Bladebreakers in our world

Chapter 2: Fictional Fame and Real Problems

"Okay, okay, okay—this is insane!" Kenny was pacing, mumbling to himself, his broken laptop still in his arms like a baby. "This isn't possible. There's no science that explains this—no dimensional breach, no logical—"

"Kenny!" Hilary snapped. "You're not helping!"

They were all gathered in an alley behind a convenience store now, trying to stay out of sight after almost getting mobbed by kids who screamed, "Tyson Granger! Sign my Beyblade launcher!"

Max peeked around the corner. "Uh, guys? There's like, a lot of people taking selfies with cardboard cutouts of us inside that store."

Ray stared at the posters. "I still can't believe they know everything about us… and they're selling us like merchandise?"

"I saw someone buying a Kai plushie," Max muttered.

Kai's eyes narrowed dangerously. "A what?"

"A plushie," Daichi repeated, holding up a small keychain. "It's you, with your scarf and everything. It's kind of cute, actually."

Kai ripped it from his hands and crushed it. "We need to find out what the hell is going on."

"Language," Hilary said automatically, rubbing her temple. "We're anime. We're literally cartoon people in a world where we're… cartoons. Oh my god."

Tyson, meanwhile, was having the best time.

"Dude! This world is amazing! Look at this phone—it plays music, videos, BEYBATTLES! They actually uploaded our battles to a thing called YouTube!"

"Stop touching everything, Tyson!" Kenny hissed.

Tyson grinned. "Bro, we're famous! I just followed myself on Instagram."

"Stop being excited!" Hilary shrieked. "We don't belong here! How are we even real here?!"

A group of kids ran past them shouting, "Bladebreakers rule!!"

Ray groaned. "Okay, new rule—no more standing near posters of ourselves."

"Or near anything that says 'Beyblade,'" Max added.

Kai finally spoke again, low and sharp. "We need answers. This isn't just some fan fantasy. Something brought us here. And if it can bring us here…"

"It can send us back?" Hilary asked, hopefully.

"Or trap us," Kai replied coldly.

Everyone went silent.

Tyson leaned back against the wall, staring at the sky. "So what now? We crash somewhere? Find someone? Or just… keep hiding?"

Kenny finally looked up. "We need help. Someone who understands this world. Someone who knows about anime... and us."

Ray crossed his arms. "So... find a fan?"

Hilary looked skeptical. "And how do we do that?"

Daichi grinned. "Simple. We go viral."

Everyone stared at him.

"What?" he shrugged. "If we're anime characters come to life, the internet will eat that up in seconds."

Kai's eyes darkened. "You want to expose us?"

"We're already exposed!" Daichi snapped. "Let's just take control of the story!"

Kenny hesitated. "It might work. If someone who really knows our series—like, in-depth—sees us, they might believe us. Help us figure this out."

Hilary frowned. "Or think we're crazy cosplayers."

Ray tilted his head. "Still better than hiding in alleys."

Tyson cracked his knuckles, grinning. "Alright then—Operation: Break the Internet. Let's do this, Bladebreakers!"

Kai glared. "I hate this idea."

"Noted!" Tyson chirped.

Hilary sighed. "I miss our world already…"
