko...?"

"You should have done a better job convincing her not to go there... if you had she wouldn't be dead right now!"

"I tried ok! She wouldn't listen to me, you know how she gets when she has her mind set to something!"

"No! Don't you fucking dare pin this on her! You could have fuckin' talked to her, but no! Now she is dead, and it's all because of your incompetence! She was your younger twin Kaede!"

"That's not fair and you know it!"

"Not fair? She's dead Kaede and you want to talk about not fair! Get out of my sight and out of this house!"

"And go where?"

"I don't care! But from this day forward you are no longer a Kuzuryu!"

"I'm your sister you can't do that!"

"I have no sister, the only one I have is laying dead in a fuckin' morgue! Now get out of my fuckin' sight or I'll have you shot!"

Kaede flinched as the memory replayed in her mind, as she tried to release herself from her estranged brother only for him to keep going "...I know I don't deserve it, and I hurt you a great deal by saying that... but please at least give me a chance to make things right between us... after everything that went down and nearly losing Peko, I can't lose you forever. So please... let us fix things."

Kaede sighed as she hugged him tighter, while saying "A part of me really doesn't want to forgive you, you know. All the self loathing your disownment caused me, nearly losing myself to the point that I nearly lost faith in everything. Honestly, if it wasn't for my class I could have easily been turned by her, I hope you realise that."

"I know, and I deserve as much."

"But at the same time, I can't keep staying angry at you. We can fix this, it'll take some time, but we can fix this." Said Kaede, as Fuyuhiko held onto her tighter.

"That's all I wanted to hear from you." Said Fuyuhiko.

"Come here Peko." Said Kaede as she extended an arm.

"I don't think I should..." Peko muttered.

"Oh don't be like that, you were always family to us even if Natsumi was too much of a tsundere to admit it." Replied Kaede, as Peko got a soft smile on her face and joined the hug.

"Yeah, Ibuki'll let you be, she'll set everything up for our concert. Ibuki'll see you when you're done." Said Ibuki, as she quickly took off while the three of them kept hugging.

In the meantime Maki and Kaito walked past them, as Peko's eyes caught that of Maki as she said "Maki."

"Pekoyama, you stabbed me through the shoulder while capturing me, don't think I'll forget that."

"I know, we'll settle it one day the way we've always settled these types of things. For now, good luck out there." Said Peko, as Maki nodded as she and Kaito walked away.

In the meantime Kokichi had met up with Nagito and asked "So, wanna cause some chaos together?"

"I'll do it in the name of hope."

"Good enough for me, let's go." Said Kokichi as he dragged Nagito away.

"Wh... what! Hey, get back here! I thought we had an alliance of short people pulling pranks Kokichi!" Hiyoko yelled as she ran after the two of them, which prompted Mahiru to run after her.

In the meantime Mikan had gone over to Shuichi as she asked "Uh, Saihara... would it be ok if we went through the whole place together? I thought we could use our combined expertise to either save people or determine a cause of death."

"Sure, I wouldn't mind." Said Shuichi, as the two began to walk off "It's good to see that you've become more confident in your abilities, senpai."

"You too Saihara, I'm sure that Kirigiri is very proud of the person you've become."

"Yeah, I'm sure she is." Replied Shuichi as they entered the building together, while the Imposter followed after them while having a change of clothes ready, as at the same time Hajime and Tsumugi went in together as well.

This left a few people remaining as Kirumi turned to Korekiyo and asked "Did you bring your ropes with you?"

Korekiyo responded by pulling out several ropes out of his pockets "I got them in many different colours, what's your plan?"

"The others will probably tear through the armed forces in there, I suggest we clean up their mess."

"I can live with that." Said Ryoma.

"You know you don't have to, right?" Asked Rantaro.

"I know, but I'm a maid, and cleaning up after people is what I do best."

"Then we'll help you the best we can." Said Korekiyo "What about you Angie?"

"Nyahahahahahahaha, I'll stay here and let god's light guide and protect the children from danger, while they protect the blue haired one from danger since he is trying to break into the computer of the building." Replied Angie, as she showed the laser gun that Miu had given.

"Oh I cannot even begin to thank you enough for all of this." Said Peggy, upon hearing Angie's declaration.

"Yes, god bless you ma'am." Said Dale, as the group took off.

Back in the present

"Well, let us see what they end up doing." Said Byakuya, as he lowered the screen to allow Hank and Aoi to get a proper view of everything.

Part 8 of 9, to be concluded
