It had been five months and Steve was in Brooklyn when he saw Bucky and Sam together and couldn't help but smile happy they became friends.

"You have to tell him." Sam said.

"No. I'm not telling him Sam!" Bucky said. "He left me for Peggy even though we were dating for those five years. He lost that right as soon as he said he was going to Carter."

"Bucky, he has to know."

"I can take care of her myself Sam. I took care of my sisters myself after losing my parents, I took care of Steve when we met in that alley and when Sarah died a few years later. I can raise this child myself." Bucky said and Steve froze while Sam sighed but nodded.

Then Steve turned around and headed somewhere else.

'If Tony's gone and I don't know where Bruce is, there's one more person I can go to to try and fix this.' he thought and headed out.

Later he was in Queens looking for Peter.

"Where are you Queens?" he muttered when he saw Peter as Spider-Man stopping a mugger.

'There you are.' he thought and waited until he was done.

"Hey Queens!" he said and Peter turned to see Steve.

"Brooklyn?" Peter said and jumped down in front of him. "What are you doing here?"

"I need a favor."

"What is it?"

"What do you know about Quantum physics like Tony?" Steve asked and Peter looked at him in shock.

"Uh, about the same amount. Why?"

"I heard Bucky and Sam talking and learned Bucky's pregnant with our child. Me and Bucky were dating shortly after the snap and I left him for Peggy. I need you to try and recreate the time heist, get me to stop my past self from leaving him and hopefully that will get me to look like the young me and Bucky will forgive me and let me help rase the baby after he has it." Steve said and Peter bit his lip.

"I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you!"

Later they were at the new Compound and Peter was heading to the lab.

When he got there he took a deep breath and walked in.

"FRIDAY?" he said.

"Hello Peter." FRIDAY said.

"I need you to show me everything you have on what Tony and Bruce did for the time heist and the time machine they made." he said and the results came in front of him.

He stood there and looked at them closely making mental notes.

Meanwhile Steve was in the kitchen when Sam, Rhodey, Wanda and Clint came in and froze.

"STEVE?!" they said in shock and confusion.

"Uh, hey." Steve said.

"What are you doing here?" Sam asked.

"Uh, I, I messed up guys!"

"What do you mean?" Wanda asked.

"Me and Bucky were dating and I left him when I saw Peggy while getting the stones. I went to Peter because he matches Tony and Bruce's brains. I, I asked him to remake the time heist so I can stop my past self from leaving Bucky. Hopefully that will work and I come back as the old me and that can get us back together." Steve said and they looked at him in shock then Sam figured it out.

"You know about the pregnancy, don't you?" Sam said and Steve nodded. "I don't know if this is worth it Steve. After HYDRA he doesn't trust people that easily. He really only trusts me now after you left him."

"Well, I guess I'll have to find out when Queens is done."

"If he can make it." Clint said.

"He'll make it." Rhodey said with his arms crossed and they looked at him. "He was Tony's intern while you were gone. He learned so much in only two years it's not even funny." he said smiling and shaking his head. "Tony and his aunt worked together. His aunt is an ER nurse so now and then had to work late or sudden and when that happened she'd call Tony and he'd gladly accept it. Friday afternoon to Sunday night he stayed at the Compound and Tuesday and Thursday afternoon he would intern after school when he finished being Spider-Man. Happy would pick him up after patrol and then when they got to the Compound he'd head to Medbay to get looked at by Cho and then head to the lab. After that he and Tony would get some dinner and then Happy would take him home. Friday would be pizza and a movie, Saturday would be the lab just about all day and all night but Tony would make sure Peter ate because he has a metabolism like Steve and Bucky."

"So, he basically turned into a dad?" Clint said amused.

"Pretty much." Rhodey said and Clint shook his head with his arms crossed.

"Never thought I'd see the day other than Morgan."

"I know." Sam said.

"Well, it happened." Rhodey said. "The drinking stopped and the alcohol turned into juice, the partying stopped and turned into mentoring, Peter is taking of the company when Pepper says he's ready and Tony is paying for whatever college he decides to go to. MIT, Columbia, whatever it is and however high he graduates Tony has it waiting to be paid." he said and they all looked at him in shock.

"Damn." Clint said.

"Tony really has changed." Steve said.

"Yeah." Rhodey said nodding.

Later they were in the living room when Peter came in and they looked at him.

"Alright Brooklyn, it's all set and done." Peter said and they got up and headed to the lab.

When they got there they saw a time heist and the suit from last time.

"My god, he did it." Clint said.

"I told you. He's as smart as Tony and Bruce." Rhodey said smiling.

"Alright, put the suit on, step in and I'll get you set up." Peter said and Steve nodded.

Then he put the suit on, stepped into the portal and looked at Peter.

"Alright Queens, let's get this done." he said and Peter nodded and got the time set.

"Ready in three, two one." Peter said, hit the button and Steve was gone.

"Is this gonna work like ours?" Clint asked with his arms crossed.

"I looked at Tony and Bruce's work again and again while I made it, this should work." Peter said while they waited.

Meanwhile Steve was back to the day they were returning the stones.

"My god, it worked." he said and saw his past self stepping onto the Quantum portal.

"How long is this gonna take?" Sam asked.

"For him? As long as he needs. For us? Five seconds." Bruce said and Captain America picked up 2013 Mjolnir. "Ready, Cap? Alright. We'll meet you back here, okay?"

"Wait!" Steve said and they turned to see him in shock. "Don't do this." he said shaking his head.

"Who are you?" Sam asked while Bucky and Steve already knew.

"It's me Sam, it's Steve but from the future."

"WHAT?!" Sam and Bruce said.

"I went back for Peggy after returning the stones." Steve said shocking them both while Bucky looked away and Captain America winced then he looked at Bucky. "I know what you're hiding Buck." he said and Bucky looked at him.

"What?" Captain America asked and looked at Bucky to. "What is he talking about Buck?" he asked but Bucky stayed quiet.

Then Bucky took a deep breath, took out the box from his left pocket in one hand and the piece of paper in the other.

"I, I was going to propose to you after this and tell you that I, I'm eight weeks pregnant." Bucky said and showed him the ultrasound.

Captain America stepped down, walked over to him, looked at the picture and felt tears going down.

"It's beautiful." Captain America said and looked at Bucky while the others stayed quiet. "I'll come back. And then we can raise it, together."

"R-really?"

"I promise." Captain America said and gave Bucky a kiss while Steve smiled.

Then Captain America got back on the Quantum portal, looked at Bruce and nodded.

"Going quantum. Three, two, one–" Bruce said and Steve disappeared into the Quantum portal. "And returning in, five, four, three, two, one–" he said and Captain America returned on the pad, stepped down and walked over to Bucky.

"I told you I was coming back." Captain America said and Bucky smiled.

"I guess you weren't lying." Bucky said and gave him a kiss while Steve smiled.

Then Steve hit his wrist and was gone.

A few seconds later Steve was back at the Compound and looking like the old Steve.

Then he stepped down and they all looked at him.

"You OK?" Sam asked.

"Yeah." Steve said and looked at himself to see his young self. "Thank god."

"What are you doing now?"

"I'm going to talk to Bucky and try and fix this."

"Good luck!" they all said and Steve left.

Later Steve was in Brooklyn at a cafe' waiting for Bucky to come.

When he got there Bucky stood there quietly and Steve stood up.

"Steve?" Bucky said.

"Hey Buck." Steve said.

"W-what happened?"

"I, I went to Queens and asked him to make Tony's time machine so I could fix my mistake."

"Why?" Bucky asked with his arms crossed and trying to hide his bump.

"I know about the pregnancy." Steve said and Bucky froze. "I heard you and Sam and went to Spider-Man for help. He made the time machine and I stopped my past self from leaving you for Peggy. I was able to get back to this Steve for you and to help raise our child." he said and Bucky looked away and stayed quiet. "Please Bucky. Give me another chance." he said and Bucky looked at him.

"You lost that privilege when you said you were going back to Peggy." Bucky said, turned around and left.
